381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn to play Dice on: October 14, 2019, 10:56:27 PM
With dice nothing is gonna happen on learning. If you're lucky you'll be winning, and if the luck isn't with you however you learn there is no chance for a winning. To win out of dice it requires experimenting, from that we can get some tricks that also doesn't assure of winning. We can increase the winning probabilities, results can vary from our calculations.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Action in relation to Bitcoin on: October 11, 2019, 11:59:09 PM
It is because Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency. In fact, many people still don't know other cryptocurrencies exist. They first only know there is Bitcoin which is magic internet money to them. Second, they know it is a cryptocurrency. And the awareness stops there. So traders will always flock to the safest coin in bad times.
I agree with this. It's a fact that when we say cryptocurrency to them, they only know that it's none other than bitcoin. And another thing, if we say blockchain, they'll only think about bitcoin as well.
Wise investors like to get into a safe haven and bitcoin is the proper coin for that.
This is much known reality with the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the base, as well as the one that has got proven record on growth. Following bitcoin we've got lot many cryptocurrencies, and very few have reached a level competing with bitcoin. Maybe the newcomers doesn't know it. Ethereum is the one to give competence, but now this is down and it can be the right time for buying as the price will pump high along with bitcoin.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 11:31:34 PM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?
I don't think Binance or any other firms functioning with legitimacy will give such a huge interest upon the investment. Most of the time big interests were a way to attract the common people who are new to the cryptocurrency network. Most of the users when entering have a thinking cryptocurrency investment will make us rich. This is achievable, when everything is done on the right manner understanding and learning the market. Simply getting in will make the user get into the hands of scammers who attract with large returns on the investment and runs away.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Poker vs Live Casino Poker on: October 11, 2019, 11:02:52 PM
Indeed, can you consider that Live casinos is have an advantage over online casinos?
I think online casino has advantage over live casino because you can play multi tables at the same time. I know few people who are earning extra bucks this way.
I got it now between two of them and I saw those replies on this thread usually prefer an online poker casino. And yes, it has more advantages in online poker over in live casinos. I think in online poker you can play it well with a peaceful mind not like in a crowded place like live casino which you hear shouting or buffing from other opponents.
There can be lot and lots of shouting and sounds, but everyone gets comfortable as they're completely focused on making an earning out of the bet. People prefer who have used to play face to face will always prefer live casinos than online poker where it has got almost everything similar.
.. to play on physical yet you can able to feel the essence of true gambling
Well, in online gambling dod not feel the essence of true gambling? Kinda right.
Yes, the real gambling can't be experienced. Also one can easily overcome loss in that atmosphere compared to the loss that happen through the online poker. Because when we stay alone we always think of recovering back or think bad of losing which is not good.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 11, 2019, 10:37:52 PM
Bitcoin is the future for those who believe of how it can change our lives. Its not just a cryptocurrency that solves different problem because many investors already prove how profitable it is if you invest your money and you'll wait for a certain period.

Though the price is unstable and no assurance how it will perform in the future, I know the time will come we're going to experience again the event that happened 2 years ago.

Whether things were gonna happen same as the past or not, but it has gained more attention globally. This will surely make a change as everything is getting into advancement. It is the future, no doubt in it. People need to learn and understand at the beginning, compared to the early days now we've got more user friendly accessibility. For all who make an investment it gives a bigger future.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for Gambling Domain Names! on: October 10, 2019, 04:44:57 PM
Going through four of the domain names dicewheel, xcashout, wagerswallet, and vegasprize I believe the startup is with plans for a casino. Among the domain names put forth, I find dicewheel suits better than any other names. Also after voting I found that particular name has got the increased number of voting.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit? on: October 10, 2019, 04:01:18 PM
Exchanges have got more added services along with the trading access. Here with yobit, the gaming access is quite interesting, and if there is high win percentage on this game more users who aren't part of the campaign or hasn't used the yobit exchange in the past will start using it or at least gives a try for the game.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: October 10, 2019, 05:48:53 AM
Very big learning being an investor on cryptocurrency is, opportunity should never be missed. Once missed there is no assurance whether we'll get such an opportunity again. This happened with my portfolio, because what(tokens) valued more than $20000 is now not even $200. All that we can do is just hold with positivity in mind.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance rising again. What is happening? on: October 10, 2019, 04:47:39 AM
Apparently Plan B wasn't right (he cannot always be, and I prefer him being right on Stock to Flow model!)

Dominance is taking a breath:

ETH is going up, I don't know why.

The dominance of bitcoin keeps falling gradually. By the time ethereum dominance slowly rising. This is a relief for most of the altcoin holders, because most of the altcoins gets impacted by the growth happening with ethereum. I believe there is more chances for price of ethereum cross $200 shortly, further there seems to happen some large scale growth.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 12:43:18 PM
We are on the very early days of decentralized world. Right now very few countries have been making themselves advanced through the blockchain technology which is the key factor that drives a decentralized network. I came across Estonia which has got its entire government administration integrated to the blockchain technology providing transparency in each and everything happening with the government.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Bullish trend on: October 08, 2019, 09:54:25 PM
I think Ethereum and other altcoins are being accumulated for the next pump. But maybe this will start near the end of the year or on next year. I don't think we will see an immediate pump. But if the pump starts earlier, i would be very happy.
Not you alone, everyone will be happy. This time the ethereum price pumping won't be that high, there will be growth and we cannot think it to be similar to the past. Over the past few days the growth of ethereum is good, and this has happened as a result of the price fluctuation that took place with bitcoin. The same has also caused a small difference in the dominance which is an initiation of growth.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WERE YOUR STOLEN BITCOINS EVER RETURNED???? on: October 08, 2019, 12:43:27 PM
From my understanding what's been stolen from wallets is similar to the offering to the God. This can't be got back, as it belongs to the respective church or the other temple authority. The funds might get used in some other way for other charities through the authority. This will not be got back to the owner.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: October 08, 2019, 08:20:21 AM
That is one of the dirty myth which is been followed in this forum when the high rank members announce the the project from their account.
I personally don't believe the member instead I I try to to sneak more about the project using their white paper and team details.
There are much trusted Legendary Members in the forum who announce only legit projects. Even in this some gets to be a scam, which is exceptional. In one of the project just to keep up the trust of the users one of the manager of our forum paid from his own pocket as the project he handled didn't pay the funds.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 08, 2019, 07:20:50 AM
No I dont think VOODOO works but I do believe in some superstitions

Gambling Superstitions From Around The World
https://www.casino.org/blog/good-luckgambling-superstitions-around-world/
There is superstitious beliefs around the world. When we talk about gambling, this can be seen with real casinos and I don't know how it works online. Maybe while spending online user might be wearing the lucky dress or some specific color dress on that particular day. In real casinos people won't leave their chairs to anyone else, they just try to continue on the same chair. This is pure luck, but some believe in this way that superstition works.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption rising in NGO sector: Report on: October 08, 2019, 12:29:10 AM
From the article it is clear that NGO's have known about the cryptocurrency. When someone gives donation in terms of cryptocurrency, the other have begun to accept cryptocurrencies. Out of the total only 12.5% have known about the blockchain technology and the way it gets used. This could be helpful only if the people are educated to use it.

It is good to see Africa leading in all aspects, particularly they are the one with good understanding about blockchain technology compared to Europe, Latin America and Asia. This can be a beginning for the rebuild of new Africa.
396  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Atomex - Multicurrency HD wallet with built-in Hybrid DEX on: October 07, 2019, 06:06:25 PM
Through the interface it looks much easier to access. There were lots and lots of wallets into usage, very few among them gains the users trust. With the wallets trust is more important, you need to promote and gain the trust. These days even the legit projects looks to be scam and perfect scams looks like perfectly legit. At least spare a little and promote few campaigns which will get some people to use your wallet. If found good, they'll give positive reviews which is how trust keeps growing.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Make Money Without Trading or Gambling on: October 07, 2019, 01:23:36 PM
Only ways I know of making crypto without any risk

1) If you have a Hero or Legendary Bitcointalk account then you can join a signature campaign. Most the pay outs are pretty well. No risk except for your time.

2) Bitcoin or Altcoin mining with ASICs or GPUs. This has some degree of risk but you can usually resell the GPUs when things start to go downhill. But as long as your power rate is low and your GPUs are paid for. It's a great risk free way to earn some cryptos.

3) Lending. Especially fiat lending. Instead of cashing out your profits and leaving in your bank account to earn little interest just cash out to tether instead and lend that. Get like 10% a year. Some risk if you get hacked or if exchange goes
Down or if tether becomes insolvent.
In addition to what you said another means of making money without trading or gambling can be done by offering creative services such making videos for new project, articles/content creation, work as an ambassador and signature code/logo design for new project if have computer skills.
Everyone can't have skills to offer their services and get paid in terms of bitcoin. Very few get opportunities as well, for those people trading or gambling is the way to earn money in terms of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. 10% return out of the investment is quite a big fund, but it is always good to prefer buying proven cryptocurrencies and get the earning out of the growth taking place with time than risking on unknown cryptocurrencies.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins price at bull run on: October 07, 2019, 09:20:22 AM
There is more chances for the price of ethereum to reach $200 at the earliest, because even at the fall in value of bitcoin the ethereum market stands strong. This keeps the ethereum to reach $200 as the price against bitcoin stays stable. The ath value of ethereum will be reached only when the price of bitcoin crosses $15000. This can happen only during the days close to halving.

The price move of Bitcoin cash will also related to the growth happening with bitcoin. More the growth of bitcoin will be the growth of bitcoin cash. Market is moving on the right track, so we can believe there is growth over the falling months.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 07, 2019, 08:50:44 AM
In case of deflationary currency such as Bitcoin, as we are giving our aggregate demand at current price levels. Or in layman terms we are buying at certain price level. Say for example( a completely hypothetical situation), Wheat . You can buy 1kg of wheat for 1 bitcoin today. Now imagine that we grow in our economy and it leads to better production of wheat due to increased efficiency in production. Now we would have more wheat to sell. However, the supply would increase and demand will not because people still have the same 21 million bitcoin in circulation. So now we will have more wheat and the prices would go down and down. But in such case people will begin to hoard money. The will not spend their bitcoin in anticipation of it prices declining tomorrow. This would lead to even more deflation as demand would decrease even further. Thus creating a spiral which we often call the deflationary Spiral. I think this is why thinking bitcoin as a mainstream currency could pose a lot of problems for all of us.

PS: Supply of goods( Aggregate Supply) and supply of money are separate things
Demand of money and demand of goods( Aggregate Demand) are two separate things

Do you agree or refute?

i don't expect to see a future where bitcoin is a national currency. at most, it would be part of a basket of assets (along with gold, silver, etc) that back a fiat currency. so it's probably unnecessary to view bitcoin in a vacuum, as if the whole of economic growth would be restricted to its supply.

your arguments also lead to the age old debate between keynesians and austrians. i'm not sure i feel like injecting myself into that debate!
Bitcoin to be a national currency takes time, because it needs to go mainstream first. To reach such a level it is not simple, because when countries start using bitcoin it will affect their own currency go low in value. Maybe when more countries move to the digital trend bitcoin might get importance as a currency. Until then it is much preferred to be assets similar to gold, silver and other valuables.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 07, 2019, 07:20:58 AM
A small mistake on dice made my wallet get emptied. Only mistake is that I didn't added an additional zero to the bet amount. Instead of 0.00005 btc I mistakenly placed 0.0005 btc. Further on the consecutive bets went for a double the value. This all of the sudden emptied my wallet. I didn't watched the wallet until the bet amount in the tab turned zero. Further watched the bet history and understood what big mistake I've done.

This is sad at the same time funny. I have been through this before, placing a bet and forgetting to put a 0 or a dot (.) before the amount. When I use ETH for betting, I normally place 0.1 ETH above or just .1 especially when I am in a hurry trying to hit that sweet odds before the site will change them. But sometimes my bet would turn out 1 whole ETH even if my intention was just to place 0.1 ETH. I am just lucky that my wallet does not have much because when I erroneously place 4 or 5, there is an error saying I don't have enough balance.  Grin

I hope you will be more careful next time.  Wink
A small mistake might have led to a big win in some cases, but here in my incident it has caused me a big loss. If I were lucky that I could've won on that roll and looking upon the mistake I could've felt excitement. Now the mistake has made me feel bad as well as taught me to cross check before clicking bet.
