41  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Calling iluvbitcoins....are you scamming me or what? on: January 16, 2021, 05:12:25 PM
Sorry guys, I’ve been a bit off lately and completely forgot about it for some reason.
I knew there was 12 hours between his response and for some reason thought it wasn’t going to happen since it took that long, plus my thread is from Jan 7.

@someone
I don’t gamble. I resold tips for a while.

@someone about my state
I’m doing fine, it’s just that I’ve been very stressed lately and trouble sleeping because of it. It might have affected me thinking the deal isn’t going to happen. Nevertheless not an excuse.

You can check the btc addy and see it’s untouched, I didn’t even know I got it.
42  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Calling iluvbitcoins....are you scamming me or what? on: January 16, 2021, 04:37:45 PM
I’m at work so not reading, will read later.

Often times people contact me about a trade and then don’t reply anymore.
You didn’t reply the whole day so I assumed you changed your mind about the trade.
Anyways, I should have logged in to check, my bad.

Unfortunately, it seems facebook ads sat on my account right now so I sent you only 75$, I’ll refund you the 25$ when I get home, just send me your addy.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: January 13, 2021, 06:46:09 PM
Hi there!
I've been out of the game for a few years now. If I recall correctly there was a 10k Lumen/Stellar giveaway or something close to it back in 2016-2017. Does anyone remember how it was hosted? I can't seem to find where I received mine  Roll Eyes

I think it never happened although it was promised.
We got some 1000 or something first and the rest was never given.
Did it happen later on?

I got here to ask the same question  Cheesy

would this not have been the winning bid? as it was the last one before the 48hour cut off? the other one was almost 30 mins after the 48 hours ended.

Right now the countdown timer says it ended 5 hours and 25 minutes ago.
Since it's 11.40 PM forum time, it means it was supposed to end in 6.15 PM
Since there was a bid from Steamtyme at 06:09:28 PM he prolonged the auction for 30 minutes
Quote
Sniping: Bids made less than 30 minutes before the end of the auction extend the auction for 30 more minutes.
After 06:30:57 PM there were no more bids to trigger the sniping rule.

50  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can i get wallet.aes.json from Wallet identifer? Lost password on: January 09, 2021, 12:19:07 AM
There was an old discussion about this and the OP tried all the previous ways to get the wallet.aes.json file but none of them worked.
That's after the 2017 upgrade.

Here's the Topic link: Obtaining blockchain.info wallet.aes.json - process changed?

I also get the same loops as OP. E-mail sent, authorize, new e-mail, new authorize. It seems like it's a dead end.

Blockchain teams answer

"Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing. Unfortunately we are unable to help recover or reset passwords. This is not a matter of policy but simply that it is impossible for us to reset a wallet's password due to the way the file encryption is designed. Please try every possible password combination you may have used.

You can use the legacy mnemonic to reveal the password at the time of recovery phrase creation here,
https://login.blockchain.com/wallet/recover-wallet Keep in mind the mnemonic recovery phrase only reveals the password at the time of phrase creation, if the wallet’s password has been changed since the recovery phrase was created then the information it provides may be inaccurate and out of date.

The older version of our wallet has been discontinued. This transition period was ongoing throughout most of 2016, and now upgrading your wallet to the latest version is required to access funds. You can learn more about the latest version via this link: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/categories/115000851246-Wallet-Functions.

Wallet.aes.json backups can be imported here: https://login.blockchain.com/wallet/import-wallet. Please note, this process does require the correct wallet password in order to decrypt the file.

If you do not have the correct password or an accurate recovery phrase, then access to the wallet and any funds it may contain has been lost.
