41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee: The Spokesperson for Cryptocurrency? on: January 08, 2018, 10:25:01 AM
Ok i want to start by saying i have nothing against mr McAfee and i actually always used his products.  Now i do not think he or any one person should represent bitcoin and i mean no-one not even Satoshi. Now i will say that some of his predictions into the insights of crypto currencies have been correct but then again even a broken clock is correct twice a day. So let's try to keep bitcoin as a decentralized currency for the people by the people.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: January 08, 2018, 08:49:38 AM
I must admit that back in the day when bitcoin was first rising i did borrow some cash to buy me a few ant miners. Now they did pay off for themselves off in a few months and that was mostly due to access to free electricity.  Now i wont ever do that again as it could go badly real quick leaving me with debt that i am not ready to accept just because i acted on a hunch.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever attended a bitcoin meetup? on: January 08, 2018, 08:26:44 AM
They actually had a bitcoin convention meeting type of thing here in omaha, Nebraska a few months ago. It was pretty enjoyable if i say so myself.  The area was full mostly of younger folks under 30 i would say. Now this is good news as the Midwest tends to be more conservative than the east or west coast. Now if we can spread this acceptance towards the older folks over 40 it would create more acceptance.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 08, 2018, 07:54:17 AM
Ok see this right here is a perfect example of what the problem is with bitcoin or how op says other crypto currencies are getting a better return.  The fact the price of bitcoin has really not fluctuated more than 10 percent in the last werk is a good thing i say. Then again i am wanting for it to succeed instead of just another day traders money dream.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 08, 2018, 07:01:44 AM
This kind of stories always makes me feel like this is a big makor flaw in bitcoin wallet storage design.  I think you should be able to make word phrases or so forth to recover lost funds stored in wallets. See with like wallets like coinbase or xapo you have some safety i think. Personal wallet storage like on computer or paper wallets kind of leave you screwed if computer fails or you loose paper.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: January 08, 2018, 03:47:12 AM
I have often wondered about this and this aspect makes me nervous when it comes to saving large amounts of bitcoin. Will a attorney be able to say when i die my kids or relatives can take my wallets or will places say nope this cant be done as it is digital goods. I dont want to have no funds lost and any holding company like coinbase to keep the funds.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 03:39:09 AM
Given all the recent changes in china for example how they are banning bitcoin and so forth. I would have to say im impressed with how people want to participate in the bitcoin party even when certain countries try to outlaw it. I also like the fact how all this other companies are also trying to make their own version of a blockchain even if they out right bash on bitcoin.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder's dilemma on: January 08, 2018, 03:20:12 AM
The dilema you are going to face when you try to play the bitcoin game as a investment person is you always have the fear the price could go down. Alot of times people that are new to world of investment want quick returns and sell when the price drops like 5 percent.  Now you also have to consider the tax implications on gains as well.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: January 07, 2018, 07:36:58 PM
The idea of saving bitcoin for my children or grandchildren s future in a nice idea. The thing that scares me is the fact that if something should happen to me how will they be able to get my stuff. I mean i dont want to be like hey kids i got bitcoins saved for you. I am also not sure how something like bitcoins would be put into a will.
50  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddEvenBets.com - Winning 198%, House edge 1%, Provably fair on: January 07, 2018, 02:44:20 AM
Well apart from the person trying to guilt trip us for the cool image. I want to say the new twist on the site is good and i will try it out myself maybe i wouldn't mind if i got me the 500 pay out . Apart from that do you all plan to expand the crypto currencies we can use anytime. I still got other coins i am trying to dispose of or multiply lol.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin Games - Exclusive VTC Casino. Play Roulette, Blackjack, Poker on: January 07, 2018, 12:40:50 AM
I will give this site a try, i got a good amount of vert coin from when i was mining it about 2.5 years ago along with spain coin. Now i personally think you should offer other services like full spectrum sports betting. I agree you all should offer a full selection of demo where players can reset balances and keep on playing.
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Casino For You - cybergames.io on: January 06, 2018, 11:45:55 PM
First of all i must say that i am disappointed that i cant use my internet connection as it is from the United States. Now my cell phone with Canadian service works just fine in getting into the site.  Now has anyone actually tried to take out any bitcoin.  I see they mention withdrawal request are processed and bitcoin received before my coffee gets cold.
53  Economy / Gambling / Re: MONEYPOT alternative discussion thread! no posting will be deleted on: January 06, 2018, 09:45:27 PM
I am glad you started this thread, i had asked questions in the past and the only thing it got me was 2 emails saying my ppst was deleted. Now are we going to get some straight answers as to what is going to happen to funds that are gone. We need some proof like yahoo has asked several times please.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: January 06, 2018, 07:54:54 PM
No one should EVER consider any kind of gambling or lottery as a way to make income or consider it a job. Even when casinos give you a massive bonus of lets say 10 to 1 . You still need to play the requirements of so many times the bonus before you can take out profits. I consider any gambling just a source of fun nothing else.
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io -50BTC Jackpot-30BTC max bet! faucet- 25% rakeback. BTC,ETH,LTC DICE on: January 06, 2018, 05:25:38 PM
I understand that there was some scheduled maintenance was done on the site yesterday.  I am just curious if anyone else is having issues trying to log into the site? I just keep on getting a bad password and nothing happens when i try to reset.  I just created a new account as i had zero balance. I can only imagine someone with a balance going through this.
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: January 06, 2018, 03:20:49 PM
I like how some people mention faucets that offer 1000 satoshi with each claim. The most i have seen is up to 500   satoshi like every hour. Now i am not sure how anyone could say the faucets could be abused in a way that casinos wont allow bitcoin withdrawal. As far a i knew this was all done on the basis of time for each faucet payment for each person.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will fees keep rising to thousands of dollars? on: January 02, 2018, 02:28:01 AM
Ok i must admit just the tought of seeing your post turned my stomach  hardcore.  Who would ever imagine transaction fees in the price range of thousands of dollars.  Now with lightning network being tested and deployed hopefully those high fees are gone.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: January 02, 2018, 02:23:36 AM
There is no way i or anyone else on here can answer what risk you should take on bitcoin with your finances.  Lets say we both earn 2000.00 a month. I might have more bills to pay so i can only invest 10 percent of that check. Now lets say you have no bills and you are just fine investing 40 percent of you check.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9000 Bitcoins in this wallet. on: January 02, 2018, 02:10:33 AM
Ok so some people on here are saying it was used for fractional bitcoin burn. Others are saying it was a mistake by early bitcoin person.  If it was a mistake then i can safely say that this has got to be the worse thing i have seen happening to a person.  That will replace the pizza order with bitcoin and top with the guy who throw out hard drive with 7500 bitcoins.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great News For Bitcoin! Lightening Network First Payment Was Successful! on: January 01, 2018, 03:41:43 AM
This is the innovation that i have been waiting for some time. This will reduce all that back log of transactions and the fee i seen on there of zero wont be long lasting i think. The reason i say that is because if we have 0 fees what will stop people from spamming transactions of letfs say 25 cents just because there is no transaction fees.
