41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: February 10, 2021, 06:56:43 PM
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?
Ethereum is definitely technologically advanced and way ahead in terms of active usage, extended products and services the only thing which put it back is the scalability issue that is expected to be resolved with eth 2.0 release. On the other hand being the pioneer bitcoin has its charisma and fanbase so both of them have unique place in the eyes of investors so definitely both of them are worth holding.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I only took two eggs out of the basket! on: February 10, 2021, 06:31:13 PM
There is a sushiswap clone out there that is operating on a parallel network of effereum.  Gas fees for swaps are fractions of a fraction of a penny. Cross chain compatibility for erc20 tokens coming soon.

Did you get your two eggs out of the basket?  Do the needful sirs.
Personally im not a fan of clones or copy cat projects and even if a project is like that it should not potray itself as one rather they should talk about their advantages and advanced features over existing similar projects.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: February 07, 2021, 10:00:32 PM
Just a curious question.
How long can this BULL run last??
As there will be a huge correction inevitably.

Would love to hear different strategies or exit plans or Hodlers
Which coin should we buy now?

Guidance from old Experts would be appreciated!
Im not sure about this but my expectations and hopes are high for the bulls in the market, the momentum seems good so im confident that we will see bulls dominating for 8 to 10 months more and the last part will be insanely bullish.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Finance vs Traditional Finance on: February 07, 2021, 12:59:13 PM
Traditional Finance has wielded a lot of power over lives of people for a very long time. This is because Financial institutions decided the flow of money. Who gets the cheap loans? Who gets the backing and credibility and access? Money and Value is really about access and the power to influence. Banks have a hell lot of both.

Bitcoin, blockchain and crypto in general has enabled a lot of people to have a shot at wielding that power. The information barrier is not high and it does not ask for pedigree. You don't have to be a Harvard graduate to have your plans taken seriously. If you have the ability to take an honest idea and make it work using the blockchain technology, you can easily be the next big institution. Just look at all these DeFi projects with people locking funds in their custody.

The question is are we ready for it? Do you have the capacity to engage and build access??
Decentralized finance is definitely the winner among the two because it simply has more features and benefits for the end user so im sure decentralized finance is the way forward the only thing it lacks is compliance towards regulators and govts but obviously it is the govts. Who have to define the rules for them, if necessary.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about some other low cap gems please; I want to buy on: February 04, 2021, 06:48:06 PM
I already have gems like $BET $LTC $ADA & $BNB already, stop being greedy, shill me some other low cap gems I should buy - like now
Bro the coins you have posted are not low caps infact most of them already have a market cap of over a billion so in that category i think you should load up on trx, icx, nano and vet before they start their moon shot.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: February 03, 2021, 09:05:57 PM
Just wondering what your strategy for taking profits on alts?

Do you sell when your alts double against in USD or BTC? or what % to make sure ur safe from dumps?

When you sell do you buy more BTC or Rotate into another Altcoin?

Since i have major portfolio in ETH i do invest in other coins with my Eth and only if i find a good price in a quality coin so overall i do check the profit in terms of Eth and make sure that even if im getting good margin in usd terms i should also be in profit with reference to Eth.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin would you Buy now and Why? on: February 03, 2021, 08:31:20 PM
- Kyber Network

- LoopRing

- Icon

- Bat

- Terra

- Ontology

- Iota

- Enjin

These coins are in the top 100 at cheap prices with low max supply, which of these coins has been established for years maintaining its top 100 rankings + which ones haven't been heavily premined + has a real world usage + not a shit/scam coin + has good fundamentals + very active project with regular updates from the coin team.

Which of these coins are new if not established and in what trend? De-Fi?

To be honest im recently buying and accumulating tron trx because this coin is not only undervalued but is a clesr under the radar coin because some other similar coins have already yielded 10x to 20x gains in last few monyhs but trx is still in the bityom range so i expect big gains soon.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 03, 2021, 07:09:00 PM
We should make a thread in Scam Accusation forums because ETH steal $50 on transaction fees for simple token transfer.
Some transfers in MetaMask show as $120.... WTF!

Meanwhile other projects as KoinOS have $0 fees and Uniswap will run just fine on it too some day.

I predict ETH crashing again from $1500 to $80 like with last crash. ETH is an expensive scam coin that is the AIDS of crypto.
Remember all the scam ICOs on ETH? How many billions people lost?

And now $50 on token transfers??

All ETH ever did was ruin crypto. Its not a good project except for the billionaires who bought it for $0.25.

Not even Paypal ever had such horrible fees as ETH.

I rather pay an old man with a mule $50 for token transfer than pay $50 on eth.
Can also just call an UBER to transfer your token, much cheaper than ETH!

So what are some alternatives? What platforms can UNISWAP also run on easily
with low fees?

I already say KoinOS but they are very early (like buying eth for $0.25, still UNDER
1000 holders!!) but what are some other projects? Preferably around $100m market cap or lower?
I see it otherwise, i think due to high fee less people will be transferring their eth to exchanges to trade or exchange while people transacting will be paying high fee so it is win win scenario for eth bulls because there will be less supply while the network revenue will be still high so i expect eth to really moon in coming weeks.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) derivatives data suggests traders expect prices above $2,000 on: February 03, 2021, 06:24:24 PM
After marking a new $1,477 high on Jan. 24, Ether’s (ETH) price was shaken down to $1,206 on Jan. 27. But according to derivatives markets, bulls remain confident that $2,000 is still within reach. READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/02/03/ethereum-eth-derivatives-data-suggests-traders-expect-prices-above-2000/
If you check the amount of ethereum in exchanges you will see that the supply is going down each day and it is already at all time low which simply means that there are very low or no sellers if this trend continues i expect eth price to reach very very big in few months time.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: February 02, 2021, 08:47:40 PM
there is many staking or mining coins.
staking coin like Tron or Vechain
or software mining coin like Pie or Pando

i do software mining with pie and pando both but
i have Tron and Vechain more than them.
but i stock them in exchange. because it is not easy to respond quickly.
and.. Pie or Pando, i just gathering through app or browser. i just keep it still.
but i don't know whether it can be big money or not.
Pando was listed on Bittrex but Pie is not yet.(i think Pie have no plan to register on exchange)

i just want to hear your investing strategy with staking or software mining,
Staking is a win win because you are performing the same validation job without the need of expensive and non-efficient equipment, no waste of energy and no carbon emissions like was case in mining. So Eth staking is the best thing for people looking for regular income from crypto market.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening about WallStreetBets? on: February 02, 2021, 07:28:30 PM
I opened coinmarketcap.com this morning and was surprised to see WallStreetBets ahead of bitcoin but with 0 rank. Is this a mistake from cmc or we about to see another turn of pump like that which happened with yearn.finance (YFI)?

WallStreetBets has 0 position and having done  134.84% within the last 24hours while bitcoin is down with 0.49% within 24hours and still occupying number 1 spot, followed by etheruem as number 2 etc.

Do you know what is happening? What can you make out on it

This profile is just an influencer that is kind of shilling some coins, till now thay have successfully pumped dogecoin and there are rumors that trx will be the next coin that will be pumped, to be honest i do not really think that coins with so high market cap can be shilled and pumped this way but somehow they seem to have been successful.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 31, 2021, 09:50:20 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.
Nothing surprising, this happens whenever market is bullish. The influx of new users and volume is very bullish for the market so more and more people will be attracted to the market so it is kind of a win win scenario for the market as well as for bullish momentum.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 31, 2021, 08:53:09 PM
Polka dot is an open-source project that works with shared protocol that enables Blockchain Networks to work with Synergy. The token serves three distinct purposes; Governance, Staking and Bonding. This is designed to co-exist with Leading smart contract Blockchains rather than competing with them. This is very appealing factor for some Investors. It won't be easy for the Polka dot to challenge Ethereum as many working projects are already using Ethereum Network even though Technically it is superior project but  It is already Home of 197 projects those are working on its networks  and many more willing to join it.

This is also evident from price movement that we have witnessed during the past month when its price moved from $2 to almost $6 that reflects great interest of Investors in this token. There are some predictions that within a year time , Dot will be Top 3 on Market cap.
One of the main person behind polka dot is the former perhaps co-founder of ethereum so im sure he is not here to kill other projects because he must know how the market works, i do regard polkadot as an innovative and advanced project but it will not be able to kill ethereum though it is an outstanding addition in the market.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 31, 2021, 07:49:02 PM
Hi,
I was browsing about 50 pages here https://www.blockchain.com/prices?page=50 then I gave up and googled it...there are more than 2000 cryptocurrencies!
Why?
The fiat tends to reduce thanks to EUR, what's the purpose of so many cryptos?

thanks
I am also against too many coins most of them just uselessly dilute market volumes without any practical use cases and most of them are created just for the personal gains without any business segment in mind. May be it is time to filter out such coins from the market by using some minimum requirement rule.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your most preferred approach to investing in cyrptos on: January 31, 2021, 07:18:44 PM
Yes, most people here just do the same like you because whatever the goal is still everyone is looking to make some extra cash so they will try to take every opportunity to make some profit from the market but personally im more of a longterm holder because i do not have much time watching the market 24/7 because i do have real life business to watch too.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take Advantage ,, on: January 26, 2021, 08:23:31 PM

Looking at the current price, all alt has decreased, is this the right time for us to make purchases and take profits or do we have to wait patiently ?
how do you thing guys ?
If you think that we are in a bull trend then every dip or correction of 20 to 30% is always a good opportunity to buy. I am sure you would have heard the phrase 'buy the dip' many times, this phrase perfectly suggests the strategy for bull trends.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the cause for 10 times growth of BCH transaction in last month? on: January 26, 2021, 07:45:06 PM
What is the cause for 10 times growth of BCH transaction in last month? When we check other coins their number of transactions is mainly as it was in past year. LTC had x4 growth half a year ago since its blockchain was used for one blockchain game. Now is almost back on previous levels. Monero, that is experiencing growth of transactions in past year have about 10% growth per month. BCH had a monster 1000% growth in a single month.

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactions-ltc-bch-xmr-doge-dash.html#6m

Why?

I made teh same post on r/btc subbreddit. Lets see if someone finds causes. Will post them here.
As the bull season is getting started most traders are now transferring their holdings in either safe wallets or swapping them for their favorite coins causing surge in transactions. As far as bch is concerned looks like its years of work with many btc atm providers and other retailersnow bch is being used as btc alternative maybe due to quicker and cheaper transactions, just like the fact that people are mostly using trx now instead of eth due to high transaction costs.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 26, 2021, 07:04:03 PM
Ripple (XRP) has been suffering series of hindrances from regulatory body (The US SEC) since late last year. The attack led to a litigation in a US court leading to panic sales of XRP from majority of their investors. The litigation in the US saw the co-founder of XRP who happens to be the CEO of Stellar XLM sold his XRP. This created more fear among the investors before XRP started to gain the market loss back in January.

Another report came out a week ago that the UK treasury has classified XRP as non-security asset and this is different from the law suit by the US SEC filed against XRP.

Will this mean the XRP might be back to it's position in the Cryptocurrency community soon?
In my opinion, xrp will survive as they have been able to get rulings in their favor from many financial authorities around the world and new SEC chairman is also pro crypto as far as i have read and lastly ripple is a big corporation now with years of market experience and linkages, I think it is here to stay.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: See why I think etheruem will be bullish on: January 26, 2021, 06:30:47 PM
Basically the ethereum is soon going to activate eth 2.0 network which also has a deflationary model where part of eth will be burned with each transaction or we can put it in another way that a part of transactional revenue will be used to buy and burn eth that will reduce the circulating supply, no doubt this model will be extremely bullish for Eth price and i think Ethereum is going to be very expensive in coming months.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: January 25, 2021, 07:24:12 PM
I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

The number of good quality projects and campaigns is declining in the bounties section which just means that the market is still not good for hunters the current slow down is perhaps due to defi trend as most of new projects fall in defi and they do not really need marketing atleast this is what they think because we do not see many defi projects with bounty campaigns so i think for now demaning reward in stablecoin is not appropriate as the market is already slow.
