No there's no ICO, this coin has been around since 2015. But it's getting a lot of work done to it right now, hence the new thread. I have trouble regarding wallet... 😕 anybody here can help me ?
I started staking correctly and everything was working fine I received 4 time 5 SYNX. I decided to close the wallet and when I started it again, the wallet behave like if it was a new wallet
no coins inside, downloading the blockchain again
asking me if I want to encrypt my wallet whereas I already did encrypt it
m'I safe if I know my address AND my pass phrase to unlock it ?
That sounds a bit weird, did you log into the computer with a different user or something? Try going Start -> Run and type in %appdata% and look for a Syndicate folder - this is where all the data is, and it varies by user. The biggest problem by the sounds of it is that there seems to be a new wallet.dat file, which is bad if you don't have a backup of the one with your coins in it.. |

10% dev fee is a lot. Other coin examples eg Neutron is getting a 3% fee, or PIVX has voting of budgets.
I don't know if one person getting 10% is going to to be that great for the coin in the long run. It's a tricky question of how to deal with it best.
I like the proposal + voting idea. People will vote yes to developer funding but if the dev does a runner then there should be a way of changing the payment address that doesn't involve another fork.

As for news: ------------ 1) zPIV : is live, active, and holy crap it's fast. Compared to all/other zerocoin protocol implemented coins, zPIVs are ~5x faster. 2) Multi-sig escrow: That's right, it's ALREADY active and live in the wallets. 3) Android Wallets: Updated with more features (push notifications for alerts/reminders/core wallet updates are in works). 4) iPHONE wallets: almost completed (<4 weeks to launch). 5) LANGUAGES: PIVX has the MOST native language translations of any crypto(I think we're at 32 languages now?). 6) USE and ADOPTION: First AFRICA crypto transaction using PIVX in a retail store ( https://youtu.be/AL2-ONN2Fbk). 7) zDEX: plans for a decentralized exchange within the wallets is already proposed and being explored for PIVX   Governance: 4 proposals for laying the foundations for enhanced and improving governance/voting were submitted. 9) Web Summit: PIVX was the ONLY cryptocurrency at Web Summit (80k attendees, 2500+ exhibitors). Everything works fine. If someone can not configure this is not a project problem, the system works stably !!! and the price to enter the project is very sweet! thats bullshit.. i run masternodes from other coins with no problem and here i have watchdog expired and no payouts since 10 days.. for no other coin i know you need sentinel and mnchecker It is weird that this extra software was necessary all of a sudden. Did some spork get activated to cause everything to drop out? Anyway it was pretty easy to fix with the right sentinel code and my nodes have been running great ever since. |

Anyone know when the Bittrex wallet will be active - been saying "wallet off-line - routine maintenance" for few hours now ?
It looks good again now.. I like SYNX a lot - it's so fast to send coins with it, and the masternodes work really well. |

I check today my node and saw that I got not reward since 5 days.
How is it possible?
Masternode status is okay.
I have incoming connections and outgoings.
Have anyone a idea?
Your node status says "ENABLED" and you're running sentinel? That does sound weird. Can you run vivo-cli masternode debug on the MN command line and what does that say? |

There's quite a few. Check out the list here: https://masternodes.pro/ Crave is particularly cheap right now, it has easy to set up nodes and rock solid wallet + active dev team. I started down this path several months ago and it's working out well so far. The returns compared to mining anything are great, and no gear to buy or high power bills. |

So anyone can tell me why my MN is shit?! I know MN setups inside and out, I have Vivo, Desire, Bitcloud, Solaris....Why is Innova such a pain in the ass? I show everything that I should in my VPS including correct sentinel responses and VPS reports masternode started successfully, However I still show watchdog expired on the local wallet and have not received any payouts for 2 days! And when I have been able to get it to show "ENABLED" god only knows the reason, it shortly within hours returs to watchdog or expired. If I am doing something wrong I would LOVE someone to tell me what it is, in fact you get me the answer I swear I will pay you a bounty in the coin of your choice. Otherwise I will off this shit on the market and move on! I am also irritated at the lack of Dev/Support, whoever they are, response to such a problem. Honestly I would like an answer more than anything as to what the CAUSE of this is. Thanks for any help And yes I have been on BCT to check answers there and have follwed the guides, I am no crypto noob been around since there were only 12 coins listed on CMC. I also realize that payments can still be received with the watchdog expired warning, and yes cron for sentinel is running! Like I said in the beginning I have all the affected MN coins, only this one has wasted more of my time than all of the others combined. Hope I sound pissed because I am!!! Thanks good to know, I might avoid it for a while. My VIVO nodes went through this but they are working ok after sentinel install. If you like solid nodes you should get some Crave nodes.. They are very stable and pretty cheap right now. |

PIVX solves a lot of BTC issues, I think that coin will do very well in the medium term as people figure out how much better at "cup of coffee" type transactions it is.
The moral of the story is that each alt coin needs to be able to stand on it's own. eg LISK and NEO are surging right now for their own good reasons.

They're related markets but gold and silver are the old school crypto, suppressed by "the man" to make fiat seem worth more.
I think gold and silver's time will come, because the US will have to revalue the dollar against gold at some point or they'll go broke.

Cryptopia is getting a lot better and bigger lately.
Another good DASH clone to check out is VIVO. Also PIVX has started diverging from it's DASH roots and is the first Proof of Stake coin that has the Zero Coin protocol for privacy.
There's some crazy new features coming out early next year in PIVX as well such as a completely private Zero Coin based distributed asset exchange.

I think LISK will do better than ETH in the long term. There's obvious security problems with the smart contract language that ETH uses.
If the architect of the language can't write a secure contract, how can anyone else?
