Is it possible to link the report to moderator button to a mod-only subforum where we can write decent posts to report someone. I find it hard to write or link every spampost a user has written in that 1x1 box, and therefore i can't link all the post that user has spammed the forum with. Yes we can place it in the meta section and link it there, but with so many posts everyday i think this suggestion would make it easier for the mods to get rid of every report 1 by 1.
Are other people experiencing the same thing?

Info I have from good source, friend lost 2btc. He didnt enter phishing site and also didnt clicked on any fake mail. In bittrex he have unusual activity detected from Australia. All his alts were sold into BTC and BTC was transfered away. Bittrex didnt replied him until.
Please provide evidence, it's easy to put on an online forum that something was hacked, insist people to draw all their funds to other exchanges. But bittrex has a lot of accounts so if only 0,01% is hacked due to hacked email adresses that's not really suprising tbh |

Almost every experienced member around here has multiple accounts. One for each agenda. Please provide evidence in a list preferably, per member and his altaccount. But to make things clear: Can I buy an account without being punished or not? I find it somewhat humiliating to be a newbie among all those big star Legendaries and Heroes.
Do you have some uncertainties that your rank reflects who you are? Do you really think that buying an account will keep you safe. By looking at your post history, even with a legendary account you are going to get discovered, reported and tagged. Except perhaps for safely speaking the truth about the green trusted Legendaries' true nature. You have some serious grudge against green trusted legendaries as this is not the first time you are posting this, did they do something to you? |

Investing in altcoins is the only way to multiply your bitcoins.
For example if you have 1 bitcoin, you can leave it and just wait till the USDBTC value goes up to gain based on that value.
If you are really good in trading, you invest that 1 bitcoin in multiple altcoins and multiply that 1 bitcoin in 2 bitcoins. This way you gain on the bitcoin multiplier and the USDBTC value.

Love the U.S., but sometimes I think I'm living in a country where the cost of living is too damn high--and the weather sucks. Do mansions exist in the countries where $1 can pay a month's rent? Seems to me that I could be living like a pimp if I just saved up enough and then immigrated to a place in Africa or wherever.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least if there really was an office in Russia where all they did all day was shitpost on bitcointalk. The boss probably outsourced the shitposting work and pays them in vodka. It's sad, but since the time of hilarious's linked thread, sig campaigns have gotten even more lucrative as the price of bitcoin has skyrocketed.
I've no sympathy for their starvation stories, either. That's no way to earn a living.
Well just as an example i know from people from my work that go on secondment to india are living like a king with their salary they earn here. So yeah depends on which country you live now and where you go, makes a ton of difference. Same goes for african countries, some asian countries. |

Don't think so, as this is done intentionally to stop users/bots from spamming the forum with requests.
If there would be no delay, people with bad intentions / botnets could keep spamming it, effectively resulting in the forum being ddosed.
Which is my theory^, not sure why else they would put a cooldown timer on it.
It is, but i have noticed that with rank i can search faster with less delay. So i think the delay is combined with the post limit a rank can do every min/sec. |

Nice find, but it got me thinking this forum can give a subtantial income to people in poor countries. For us 1 USD coin is not even enough for a starbucks cofee, but in some countries in can be a month rent.... Still doesn't justifies that people can copy-paste, spam or send off-topic replies. This problem should really get taken care of by permanent IP-banning these type of accounts. Letting banned accounts make an alt-account and finding that the same type of violation is occuring 1 month later is too much work for the admins, and will degrade the quality of this forum. Would it help to make a 1 account per IP rule, or (if it's not already done) make a ban ties to the IP used at that moment? |
