41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: July 20, 2018, 06:34:51 AM
All of the guys defending smaram are just protecting their lil shit investments into BitTube shitcoin.

These Bittube shills saying why are we involving smaram, well he is the one who got himself in this not us. He is not opening his mouth now when he should while he should have kept his mouth shut when he didn't. He said it, so now it. You can't bail out now. If this guy is not involved in the scam, he's probably some attention whore who brags about things he doesn't have.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy GPUs? on: July 20, 2018, 06:26:11 AM
The older generation doesn't disappear immediately. All of the sources point to an August or Sept release for next gen Nvidias so best will be to wait for new launch. Prices are still high and the markwt is not good as it used to be.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: July 18, 2018, 02:38:19 PM
BitTube and everyone associated with it are now confirmed scam.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: July 17, 2018, 07:15:54 AM
it seems that there is no OC possibility like Z9 mini

Does that mean they cant be overclocked at all like a s9 or that they cant be overclocked much? Has anyone tested the power draw at the default 200mhs?

760w at 200-205mhs on youtube. Can any rigs get that or better?
My 12*1050ti rig gives 191h/s at less than 700W.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Octominer vs TB250-BTC D+ on: July 17, 2018, 05:08:39 AM
Tou can't go wrong with any of these two. Octominer is tried and tested but Biostar is a big brand. I'd go for Biostar, high quality and newer model.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BTG any good? on: July 16, 2018, 05:07:37 AM
Garbage, sell it and get a real coin like BTCP at least it offers good privacy features.

don't know about your pick  but btg  is at 28.51

  I mine .43 a day  or 12.26 usd power cost is 31 kwatts  or 3.10 that is a 9.16usd profit a day
With what rig ?

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

It works the other way round in the crypto world.

Guilty until proven innocent. (Also the magic formula to avoid scams)

Lol, I can already see hordes of BitTube bagholders coming here.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: July 15, 2018, 05:04:30 PM

Asking politely? Go read the last........
........ project is easily slandered.

Out.
You should know that most of the guys asking are the ones who didn't invest in the scam, they have nothing to lose or gain but are only trying to help. The only guy now that has something to lose is the BitTube guy. We won't get anything if he posts the picture or not, it's his coin's reputation that is on stake now and it is only in his hands. We are not the one destroying that coin's reputation, he brought it upon himself. It doesn't matter if people bought the scam from his advise or not. He is the one who got himself involved in the scam. He said it, so now own it or he should have kept his mouth shut.

And you....maybe you want to protect your investments in BitTube.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: July 15, 2018, 09:22:35 AM
Man, I can't believe there are at least 4-5 accounts here with an agenda.
All we want from the BitTube guy is a picture of the product he received and we are asking politely. How hard is this ? Or he should at least admit that he was lying or give some explanation why he can't post the picture.

He said it, so own it.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1050Ti and 1050 mining performance on: July 14, 2018, 04:38:10 AM
My 12*1050ti rig gives 190 h/s on eth easily.

i.e. 15.9 Mh/s at 75% power, core doesn't matter, memory 1950mhz.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: July 13, 2018, 01:04:56 PM
He didn't skip a step and neither he planned to ship any kind of product weather it worked or not. Don't invent more conspiracy theories. It went as he planned. Why waste money shipping on stuff that doesn't work, you would still call it a scam. And the thing is why even bother shipping the product even if it works, the way it works here, it's like stealing a candy from a kid. There is no way you can catch him and he knows that.
But I am interested in the story of that BitTube guy. If that shitcoin owner doesn't give answers soon then we should burn that shitcoin to the ground.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Ethereum through Antpool using Linux Ubuntu GPU Rig on: July 13, 2018, 12:47:45 PM
Use HiveOS or simplemining OS instead. They are very easy and no knowledge of linux is required.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: OKKONG,100%可以提升ETH挖矿收益! on: July 13, 2018, 08:53:19 AM
Google Translation:

OKKONG, 100% can improve ETH mining revenue!

OKKONG Control is a very easy to use mining management software, the web interface is simple and clear. The most important thing is that the anti-pumping control maximizes the mining revenue, returns the calculation power of the mining software to your mine address, and displays it in the mine pond with OKKONG as the miner, thus increasing the profit.

How much income can you get with OKKONG software? ?
1 Suppose there are 1000 AMD RX 570 eight-card mining machines,
According to the theoretical value of 220MH/S per mining machine, the profit per day for one mining machine is (220MH/S*0.00007155ETH/day)=0.015741ETH/day. (Yuchi 2018.07.10 7:00pm data)
General mining software pumping is 0.01574* (1%~2%)=0.0001574~0.00003148ETH/day
Then each mining machine extracts the monthly calculation power 0.004722~0.009444ETH
If it is 1000 mining machines, the monthly calculation power is 4.722~9.444Eth.
Converted to RMB, (based on 2018.7.10 7:00PM data for 1Eth=2836RMB), the return water is 13391.592~26783.184 yuan.
2 If double digging is adopted, XVG is taken as an example without affecting the calculation of the main currency, and the daily mining machine earns 3~5 yuan per day.
1,000 mines earn between 9000 and 15,000 yuan a month.
3 promises no charge, according to other household charges, 4 yuan / month / Taiwan, 1000 mining machines can save you 4,000 yuan.
The 1,000 mining machines are conservatively estimated to increase the monthly income by 17391~45000 yuan (depending on the income, it is related to strategy and market conditions, at least 17,000 yuan).

OKKONG is well controlled, alpha version, not yet open for download.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: July 12, 2018, 04:57:00 PM
Wholly crash Batman. This thing is going down like crazy.
I took some screenshot from WTM when I was mining it.

On 5 June it was $11.32/day at 1800h/s (without power cost). $.65/btm

On 6 June it came down to $10.03/day at 1800h/s $.65/btm

On 24 June it was $6.72/day at 4100h/s (this was when Bminer was released).
$.33/btm

On 12 July it is $3.92/day at 4100h/s
$.29/btm
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / PirateBay proxies secretly mining crypto on: July 12, 2018, 09:20:09 AM
This was probably my first encounter with with website that secretly mine crypto from using your PC.

I was downloading a torrent and minimised the browser as there were installation instructions on the download page and after sometime I noticed my laptop getting hot then normal so I opened task manager and saw that CPU Usage was 80%. I closed the tab and then it came down to normal 9%. If I was on PC then it would be even more difficult to notice.

This is the proxy but they probably all do this now.

Why are you calling it a token ? Is it a mineable token ?

Now, you should elaborate how your project will work because many time in the past this has been tried but to no success.

Will you implement Seti@home or Folding@home with in POW protocol ?  Is this like Gridcoin ?

So far nothing concrete has been revealed by you.

I like it when this topic comes on first page.

I knew it was a scam when I saw that Monero logo on the board. This is against mass production profit. Companies try to save every penny they can and single dot of ink can cost a lot. Just look at antminers, they look ugly but deliver what they promise, if it's not necessary it won't be there.

When he said that all of the sample are sent to the factory, i was confirmed that this is a scam. I work in import/export biz and one of the standard practice in every field is to keep at least 2 (or one) perfect sample with you so you can match with the shipment to see if it is according the requested specification/quality.

Lastly those videos were too shady and almost laughable.
If I (or anyone) had such a revolutionary product, I would make long videos and would not hide my face.

The price was also too good to be true. Seriously, roi of less than a month and you think he will sell them to you ? It doesn't can't exist in the first place ! Those big corporations like Bitmain have huge R&D department trying to figure out how to mine the algo and you think some guy on the forum will sell you the magical miner.

People are grossly overestimating FPGA's capabilities. Just don't hit the same stone twice. Live and learn, I got scammed in the past that's why I am more cautious now.

Thanks Ill give that a go. Does the VGA converter have to be the powered type?
I am using one vga to hdmi converter since my MoBo doesn't have vga port. It should look like this https://www.amazon.com/Benfei-Gold-Plated-Projector-Chromebook-Raspberry/dp/B075GZ8DX7/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1530988826&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=vga+to+hdmi&psc=1

Do I need to add molex power to motherboard ?
I will add 9 RX 570 with two 1000W PSU.

Yes... two Molex and one SATA power connector.

But I have powered risers. I read somewhere that it is a bad combination, either use powered risers or use molex power from MoBo.

Also if I do power it, do I need to power sata too ?
