41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It doesn't look like on: February 21, 2020, 07:45:57 PM
It doesn't look like Bitcoin is going to go over 10k plus till May gets here, I think what we will keep seeing is rise and fall between 8k and 10k, the best way is to keep taking profit, buying low and reselling over and over, Im just worried what will happen once halving is over and the Almighty Halving Hype died off, there is nothing making the price surge presently than this upcoming halving, what do you think?
I think the whole crypto world is waiting for this event.Naturally, everyone expects growth, but any event should be doubted. Therefore, we will be optimistic and will store bitcoin until this time.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be decentralized if the Internet is centralized on: January 05, 2020, 09:32:56 PM
As your argument says so, Bitcoin is also centralized partially in nodes located in China. Apply the same logic/analogy to internet. These partial centralization is only among ISPs, that conform to a gateway to reach other parts of the world. Without them, it would be hard to lay your own cables and build infrastructure that would interconnect all the Bitcoin nodes. And even we are partially 'centralized' because of ISPs purpose to run our network, they still provide us freedom to what we do and connect to on the internet since it is our right, and doesn't really affect the decentralization of the network.

Well, everything depends on the person's point of view. I believe that the public Internet brings a certain level of centralization to Bitcoin, as ISPs have a final say over what we can access. Of course, using TOR, VPN and other privacy solutions helps at some extent with connecting to the Bitcoin blockchain in a decentralized manner. But we all know nothing is perfect. Even Bitcoin's PoW consensus is centralized as Chinese miners dominate a large portion of it. The best way to achieve full-scale decentralization with Bitcoin is to use Satellites or personal networks. It'll be quite difficult to maintain the integrity of the Blockchain by relying on mesh networks, but I'm sure someone will come up with a solution for this.

Bitcoin will continue to carry on regardless of the current conditions of the Internet. But the Internet's dominance from worldwide governments and powerful corporations gives some concerns about how Bitcoin will be able to maintain its decentralization for the foreseeable future. I hope that I'm wrong and Bitcoin would turn out to maintain itself decentralized for a very long time. We could combine different techniques/methods in order to achieve censorship-resistance like never before. Just my opinion Smiley
Let's think about how to decentralize the Internet. In any case, the Internet will not disappear, and the fact that I am engaged in bitcoin mining is unlikely to know my provider. It is not physically possible to build a decentralized Internet. And does it even make sense?Perhaps not exactly this but clearly improving the Internet is engaged in this company :https://noia.network
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 09:20:55 PM
Quote
"I say if you do not become a millionaire in the next 10 years, then it’s your own fault."

It's a big statement! An 18 year old male who grew up in an affluent family, is not a good fit for making such statement! Becoming a millionaire doesn't make you eligible for such statements!

People come from different backgrounds, different financial situations and different family situations! To get a different perspective of life, speak to a slum boy someday!
Yes I also think that this guy is clearly not from a poor family because at an early stage of development of bitcoins was able to invest such a large amount of money is not clear what.At that time, it really could only be done by someone who has well-off parents. In any case, very happy that there are such brave guys!)Now I'm thinking about becoming a millionaire myself Wink Cool
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 05, 2020, 09:07:32 PM
I've never had any dealings with anyone in the Telegram about money before.Any message from someone even indirectly hinting at making a profit, immediately forces me to send this person to the ban.Alas, it is a pity that You fell for such a trick.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin will move up if there is a war with Iran on: January 05, 2020, 08:55:22 PM
Let's reflect.Even if the war starts, what will cause demand for bitcoin? In fact, this is a difficult topic and how can you be happy with the price increase if there is violence and murder somewhere?Let's not think about the price but about the fact that the war does not start.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: January 04, 2020, 10:33:01 PM
It's actually true that Bounty and Airdrop are not worth it due to those reasons
Likewise, it is up to individuals to choose what they want.

Crypto currency is decision based, so decide if you are in or out is the best plan
I'll tell you that not everyone is able to make decisions.Yes, many bounties do not pay anything but let's not forget that at least 1 out of 10 projects will definitely pay adequately. You just need to spend more time analyzing and listening to your intuition. And everything will be fine!
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have created a list of 70 social media based on blockchain or tokenized on: January 04, 2020, 10:24:42 PM
Actually a good list. There will be free time I will study everything thoroughly but in the meantime I can say that I like the sapien platform.I've been following her for a long time.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 04, 2020, 10:21:02 PM

There are already tons of alt-coins out there and most of them are dying.
That's exactly the reason mainly lies in the overabundance of projects that have interesting ideas but do not yet have a product as such. Many investors simply joined the purchase of already released promising altcoins. This is less risky than investing your money in an ICO.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: January 04, 2020, 10:11:22 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
The cryptosphere is poorly regulated. Many investors can't get their money back not to mention the bounty participants who also lost a lot of time on promotion. It is very difficult to protect yourself at the moment (at least for a bounty participant).Investors still have many more options for their security.Recently, I'm sure that many people know this, investors have been participating in IEO on Binance and KuCoin.I think investing in this way the risks are minimal although not excluded.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 30, 2019, 08:23:52 PM

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 30, 2019, 08:11:28 PM
I've been discussing Bitcoin in a couple of forums, and I'm shocked by the vitriol and anti-Bitcoin passion that I'm finding. It seems that the mass media FUD has turned away the very people who could benefit most from Bitcoin. In contrast, Bitcoin is becoming stronger every day, and is moving towards becoming a store of wealth, and it seems to be moving into the ambit of the rich and the knowledgeable. I'm giving up on Bitcoin evangelism, and concentrating on fattening my wallet.

I thought that Bitcoin might become one of the currencies used by people when the fiat systems collapse, but I think this will only be a minor use. I believe that fiat cash will be used for a while, and silver coins could become a longer term solution. Of course it all depends on the cryptos that are introduced by the various governments, and whether there will be any trust in them.
It seems to me that the main benefit from bitcoin will not be us but the next generation in 50 or 100 years.Bitcoin is something that many are afraid of like fire. Therefore, the resistance is of course very huge. But we still have a long way to go.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: December 30, 2019, 08:06:23 PM
As per several news and analysts ,
Bitcoin will touch 10k in the month of January.

I'm tired of these analysts.Yes, the price should go up, but it will not be in January, but most likely throughout the year.I have high hopes for 2020.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T MISS! Proof Bitcoin/Crypto Nowhere Near Bottom! on: December 30, 2019, 08:02:08 PM
Don't lose sight of the BIG BEARISH picture! So many people are calling the bottom right now, but the big picture analysis says that the bottom is NOT in.

upload image

This discussion about the Bottom is a discussion that begins and takes a long time to discuss and never ends in any plausible conclusion. When the price was $3300 they said the Bottom was $2500 and others said the Bottom was $1000. oddly enough that the price went up to $12000 and when the price was already over $10000 the same people who They said the Bottom was $1000 They started saying that the Bottom was $3300. I know technical analysis is not crystal ball, but most of the time I see charts with many lines and all to prove that the price will fall and then the price goes up a lot.
Bitcoin is an incredible invention. It was a 8 miracle of the world.Personally, my opinion is that regardless of the schedule, bitcoin will still fall very much in price and then it will cost a lot of money.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many big powers agains crypto on: December 26, 2019, 08:34:45 AM
I just read this article and it really startled me. Seems "the big boys" are not betting on the crypto horse and would hope to see it die out.
Guess that is no news but when social media platforms are applying this type of censorship it crosses some limits in my book.
https://news.bitcoin.com/speculation-abounds-regarding-youtubes-removal-of-crypto-content/
Is this the beginning for a new crypto exclusive youtube clone?
It seems to me that if this continues many crypto bloggers will simply leave YouTube for less centralized video platforms
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: December 26, 2019, 08:23:44 AM
When you use an ATM, you withdraw cash and then spend it at the bakery, supermarket or whatever. If you use an ATM to get bitcoins then what do you do? Nothing at all, you can't pay anything with it. So why should a buyer use an ATM when it is more convenient to do it online and cheaper. Likewise, if you want to sell bitcoins, why would a typical user go to an ATM to sell his bitcoins?
There may also be a cost that makes these countries unprofitable for companies. If you're paid in BTC and can pay everything in BTC then the question won't be no more.

Well you can also use the Bitcoin ATM to withdraw cash.
Let's say you're visiting a country and you need cash in the local currency, all you need is a Bitcoin ATM. No bank, no credit cards...
Yes, in fact, for tourists, the presence of bitcoin ATMs would save a lot of time and effort. Suppose I was on vacation in one country and I just could not buy local currency for settlements. As a result, through a third party I bought this currency, but lost a decent amount on the exchange .If there was a Bitcoin baknomat in this country, then it would be a huge happiness for me at that time. How efficient the location of such ATMs in the countries of the 3rd world is, I don’t know. But if people have small incomes, then why do they need such ATMs at all. Agree?
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2019, 08:15:13 AM
I don't want to open up another gold vs bitcoin thread. I'm just curious because I read an article that discussed whether we should be preparing ourselves for an upcoming recession by buying bitcoin or gold:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/preparing-for-a-recession-bitcoin-or-gold/

Thoughts?

I think the next recession won't be as big as the 2008 one (which, to me was a depression). Hence I'll stick with Bitcoin for now.
The fact is that it is absolutely unknown how this recession will pass.If it is too hard, it is possible that cryptocurrencies will have a chance, although I do not really believe in it.In fact, cryptocurrencies are a panacea for the world economy, but it is difficult to say which way the pendulum will swing.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 26, 2019, 08:08:17 AM

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?
In fact, if you take the basic concept of many cryptocurrencies, then wealth should be distributed evenly. That is, it follows that at least the poor should not be.As regards crimes, both how they were committed by people, they will continue to be committed. Humanity cannot get rid of this ailment. As well as alcohol abuse. On each label with a bottle of vodka it is written: it is harmful to Your body. But still everyone uses it.So the point is absolutely not in the development of the cryptocurrency industry, but in the absence of the mind of many people.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 26, 2019, 08:02:27 AM
It has gone up around $800, do you think they could run it up and then I would come down before January 1 before the new year. Or they will not come in to play?  I’m waiting for some money to clear to buy some. And I don’t know right now is the best time to buy
If we could know what the price would be we would all be incredibly rich).I am a member of many crypto related groups and I can assure you that opinions are absolutely contradictory everywhere.1 half is sure that the price will be higher and the second half is clearly sure that the price will be lower.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the faith of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 26, 2019, 07:59:02 AM
"if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency"

Well, bitcoin is already traceable. In fact, you can look at the transactions being made right now through block explorer sites like Blockchain.com[1]. Hence why you mostly see funds stolen by hackers being stationary, as they definitely wouldn't want to be sending the funds on exchanges as this would most definitely expose who they are.

[1] https://www.blockchain.com/btc/unconfirmed-transactions
That's right. If someone steals bitcoin, it will be sent to at least some mixer. And from there it will easily go to the exchange.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2019, 07:46:41 AM
1- Are you a daily trader? who buy BTC at loew price and sell it with higher price at the end of the day, If no why?
2- Are you a BTC holder? who bought BTC and hold it for months, Years to be in profit?
3- you tell me.
I'm not a trader but I have bitcoin. And the strategy You follow has no logic. Not always at the end of the day the price of bitcoin is higher than in the morning.
