Roger Ver & Bitcoin "experts":  "Bitcoin is anonymous!"

[Bitcoin.com - *cough* Ver's site] - ID Required to Buy a Coffee With Bitcoin in the Czech Republic
By Jamie Redman -  January 31, 2017

In line with the recent legislative policy led by the European Commission, the Czech Republic government aims to create a more strict approach to cryptocurrency anonymity.

---

We showed them snoopy government bastards!!!

Wait for it..."for your protection, from big bad terrorists".  Hahaha, I should have written a handbook cause some of this stuff is word for word from this thread.  The only real terrorists in America are the Pussy Hat Liberals.  lol

I can't believe someone didn't see this coming to warn us years ago.  Grin  Yes, I do have to plug my ego into high volatage every chance I get.  And it is funny to see the mass confusion as the muppets' delusion starts to wear off.

So then, really, who was the crazy delusional one all this time?  Smiley

The recent announcement follows the European Commission’s latest roadmap to curb the illicit use of cash and cryptocurrencies. The Commission has also noted an urgency of addressing money laundering and criminal financing involved with these types of payments. The agency believes the biggest problem is anonymity and certain restrictions need to be enforced against these private practices. Furthermore, global regulators have convened at an event held in Doha, Qatar, aimed to “take action against digital currency mixers/tumblers.”

Are Czechs related to Polacks Pakleds? That would explain why they want to crackdown on the very entity designed to curb what they're so afraid of. By creating a modified blockchain thingy, the likes of a Czech FED could easily track every person, company, etc. transaction thanks to the now readily available technology they fear and want to rid. Fuckin' geniuses!

Czech Government: Czechs are no longer allowed to use buggy whips to stir their horse buggies starting NOW. We'll be introducing legislation to parliament next week calling for the manufactures to produce buggy whips per our modifications. That is all. Oh, and enjoy the weather, for according to Frankie MacDonald, a major storm is brewing in the Atlantic and it's heading our way.
3842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funding Solar Energy with Bitcoin - a solid state & silicon based economy? on: January 31, 2017, 09:35:14 AM

Today, over 620 million people live without access to electricity in sub-Saharan Africa; that's twice the population of the United States without access to the modern day electrical conveniences and necessities that facilitate our lives and work each day.

This is genius! I can easily envision the world's cheapest-built largest solar power array smack-dab in the middle of the hottest and driest part of Africa supplying virtually free electricity to factories and households populated with millions of upright mammals not dependant on a readily supply of water or food. How many shares am I able to buy during the upcoming ICO? Further, is the venerable Larry Christopher Master Bates involved in this venture overseeing his Amazon women management team?

Hmmm... if your understanding of African socio-economics came from viewing The Lion King then I can understand why you may think that. Back on planet Earth, the population of Africa is 1.2 billion and they do have power hungry buildings that accommodate solar panel installations quite nicely.

You can see who is involved in the project here (no Master Bates involved): https://thesunexchange.com/the-core-team#36

Hmmm... if your understanding were of my understanding, then I can't understand how you came to the conclusion that I was alluding to existing power hungry buildings when I clearly expressed building such in the middle of nowhere where hardly any water could be had, let alone food for the multitudes already living there, the very folks your envision's designed to help.

Surely, you weren't first playing the sensational card so to illicit emotions, then jump ship from the truly poor to the quasi-poor white-collar workers in Africa, were you? I may or may not be versed in African socio-economics, but I sure as hell can recognize ... okay, I'm not sure what I recognize here, but I'm willing to bet it's something.

^^^ First use of the Szabo clasped hands facepalm. Know your meme: Szabo facepalmed after the panel moderator introduced all her friends, excited to be in their presence (perhaps cumming in her panties), but when Craig Steven Wright starting blabbering out his accolades, the moderator stopped him mid-stride and demanded of him, "Who are you" immediately resulting in the captured image above. ref. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdvQTwjVmrE (just view first couple minutes is all)

"okay, I'm not sure what I recognize here, but I'm willing to bet it's something."

I think the term you are looking for is neo-colonialism. A romantic notion that modern day capitalists shouldn't interfere with tribal societies living in mud huts and pushing our technological wares onto them.

I live here in Africa, and the rapidly developing population want access to the same services and technology and electricity as you have.

Not being a scholar myself, so if neo-colonialism equals "I know something's afoot"or similar, then you nailed it. TBC, when I think outside the box, I'm usually outside the box while thinking it.

Look, dude, all that said, I can't remember why I'm even commenting here, for the vision is great and the dude, perhaps you, there in [South] Africa seems okay upon a cursory review.

Later, bud.

I start out with 0.000000 btc.

Using only free methods.

How much btc do you think I can earn?

You're in luck! I just so happen to maintain a thread on a user in this space who actually started with nothing and went on to build the largest bitcoin mining farm complete with solar power in the country of which he now resides all within in three months, later conducting free seminars detailing his experience: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990219.0 Today, not only does he own one of the most trusted and profitable altcoins known to man, but he has teamed with a venerable dude in Yonkers, NY, in advancing the largest social media platform in the world and it'll be based on cryptocurrency with said altcoin perhaps its most prodominate means of transactions.

Surely, if a former toilet bowl cleaning in South Carolina can accomplish said feat in such a short period of time, so can you. God speed!

Dorky • an hour ago

"when the contract was signed and when the transaction took place."

FAKE NEWS!!

If the price adjusted upward AFTER the contract was signed, the buyer would overpay.
If the price adjusted upward BEFORE the contract was signed, it would need to be re-negotiated.

There was ZERO mention of the contract being re-negotiated to reflect the new Bitcoin price.
I believe this news is FAKE.

Few significant details omitted, leading to a questionable article.

Well, at least Dorky got the "fake news" aspect correct as he failed in re the contract negotiation facet. The contract negotiation he speaketh of consists of a back-and-forth exchange between the buyer and seller - with the broker acting as the intermediary - negotiating the asking price, e.g. $4.3M --> $3.8M --> $4.175M --> $3.95M --> $4M --> SOLD! Further, there's the home inspection, among other niceties, mostly mundane, being negotiated unrelated to the means of payment with the exception that the buyer has the means, in this case via bitcoins which the broker, not the seller, supposedly needed to get up to speed, hence supposedly approaching Sonny Singh, CCO of Bitpay, who then couldn't wait to blabbermouth the dealing once the sale finalizes, becoming dealings, viz el Lambo, thanks to the exchange rate being in the buyer's favor, else he would've been stuck with his likes of a years-old BMW to cruise the beaches in sans lookers from lookers.

The Lamborghini purchase shouldn't have even come into play if the buyer isn't a Bitpay client, the broken just becoming a client of Bitpay so that he can facilitate the moneys from crypto to fiat via the broker's bank account, then cutting a check to the seller minus his commission. The broken shouldn't even have known about the Lambo purchase since it occurs after the home sale unless he and the buyer bounded while enjoying some hot tub after dark with Romulan Ale at the ready poolside, and if such was the case, the broker shouldn't have relayed the info to Bitpay's CCO, same true if the assumed male buyer bragged to the broker that with the windfall he's now able to afford the complete sex change operation he's always wanted. Remember, Sonny supposed got the info from the broker, NOT THE [ANONYMOUS] BUYER.

Yep, there's a lot of holes in this story, a major one being that there was no $4M home sold in Hermosa Beach, CA, as Sonny claims on the initial radio broadcast, especially not one sold during the brief runup timeframe, albeit others homes sold are within the expressed price range and timeframe, with one or two coming fairly close, but if one of them, further holes in the story are revealed.

For you newbies in this space, here's the first home sale in the US purchased via bitcoins from the buyer to the broker, both interviewed, with Bitpay acting as the third-person payment provider, all documented: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IM861KXyNSg

The above brought to you at the risk of having the restraining order against my scammy Dumb-ass ass being extended for a third year because the victim, a known stolen valor dude residing in said home, fears for his life.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I believe Craig Steven Wright is the person who invented Bitcoin.

I was flown to London to meet Dr. Wright a couple of weeks ago, after an initial email conversation convinced me that there was a very good chance he was the same person I’d communicated with in 2010 and early 2011. After spending time with him I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt: Craig Wright is Satoshi.

Part of that time was spent on a careful cryptographic verification of messages signed with keys that only Satoshi should possess. But even before I witnessed the keys signed and then verified on a clean computer that could not have been tampered with, I was reasonably certain I was sitting next to the Father of Bitcoin.

Gavin: Dad, after the presentation can we go fishing?
Satoshi: My job's a hassle and mom's got the flu, but it's sure nice talking to you, son. it was sure nice talking to you.
Gavin: Then I'll walk away, but my smile will never dimmed coz I'm gonna be like you, dad, you know I'm gonna be like you.

Aside: I once dated a gal in Illinois whose sister was married to Harry Chapin's brother.

Lol, seriously what difference is using old locks going to do? The issue is the employee that installed some virus on the computer. Is this hotel going to seize using computers and internet completely?

Rumor has it (since rumors in this space are currently all the rage) that all the hotel's employees are now forbidden to drive pc-equipped automobiles, instead need to purchase a horse and buggy to commute. All toasters are also banned till it's ascertained which ones are not connected to the Internet.

“We are planning at the next room refurbishment for old-fashioned door locks with real keys. Just like 111 years ago at the time of our great-grandfathers,” the hotel manager told a local Austrian news website.

We’ve reached out to the hotel for additional comment about their timeline for switching to old fashioned locks. But given all the trouble they’ve been through, we’re not expecting a prompt reply to our email. We may have to send our questions by carrier pigeon.

http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/21065

Genius! First, make sure you seal up all the world's chimneys so that none of them intelligent carrier pigeons reach an earlier than expected demise while relaying requisitions for century-old locks.

Note the tamper-proof skeleton key.

These brainiacs actually think it's a cost savings to convert a secure system back to a nonsecure system because a $1,600 ransom had to be paid due to their computer system not being secure in spite of such being an relatively easy fix at a fraction of the cost.
3855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funding Solar Energy with Bitcoin - a solid state & silicon based economy? on: January 30, 2017, 08:30:47 PM
So all fiat of the world couldn't fix African problem of poverty and lack of electricity and now suddenly bitcoin will help it?I know that even without advanced calculation this is not something we can achieve.
I know for a fact that if we put solar panels on 1/18th of the land area of the Sahara, it would make enough power for all of Europe and Northern Africa. So tell me why why no one did it already?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2014/07/02/why-dont-we-put-solar-panels-in-the-sahara-desert-as-a-source-of-electricity/#5eafa2b613d7

Because prior to the advent of Bitcoin, nobody was willing to throw fiat at such a project, but now that Investards have proven themselves to throw crypto at projects in spite of demonstrations of their nefarious intent, the moon's the limit, especially since we have trade periodicals publishing paid-for articles advancing their respective concerns (see my sig) if not outright penning sensationalized articles themselves as fodder in garnering advertisement revenue while also linking to other ventures under periodicals' auspices on the same page as said articles.

UTN = No idea

The Lawyers are winning.
And how much did it cost so far? Or is it on a "no cure no pay" basis?

it is based on a percentage same as the mtgox bankruptcy case

these lawyers are saying everything if you read between the lines

which is basically it is well known what occurred was illegal and in time all recovered funds will be distributed with a percentage paid for legal work in the recovery

Do claimants have to pay the court fees?

From what I understand, court fees/lawyer fees are taken from the 33.3% that lawyers get from the suit. the other 66.6% goes to claimants. You can also get more information on the case on www.cryptsyreceivership.com
Thank you for the link. Smiley As I can see there is an appointed trustee and this would explain why there is no court fee to pay in advance.

However, I did not see anything about a 33,3% deal. In Curacao, an appointed trustee can not make a percentage deal with claimants and can only claim his hourly rate and costs.

If you want to compare, Game Protect currently prepare the Full Flush Poker Litigation 70:30 case in Curacao. The lawyer is not appointed and therefore can make a percentage deal, but court fees has to be paid in advance, depending on the height of the claim.

The standard fee for such cases here in the US is 33%. Less ONLY if paid upfront foregoing a contingent fee. END OF STORY!

« on: December 30, 2014, 04:03:22 AM »

I got started in Bitcoin a while ago, I was a day trader in the Forex Commodoties exchange. I closed my accounts in forex and sold my whole portfolio. And I started my own bitcoin mining farm in 2012. My wife and I this time last year had just suffered a fire that destroyed our large Bitcoin Mining farm. It was complete with Solar power, and just began switching out over power super PC we built and used as rigs for larger new ASIC equipment. We then suffered a terrible fire cause by arson that destroyed 3 businesses and our home. (we live in the Philippines so your business is part of your house in most occasions.) With no help from anyone, Not even the bitcoin community we were forced to start our new Bitcoin mining business with absolutely no money at all. Since I have done very well with the business so far, I built an informational website that helps to know how we did what we did. I saw I have a 3 month ROI on my miners which surprises most bitcoin miners and they kept asking how I was doing it, and I have helped many people get and earn bitcoin for free, all the way up to owning their own bitcoin mining farms with no money out of their pocket. Wow you have really good advice. And first I want to say thank you so much, you are helping me,

There is no cable internet available in the Philippines. The main reason I got into trading was because I wanted a way to work here to make money to get back to USA. While researching and practicing on demo accounts this past year I fell in love with this as more than just a way out for now, but more so as a possible career move for me. I am now thinking of doing this when we can finally move back to the United States. if this is all possible I can limit the amount of money needed to make our move, PROVIDED I wont have any issues withdrawing my profits from my broker.

I did research Forex.xom, I did investigate them and ask many questions about them, unfortunately I could not find much bad reports on them. Well let me say reports that effected the company itself. The reports I did find is why I do not use stop losses at the moment, 3 reports felt the broker was targeting their stop loses, So I figured If I dont use them they can not target them. and a lot of the other reports have been fixed since they came out ( reports 3+years old) or was just plain and simple bad judgement on the person writing the report. I found some people to have no discipline, they seem maybe to not understand risk management and were risking way more than they should have on trades. reports like this I have to ignore. But real authentic up to date bad reports on this broker I can not seem to find. I keep all my email chat sessions on backup and I copy my weeks trades and save the screen shots for proof If I ever need it. I never log into my account except from my computer at home, I do not use assistant programs or the expert advisers I make all my trades myself personally. HOPEFULLY this will limit the problems I may have withdrawing money when the time comes.

I will be looking into the power saver, it is a box that allows you to have 15 minutes of power for a computer in case of a brownout. I will also look into the USB broadband for a back up connection, as well as looking into purchasing a new laptop for future instances. The laptop I have now is 7 years old and does not work well. I use a brand new desktop computer for my trading.

Thank you so much.

In a world full of chaos, greed, manipulation, and ignorance, anything is possible, however for the time being Bitcoin is the gold of this industry and it seems Litecoin is the silver. they both seem to follow the same patterns much like Gold and Silver do in the real world. The difference I do see is there are many other coins comping up on litecoin, much faster than real metals come up on silver. As a forex trader it is hard for me not to associate these currencies I deal with in the crypto world to the ones I trade daily with on forex. I honeslty find them to be much like the commodities I trade daily. What i like about the crypto world is there is no paper contracts that can be sold by the big bankers that can cost you thousands of dollars within seconds herein the crypto world.

I like the fact these currencies are not controlled by the big rich bankers, and I hope to see it stay that way. because to be honest I am watching as the big bankers are hanging themselves and bringing the countries down with them as they force their countries into depressions over stupid mistakes that fill their pockets with endless amounts of cash at the expense of the countrys people they are working for.

Bitcoin can only get better with time, the more transactions we make the stronger it becomes, I personally think it would be a very complex task for another currency to step up to the plate face to face with bitcoin, but anything is possible. It would take a lot of work and an even bigger amount of cooperation, but thats not to say it would not happen. just like in forex, just ride that train to profits and step off before it falls, thats all we can do right now.

Timeline:

April 22, 2014: Thank you for the sage advice because I've been practicing trading Forex stuff for a year and am now looking forward to a career move to do this full time unless, that is, something comes along more betterer in May involving Internet money, but what are the odds of that happening?

December 30, 2014: I sold my Forex portfolio in 2012 to build the largest bitcoin mining farm in the Philippines.

June 14, 2014: Okay, fellow Bitcoiners, listen up! Honestly, as a forex trader it is hard for me not to associate these currencies I deal with in the crypto world to the ones I trade daily with on forex. Don't mind my spelling because I only minored in creative writing while earning my B.B.A. at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Yes, I'm learned, and to prove it I once had to school Bruno that "learnt" ain't a word, along with once correcting his "at the end of the day" phrase incorrectly used in spite of he used it exactly as I have (or is it had?) on several occasions.

Allow me to clue you in, Bitcoin  market analysis are useless and a bunch of crap, why because bitcoin has no demand other than its tradable market. No one wakes up with the urge to buy bitcoins, no one is compelled to buy bitcoins, and no one Needs to buy bitcoins, because of that it is logically impossible to make either a fundamental or technical analysis for it. Until a real demand for Bitcoins is created or used, An analysis is just a fancy pants wallstreet boy who wants to push the market in a direction he needs and he is using you to accomplish that HAHAHA

How do I know, I was a forex trader who made these very analysis for commodities trade advice. I had a 380 consecutive winning portfolio on my commodities trades, with a less than 1% loss on my lost trades. So i think i know whats involved in making these analysis HAHAHA

I'd say that only a RETARD would continue to bump a thread for me to continually reply as to what characters Chantha Owen Lueung, Leroy Fodor and yourself truly are. Further, Owne has to be a retard, for all he had to do back in the day was distance himself from Leroy Fodor, thus giving his endeavor a chance to flourish but opted to go the other route, hence here we are today - me dissing Crypto-city et al. for the whole world to see, the venture never getting past the here's-another-massive-update stage like its predecessor Friends For Cash started a decade ago by Owen with its claimed 74K+ user base. HAHAHA & Chuckles

Again, THERE'S NOT A MOTHERFUCKIN THING YOU CAN SAY, WRITE OR DO THAT'LL MAKE ME STOP STICKING IT UP OWEN'S ASS, but you continue to try, asshole, whereupon I'll reply in this thread bringing further to light Owen's nefarious activities. You go, girlfriend! You go!
