41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 04, 2020, 11:29:49 AM
This is good news because there are a lot of crypto enthusiasts in India and their government uplifting cryptocurrency ban can affect the market. The Coronavirus spread has an indirect effect on crypto since big countries' economies had been affected.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 10:25:50 AM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations

Investors define a good project as a project that brings them profit. Face the truth that none of these investors invested in a project due to technical aspect, everyone is after profit. There are a lot of good projects out there but due to limited budget were not able to survive the market.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 04, 2020, 06:37:06 AM
This is true as of now since cryptocurrency is not yet fully adapted and is volatile in nature, it doesn't fit to be used as the main currency. Time will tell whether people will still be using fiat as a currency in the near future or whether if crypto will replace or if not will be an alternative to fiat. Technology is emerging fast we don't know what possible things might happen in the future.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: March 04, 2020, 06:10:16 AM
Whether people in crypto try hard or not, cryptocurrency adaptation will come sooner or later than we think. We are in the age where technology is advancing and everything phases out really fast. People are open to innovation and quickly adapt to it. What crypto need is more exposure or for bigger companies starting to consider blockchain technology or crypto, once a successful company will be able to implement crypto in their normal business cycle and prove that it boosts business opportunity other things might follow.
45  Local / Pilipinas / Re: If regulators are corrupt, is there any chance crypto will grow in PH on: March 04, 2020, 05:39:03 AM
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 04, 2020, 12:12:19 AM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

Lucky you. It varies on what project you are going to promote 14 weeks is a long time and most likely participants start to worry once project starts extending their campaign over and over again.

Nothing compares to the bounties during 2017 where most would only last for a week or two, 2 months the longest and is truely rewarding.

49  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 03, 2020, 04:14:28 AM
Coronavirus had affected a lot of countries already if a countries economy is affected so as banks. There had been major shut down and flights were canceled due to the fear of the spread. It may not totally cause banks to collapse but it will surely affect it's normal business operation due to the panic the virus is causing. Such epidemia shut downs businesses, travels, tourism and a lot more.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 03, 2020, 03:44:35 AM
Well, there are so many ways for you to protect your money or account from hackers. I will list down all of the ways I know to prevent hackers from your account.
1. It would help if you created a strong password - do not create a simple password, try to put capital letters and characters or symbol on your password.
2. Add 2FA on your account - it is very recommended for everyone, once the hacker knows your account information, it will still be hard for them to access it because of 2FA.
3. Protect your computer - The main reason why we get hacked is because of an unsecured network, do not click untrusted advertisements or links to prevent viruses on your computer.
4. Keep your account on your self - only means do not share it with anyone.

Those 4 are my ways to secure my account; if you know more ideas on how to secure your account from hackers, feel free to comment is so we will all be benefited from it.

It's a great list and I believe this is the ABC's of securing your account. Having a strong password mainly a combination of alpha-numeric, a symbol and capitalization is a must, and do not use a password that is somehow can be related to your personal information such as name, date of birth, address and etc.

I would also like to reiterate to have an alternate e-mail, different for each purpose to avoid losing all control over your accounts just in case a breach occurs, or something you can put as a back-up to recover your account.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! Stop doing these bounties! on: March 03, 2020, 03:26:01 AM
Many bounty hunters do not consider projects and look for projects that are listed and have the probability of paying. Joining a campaign nowadays is like a gamble since you take a risk either of you will get paid or not, is it legitimate or not, or if will it have a value in the future or not. It's each participant's discretion where to join. What bounty hunters should learn is to be responsible not to promote scam bounties since this kind of project kills the whole crypto community, investors had already been weary on investing their money in crypto due to the numbers of scam projects in crypto.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: March 03, 2020, 02:48:04 AM
Pulev is severely disadvantaged in this match imo. Just the fact that Joshua could be said to be still in his primes while Pulev just got out of that range is already a huge factor, then there's also the development of Joshua in his past matches. Still, Pulev would still probably put out quite a good fight. He's had quite a number of ventures and experiences, and as said by quite a bit of people, has the wisdom and defensive power to hold out. Though compared to Joshua, he may not have that much Knock-out power (comparing the # of Win KO's they've gotten), he still has his skills and experience to back them up.

Have never seen both of them fight, and I've tried to look at some of their highlights. Addition to this post, the factor that Joshua's K'O percentage over Pulev is higher which is also a good point to consider. This will be a good match to watch.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 03, 2020, 01:06:57 AM
It's a good suggestion, however, take note that the forum is not created mainly for bounty hunting. The purpose of this forum is for users to share fresh ideas and new projects related to crypto. Bounties are just additional for those projects who would like to promote their project and those who will join are given free-will to do so aware of the risk of not getting paid or not getting anything from what they are promoting.

I also have been into a lot of projects and have stayed in bounties for several months before, and forum moderators have no total control over developers not paying bounty participants since anyone is free to promote to project without requirements from the forum. It is all up to participants to make their own research to weigh the legitimacy of a project before joining.
54  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: UPDATED : List of Potential Tradable Bounty Campaign . on: March 03, 2020, 12:16:15 AM

55  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naisip ko lang to Bigla [Economy] on: February 29, 2020, 05:57:47 AM

56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you tried explaining provable fairness to old-school gamblers? on: February 29, 2020, 12:30:01 AM
I my self would admit that I am not able to technically understand how to verify hashes on the provably fair system and how it actually works. I won't bother explaining something that I don't fully understand to other people. Honestly, I mostly depend on the reviews on the platform before trying to gamble on it.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Post a gambling site by: Newbie. on: February 28, 2020, 08:35:30 AM
Too many restrictions to newbies is also a dangerous thing to the community in the long run. Much as we have so many scammers who come in using newbie accounts, we also have new genuine gambling sites that are first posted by newbies accounts.
I second this. Restricting newbie accounts further lead to the fact that legit sites and casinos dont have the chance to offer their services here or have to pay someone to post and host their thread - or for the copper membership. Newbie accounts are already verify limited, I definitely wouldn't restrict them even more.

Additionally, the rank of the BTC account means nothing and doesn't prevent you from being scammed in any way. Just take a look at the scam accusations subforum here. The vast majority of accusations are against accounts with high ranks. If someone has the sole intention to scam you, the fact that he has to invest a couple of weeks to reach member status here at the forum won't stop him.

I totally agree, the issue here is not on the one who promotes the site itself, it is those who are reading the post and not doing due diligence on reviewing the legitimacy of the site.

How many high-rank members here are getting victimized by scam gambling sites? How newbies are the victim? Even if you are new in crypto or not people get scammed because of carelessness and being misinformed, or sometimes being greedy thinking of earning money in easy and fast way.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: February 28, 2020, 03:01:41 AM
Luck is luck, there is no other way to increase it. There are days when I don't care about my bet and bet randomly and I win. There are days that I hope for luck and it goes the other way around. Expecting for a result out of luck will just make you feel frustrated. Do not trust on your luck too much and just gamble and follow your instinct when gambling.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 27, 2020, 07:49:18 AM
Nope, most gamblers are aware of their losses in gambling. Maybe not exactly how much they have lost but at least they are aware of the estimated figures they have already lost. However, this will not stop them from gambling. Most gamblers hope for a chance to win big in gambling either by jackpot or simply by playing and wagering big amounts. Even if you keep track of your losses, gamblers might even find a reason to play more since most gamblers play to chase for their losses which is not a good practice.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 07:12:02 AM
This can be an effective way for you to prevent your self from gambling. But still, even if you put an effort to do this, it still falls on you if ever you will let your urge to gamble drive-in or not even with that diary. By the end of the day, it still depends on how disciplined are you in terms of money and how you value the effort you had put to earn it.
