41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bittrex shuting down operation on: November 22, 2023, 07:52:47 PM
bittrex will be closing and stopping operation, so make sure that your that if you have funds in Bittrex make sure to transfer it to your wallet or on an exchange of your choice but it is best if you have your wallet where you have full control.
They said the reason for closing is because US Bittrex is bankrupt.
I hope this helps, and makes members aware to transfer their funds out of Bittrex.
Here is the link to the news.

Wow this is heart breaking, there are some news headlines I saw too that CZ is resigning... And binance is to pay some Fines to the US. I have some funds on bittrex but I can't withdraw them because they don't really worth the withdrawal fee am to spend there.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pro-trend or Counter-trend? on: November 21, 2023, 10:32:19 PM
Some people think that you should always follow the trend when you trade to increase your winning probability.

Is that true?

I believe that your potential reward would be higher if you trade along with the trend because the EOF is making new high or new low, so we should expect that there is a break structure to occur when the pullback ends. This doesn't mean that your win rate would be higher. There are traders who are profitable with the counter trend setup, and I believe that there are traders who wins more with this.

Well, to identify which trend you can win more, we will make a poll to identify whether pro-trend or counter-trend usually has the higher win rate.

Trading counter trend is one of the most risky side of trading I tried so hard to avoid no matter how clean it looks because it's a suckers trade I love trading with the trend always... And yeah to trade with trend can be annoying as well because you have to wait till the timeframes are aligned together.

44  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Please Be Careful With Binance/Others P2p on: November 20, 2023, 09:08:39 PM
This happened to last month or thereabout and and yesterday again it repeat itself. I place an order to sell coins and in Binance, we are warned that we should received the money before releasing the coins to the buyer and if you release your coins, and the transaction failed, or the vendor did not send you the money, Binance will not reliable for your negligence and you are on your own. So after when I had planned the order, I waited for like 40 minutes for him to send the money so I could released the coins. And finally the guy said he has send the money but me I have not received the money. But the release link has shown yellow.
And I refused to release the coins since I have not seen the money in the bank account, and the guy was disturbing to release the coins but I refused. And later the guy asked me to send him another account number and I did, and he send the money to the second account number and I received the funds and I also released the coins.

All what I am saying here is, mostly to those who are not aware of this please be careful when dealing with vendors in Binance and any other exchange. Don't release your coins when you have not received your money. If the matter is serious tell the person to send you a screenshot of the payment slip. And make such you check the date, time and, minutes to know the exact time the transaction took place. And if all the information are correct then you can release the coins, because there are some times that the delay is from your side. But be careful. And how many of you have experienced that before?

Over careful dey worry me when it comes to P2P on binance because like this I no go fit shout... For hard earned money I get go come otilo or for vanishing, I no dey even wan let anything distract me when I dey do transactions on binance P2P.

46  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Laziness and pride on: November 20, 2023, 08:59:55 PM
Most people think life is a bed of roses where you can get anything you want so easily,  well some people are born with silver spoon while some are  not. Those who are not born with silver spoon instead of them to work or hustle genuinely they rather go into things that won't stress them,  things that are not genuine,  things that will lead to destruction,  things that are not worth it.
Most of our youth are so lazy to the extend that the houses they live in they can't clean it,  talk more of going to look for a job that will fetch them money. Like I said earlier most of our youth don't come from a rich background and yet they select the type of job they will do, a job that the least person in the society can do,  yes everyone knows that some job are hard but this category of people am talking about do not prefer anyone at all.
However,  since this set of people have decided not to work for somebody or under person.  I think they should start learning cryptocurrency form their comfort zone at least it will save them stress but more time.

But like this wey things don get as e be for this Naija we dey so, I no think say any youth dey get MAMA thank You again  Grin Grin  because ehh things dey hard the more dey go and if you check am well na people wey been already take the advanced leg to learn things like mechanic, Plumbing work, tiling, sewing (fashion), baking as at 2017, 2018 Down na them county no dey hard as it stands.

48  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: When you think you have seen it all. on: November 18, 2023, 08:12:37 PM
There is no way you will think about this current economy in Nigeria you will not share tears for Nigeria. I thought I have seen it all for poor economy until I saw this new economy that is coming like what will end many people lifes in the land and, the new officials are not coming with minds of fighting some of the things that caused all those things to happened in the past government. I thought that what we saw in Jonathan economy is a worst economy to the citizens of Nigeria until I seen Buhari economy that turned to fire into the lifes of the citizens, were the price of commodities increase double, and cashless politics was like fuel pumping the hardship that made many youths to start finding their way to other countries to save their lifes, and many  industries stopped working for Buhari regime because of the huge amount of taxes the government officials was generating from the companies that was accommodating some citizens to have something to earn monthly to fend their families, and it caused many companies to fold up and many citizens went with frustration.

I thought, I have seen it all until I begin to see some things that is worst than the previous economy. I used to buy a liter of fuel #180 in Buhari regime but, since we entered this new regime the price of fuel hit #500 that made many things to went wrongs in the Nigeria economy and the worst thing is that the new government is not bring any strategies that will improve the weak economy. This is my question, How will Nigeria economy look like when this new government is approaching her second tenure? Because the way the new government economy look like now show, that we are about to enter disaster that will make other country to take over the country.
What is your opinion my Naija people.

But with all this thing's wey dey happen O.P you know say we get people wey still dey enjoy the economy, like I just weak as it stands now for this hard time for where I dey stay inside an estate building dey go on like I come dey ask my self where this people dey see money ehh... Many dey cry and these ones dey build houses. Fuel now is ₦670 for where I dey state other places ₦650 and so on  the price no even one drop, December like this people no go fit travel on to say fuel go Cost weytin no good... mtcheeew I tire
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice of propfirm on: November 18, 2023, 08:06:04 PM
Can't you just get it?

We are tired of you shilling your "prop firm" here and there using your alternate accounts. it's probably scam (Cryptofundtrader.com)
I mean just look at your post history - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=3550769;sa=showPosts

And then you alternate accounts
1. ameliabrw ---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5470934.msg63021497#msg63021497
2. sam5tay ---> https://ninjastic.space/post/63083638
3. Joseph09 ---> https://ninjastic.space/post/63094695

That's very bad of that Op, seriously, is there any need coming up here and talking about prop firm, we all know many that are scammers taking people hard earned money... I was even thinking the O.P wanted to say something tangible not knowing he has a past history of some shitty activities with Alternate account.

51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a question about posting a bounty. on: November 17, 2023, 06:45:55 AM
I own a token on Ethereum, although its transfer fees are expensive compared to other networks. Our token represents ownership and governance over a group of digital assets. I am new to publicly selling coins, and I think it's time to start a bounty program. We are thrilled to mint and distribute coins. I have successfully deployed 2 smart contracts on Ethereum, 2 on BNB, and one on Polygon. These will serve as incentive or reward tokens. Right now, I'd love to treat everyone here to some deep-dish Chicago pizza and reward you with my coins during my bounty program. This is my first post on the board, and I hope it sends a positive message. I appreciate any advice you can offer. In the meantime, I'm enhancing the security of my website and creating more backups than ever! Also, I need to connect with Dropbox.
Thank you,
Mike from Brink Coin Token

This is more like you asking a Question buddy, with all you said here. You are just telling us your plans or project you are establishing in the background which doesn't concern anyone on what you are saying, and for a newbies like you with no activities on bitcointalk to post a bounty here it's a RED FLAG
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't leave your coins in an exchange on: November 17, 2023, 06:40:40 AM
I think the discussion here should have been that DON'T LEAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON EXCHANGE, coin can be different type coin, fiat is what we can't leave on an exchange, and at the back of your mind you think you are saving in the right place.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much was the price of Bitcoin when you started trading? on: November 16, 2023, 09:39:38 PM
Let's take a stroll down memory lane and reminisce about the early days of our crypto journeys. It's fascinating to see how far we've come since we first stepped into the world of cryptocurrencies.

The question today is how much was the price of Bitcoin when you started trading?

Wish I had a good smartphone then I know how much would have been resting in my account today... But all the same I still got hold of some millions through crypto, and as for the price of Bitcoin then when I started it was in Satoshi I know and then it was worth like ₦400,000k In naira. And that's same year was when I started trading Alt coin and accumulation of AirDrops of different shit coin, What an history to remember.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can the bullish pin bar candle pattern be used to predict the bull market? on: November 16, 2023, 02:52:26 PM
As April's Halving event approaches, one wonders even more when the expected increase in BTC's value will take place. Are there any specific candle patterns that you know of that can be used in technical analysis to catch the Bull Run ahead of time?  There are those who argue that candlestick patterns called bullish pin bars signal a bull market, but I am not so sure about the validity of candlestick patterns in terms of predicting the right outcome.

Do you have an indicator that you use that you think is useful for accurate predictions in technical analysis? Also, have you come across such a sign in the recent past until today and what are your analyzes?

Well pin bars are good candle indications for rejection to and opposite direction of the market but apart from pin bars candles we have a whole lot of candle formations out there. On my own list the one's I use are: pin bars, hammer, evening and morning star, COW (cord of wood) this cow is not frequently seen on chart. But the ones I know the market makers uses are the ones I just mentioned.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read the screenshots traders post. An example. on: November 16, 2023, 10:11:36 AM
Here is the screenshot that was posted on a Telegram channel, and people seem to be exited about it. I kind of understand that the person is doing trading, however, I am not sure I understand the details.

So the general question is how to read the screenshot?

1. Where is the trade is made? I guess Binance, I might be wrong
2. What is Mark Price?
3. What is Margin?
4. What is Risk? What does the 9.89% risk means in this particular case?
5. I guess "Est. Liq. Price" means the price at which DOT will be sold. Is that right?
6. What is Cross 10x means?
7. Any other details to pay attention?

Thanks.

The one i dont understand here in the picture is the REVERSE what is the meaning of that, in my own i use ISOLATED rather than CROSS, so if the reverse can be explained so i get to usnderstand what it stands for.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to detect two different prices on P2P trade on: November 15, 2023, 12:54:10 PM
As bitcoin is on the rise FOMO will make people who sell their Bitcoin at a loss buy another bitcoin in other not to miss out on the next market bull run, and scammers will use this opportunity that buying and selling of Bitcoin has increased to scam people of their money who are not careful when selling their bitcoin on P2P trading. There is a scam in P2P trading that most newbies don't notice when selling their Bitcoin and they will end up losing some of their money in the trade. Some scammers set up two different buying orders in P2P trading and when you click on their orders to sell your Bitcoin to them, the buying order they placed on the P2P marketplace will not be the same thing as the one when you open the order to sell your Bitcoin and you will end up in selling your Bitcoin at a cheap rate without knowing.

Let me use Peter-Obi as a case study. For example, Peter-Obi set the price of one BTC for 41,084,000 Naira, and when you click to sell your Bitcoin to him there will be a different price without you knowing.

If the scammer has set such two prices differently it will not be invincible so you will not notice. I don't know how they manipulate this.

How to detect the price difference on P2P trading
When you open a buyer order when selling your Bitcoin on a P2P trading, refresh the order to be sure that the price is the same thing as the one the buyer placed on the open market of the P2P trading before you enter the quantity of Bitcoin you want to sell or after you have entered the quantity of BTC you want to sell, do your math by calculating the worth of the quantity of BTC you want to sell in dollar to your local currency to be sure if the value you have in fiat from your calculation is the same fiat value on the P2P trade before you can click on sell.

I believe binance has made every instructions clear when using the P2P service, dont release funds or assets when payment is not confirmed, and this i think affects those who trade just bitcoin as for me i trade USDT to my country fait when i wanna purchase things at the store or make use of money handy.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im short trader Im new here but been long time in trading on: November 15, 2023, 12:50:01 PM
I have developed my best way to know wich coin will be best short.

I checked on binance and i did find that DOGE coin will fall sooner then others.
How do i know that ? By my new trading formule. When coin price is higher then overbought level. Then i measure the exacly how much is higher and then i see i was going all over binance now and i see the doge are overbought and the price of doge are also higher then level above overbought.
Off course i have long experince on trading and a lot sleepless nights and mistakes and a lot losses until i discovered the best method.
My time and efforts are not for Free so i have my own private team who follow me to make money with my short signals and honestly all trades are in profit maybe 1 loss out of 10 trades and we do only short trades by using my new indicator " when price is higher then overbought level " i have special ways to measure this.

With this secret formule i can find best short positions.

For me i dont have a particular way to trade, i go long if its a long i go short if its a short, everyone has its own formula to approach the market, but all our aim is to make money of it, be it short or long, and is to stick to what works for you and at your own comfort.

Hello,
What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Crypto and Forex? Why should anyone choose Crypto over Forex?

Thank you.

Tho the both market are volatile during news event and manipulation is bond to happened, but i prefer crypto to forex because crypto can be traded on weekends, tho the price is kind of slow, and another thing is there are lots and lots of coin to trade on like forex, just few currency pairs to trade from.
