Seems like the dedicated node is still down.. Anyone have an addnode?
Is somebody mining this coin??
You can mine this coin on Multipool.us.
However, if block size is increased, there's really no reason why most miners won't include as many transactions as possible, since it doesn't really cost them anything. Transactors will no longer be required to pay to have their transactions included in the blockchain, and eventually profit-seeking miners will leave. It costs mining pools nothing *now* to process transactions. And in fact they are not even required to fill blocks up with transactions, there are empty blocks produced all the time. Minimum fees can be set regardless of block size.
If the block size remains at 1 MB, most of humanity will be forced by necessity to transact off chain.
(or on another chain)
the miners decide which transactions are valid and which are not.
Stop saying 'the miners'. 3-4 people decide that.
I lol at your post, it shows how self-serving people are, ever tried to ask the miners?? You know the ones that keep the network alive in this competitive environment (not so much now) a market for fees would strenght the network even in the scenario of a total price collapse because you are creating more incentives for mining, and not keeping the vulture industry that dominates it today.
Miners can choose to include or exclude transactions regardless of block size. A miner can decide for himself if a no-fee transaction is worth including, or a low-fee transaction for that matter. If a lot of miners agree a low fee or no fee transaction should be excluded, it will take a long time before a transaction will be picked up by a small mining pool. Miners also need to consider that excluding low fees will mean that the miner pools that do include the low fees will process more transactions (because all the low fee transactions will stack up) and it could be thousands upon thousands of transactions and thousand times a small fee can become quite a large sum. It's better to sell 1 billion screws and make 0,01 cent profit on each of them than to sell 1 Lamborghini and make $100000 in profit. Individual miners decide absolutely nothing, other than people operating their own P2Pool node, with a tiny chance of finding a block. Mining pools are the ones who decide what transactions they will accept. 99+% of the miners could care less about this.

Hi,
I have few send transactions in my wallet which were not confirmed for several days - is there a way to get those coins back (like forcing resend transaction?)
feeleep
novacoind getrawtransaction <txid> novacoind sendrawtransaction <output of previous command>

Seems like my node is lagging somehow maybe?

Having some curious issues with stale blocks.. Looking into it, found this.
Anyone have any ideas? Running 0.5.2.

Here you can see the main post for the future thread when new wallet will be tested 100% https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg9456299#msg9456299The new development features will be change from random reward to static reward (as doge did 2 months ago)(coinflow correct me if im wrong please) The other problem is with the seed explanation here: Configuration/nodes
Seeds are normally done via DNS. You should not need to do any manual addnode commands. But since the current wallet has old seed-nodes encoded into it, which are now offline, it can - and most probably will - happen, that your newly installed wallet doesn't connect automatically to the network (one main reason, why we have to update the wallet, btw.). In this case, please use this peers.dat and replace the existing peers.dat (it's in the same folder, where your wallet.dat is: c:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\mooncoin\), restart your wallet and it should connect fast. Alternatively you could create a file called mooncoin.conf in that folder and use the following as contents:
addnode=5.45.105.66 addnode=moonchain.net addnode=multipool.us addnode=moon.bitember.com addnode=cryptsy.com addnode=swisscex.com And here the post from coinflow, one of our best MOON supporter from beginning. A very nice and honest man , allways helped anyone had troubles with wallets https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg9592958#msg9592958LONG LIFE MOONCOIN! cheers! Is there a fork planned? If so please provide details.
adding multipool.us as a node will not get you anywhere, that goes to an Incapsula IP address. I don't run any public nodes anymore after being hit with DDOS attacks on them months ago.

The network is segmented. Multipool has to mine our own transactions or they don't get relayed. IMO there are not enough clearnet nodes to sustain the network between pools and exchanges. Haven't seen any major forks yet but those could be around the corner. I posted on Reddit about this over 2 months ago: http://www.reddit.com/r/Anoncoin/comments/2dilks/clearnet_nodes_are_getting_sparse/Devs need to set up 2 or 3 open seed nodes on clearnet. It'd also be nice if we could also get an officially tagged release in Git with proper versioning. All of my wallets (built from tag v0.8.5.6) still report version v0.8.5.1-82-gc0b7034-beta and "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications".

UPDATE
We appreciate the community's support in this issue. We have no contract in place enforcing the 250btc/month payout
Uhh, what?

Is there a tagged 0.9 release with the fix merged?

There's something wrong, all of our blocks are being rejected with the following error:
2014-09-29 10:16:17 ERROR: CheckProofOfWork() : hash doesn't match nBits 2014-09-29 10:16:17 ERROR: CheckBlock() : proof of work failed 2014-09-29 10:16:17 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED
Please advise on any stratum changes required.
Are you still trying to mine with Scrypt-N? The fork switched us back to Scrypt, as well as introduced block reward reductions. No, we're using Scrypt.
