Why won't anyone deny or confirm then that Brandon Casten is possibly the new owner of swcpoker or always was a partner? Maybe no association at all? Why won't you gag on an enormous dick until your eyes roll back in your head?

The last news I had about Micon he was facing prosecution. While I think this is wrong in every way, it still triggers a honeytrap alert in my mind. It wasn't even the feds. It was Nevada. And they basically accepted a pretty weak plea deal that didn't even get Micon in jail.

Thats great. Don't know if I should congratulate him , but this is definitely much better than jail time or the punishment he could have got, looking at the trend for laws against cases involving bitcoin. Any word from him , if he will leave US again to operate the site from Antigua ?
Probation terms will probably limit his travel. Even if he was allowed to travel during that period, it probably wouldn't be to do exactly what he's on probation for doing.

Meh. That sucks, but that's very good as this kind of deal goes. I'm glad Micon made the right choice here. Anything that doesn't involve any chance of jail and doesn't result in being a convicted felon is a good deal.

In this day and age, I don't see how ANYONE would even consider buying drugs using the computer. I don't either, but you have a vastly inflated notion of how prudent people are if you don't realize lots of people actually did just that and continue to do it even after recent events.

I believe they did confiscate all his computers and drives back in Feb during the raid, so they must have something on him from that, otherwise they wouldn't have charged him with it. I wouldn't take that as a certainty. Once you've launched a huge armed raid on someone and seized their shit, you're almost locked into prosecuting because if you don't, you're probably getting sued yourself. I can't really judge what's going on at the moment. It doesn't look good for Micon, but then nothing involving being criminally prosecuted ever looks good. I hope he knows what he's doing coming back to face this. Possibly, he found out the extent of their case and his defense is unimpressed enough with it they're willing to take their chances. Or they have reason to expect a good deal. But it could be a grim situation where he was just too broke to either stay in Antigua or defend himself and just had no real option other than to come back and face the music. I hope for the best.

"Hundreds or thousands of players is a success, not 30 or 40" Look at all the old players who aren't there any more. There would probably be hundreds if they hadn't left in disgust. I notice bar zombies are now banned, maybe two years after it would have made any difference. Too little, too late.

Yes, he purposefully made it not strong enough. Its extremely easy to detect if collusion is happening or not. Its called common sense. if you see the same 3 players all playing together at multiple tables at a time, THEY ARE COLLUDING!
ITS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION. You're fucking retarded. When there's only 2 or 3 tables on the whole fucking site, anyone who wants to multitable is going to be playing at them. You're fucking retarded for commenting about a website you never actually used, dipshit. A poker site isn't a website, you fucking idiot. Just shut up and quit embarrassing yourself.

Uuummm, this stinks if true, to think I supported you with btc.
See post #1658 So you mean a poker player doesn't win every single time they play? Wow. Scandalous. Ever consider he might have been staked? Nah, that never happens. . .

I see that your software is STILL running the blind clock during breaks. This is horrible and has been brought to your attention numerous times. Is there an ETA on when this very basic bug will be fixed?
This. It's particularly goddamn annoying in the HORSE tournament, where it basically means the tournament completely skips the holdem portion the second time around, every single time.

Most of them(70%) are 5 chips NL holdem freerolls, there are 2-3 15 chips NL holdem freerolls per day. Additionally, sometimes there are pot limit omaha, 2-7 draw, 5 card draw, horse, badeucey and etc. freerolls there. Hope you enjoy them and my answer. These freerolls are a great, no risk way to learn the new exotic games the new Seals has and maybe pick up a chip or two. If you always wondered about badugi/badeucey/badacey or have nostalgia for 5 card draw, they're good fun.

I fixed it just by switching the networking from "NAT" to "Bridged Adapter". I left the RAM at 2 GB and don't think I've ever looked at the video settings. Well, this worked. And it was just that. I didn't change the RAM or video settings.

They just put up an updated version of swcsetup.exe on the website that is supposed to fix the problems that XP users are having.
It also fixes the UTC clock issue for everyone else.
Anyone with XP confirm whether it worked or not?
Nope. Same shit.

has anyone else had any success with virtualbox? swc support aren't responding to me.
I got it working under Windows 7, sort of. But unfortunately, that's too much of a pig for me to run on my older machines practically, and it lags way too much. Doesn't appear to work under XP or Vista. I just endlessly get the "Click OK" dialogue box and it shuts itself down.
|
|
|
Installed Vista on a new virtual machine. Now the client comes up and doesn't do anything, just says Client must be restarted and shuts itself down when you click Okay.

I uninstall, reinstall, and then when I try to boot, absolutely nothing happens. No error, nothing.
Task manager indicates "PokerUpdate.exe" runs for about a second and then immediately crashes silently.
Running it from the command line also does nothing.
try to uninstall all of it and then re-download the installer. This is after doing that.

Because cryptos cannot be traced easily and transactions are not reversible. They seize the coins without prior warning. It is like freezing your bank accounts. They will return your cryptos (unfreeze you bank account) when you are proven to be innocent. They can say they have the legal authority to seize without warning. That doesn't mean they can actually do it.

How come you don't run .exe?
Security, peace of mind, holiness, sanity. I gave up on windows many years ago and I'm just not into tha proprietary stuff anymore. Long live free software! How is Flash less proprietary?
