are you dual mining with Zil ? Then your IP  is ZIL pool ip

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there something I don't know on: August 08, 2021, 04:51:47 PM
This is something that MMPOS and hiveOS can't do and I hate them for that....

well, Hiveos I don't know( and don't like)  but I am currently mining with MMpos Eth+zil  with few 1660S with LOL,ERGO with a 2GB RX 460 and rx 550 with LOL(35 MHs/card!!!) and RVN  with a couple of RX 470 4 GB with Gminer.

Just do as follow:
Create 3 miner profile, each of them with the appropriate syntax in term of devices: profile one --devices 0,1,2,3; profile two --4,5; profile 3 -d 6,7 in the advanced section of the miner.
Then when you are on the rig dashboard, you select all the 3 profiles (nevermind the banner:Please select only one miner profile per platform, for example one amd and one nvidia") as you can do more than that!
And relaunch the miner(s).
Tada!
Btw, you can add another one if you would like also Cpu mining

But even if yu follow the suggestion:

"Please select only one miner profile per platform, for example one amd and one nvidia"
you will be able to do what you want to do.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum London Hard fork on: August 05, 2021, 03:08:03 PM
Just go to some pools and look at the value of the block( Mev included)  and compare to the average of the last 3 days ?

Precise ? Not. Good guess if the sample is big enough ? yes.
In fact i came here to see if someone had a better method.
Beside minerstat Nicehash 2 criptocalc that I think will start becoming affordable after 24 hour
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum London Hard fork on: August 05, 2021, 02:35:18 PM
Aniway, if someone (else) is coming here for info and not conjecture:

Average reduction in miners revenue after some hour seem to be around 16 %
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't solve this issue no matter what I try. on: July 29, 2021, 10:03:59 AM
I have a Gigabyte (h110 ?) d3a with 4 3070. 2 of them being Zotac, ( the gaming and the huge one( that BTW is the best 3070 EVER)).  <with the huge one I got trouble with windows. So:

Do you have two Nvidia card one being the Zotac and the other something else ?
Connect the non Zotac first. Install the Nvidia driver.
then substitute the non Zotac with the Zotac. And add the first non Zotac on another PCI slot.

Ideally the monitor is connected to the non Zotac first and then the Zotac.

You will switch to the onboard graphics later.

I did it an year ago and its working since with no issue at all. Btw, the PL max is 109, and it consume 103 watt at 61.5 mhs.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which one would you prefer? on: July 19, 2021, 10:41:53 AM
that's called investing, not mining.
And is pretty easy to do backward, when  you already know the actual price.....
But what is really needed  is to go forward not backward.
In that sense, with mining  you risk less as the GPUs may decrease in price but never to 0.Instead that may happen when purchasing coins
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minerstat Vs HiveOS on: July 17, 2021, 08:16:12 PM
And the winner is: MMPOS!
I started with minerstat, but is was slow to introduce new version and optimization was not easy.
So, I went back to Windows.
Then dual mining eth + zil with a 6 gb card was not an option anymore in windows.
Tried Hiveos, that elevate the bat or sh file to "flying sheets".
I felt alone in term of support.
May be I am complicated as I have small mixed rigs and I am not mining just eth.
Someone suggested MMPOS, I pay per card and not per rig.
And quite a lot of card are free so, montly I don't spend a lot. Nothing compared to what I achieved.
My 2 GB Rx 550 is mining Ergo really fast, in the  same rig where I mine eth in Flexpool and zil in rustpool with some 1660 6gb.
And the Cpu is mining Verus. I normally forget about that rig because is so stable.
And with the other rigs  I reduced the power consumption by 20 %, and increase hashrate with almost any card from 8gb RX470 to RTX 3060.
I became a better miner ? no , I have the same doubts as before, but I asked in their telegram channel, and they helped. A lot.

And I get the new version of the miners even before they have been published.

I will never look back

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which one would you prefer? on: July 17, 2021, 04:20:40 PM
I am on solar too (10 Kw), so, no risk from that side.
As long as you are able to purchase GPU at the correct price, then you are safe.
Avoid Polaris, Vega can be very good for Ergo, not for eth
1660 super,2060 super,3060ti and 3070 are the one offering the best Mhs/watt ratio.

Ergo,RVN,may be ETC  will go up at least for few month compared to the rest of crypto, while some miner will move away from ETH. Long term is in function of the project, but I can't help with that.

To be fair, as gas prices of eth will be high regardless of cutting the miner part, after a while when some people will try to go for makis a POS node, I don't see eth in good shape

I concur with this proposal"You can buy a mining farm on used Px 470 4GB video cards. The payback period for these mining farms is 6-8 months. After Ethereum changes the algorithm, you can buy more modern graphics cards for good from miners who want to go out of business. Your costs are practically zero" as its exactly what I have done initially
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded GPU kernels. on: July 14, 2021, 05:56:15 AM
I can understand that.

So, are you giving up and your vtc +zil all in one isn't going to happen , at least here  ?

Good to know, sorry but happy  for you.

I always will be interested in a CPU eth,  eth+vtc miner, VTC miner.
Not something for everyone, so no big market for that.So no Bitcoins for that but small fee from small audience.

Go for the money for the rest and good luck

And thanks for all the fish!
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Direct DC Powering an Antminer ASIC With Solar / Alt Energy on: July 12, 2021, 01:03:17 PM
I am trying to understand why you would like to go DC DC

I have a 10 kw solar and 3 rigs working on 220v in an Island configuration without being attached to the grid
If I compare the production of the solar hybrid inverter system (with 27 Kwh lithium batteryDC/DC)  with what has been used by the rigs the loss of the inverter is 5 % max.

I

the 5 %  is worth the effort ?
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone noticed ? on: June 30, 2021, 05:38:44 PM
yes. it is
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex miner VS GMiner for 1660s and 3070, my verdict! on: June 26, 2021, 09:21:06 AM
Didz, that post on the 2miners blog its not that scientific. By lowering by 136 times the difficulty, they artificially leveled all the miners, as the "solver" part of the miner isn't that important anymore. Instead it increase the importance of the pool communication I/O between Gpu and OS.
I do agree that 1 % dev fee for trex isn't justified.
Moreover, the main difference now is that most of the people its mining eth+zil and not just eth
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3070 TI mining test on: June 23, 2021, 06:21:39 PM
just found it. Same as eth.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3070 TI mining test on: June 23, 2021, 05:56:39 PM
I am curious to know the  Hashrate for ETC and for Callisto.
Can  someone that own an Lhr card make a quick test ?
Thanks
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: For Nvidia GPU miners on ETH, why using Phoenix miner instead of T-Rex miner? on: June 21, 2021, 06:04:53 AM
Didz, I am around 61 but with 108 watts because Kwh cost here is 30 cents!

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: For Nvidia GPU miners on ETH, why using Phoenix miner instead of T-Rex miner? on: June 19, 2021, 09:36:32 PM
TRM doesn't work  with the green card  that I have in the same rig. And its 1 % so more than LoL
But you are right for rustpool, may be its better than shardpool ( haven't  tested yet), but both are much better then ezil
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: For Nvidia GPU miners on ETH, why using Phoenix miner instead of T-Rex miner? on: June 19, 2021, 08:06:57 PM
I think that the people learned Phoenix and simply some of them keep using it.

Regarding the 2miner test its an old one from february  and with a very weird test approach , as they use  a "special pool" with very low difficulty 136x lower . That is slighty different from the real condition.

In real mining I choose to use LOLminer simply because its the only one that give you the chance using two different stratum so, I can mine eth + zil without interruption in 2 miners eth  + shardpool zil .

That are , on my view and with the card that I use, the best paying pools.

The alternative is to use Trex and TRM and mining in Ezil, but I found that I make much more Zil (2x) with LOL in 2miners+shardpool.

I tried mining using the stratum passthrough with other miners rather than LOL, but sometimes the passthrough of the pool doesn't work well.

On my small sample 3 mixed rigs, the slower card benefit more than the 3070 in term of number of Zil shares hitted during the zil session.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.26.0 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: June 06, 2021, 10:23:49 PM
CryptoDredge -a <ALGO> -o stratum+tcp://<POOL> -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p <OPTIONS>

your
CryptoDredge.exe -o stratum+tcp://haven.herominers.com:10450 -u WALLETADRESS -p 3070 -a cnhaven

so, just follow the order of the sintax ?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: passive income. on: June 04, 2021, 10:39:14 PM
Passive income is earnings derived from a rental property, limited partnership, or other enterprise in which a person is not actively involved.

So, unless you will purchase a stake in an exixting farm, I will not consider mining a passive income.
Staking ? probably.
Mining,at amateur level ? not so much
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth moving away from POW- Will GPU mining be lucrative on: May 30, 2021, 05:25:02 PM
Asic is around 50 % of the total Eth Nethash.
Around 25  % is made by NVDA GPUs and the last 25 % its AMD.

Around 50 % of the GPUs are " old" GPU like GTX 1080 and AMD Polaris so, not much energy saving.

I expect worlwide miner stopping based on the net profitability so, it will be related to energy cost.

Western Europe, California miners will be  the first to stop

In term  of kind of people, I believe gamers will go first, 1-2 rig miner as well.

People in colocation will follow.

The highlanders ? people running on renewable energy ( Wink ) People already mining something else, miners with the latest cards and low KWh cost
