41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: May 15, 2024, 10:00:02 PM
TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED
Crypto trading and unemployment are two different problems, where someone is an expert and understands crypto trading, of course this activity can become a job that makes him a lot of money every day, that's for sure, but it applies to those who are experts in that field/trade.

On the other hand, for those who do not understand trading at all, they only know, they have never studied, they immediately want to trade, If that happens, I'm sure that trading could result in unemployment and disaster for him, the understanding of these two factors depends on how they do it.
Of course, trading is a job. But if one does it without acquiring prior knowledge and skills first and thus may lead into losses instead, then you won’t no longer see it as a job that creates opportunities to provide an income, but more of an idleness. You are doing it to take shortcuts to success and getting rich, which in return lead you to a more miserable life instead.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Also consider your mental State of health while investing for wealths. on: May 15, 2024, 09:23:27 PM
I guess we just need to balance everything, it was just really depressing especially when we talk about money and financial things, there was anxiety especially if you saw some of your colleagues or college friends already doing well and your you felt like you not doing enough and still stagnant doesn't have any direction on your life, which is really frustrating and depressing. We always wanted to grind do business hassle and forget about our mental health I guess it is just very common for everyone.

In my opinion what we need is to balance our lives, like a work-life balance, I mean it's possible to have such good work, extra income, or create a business and at the same time have some time for yourself, or rest, have a vacation something like that, I mean it is all very stressful, and everyone just needed a rest something like that, do socialize, go out. Just putting everything on work is probably going to work but as mention, it wasn't going to be healthy, especially in the long term, you might probably earn a huge amount in the long run, but wasn't going to be worth it, we just need to systemize our time and  make everything worth its time, If you can finish your work at 6 hours try to finish it on 4 hours something like that.
Yes, living your life in balance would ease anxiety and depression. Don’t just focus on one aspect, and ignore the rest while you are busy accumulating your wealth. You will end up emotionally and mentally exhausted that will ruin your finances in the end. Instead, learn to live your life fairly without abusing your mental health state or your emotional health. With that, you will live life more productively and progressive.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 15, 2024, 08:46:55 PM
It depends on how many marketplace or business that accept Bitcoin as alternative payment.

If most of businesses accept Bitcoin, I would choose to receive 100 in Bitcoin (30% in Lightning Network and 70% in on chain), so I only use 30% for my monthly needs.

If most of businesses didn't accept Bitcoin, it would be 30% in fiat and 70% in Bitcoin.

The good thing to receive salary in Bitcoin is helping people to automatically DCA-ing Bitcoin every month without need to spend time to buy it.
However, the sad reality is that I don’t think bitcoin is accepted here in the city where I lived, as the government still very much focused on fiat and banks, and discouraged everyone to get involved with crypto especially bitcoin. With this, I know I have to receive my salary in fiat, and just secretly continue buying bitcoin until I earned good amount, without no intentions to spend them but will continue to grow them and triple their amount. I guess for now, I will always stick to my goal most especially that bitcoin isn’t very welcome here in my area.
44  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: May 12, 2024, 09:57:54 PM
But when I'm about to withdraw it they ask me for KYC. And then its gone. lol

This is one of the biggest problem especially if the amount involve is not big enough, some are not willing to take risk undergoing the KYC procedure. So were not able to withdraw because you didn't comply the KYC?

I hope they'll come back here to answer all the concers, afterall this thread is created not for marketing only but for that kind of purpose as well. I was one of the active sig campaigners of COINS.GAME before, I thougth they'll stay here for long term promotion but it seems that was just a trial and error for them as they are not anymore active here.
45  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seabet.io | Daily Betting Reward | Originals Games Sharing $300,000 Prize Pool on: May 12, 2024, 09:28:59 PM
Additionally, I would like to point out that Seabet.io did not even contact me directly to inform me that they had decided to seize my funds. I had to discover this by reading about it on BitcoinTalk. They have not responded to my emails, and only after reaching out through live chat they refer me to BitcoinTalk post with explanation. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and unfair, further highlighting the need for a transparent resolution to this situation.
They had only replied once here about your concerned, and I think that would be their last. A mere screenshot from their end IMO does not fully justify what they do to your account, I mean they need to make further explanation regarding that matter. However if they decide to keep it that way and the community can only judge what both parties have presented, I suggest you also take it on the other platform as suggested by @AbuBhakar, but still keep your thread updated for new updates particularly in the scam accusation board.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 12, 2024, 02:27:40 PM
So let's proceed to the next game, the spread is very close because it's just -1.5 Meralco, will NLEX even the series or will their journey ends tonight? What's the verdict here guys?

I am late with my reply but I bet on Meralco to win. It's even getting worst in game 2 for the NLEX as they are completely dominated by the Bolts. A 19 point victory for the Bolts because of a very good teamwork. Bolts had 6 players with double digit, and shooting as high as 49% although they struggled from beyond the arc.

Bollick only scored 18 points compared to 40+ points in the last game, so I guess it's way better for NLEX to just let Bollick take the load and lead the team in scoring as their chance is quite better although they still loss.

Won by -1.5 bet and won my under 182.5 bet. I was thinking that that 182.5 under bet would already loss after witnessing the first 2 quarters, but luckily, they bring down their scoring especially in the 4th where they only score 35 points in total.

47  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: May 12, 2024, 12:13:36 PM
I just check other exchange X account and I found out that Skel following Bybit too but the rest of the exchange on the choices is not being followed by Skel so our choices narrowed down between Bitget and Bybit. Nice findings on the exchange he is following, typically the team follow the exchange in advance when they plan to cooperate with them in the future.

I hope it’s Bybit because I use this exchange often than Bitget.
It can be listing on both exchanges, not only one.  Cheesy

Listing fees on both exchanges will be expensive and it makes more sense if the team choose one centralized exchange to list the token. I am optimistic so I don't self-restrict chance of listing for the token on both Bitget and Bybit.

Sometimes, exchanges can proactively list a token that can help them to gain money from user's trading fees.

I remember before about Binance having a community listing program where a coin is listed for free if it has a big community. Not sure it's still existing now. But if other exchanges will have this kind of initiative, I think it would give a chance for the new project to get listed for free as long as they have a big community or supporters.

Did some research about Binance listing fee, I read it was estimated around $1 million to $3 million, so exchanges with lower ranking than Binance, may not require a million for listing but it's still big IMO, so I think this will be listed with one exchange only and maybe slowly more exchanges will be added.
48  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.AG Deleted my account after I TREID to make a withdrawal after winning. on: May 12, 2024, 11:32:06 AM
How much did you try to withdraw? Which games did you win on? Is it possible that you had an account previously opened with them? Sometimes they are very strict with multi-accounting. I would suggest emailing them and being patient, I'm sure they will help you out as they have a fairly decent Trustpilot score. If you did nothing wrong, you deserve to be paid. Especially if you lost many deposits before, this withdrawal should not be an issue. I think you should include more info in your post and include some screenshots in order to get the best help and support! Smiley

Thanks mate for the response and to everyone that has commented before you. I have contacted them now here. And through email and the support. (allthough the support doesnt work for me anymore )
I have made some of the information more clear and edited my original post now so that should answer your questions.

I checked the address you posted and seems no tracsaction came, that means they didn't process it if you are telling the truth. Anyway, just be patience, wait for their reply since you have already exerted all the effort to contact them. Hopefully they'll not neglect this serious matter as their account is active and is also promoting in the forum for so long already.

Just keep this thread updated about the matter, we want to know what's going on and so it could also help others who have the similar problem even if on the other casino, I'm talking about the approach made to contact the support to in resolving this.

For that people start to get confuse about the legitimacy of his claims that's why he need to provide more proof so that people could able to see some legitimacy of his claims since there are still people doubting about what he try to claim from that casino.

I guess many are watching now this case and people want to see some updates, also the answer coming from the representative of that casino. Such cases is needed to be taken care so we could able to know on who among them is telling a lie and which of them is doing a harm to one another so will check if there's a resolution and for sure we can see an update. The support of the accused casino is somehow active then let see if we can get a clarification on his case.

Without us posting in this thread, the claim of OP may easily look as legit. Now, we are just trying to make it righ because newbie can easily pop up and destroy the reputation of the casino. Actually, if OP would no provide valid evidence, this thread is irrelevant and we can't expect that representative from the casino mentioned will give time replying here.

And by the way, OP made a post in the official ANN thread of the casino, let's see if what response he'll get.

I made a Withdrawal the other day ( which I still have not recieved ) and now my Account is "disabled" I cant login, and when I ask support they dont answer questions. What is going on? I thought this was one of the more "trusted" sites based on the rating on bitcointalk. Is this how they operate? I havent recieved any information regarding ANYTHING

@robelneo, do you have the data for last month?

That data was just one day (24 hours), so if we will multiply that to 30 days, they are still paying 4,784,490 or almost $5 million. Well, for me it's already big, but if they want to increase that amount, they really need to be consistent with their marketing in the forum.

And even if they thought I was a scammer , why do they just close my account wihout saying anything and dont respond to me or let me in their support anymore? Is this how they treat people? this is so stressfull to go through when I know I have done NOTHING wrong.

That's frustrating when companies do that.  Maybe you made a withdrawal that seemed suspicious to them? Or it could be something else going on that we dont know about.  Either way, they should have told you why even if you didn't like the answer and  i'd try hitting them up every way you can - email, social media, or whatever contact info you can dig up on their site.  Just keep bugging them until someone tells you something.

The site should inform the player regarding this first before closing any account or at least allow them to explain their side. Even if you violate their terms and conditions, deleting your account should not be the option. Try to communicate with them using multiple channel and if they didn’t respond, better to raise this one into a scam accusation and as long as you have a strong evidence to support your claim, I believe many will support you on this one.
Here is the Confirmation email I clicked confirm. and after that my acc was disabled and i didnt get any withdrawal. And no answer on email or in support

You can try to message their account here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=202115

That account is active in the forum. I search on the account's post history and I've seen it has answer a scam accusation which can be found here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491609.msg63988223#msg63988223

You can check the whole thread so you'll have an idea.

Maybe try to put the withdrawal's destination bitcoin address here so we can check as it's hard to type it.

Would be nice if they will be listed on Bybit and OKX since it could give more better volume since there's a lot of people trade there this exchange are the rank 3 and 4 so provably this could bring some good hype to people if they $ROCKY will be successfully listed there.

But if not Kucoin and MEXC still a good choice since those exchange still decent exchange to list where there's a lot of traders go and trade their assets. But Wherever $ROCKY will be listed for sure people will still support it.

More likely Kucoin for me since it’s frequently welcome meme coin especially this one which is currently trending. I’m sure other CEX will list this meme coin on their own just like what happened to popular meme coin such as pepe, shib and so on which CEX list them at the same time due to the hype which will create volume for their exchange.

Mexc and Bitget are manageable to list so it should be Kucoin, Bybit or Okx if they are considering this as exciting announcement since other exchange is the common listing destination even a shitcoin with less budget.

Kucoin is a decent exchange, it's one of the oldest exchange in the market and currently it has over $600 million trading volume (https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kucoin/).. So I think  $ROCKY is just at the right exchange if ever this listing will be realize. I'll take this as a first step at a decent exchange but I'm looking forward to see this token in the most popular and the biggest which is Binance.
53  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: May 11, 2024, 01:05:05 PM
Or maybe that depends from country to country. I think there are countries gambling is really discourage or it's a sin, so casinos are not serving the country.  In my country, gambling is regulated, so I can't say it's illegal because there are casinos that are given a license to operate but when I visit to some popular online casino, I can see that they don't serve my country, some other casinos are not even accessible, so it's a case to base basis I guess.

I still believe that it is depending on the casino and the license only. Although gambling is 100% illegal and considered as a sin, casinos may still serve the country.
Again I'll use my country as example where gambling is illegal and it is also considered as a sin but the fact is that there are so many online gamblers in my country.
But there are also some casinos that not accepting gamblers from my country, that's why I believe the decision is made by the casino which at the same time also following the license.

I guess you are right since it's based on your experience. I'm just curious, I liked to ask, you live in an Islamic country? If so, then gambling is really illegal in your country because  by the teaching of the Muslim, gambling is illegal. I guess it really depend on the casino itself, but I would still dig some information regarding this.

BTW, can you give me an example of the casinos here that allows your IP to gamble on their platform? I just want to verify something, if you don't mind.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, I urge you to buy bitcoin! on: May 11, 2024, 12:11:11 AM
I really love all the discussion. I feel like this kind of discussion can open up doors to talking about how crazy it is we can easily just buy this stuff!

I fear there will be a day when buying Bitcoin...even 1 Satoshi...will involve hurdles.

I'm not saying it won't be accessible everywhere, and to everyone, but I'm just worried for what it will look like when 8 billion people finally understand the concept of Bitcoin, and the community on this forum.

Is it even possible? I mean, can 8 billion people understand anything? Or agree on anything? I'm not sure about this. But if, by some miracle, that happens, the price of 1 BTC can be indeed over $1 million, as some optimists predicted years ago. Those who seemed crazy even by some members of this community will turn out to be right. To be honest, I personally can't wait for that to happen.
If time comes that this 8 billion people have understood completely the concept of bitcoin, I guess they might be late buying bitcoin as there are individuals who decide to buy and hold more than 1 bitcoin, but I think this will be hardly possible. People usually never go with the same goals and interest, so others might be stuck with bitcoin, and the rest into other potential investments as well.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin now? on: May 10, 2024, 10:56:23 PM
I have seen that after this Bitcoin halving, the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot.
Do you want Bitcoin to continue to rise and never go down? If that is what is desired, then it will never happen given the normal ups and downs of movement.
The price after the halving is like the current market price is boring, but we will enter a new price history which will be the highest price above $100k.
Before the halving, Bitcoin had several times reached prices that exceeded the previous ATH. If you compare Bitcoin's current price of $63k with the price before the halving, I think the current conditions are still good.
Bitcoin is highly volatile so expect that it will never stay in a fixed price but will continue to fluctuate from time to time. I think that’s more than an asset for bitcoin that keeps the people from entering the market. So don’t put too much worries while seeing bitcoin price at a decreased price, it will eventually recover in time and even hit another price increase. Just be patient and learn to understand the nature of bitcoin. If you are in rush to get quick profits, then obviously you will fail on that as based on what I see, it may take couple of months first before we will see a good price increase.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: May 10, 2024, 10:15:27 PM
It's a bad habit, and many people like the OP mentioned, especially people who rely solely on their parents' wealth.
It's all because parents don't teach their children to be responsible with money, and people like this don't give advice easily because they think they have a lot of money, and when the money runs out and falls. He will be aware and aware of the words or advice said by friends or other people before, but it will be too late.
And I also have several people with that type, and I judge because these people are blinded by money. And they don't think that money will run out over time if they don't have a job or business that makes money or a stable income to cover their expenses.

And I think people like that just ignore it, later they will realize and regret it when it's all over and that will be a valuable lesson for them. And realize that a luxurious life must be supported by a decent income or more, and must be responsible and disciplined in using or managing money.
I guess this happens to a lot of people most especially to those who have never experienced living being poor. They won’t waste time thinking on how to grow their money and multiply them while they can, but instead they focus on enjoying every penny they earn and spend like there’s no limit. Unfortunately, when their money is used up due to luxuries living, that’s when they realize that they could have save a little and learn to invest so that they will be able to maximize the opportunity while they are earning well.

Wrong decisions will always result negative outcomes. It’s not that you can easily regain all the money that you have carelessly spend, except if you invested in highly potential investments that are sure to guarantee you massive profits in the future just like what bitcoin can do for us.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is it right to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2024, 09:28:21 PM
Start small unless btc is way below its last ATH. Bitcoin is famous for its market cycles. When it goes 50% lower than its last ATH, it is usually a very good time to get in with big chunk of money. If bitcoin is at its ATH or near ATH, then start DCA'ing because the chances are quite high that bitcoin won't be able to go much higher from there. Also decide on the risk levels you are willing to take. For example if you think you shouldn't risk more than 5% of your total wealth on btc, stop investing when you reach that percentage and start working on your sell strategies now instead of buying more. If you carry more risks than you could afford to take, you will make stupid decisions in the future. Risk management is essential.
Yes, if you decide to invest, always make a calculated risk. You can’t just invest just for the sake of money, that won’t be a good idea. But invest when you are knowledgeable enough about the risks that are associated in bitcoin, and invest as much as possible when the market is bearish so you can still purchase a good amount of bitcoin out from a small amount of money that you can afford of losing. And lastly, invest only when you have already a stable job as your major source if income, so that you won’t invest and expect quick returns to cater to your basic needs.

So @LM, just imagine if you have been with ROCKY since day one and invested, you could be one of those who could make huge profits already.  Grin
I was aware of the existence of the project through MetaWin but didn't know that the project was from MetaWin owner. Othgerwise, it could be different lol.
That's because they just recently release it, but now we know, I think it's still possible to make profit from investing on it. However, it's quite really different if we have invested from the very start, bigger profits will be enjoyed as of the present.

And there was an article in Binance.

https://www.binance.com/en/square/post/7515127940049
Quote
In a bold move on X (formerly Twitter), Skel projected a $100 million market cap for $ROCKY, offering to provide exit liquidity at a $5 million valuation – a commitment that saw the token’s price quadruple within just ten hours.

it's price history, https://www.binance.com/en/price/rocky

maybe this will be listed soon.  Grin
59  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: May 10, 2024, 01:41:34 PM
I am aware of what you replied with but it is a bit different from what I stated above. This is not the case of the country of the gambler disallowing him to gamble but the case of the casino restricting the citizen of a certain country from gambling on their platforms.
Casino does not block a gambler because they look at a certain gambler or a citizen of a country, it is always based on the regulation of a certain country that they cannot serve if it's deem illegal to serve that country. Maybe we have different understanding on this matter because personally, I'm a bit confuse because some fo my fellow countrymen says gambling is illegal in our country, but in reality it's not really illegal.

What I believe about the meaning of "gambling is illegal in my country" is that when gambling is totally ban. Not that they allowed some to operate and deny the others.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 09, 2024, 11:56:45 PM
Pretty sure these days, nobody is anti government. Or at least the majority of Bitcoin holders aren’t. If they were they wouldn’t of KYC on exchanges to buy and sell their crypto.

Most of the holders are probably nothing but speculators. They aren’t in it for the advances bitcoin can make for society, they are in it for the monetary gains. Many earlier adopters were different. But these days, everyone is getting into crypto to get rich, not go against the government.
Exactly. Even if bitcoin was designed to build freedom from banks and government, but that does not mean that those who trust and invest in bitcoin are anti-government or anti-banks. Its just that they don’t see fiat as highly valuable in the future, but it’s bitcoin that seems to always appreciate its value in the long run. Therefore, we invest in bitcoin for our own satisfying means, that is to build our wealth in the future with the help of bitcoin, and maybe investing in fiat could still be somehow a secondary goal next to bitcoin.
