381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: July 19, 2018, 05:47:15 PM

I guess that is the more reason why Pacquiao would not fight Jeff Horn. If Pacquiao said that he only wants to fight 2-3 boxers, I would not include Jeff horn anymore since if I will be Pacquiao and I will be choosing having a rematch? that will be Mayweather. There is no reason to fight Jeff Horn no more, he just calling out Pacquiao since he's career is starting to crumble.

I really don't think that Mayweather would come back for a rematch with Pacquiao. There is not benefit to doing so, it doesn't improve his legacy, the pay-day probably won't be as big as with McGregor, and he certainly doesn't need the money. I think Mayweather will stay retired unless there is a Mayweather/McGregor rematch (unlikely).

I disagree. The rematch could even surpassed their previous records and if the money is on the table, I sure that Mayweather will come out of his retirement and get the final paycheck worth hundreds of millions of dollars, that is if he decided to. As for Jeff Horn, he should go back to Australia now, he can't have a decent career in the US will a lot of 140lbs - 147 lbs that can easily beat him. He is obviously calling Manny to get another exposure and good paycheck.

So you're saying that a fight between Pacman and McGregor would receiving more PPVs than Mayweather/McGregor 2? I highly doubt that. Also there's absolutely no benefit, other than financial to fight Pacman, right now, I think Mayweather won't be taking any fights that won't both improve his legacy and earn him crap loads, so maybe he'll fight Lomachenko or something, but that's it.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone teach me? on: July 19, 2018, 05:43:59 PM
Until you've mastered the game, I would stay away from playing Poker online as you'll just get absolutely eaten alive. Online players don't f*ck around when it comes to small fishes, and you're likely to end up losing out. Just play it safe, get good in home games and free-to-play games for now, learn some strategy then go in.
383  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies are not the only issue on Bitcointalk! on: July 18, 2018, 09:41:55 PM
Sometimes being thorough comes off as being annoying and trying to grab merit, particularly when the comment is unusually detailed, or far beyond what would be expected for a generic question for example. It's good to be thorough, but you should also determine when enough is enough, and try to remain concise.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: July 18, 2018, 09:28:49 PM
The rules of engagement are as follows. When Bitcoin gets close to its next upper resistance band and starts trading sideways, strong alt coins will continue to gain momentum. At this point, it's best to trade your BTC into alts until the upper limit is breached before trading back. That way you benefit from both sides of the climb.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: wow, bitcoin's price is increasing again! on: July 18, 2018, 09:25:51 PM
The price increased in speculation of the SEC meeting that took place today. I guess it was a show of support from the crypto community. The old airheads at the SEC had their live-streamed meeting today where they discussed pretty much all the drawbacks of cryptocurrency, and none of the benefits. Super biased discussion from a bunch of men who can barely fathom its slightest potential. The world is fucking doomed.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 18, 2018, 09:21:13 PM
As long as they can produce money they will go for it. Last night I was amazes on those people that I'm playing with in a machine roulette in a land based casino. I see them betting big and winning huge, but at the end, they lose everything. However, I will just hear them chit-chat for a new minutes as if nothing happens. And then one of them will go down, and return with huge amount of money. I don't know where this guys get their money, maybe I have few speculations. But I can't believed them not stopping when they have huge winnings already.

That's because these people have become accustomed to losing. I think that the people who can so easily lose a crazy amount of money without showing emotion afterwards (in relative terms) are probably the problem gamblers. Any person losing a large percentage of their net worth regularly and still continuing has a problem.

388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I'm selling all my ETH (over 2000) and you should too on: July 18, 2018, 09:12:14 PM
Sounds more like you're trying to promote your pathetic coin, I'm not even going to mention the name here because I don't want to assist with your cause.

You're more likely a broke bastard who doesn't have any money. Sign a message from your address, and then let's see you cash it out then.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Ripple" is overtaken by Stellar or not on: July 18, 2018, 09:10:06 PM
XLM has definitely been getting some great partnerships lately, I wouldn't necessarily say it has overtaken XRP as of yet. But it's definitely picking up momentum. Neither of them have been accepted by any major bank, so in reality, they're both failing to do what they said they would. Right now, XLM is just failing less.
390  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing TheButton.co - be the last presser and win! on: July 18, 2018, 09:03:50 PM
So why not just say that 10% goes to the team? Of course you will be funding the next project yourself any, so why bother splitting 1% off from the commission? Might as well just make it a straight 10%.

9% to the developers is massively too high if you want this game to achieve any sort of success.
Not really. I'm pretty sure there is more than one coder doing the work. Although if this experiment turns out as a great success then maybe a 5% allocation would actually make sense. I think the terms should be conditional based on the money raised. Interesting project though.

Whilst it might seem like a small amount now whilst the game is small, if it blows up it could end up being a huge amount of money. And, as with any game, the RTP needs to be reasonable.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are these nuts? on: July 18, 2018, 08:48:41 PM
I am pretty sure that if you scan through the entire collection of Youtube comments from the beginning of its history, you will find absolutely nothing of value. The only people who take the time to post Youtube comments are either trolls, or luddites who have just worked out how to use a computer. Never pay attention to anything said in a YT comment because 99% of it is intended to deceive, troll or annoy.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: July 17, 2018, 09:46:13 PM
It would be wise to take profits when the market starts to take a significant dip, if we go back under $7,000 within the next day, that will show that the pump is not to last and we'll probably settle around the $6850 resistance band.

Also, 85 + 5 + 9 = 99%

Is the final 1% used for gas fees or what? And do you have a link to the smart contract audit?
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is Back, suggests Fortune on: July 17, 2018, 09:35:32 PM
Right now, there's literally no way for anybody to prove they are Satoshi unless they sign a message from an address that was rewarded by the genesis block, or at least a block close to it. That would provide some credibility to it. Somebody out there knows, and has kept their lips sealed on the subject. If they haven't broken yet, it probably never will break out.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny wins over Matthysse!! on: July 17, 2018, 08:58:55 PM
Honestly I'm surprised that Manny manage to pull off a stoppage defeat against the younger man. Pacquiao definitely still has a lot of fight left in him, he looked like a young man in there. I don't think that Matthysse was ready for it, probably assumed he would walk over the Pacman and soon realised otherwise being dropped 3 times Cheesy
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling requires perseverance on: July 17, 2018, 08:55:18 PM
This isn't 2017, holding isn't a viable strategy anymore for maximum gains. Market sentiment is down so you need to ride the waves in order to generate a reasonable profit. Sure holding will likely generate some profit in the long run, but it really will be a long run considering how the markets have looked for the past few months.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All Airdrops and Bounty campaigns are a scam on: July 17, 2018, 08:50:54 PM
Do you understand how to properly formulate a question, or are you just completely stupid? Your title makes a statement that all airdrops and bounties are a scam, and then you post the completely dull question asking the very same? No, you complete idiot, not all bounties and airdrops are a scam. Sure, there are a few bad eggs amongst the bunch, but to say all of them is a massive overestimation, and make you look like a complete idiot.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Phones on: July 17, 2018, 08:48:55 PM
I think that blockchain based phones could be something that could work in the future, but for now there's just no practical application for it. Seems more like the manufacturers are just trying to ride the blockchain hype train and catch themselves some easy profits. I really don't think that the technology is advanced enough to warrant implementation in a mobile device for now.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As Paper Notes Useful? thoughts? on: July 12, 2018, 09:44:09 PM
Even paper notes used for traditional currencies are going the way of the dinosaur, most countries are reducing the production of note-based fiat and are instead switching to credit and digital money systems. For those countries that still use notes, there is a broad overall push towards high durability polymers due to the wear and tear that usually befalls paper cash.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Fortune Jack a Scam or are they Legit? on: July 12, 2018, 09:30:59 PM

Do you know who are all the reputed campaign manager ignored to manage this long run project! After that current manager taken it in his hand and running the campaign. Hopefully they are good only now but when check about the scam acussation section you can find more thread.

Which can open against about the FortuneJack saying they were scam and not paid the amount they won in gambling. Personally I like this gambling site.

Even gambling company that uses the provably fair system has scam accusations opened against them. Most of them accuse the site of changing the seed on large bets, or somehow manipulating the odds of winning. And yet, none of these have ever been proven, and always come from broken English people who clearly did not read the rues on the site. Also, you get scam accusations about non-withdrawals from people who have cheated and abused the site for the most part.
