First, my withdrawal request is 22mbtc. withdrawal fee is written on the site. 0.0003
So the amount that needs to be put into the wallet is 0.0217. But they had sent 0.0207. So missing Smiley
I told live support that the wallet did not belong to me, I did not write such an address on the withdrawal form. And I explained that this wallet did not belong to me and that the amount they sent with my withdrawal request did not match. They sent another 1 mbtc to the same address to cover up this situation. Professional scams Smiley
Why did the withdrawal wrong amount was sent is still unknown. It is vague but they did what they should do. Ignore where they sent it too.

With the images, I don't know who made the mistakes. Only you and the casino knows.

May you have read this article https://blog.lopp.net/how-to-solo-mine-on-bitcoin-s-testnet/

If you have bitcoind and bitcoin-cli installed on your system you should use bitcoin testnet box https://github.com/freewil/bitcoin-testnet-box

or get it from faucet.
My appreciation for your help with the article from lopp.net. It enlightens my mind and my knowledge on Bitcoin testnet.
Indeed, exchanges are simply easier for most people, and understandably, people still feel more secure in buying from a company that they can later speak to a customer support person if anything goes wrong. Even when P2P marketplaces have very secure escrow that protects them more, the barrier to entry is the technical difficulty.

It's this technical barrier of owning your own Bitcoin that we understand and are trying to address with our wallet solution:)
It is. Secure escrows are cool to protect traders on P2P marketplaces but people have to send funds to Escrows on such marketplaces. Above all, having full controls on private keys and self protect their keys, their funds (if they don't trade) are things they should priority for and should learn to manage it.

Secure escrows are for trading P2P but for fund storage, non-custodial wallets are best ones for bitcoin enthusiasts.

Find almost all things you need about security and privacy at Good topics on security and privacy. I don't say it has all advanced methods but basic methods are enough for newbies to secure their devices, accounts, wallets and protect their funds.

In this discussion, the owner or community manager get very strong support from the community with his answer.

Honestly to say, I also see a good attitude from the casino to keep your submitted KYC documents in secret. It is a very nice gesture from them that you must appreciate it.

Is there really only 2 ways to buy Bitcoin? We think there are more, but for the Bitcoin newcomer, it's probably significant to mention the 2 major ways: buying it P2P and buying it from an exchange. Bitcoin ATM some say, but isn't that just buying from an exchange sort of?Wink

Our full answer: https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-actually-purchase-Bitcoin-Its-very-confusing-with-wallets-and-everything-Is-there-a-newbie-guide/answer/BitAmp-Official
In the past, P2P marketplaces are best options for people to buy bitcoin but with the integrations of fiats and own-built P2P marketplaces on more and more crypto exchanges, people tend to more frequently use crypto exchanges to buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. For now, it is almost restricted to bitcoin but in the future, more cryptocurrency will be available on exchanges' own-built P2P marketplaces. They provides many payment methods include credit cards.

Ever wondered how or why we called Bitcoin mining, mining? After all, it isn't just about mining new bitcoin, and the same process will yield negligible amounts in a few decades. Want to see our take on it? Our answer on Quora: https://www.quora.com/Why-is-the-process-of-obtaining-Bitcoins-called-mining/answer/BitAmp-Official
Interesting but I need a little more.

I heard that Bitcoin testnet needs to be run by mining five too. Honestly, long time ago I thought Bitcoin testnet is run without rigs. Could you give us more details on Bitcoin testnet, mining operations on such net.

Testnet is important for newbies users to get experience with Bitcoin wallet, transaction, backup, etc. And help them avoid mistakes and financial loses.
3947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are becoming like Bitcoin fees on: July 17, 2020, 10:21:06 AM
If there are ways to save fees with bitcoin transactions, there are ways to save fees with Ethereum transactions. It depends on how you make your transactions.

3948  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 17, 2020, 09:24:51 AM
1. Is there particular rank to be reached before one can apply for MS?
No mandatory requirements on each rank but you have to be a real asset of the forum to be accepted with your merit source application. I don't know who was the lowest ranked merit sources at beginning or early months in the history of merit system. Now, if you observe the Merit source application observer, you will see it is very hard to get acceptance from theymos.
[LIS T]Open Merit Source Applications, waiting list.
Quote
2. Is your personal posts a criteria to becoming a MS?
Your post quality makes sense as one of very important thing theymos will consider your merit source application. If your post quality is too low that is somehow reflected on one's earned merits, you will not be able to verify post quality of the others.
Quote
3. The primary aim of MS is to merit posts that are worth giving merit and hasn't recieved enough, is there an additional/secondary aim?
Not exactly like that. Merit the posts deserve merit, no matter what such posts received merit before or not. There is no additional/ secondary aim: the ultimate aim is written in OP.
I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
Quote
4. Can i also gain merits from been a MS?
No. Merit sources are given sMerits to distribute to the forum community. They don't receive a single merit for their works. Why do you ask so?
3949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good topics on security and privacy on: July 16, 2020, 11:34:22 AM
Just a thought, I see the list of OP topics has grown a lot lately. Wouldn't it be better to break it and group links on the base of  thematic categories? Currently the list is hard to follow and it’s easy to get lost on a subject that you’re really interested in.
Thank you.

You stepped in my shoes. This is why I delayed to update OP. I saw that post with some good topics but I need time to reconstruct OP format. After having a new format, I will update OP with several new topics.

I like it so I sent you an award but I feel your post quality is not good enough. Mostly spam, to be said. You should improve your post quality and my award can not help you to go nowhere if you don't improve yourself.

Update:
11 sMerits were sent out, 31 more to go!

OP do you have plans to have Native SegWit (Bech32) addresses for Bitamp wallet in future?
It can help lowering fees for transactions even more than regular segwit.
Bitamp wallet ready has 3 address types and Bench32 is one of them.
It is your key, it is your bitcoin. Secure your key.

With Bitamp wallet, from a single private key, you can have three options to get 3 types of receiving address list, for: standard(1xx), segwit (bxx), and P2SH (3xx). You can choose which types of address you want to use, from the Overview tab or from the Addresses tab. Choose it from the dropdown menu.
Lightning network (lnxxxx) if possible, I suggest.
3953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why newbies involves in copying already treated topic on: July 15, 2020, 02:01:03 PM
It obvious that some newbies are interested in joining campaign instead of studying to know or to learn the rudiments of making quality post on its own.
It is what they choose at beginnings. Newbies are free to choose the journey they will go. Choose wrong at beginnings and do neither change nor upgrade themselves.

Many begginers are involves in plagiarism in order to earn merits and speed up activities to join  quick campaign that will enrich them.
Plagiarism is stealing ideas and works of the others. On the forum, account restriction for plagiarism is permanent ban. Users do plagiarism won't get rich.
Quote
It come to my understanding through my observations that many newbies in the forum are already existing member of the forum because a begginer who has no base find it difficult to be merited why someone that created account today before three day will be merited without quality post.
I know vividly that many will react to this post negatively in order to bring me down.
To be honest, I feel difficult to catch your ideas.  Undecided

I think you can write some descriptions for links you posted. Descriptions help readers fastly imagine what links are written for.

That one (I get it in OP): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261948.msg54787438#msg54787438 can be posted like this Upgrade stole of my bitcoin.

Some good this posting way can help: save more space, and the aforementioned reason.
3955  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 15, 2020, 12:24:46 PM
I've heard, that local boards have different number of merit source. There are people, that due to some reason, evade leaving their local board. That means chances for them to get merit is lower, compared to others.
Don't move out of local boards, people will restrict themselves to only what is written in their local boards, by their locals. That in turn will restrict them to learn knowledge (forum rules, and crypto knowledge).
Quote
Maybe, there are people who hold merit to award people in their local board, not like "I'll give that person 1 merit, and 1 merit to the other", but make a  great task (for example translation of a guide, or gather info/make a reach/make a huge explanation post). Of course such work require great reward. Maybe for such occasion people hold merit.
What do you think if you compare the time spent for initial threads and for translation threads?
- Creators of initial threads do have to spend more time to read, learn, compose, compare knowledge from different sources before making their own threads. It is not an easy task.
- Translators have much easier tasks: read, understand initial threads and translate them to locals.

The problem under the iceberg in local boards is there are less helpful and valuable threads compare to international boards.

You are always welcome to Newbie - Members. Join here and take some merit. I feel you don't like it because I promise to send out only 1 merit to each good poster.
3956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advise for the beginners to succeed on: July 15, 2020, 08:36:12 AM
Hey. There are some ways to choose at beginning and the way one user choose and maintain it will decide how bad or good that one is. This in turn decides that one can rank up or not. Choice at beginning can be changed but there are some never change.

Some think they are here to rank up but they don't mind how to rank up without knowledge, contributions, etc. It is impossible.

Newbies are free to choose the journey they will go

3958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can I rollback Bitcoin Core backwards to re-download some blocks again ? on: July 14, 2020, 04:29:51 PM
It can only happen with prune node, not full node. Re setup your prune node storage and resync your prune node. It will resync your wallets to latest blocks that fits the new storage parameter you reset.

Of course, problem might be : you must calculate or estimate as exactly as possible the total size of latest blocks you want to redownload.

Cons: you only can do this for latest blocks and can not do it aims at whatever block you want.

I don't do it in practice, it is my shower thought. I thought that total latest blocks with 50 GB for a prune node will be less than total latest blocks with 60 GB for a prune node. (change prune=x)
3959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Need to know? on: July 14, 2020, 03:28:55 PM
Welcome Kawins05 to the forum.

I would prefer to click on links if I know the thread titles. Your kindness to help others are appreciated but if you are on computers, titles should be included.

Titles also help others who want to contribute quickly realize that whether the threads they want to provide to OP are already given by previous commenters. As human, we can more easily remember thread titles rather than thread indentifying numbers. I don't know you included my compilation.

My 2 cents.

  • Local. Before exploring the forum it is good to head start too if you explore your local too because they can correct you immediately and it is easier to understand on your native language you would like to share.
No. Should not if people can read and discuss in English at acceptable levels.

Should not restrict yourself like that. International boards are better and hottest ones, advanced knowledge are available in such international boards. Good locals will translate it into local later but you will be too late and should never depend on their works.

Using local restricts ability to verify right and wrong given information because you don't know answers in international boards.
3960  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why users are always accused for the vulnerability of Electrum? on: July 14, 2020, 02:32:29 PM
It is user' double faults to believe in pop-up message and don't verify wallets.

Do you call Bitcoin core is vulnerable if user still not upgrade wallet and still use years ago version?

Any wallet people use, verify it.
