381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2018, 08:06:22 AM
Honestly, many people seek cryptocurrency more because of its volatility. Whether they do it consciously or not, they wish to make large money quickly. This can happen only with a volatile market. Further, we find a lot of newbies even in this forum feeling bad that they lost money or they could not make money as value of BTC has not risen much especially with the expectations being high after the 2017 last quarter. Seeking such profits is not bad but before investing I feel there is a need to prioritize the needs that could be fulfilled with such an investment as BTC especially if you are looking to make money soon rather than keep BTC as a long term investment.

This very motivation and idea behind the investment will speak volumes on the reaction of the investors once the market is down. Strangely, many people do not sell when the market price is high and even when their purpose of investment will get fulfilled. They wait for the price to soar even higher. And if the value starts trickling down, they still hodl and wait for the price to move beyond the point where it had last peaked high. But again, when the market is in a steep downfall, instead of buying, many people will start panic selling and end up in loses. Many a time we find this even in the new threads and discussions even within our forum.

So what it is that makes you invest in crypto? Is it because it caught your fancy? Is it the volatility? Is it because there is a need to fulfil in your life? IS it because you are a day-trader? Or is it fun?

Cryptocurrency's votality is actually a big challenge for me. I am a very impatient person and through it, I was able to learn how to wait and have patience about the things that might happen and changes that might come. I would also want to reah my target goals in life with the help of crypto.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: Charity Accepting Bitcoins? on: July 05, 2018, 03:52:14 AM
If there is a charity accepting bitcoins do you prefer to give some of yours Huh

Me: I will if there is, but for now I don't have yet. Wink

EDITED:

Yeah it a hassle for now.

Another question: But what if there is fiat will be disappear in the future and crypto will conquered the world and all payment transactions will be on blockchain system?
So is this applicable right?

I haven't heard of that before but I guess that's a good idea. Some charities might also gain a goodbprofit if ever they plan to hodl some donations and it's actually an advantage for the. I believe that people should have bitcoin as a mode of payment because it is easier and more convenient.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two important strategies in crypto trading on: July 04, 2018, 08:15:14 PM
In crypto trading our choices and decision are as important as the profit we come out with in the trades, but to be the best we have to perfect those choices.

Many people are familiar with buy and hold as a good strategy to make profit, of course this has been a good strategy for many, but for the day traders who don't have to wait all this long on a single trade, they have to follow a different other method which is buy and sell when they are at certain smaller percentage profit. But when you combine this two methods in your trading you tend to make more stable profit than anyone using only one approach.
Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences on this

The simple rule and basic strategy of buying low and selling high is a great way for us to gain a good profit. Hodling is an effective way of maximizing our gain in time. Though it may take a lot of time and patience for us to reach our target goal, it is really worth the wait.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Going Down Good or Bad on: June 28, 2018, 06:21:31 PM
BTC dominance has been slowly droping again in your opinion is it a good or bad thing for crypto in general
id personally rather it drop rock bottom so altcoin prices do not need to rely on bitcoin prices

As for me, it is actually an advantage for investors because they will have a chance to purchase more altcoin due to it's low price. It may be risky to do trading at this point but if we would want to have a greater profit when the market recovers again, buying during the dip would really be a good thing.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: June 28, 2018, 05:20:44 PM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!

Selling my bitcoins for a real state is a good idea because it would be a solid investment for the future. However, I would only do that if I my bitcoin is enough to purchase atlease one. During this time, releasing our hodlings would be so hard. If we'll succeed here, it is still better that we'll have something to invest.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin expectation end of 2018 on: June 28, 2018, 04:07:10 PM
A trader just made a million dollar bet that Bitcoin would be over $50k by the end of 2018  A large trader (or traders) just plopped down a million dollars betting that Bitcoin would hit $50k sometime in 2018.

I am too much positive and hopeful about the future of bitcoin. Who wouldn't want to have a good gain? Ofcourse we all want and we are all wishing that bitcoin would reach the best value again. According to speculations and if we'll base on it's history, bitcoin would still be reaching more than what we expect in the last quarter of the year.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: June 28, 2018, 02:54:33 PM
Hey guys, what do you think, should i invest now or wait? Market is in the red zone, so it is quite risky to invest now, want to hear your opinion.

If I were you, I won't take too much risk in investing because I believe that this dip is enough for us to the invest and gain a good profit by hodling. It is important that we'll grab and embrace the opportunities offered here in crypto right away. Just don't wait a little longer and invest as long as the market is down.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: June 28, 2018, 01:20:34 PM
There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.
Share your opinions below , do you think it's positive ?

Yes, there are really lots of cryptocurrencies around us but each altcoin has it's own platform. We must just focus on what is the best and profitable coin. It's a positive thing because cryptocurrencies these days are making and building a strong foundation for us to have an assurance that it would reach better in the future.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: June 28, 2018, 12:26:11 PM
Hy guys. Most of the time I use to trade with altcoins and I use to sell altcoins when they are above ICO price and giving some profit. I do not hold atlcoins for long time. What if you have some altcoins, what will be your strategy to use that coins? Is there any specific best time for every altcoin and when it is going well and we should sell ??

As for me, the best time to sell altcoins is in the last quarter of the year. Waiting and having more patience is the best thing that we could do to maximize our gain. If we'll wait a little longer, we would be able to gain a higher profit. Selling this dip won't provide us a good profit.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need money... on: June 27, 2018, 11:17:43 PM
I am going very bad phase.I need my money for my personal reasons. So can I withdraw my some of my investment.

Everything in the market is going red and red day by day. Everything has already reduced more than 100 % .So there is any chance to increase in the market within 15 days.
I can wait only for 15 days.
Should I wait for 15 days or withdraw instantly.

I agree with you and I am also having the same problem. I really just want to hodl but due to my daily necessities, I am also tempted to sell some of it. The problem is we can't gain anything but we'll just lose too much if we will trade this early. When the market recovers again , I would dump and save it for my future needs.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: June 27, 2018, 07:29:03 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/2018-mature-crypto-market-will-draw-more-investment-see-less-volatility-analyst-says

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

You have a point because we can't deny the fact that investors nowadays are smart and they always choose an ico which they think is profitable and has an active team. They would choose to invest in an Ico with definite foundation and listed in a top exchanger.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: June 27, 2018, 06:51:01 PM
I was looking at the possibility of investing in several Altcoins as part of my trading by selling off Bitcoins. I do feel that with proper planning and execution, the profits that could be reaped through these Altcoins by day trading in a week would be far superior to that of Bitcoin.

It is true I am talking in terms of a short term gain. BTC is certainly a long term investment but what about the short term gains? As an example, even if I invest in 1000 coins of IOTA or 10000 coins of NEM, I am assured of greater volatility in the market for these coins compared to that of BTC. If NEM makes a high on a particular day even by 0.05$ USD, I would make 0.05x10000 = 500$ USD in a day if I sell all my coins at that price.

Of course, trading does involve many other practical factors which make things not as simply as I write here. But being a pro I can simplify the complexity and say that it is certainly possible to make it so.

But will this not be a way to make decent income every day? When you invest in cryptocurrency, it is a need for one to continually observe the market trends. When one is able to understand the intricacies of the market then it is better that he takes up (day) trading.

After all it is important we make money on a regular basis apart from the long term investment isn’t it so?

As for me, both are profitable so I would still keep my bitcoin and just try to find ways to invest in a good altcoin. Bitcoin is still good for a long term investment so if I would only have that choice, I would prefer to trade my altcoins for bitcoin because I gind bitcoin more profitable than altcoins.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 27, 2018, 06:34:15 PM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.

Bounty campaign is actually a great opportunity that we must embrace and treasure. Yes, it may take a lot of time for us to recieve our rewards but through our patience, we could have a good gain through it without investing. Just choose the best bounty campaign for you to earn better.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: June 27, 2018, 06:05:10 PM
Hi guys ,
Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets ?? Has any one noticed that the current bull run that has been on for the last few weeks comes to a halt every time it reaches the 10 k mark and slides down . My theory is that whales sell at 10k and then create fud so market slides down only to buy back and pump . What do you think ?

I agree with you. There are really whales who manipulate the market because they are capable of doing so. We can't deny the fact that there are really whales behind the votality and changing value of the market. Some may take this as an opportunity to maximize their gain.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how much usd need for trade ?? on: June 27, 2018, 05:46:51 PM
Hey i am new here and want to be expert on trading so how can start and how much money for this?please give me some site or link where find trading tips and get more knowledge about it

I started with only $100 before and I'm not sire if it is still enough until now. I think it is better if you'll study more about the basics of trading first because no matter how big your capital for trading is, if you don't have enougb knowledge about it, you won't have a good gain.
396  Other / Archival / Re: Is this the end for Altcoins? on: June 21, 2018, 04:25:43 PM
All Altcoins are in red. What causes this dump and does this mean that it's over for certain amount of Altcoins?

We are talking about more then -10% for a lot of coins: Charts

Isn't it too early for you to fear about it and to doubt about the market? As we begin with cryptocurrency, we should know that it is volatile and it's always changing. We should keep calm during this kind of situation because the market will surely recover again soon.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future on: June 21, 2018, 03:14:41 PM
Will bitcoin prices rise beyond 20k in the future, and whether bitcoin will only stabilize at a price of 8k - 10k and it will be difficult to exceed that price.

I am one of those who are looking forward for the best value of bitcoin. I would love to see it with 20k value. However, it is really hard to predict the value of it because it is really volatile. It is still best to hope for the better value of it. It if reach 20k then a lot of people would gain a good profit.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: June 21, 2018, 12:37:28 PM
What is your recommendation for Crypto trading,  Day trading or HODL
Experience in crypto trading big loser or winner

I find day trading risky because in just one wrong move or wrong decision, we might have losses. I think hodl would provide us a better profit though it might really take time. It is still important that we'll have enough knowledge and skills in doing both.
399  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: June 21, 2018, 08:42:02 AM
Collapse definition: Market Cap less than 150 Billion

Yes or No

I say YES

I didn’t want to say yes but there is not much light in the tunnel.

The market might be in red npw but it won't be honestly fall. We have nothing to fear since the market has proven us a lot and we've seen how to grow and rise like it did before where the prices are lower. We should not panic during this dip because the market will surely strike high again soon.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: June 21, 2018, 06:48:34 AM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.

I agree with you. No matter how big our capital is if we'll not invest in the right time, we might not gain better and we might just lose our capital as well. We should know when to sell and when to buy because that is so important for us to maximize our gain. It is also better if we'll invest higher at the right time.
