41  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk user Joerii passed away... on: September 18, 2023, 05:41:27 PM
As far as I know, he was a part of the mintlayer project. It was a quite different altcoin project, not like the traditional one. He managed a campaign for mintlayer here last year.

RIP, Joerii!!

I checked his posts now and discovered he spent quite a time managing the Mintlayer project. But am not familiar with him, maybe he was inactive when I became active or he was active when I was not. My heart weeps for the young family he left behind. Life is full of sad events and death is one of them. RIP, Joerii.
42  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN]Stake.com NEW SIGN CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l 15 HERO & LEG SPOTS OPEN on: September 16, 2023, 12:31:29 PM

I like the quick responses participants of Stake.com campaign made to support their manager. I smell the cool  friendship here and wish am one of those here. That is a vote of confidence passed. If only this campaign allows Senior members I would have applied. Keep staking and keep flying higher.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 16, 2023, 11:40:19 AM
People like those (me) who don't gamble for fun have this question to answer: how will you feel when you don't have money to stake a game that you predicted and better winning games you predicted played the way you predicted it and when you checked the winning was something that could have changed your life for ever if you didn't gambled again after such winning?

It is said that anyone who predicts a game but complains he did not have money to stake on it does not trust his prediction. I believe that. If he has trust in his prediction he would do anything to get money to play the games. If you did not play there is no need to regret not winning. The feeling of I would have won and become rich should not come up.

If it happens to me, I can't stop thinking of it, but definitely one day I will stop thinking about it and see it as history or not yet, my time for big wins just like how it happened to me when I lost a bet that would have given me long-term smiles.

If you will not stop thinking about it, you will only be hurting your self with that behavior.  Your loss in that bet is too much. Only one game cut your ticket. Your prediction was very good. If you had known you would havee stopped around 1.3 million. It is also a round number.
44  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 16, 2023, 08:10:09 AM

So lets say now, my wife naturally does not like gamblers as she sees them as jobless, lazy and money wasters, imagine i let her know that i gamble, how possibly can i explain this to her understanding?, what exactly am i going to tell her that will make her understand that not every gambler is jobless, lazy and just wasting money, i will rather spare myself that stress of trying to convince her, by keeping my gambling activities a secret to her, than trying to convince in any way.

And the day she finds out what do you think will happen? She will lose all trust in you and whatever you tell her later. If you are winning more of your games than you lose, and you earn from it, why would you hide it. Those who hide their gambling habits are those who have more loses than winning. If your wife does not have financial issues and arguement with you but does not know you are a gambler it is better you tell her than for her to find out herself. You can stylishly disclose your winnings to her once in a while. Watch her and you will find out that she will later become cool with it.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🟣[ACTIVE][$100 USDT GIVEAWAY] OLYX.AI GIVEAWAY🟣 on: September 16, 2023, 07:46:41 AM
Is this giveaway still running or ended?

Do you think it ever happened and there was payout? If it was real there will be evidence here of those who got paid. Do not waste your time on them. This type of Op should not have lasted a week before moderators put it down.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 14, 2023, 07:22:30 AM

I’m still tracking all my human error that keeps me giving a regular losses when I’m on this condition. Do you have something like this?

Am a victim of some of the things you listed. I hate it when I lose for a bet that I should have avoided. Your number one is what every new trader faces and even old traders. When we lose we want to attack the casino quickly to get back our money. We do this with an unsettled mind and we continue the loss that way. The other one, nobody should gamble or do anything else with sleepy eyes. It always end badly. If you are feeling sleepy that means you are tired and the best thing to do when tired is take a break. I have learnt this.

Everything ended when I was not addicted anymore.

How did you get over your addiction? I have seen people struggle with addiction for years. Some went into depression from it and had to end it with suicide. Your addiction survival story will be appreciated and I know many others can learn from it.
47  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 13, 2023, 03:57:26 PM
For me, I would rather work with a less strict manager with lower pay than a strict manager with higher pay.

What you said is true, I like this point. I never looked at it like that but now you mentioned it I see the reason. I have worked with some managers in the past who will deny you payment because you missed a single post to complete weekly count. But there are some managers that will pass the less post to the following week and pay you complete. It is painful for anyone that a manager can get their payment ceased over small thing like that.
48  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 06, 2023, 07:09:51 AM
I assume that just as managers don't like constant transfers of participants, this other side also wants some long-term stability.
But I guess that's a question for managers

But we can not say managers do not like the constant movement because we often see times where managers accept members who are in their own other campaigns into another of their campaigns. I hope you understand what am trying to say here. If this managers hate it they will not be accepting the same members to cross over, is it not? That is my view of the situation.
49  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Make we help our self on: September 04, 2023, 07:02:54 AM
This is a local board; our culture and traditions must be honored. Slander against older members will not be tolerated. In our communities, we respect our elderly, and the same must be maintained here. A member with a higher rank than you is your elder and must be respected, and the same respect must be shown to the younger members.

Criticism is allowed BUT must be backed with obvious facts.

This is against rule No.2

  • 2. Be respectful and polite towards others. Avoid using offensive language or making personal attacks.

I no see anything bad for wetin Onyeeze talk there. Na observation weh him make.

Big bros Igebotz, I no gree that one weh you talk say if person pass you for rank that person na your elder. How that one go come work. If we want to deh rate that kind elder thing for here e supposed be person weh even first you register here. But here na forum and anonymous one self so we no fit talk who senior who here for real life. Make we just maintain respect for everybody. No look anybody face. I called you big bros because you register before me, no be because you pass me for rank and na so e suppose be. No disrespect to you or anyone but I don observe say some high ranked fellow countrymen deh like intimidate others and that one no good. I know say no be everybody go merit your post no matter how good weh e deh. Them go read and pass, that one no be problem.
50  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 04, 2023, 06:20:32 AM

* The campaign manager can also be their motive for switching campaigns, whether it's assertiveness, tension, etc., it can also trigger them to switch.
* Payment is also something to consider, but it's only a few percentages.

The point: the campaign manager has a big influence on campaign participants, comfort and calm regarding the actions they take, moving or staying, a high percentage is caused by the campaign manager.

But some of the members who do this move from one campaign to another also managed by the same manager. How do we judge that? It is clear from the comments I got here that alot of members move because of better payment but the one confusing me is when they do that to another campaign with the same rules and managed by the same member. Sometimes they move and the new campaign they moved to ends while the one they left continues to run.
51  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 02, 2023, 07:20:21 PM
I do not think that this post is formed because of you because you are one of the most loyal campaign promoters in the forum.

He mentioned it here
He was with BestChange. Alot of people can not remain there because there are many campaigns paying higher rates than the campaign he was with but he remained until yesterday that he moved to another campaign.

It was for something good that I mentioned you. Nothing to feel had about. I admire those who stay long and loyal to promote a campaign for a year. Yours was more than that, it is something worthy to be mentioned and admired. I wish your new account success in the coming weeks as you continue to move up in rank.

54  Economy / Service Discussion / Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 02, 2023, 06:00:10 AM

This question has occured to me many times but whenever it happens I push it off my mind. But I want to ask now and get opinions of members on it. I do not know if this section is right place to post it. Please moderator move it if I posted it wrongly. My question is why do members move from one campaign to another? I will not mention names of some that I have seen move from campaign to campaign every time there is opening so no one feels am attacking him.

I know alot of us will say it is the difference in weekly reward, that the higher the reward the more people move to campaigns with better payments. But I have seen where members go from better pay rates to the ones with lower rates and lower posts requirements. Some apply to campaign of the same manager in less than a week of getting accepted and they want to move again, the same payment and number of posts. I have also seen those who have refused to move to campaigns with better rates, they will be picked if they applied because of their good posts. They choose to remain. Is it about loyalty? Is it that they are scared of switching? Is it about fulfilment with where they are?

And for those who move always, is it money driving the motive? Is it about going to where those they see as family move to? I want to know. Some days ago I was surprised to see someone who has stayed in a campaign for more than three years. He was with BestChange. Alot of people can not remain there because there are many campaigns paying higher rates than the campaign he was with but he remained until yesterday that he moved to another campaign. Three years is like a lifetime, both for the campaign running and the member who remained faithful to it.

What makes members move everytime? I need your contribution on this to make me understand it better.
55  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: August 31, 2023, 04:36:28 PM
I can't believe I'm saying this but I will leave this campaign, BestChange is not just a signature campaign for me I consider them a part of my family and always respect them, I've been in this campaign for over 3 years,

So you have been with BestChange for over three years? That is a long time. How do people find this type of campaign that lasts this long? Do they know of it from the beginning or it is only pure luck?
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A good way to help our children. on: August 31, 2023, 04:20:06 PM
I have considered this, when my child is ready to accept knowledge that is a bit complicated, I will start to introduce Bitcoin to him slowly. Nothing is impossible as long as you keep trying to encourage your child to learn knowledge about Bitcoin. Your child's level of knowledge will be honed slowly if you consistently teach him every chance you get.

What of if the knowledge your child is ready for is not the one on Bitcoin, will you still be happy to give it out? There are other things to learn. I know those who like bitcoin will think bitcoin should be promoted and that there is nothing better than it. The way I see this teaching our children about bitcoin thing is that there is too much force to it and those who do it see it like everyone who does not like bitcoin is a loser or a hater. And that is wrong. People differ in the choices they make and that should not be a problem to accommodate their views, even children.

This is farewell to a dog that gave us content and became famous more than alot of humans. The dog story is an interesting one. How something can be made out of nothing. Am not sad that it died. But the way it died that makes me sad. Maybe one day all this news about cancer will end and the world will be free of that demonic disease. Goodnight Shiba, goodnight Cheems.

I'm very happy to see you back to managerial service again yahoo62278, and i wish you good health through out your service and more signature campaigns so that members rank can smile again.

I know this is off topic. But am also happy he is back after his health problem. It is good to have him around, the only manager that gave low rank members opportunity in his campaigns during his hale days. I wish him more years in good health.
59  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How you got your first Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2023, 05:43:23 PM
I earned the first bitcoin in my life through a Twitter campaign,  and it wasn't from this forum,  that year in 2015 when Twitter was the mainstream media for many projects,  I followed a user then and after some time he contacted me to that he has a simple job that he will pay me in bitcoin,  then I already have the basic knowledge about bitcoin and I quickly created a blockchain wallet which was one of the popular bitcoin wallets then,  and after the retweet job the user paid me 5$ in Bitcoin,  and that was the first time I feel the air of freedom since it transaction was very fast

That your $5 bitcoin then go fit reach like $250 now. I no say bitcoin price deh down in 2015 and that na before 2016 weh bitcoin get its second halving and price come go up. If we check history, the price no go reach $500 that time and compare am with wetin price deh now. My own first bitcoin na through campaign I earn am. Maybe na Junior rank I take enter that campaign self. That time campaign full ground and the thing deh reach even junior members too. No bi like now weh be say even Full members no deh fit get campaigns, make e remain lower rank of Member.

This is one of the first time I'm seeing a member leaving this campaign 😳
No player is bigger than the club.

And I wouldn't mind playing for the club either 😁

Obari, that is anti-club comment. Players do not publicly reveal something like that until they are leaving. I hope you will not have a turbulent season at Yomix after this. Grin
