41  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: January 11, 2020, 10:46:58 PM
I haven't much plan but I wouldn't be selling them off in one go after I held on for them hoping for a new ath. Probably I'd just try to some trading along the small movements.

There are still several things that can happen, especially with the uncertainty now with the US-Iran conflict and the associated oil and goods hike.
Personally, if I had the idea of selling all the assets, I would have already. I am not here for 2020 halving. Longtime residents have already been in this market for a long time and will continue as long as it survives. Halving is simply a natural innovation that should be in the market and also a little more gain if it influences the price in the right direction. Just relax and trade as usual.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 11, 2020, 10:20:31 PM
what you guys do to avoid this biggest cons on full time trading
Everyone has the right to rest, of course, but when the trader rests, his eye is on the phone this time. lol If you feel that way, then you really do not love your job. It is like someone force you to sit behind that desk and do not let you move. After spending a lot of time behind the monitor, even friendships are already behind the monitor. That is why, do as you like, if you are tired of working behind the monitor as a trader all day, engage in something you are not bored with.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins profit ... Which altcoin is best for profits? on: January 10, 2020, 10:21:03 PM
As which coin i need to invest in it.
ETH and BNB are altcoins which in my opinion have very good potential lately, especially altcoin BNB really shows a significant increase, many investors are investing BNB and many traders are trading these coins.
Personally, I do not think of an exchange coin (please do not tell me that BNB is not exchange based and that it can survive without Binance) as an investment. If you think of using it in Binance, that is something else, but the other option does not make sense to me. Also, check out LTC instead of checking out others: its price has gone up by more than %9 in the last 24 hours.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Trend for 2020. on: January 10, 2020, 09:41:03 PM
There seems to be a little decrease in price lately. For me, I can't say there will be an increase in price or decrease in price generally in this year 2020. I am simply looking at the bright side as anything can happen.
Hopefully, I see a price increase of about 15k at the middle of the year, then dump. Then another pump towards the year ending. Fingers crossed: I am positive.
Since this increase is due to HYIP, IMO the price will increase until halving and then there will be a drop. Then by the end of the year, I believe we will see a price that is at least worth the mining value. Actually, we can see that the price increase in passing halvings is bigger, but I am trying to be a little more realistic in this regard, and hopefully there will be a price increase like the last halvings.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Question about inflation and debt. on: January 10, 2020, 09:16:50 PM
If a random country is in debt, is printing money a good way to pay it off at the expense of the citizens?

For example, lets say you owe an entity $100. If you print an extra $100 bill you pay off your debt, but unbeknownst to the entity the $100 that they lent you is now worth less.

Would the barter system be a good way of combating this?
The money in everyone's pocket has no value. Look at the US, despite being the only producer of the leading currency, it owes trillions. Well, I ask you: can not government pay by producing as much as it wants? It can, but at the end the USD falls repeatedly below its value. Moreover, this result is such that in the US, this may even cause starvation in any other country with a small economy.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ruined my account through multiple mistakes on: January 10, 2020, 08:49:01 PM
I made mistakes too early on and still do.  My advice is do long term trading rather than day trading.

Just buy some Bitcoin and hold for a year or so.  You will see profits if you do that.
Yeah, first try to calm down for a while. Then try to understand where and why you made mistake. If you understand these mistakes, think about how you can fix them. Otherwise, as long as you can not see your mistakes, you will always lose because of the same mistakes. And when you are ready to trade again, experiment with smaller amounts. If everything goes well, you can earn much more than your money. Also, do not trade to earn your money back, but because you think it is a good position.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Strategy: Withdraw 50% ETH and looking to invest in Altcoin on: January 10, 2020, 01:57:34 AM
Now, I would like to include the titan coin in my portfolio: $5K

6k$ = BNB
4k$ = EOS
5k$ = TTN
5k$ = ETH
5K$ = BTC

My strategy is to sell 50% eth coins and invest in TTN Coin. What’s your suggestions experts?
I would like to know your honest review and suggestion on my decision.

Thanks in Advance.

I can not understand how can you trust the new altcoin more than ETH. At a time when the market struggles to increase, you should not invest in a much weaker altcoin instead of ETH. Or deposit additional money to add it to the portfolio, otherwise, by withdrawing from ETH you will reduce your future earnings by 50%.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ before a big rise ? on: January 10, 2020, 01:38:24 AM
Why are many online price forecasts saying BTC will dip to $5k before the halving?
Do you predict the same too?
I'm not a pro trader, just asking out of curiosity
I guess the price can go down to $6.5k, not $5k for now. Already a few days ago, the increase was expected to reach $9k and regress a little, and it was. After that, I do not know exactly where to go, we will see this as price continue to break the support. But, do not worry, we will see a better price until halving. Such decreases are normal before each increase.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going beyond $14,000 before May, history repeating itself on: January 10, 2020, 01:08:41 AM
I also think the price will be affected by halving. But not because of the past years, but because of the increase in mining value. Because, when we make long term forecasts with TA in this uncertain market, there is a high probability that we will not get the expected results. That is why the mining value is the best way to calculate the actual value of a coin, and if mining expense doubles, its value should also be doubled.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 10, 2020, 12:46:49 AM
I believe that the time will come, slowly the altcoin starts to crawl up now and my hope is that by the end of the year it will be like this last year. The number of short positions fell to a historic low. This suggests that the bears have exhausted their strength, and perhaps soon we will see the growth! I hope so.
I do not think we have any choice but to hope like you in this uncertain market. Indeed a little more than that, because the probability for this year increase is more than last year.
There may not be a rise in alts as it was in 2017 BTC all time high. The situations are different now and the world is in a type of recession and investments might be only in Bitcoin. The projects which might become a reality for common people, only those may get money from BTC and may rise again.
Increase may not be the same as in 2017, but I do not think it would be carefree with the altcoins if BTC increases noticeably. What we have seen lately is a slightly different scenario, and the remarkable increase will not repeat this.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i presently feel about bounties on: January 10, 2020, 12:19:55 AM
I'm starting to think its better to promote bounty projects with low allocation like 30k to 50k because they never failed to pay hunters, even if these projects find it hard to met softcap it will be easy to pay bounty rewards, this might be because of bear market but gone are those day of thousands dollar worth bounty rewards unless new wave of market movement takes place
Obviously, the amount allocated for the bounty should not be an indication of whether we should join it. But I also agree with you partly because I have spent a long time in this sector. The bounties that meet the criteria everyone wants to participate in often allocate less. However be careful of this, good projects allocate less amount for bounty, but not all projects that allocate less amount are good.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum after hard fork Istanbul on: January 08, 2020, 10:40:03 PM
I am convinced that if Ethereum hardfork succeeds, ETH will be the best investment in 2020. Unfortunately, after so many unsuccessful attempts it is hard to say what will happen this time. We just have to wait and keep our fingers crossed that everything will be fine. When hardfork succeeds and investors regain confidence, the new ATH will be within a few months.
AFAIK it will take a little more time for the new update to be fully functional. But, I guess it is the staking theme that interests the majority in this update anyway. As I understand from most thoughts, everyone thinks that there will be an extraordinary reward in comparison with others. However, as I have looked at a few places, this payout will change between approximately 4-10%. And IMO, expected was more than that.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of Crypto Winter and what to expect from now on on: January 08, 2020, 10:23:47 PM
The crypto winter of 2018 and 2019 did flushed out many nonsense projects and the market has significantly matured over the last few years, it's exactly what i expect from the long crypto bear market.

In this year i expect accelerating crypto asset adoption and the key building blocks will come into place for crypto to achieve it's long term potential of revolutionizing how value can be stored and send around the world.
We can easily see that the development in terms of adoption continues unceasingly. The only issue with the crypto market is about the bloody prices, especially in altcoins. But, since 2018 the thoughts are positive about 2020. Every time prices went down, the majority kept their last bullet for this year. Indeed, we all know that nothing is certain. Nevertheless, expectations and thoughts are positive.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there anything else that I should be looking for or are these the only factor on: January 08, 2020, 09:19:52 AM
Are you fully satisfied with all of the altcoins you have chosen? Is not there an issue or something? IMO you could also add the long available altcoins such as ETH or XMR. Also I did not see BTC on your list. As far as I can see, you have not fully checked the market, and these shortcomings may be factors that will make you lose or gain less in the future.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Preferred altcoin for bullrun? on: January 08, 2020, 09:04:05 AM
Seems like we have started heading towards one more bull run now, as the value of most of the crypto has increased by almost $800 and those who have already missed out the bull run of 2017 will consider this as an opportunity. But which will be your favorite altcoin to invest this time? It was Ripple and ETH last time which rocked throughout the bull run last time but this time will it be the same or some other coin like TRON and XLM or else a different altcoin?
Indeed, it is not convincing that there will be an increase as in 2017. Since 2017, we have aged three more years, which means a lot. How much is it possible for the price to reach $20k in 3 weeks as in 2017? Anyway, but I believe the increase will happen, and top altcoins will gain more value from this increase. IMO ETH, BCH, LTC are far below the value they deserve.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will any new project will do payment with ETH ? on: January 08, 2020, 08:09:09 AM
If they make payments with ETH the loss is themselves. Because they feel insecure about the tokens they make.
The profit will be on the side of the investor and the bounty hunter who only have to do the dumper all they want because there is already a market.
They should still pay using their own tokens, and must find various innovations on how to get good capital. Not just relying on coins or other existing tokens.
Will someone who wants to create a project based on ETH will create it unless he believes it? Were the others better than ETH? The price of NEO, EOS and TRX was lower last year. Actually, they can also accept payments with stablecoins. But, "the small land in the middle of the ocean is only good for a short time to relax, then you should return to the ocean again".
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Website that will tell you how rich you really are? on: January 08, 2020, 07:29:22 AM
Hi community members,
please do you know about some website where you put how many coins do you have and it will show at what number of richest addresses you belong? For top altcoins and Bitcoin? I mean for example you have 10 Ethereum and it will tell you that you are the 1000th richest person/address in the network.  Wink
I have never heard of a site like you said, and I doubt it will. The maximum we can reach today is rich lists. But that is much weaker than you say.

an aplication like blockfolio can help you. If you have mobile you can install it just search blockfolio in google playstore.
I dont have any idea about the webiste but i suggest that app i use that application since 2017 and it was really a big help.
Does Blockfolio display you how rich you are? If we are talking about the same app, I do not think it has such a feature.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - The year of true DEX adoption? on: January 07, 2020, 12:21:47 AM
if 2020 truly is the YEAR of DEX's? Most decentralized exchanges today, is hardly used, but they are constantly being worked on, and made easier for the average guy to use.
I do not think hacking will help DEXes become more attractive. If so, the community would have switched to DEXes a long time ago. Check out the list, how many DEX are in top 10? The ranking will not change this year as well.

Blocknet caught my attention lately, and their website: https://blockdx.com/ made me believe for the first time in a long time, that it's the future.

Anyone else feeling the same? Sure a DEX doesn't have FIAT on/off ramps, but you don't really need it, when you can trade your coins for stable coins, and use them all over the world basically.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 06, 2020, 11:59:07 PM
When I buy BNB, HT, KCS coins I don't look for the use cases! Because they are from the most trusted crypto exchanges! You don't need use cases from these coins if you only invest to make profits!
One of the first lessons we learned when we first started cryptocurrency trade: Do not trust exchanges. Actually, I know that things do not work from this way in the market, but I also know the possibility of an unexpected fall may happen at an unexpected time. IMO there should be more logical reason to create demand. Because we are all aware of the issues faced by exchanges such as hacking.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a cell phone on: January 06, 2020, 11:37:20 PM
Firstly, how will this affect the phone? Why would I weaken the phone for a token we do not know how much it will cost? Besides, as I understand we can mine just a token called Pi. If mining other coins/tokens are not possible with this app, will not the price of token be lower because of easy accessibility? So, what about its product? Mining by phone or?
