42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 03, 2021, 03:02:50 AM
Basically, you don't have control over your gambling habits. It is normal for natural gamblers to still gamble even though they oath not to gamble but in your case gambling is slowly taking over you if not already. You are even gambling with your only savings as you stated and that is pretty bad in your situation specially when you already lose a ton before.
Learn from your mistakes, if not you'll lose everything in the long run.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC Dominance 70.4% in CoinMarketCap. Do I need to exchange BTC to ETH? on: January 02, 2021, 11:48:53 PM
BTC Dominance is 70.4% in the CoinMarketCap. BTC is ATH almost $30K. ETH is only $737. Do I need to trade ETH/BTC to ETH to get more ETH? In the future the percentage gain in ETH is more than BTC.  What do you think?  Thanks.
Split your funds that is I think the best thing to do right now. Bitcoins ATH is currently $33k and a minor pullback right now to $31.9k mark I think bitcoins price is still not at its peak nor the altcoins too. Altcoins prices are so left behind by bitcoin, many altcoins are still far from their previous ATH specially ETH. Holding both will be the smartest choice right now IMO.

46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 30, 2020, 09:05:19 AM
@Coinsfera was right, owning even 25% of a whole bitcoin is enough to secure one's future given the condition that bitcoin will pump more in the future and the price will skyrocket to its utmost limit. But like others said the more the merrier right? So as long as the bitcoins price is still at a dip we should strive to stack up more bitcoin.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing XRP on: December 30, 2020, 06:31:56 AM
Bittrex is another big exchange that has to suspend XRP trading pairs in fear of legal terms with SEC. Soon surely bigger exchanges will delist XRP pairs in the next few weeks. I already saw this coming but there is one thing that is bothering me, Why they will wait until next year if they can do it now? Is there any kind of news coming from Ripple team?
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 30, 2020, 04:43:22 AM
There’s no way to stay green because the market is too volatile, well not unless you’re a great trader and have some proof for that then I don’t have any question for that. Trader should focus to hit their target profit even if they lose some money because that is normal and its part of the game, so don’t be afraid to lose money.
You can stay green even with how volatile the market is. It will just all come down on you manage your risk and funds. I know some traders who earn their living trading full time some of them even quit their job because with trading they can earn more than they earn in 9-5 jobs. With the proper setup of trading plan, risk management, and strategy, you can stay green in trading it sounds easy but trust me it's not.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your Bitcoins safe? on: December 30, 2020, 02:48:21 AM
Private keys, seeds are almost equivalent to passwords in the crypto world so we should also be aware and it is a must to take all preventive measures to prevent getting hacked or losing your keys and your back up to your wallet. I have learned this the hard way before I am depositing BTC to a wallet that I don't even have the keys to anymore, it will be close to impossible to recover wallets with lost keys seeds, and passwords. Don't be overconfident about your security always have the initiative to check and update from time to time.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Youtube Scam? on: December 29, 2020, 12:48:01 PM
First off, all these comments are from people or are they bots?  I notice even on twitter when it comes to politics, you see these accounts post comments where it sounds like a bot... then you see other users who post the same exact thing.
I assume the scam here is you then contact that persons whatsapp or phone or telegram, then they ask you for money... then you get scammed?
Surely they are bots, bots are widely used in videos promoting anything on youtube right now. Specially if the profile seems suspicious or someone doesn't have a profile picture. They are doing that in order to convince someone that might be watching the video to invest in bitcoins with them and eventually like what you are thinking scamming them in the end. Most likely people who do this will invite people to some HYIP or pyramid scheme that bitcoin is being used.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: December 29, 2020, 09:34:06 AM
Is there any tested strategy could I use to scalp 500$ to make them doubled within 2 month or in another word make 2% profit per day.
Any ideas?!
Is it worth?!
which trading platform can I use?
$500 is already a big capital for scalping and yes you have the potential to earn 2% or more per day with just $500. There are alot of trading guides for scalping around the internet those videos will teach you what indicators and patterns you should use to successfully plan a good trade. For a platform, I would recommend Binance specially Binance Futures feature if you want to scalp. Just do your research before entering if you have no experience on trading.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who are the 1% of traders who earn with trading? on: December 29, 2020, 07:53:47 AM
True, but many people will lose their all available-for-trading capital once they enter for the first time to try it out Cheesy
Well, we can't deny it. I also lose like 90% of my total capital in my first month or two of trading but failure is a must for us to learn. That is why it is advisable to start trading with just small capital and just add later on when you are confident in your trading skills. There is no one born a trader we all experience tons of losses before our success. All we need to do in order to be better is keep on studying and learning from your own mistake much better if you will learn from others' mistakes.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 29, 2020, 05:44:46 AM
Gambling already becomes a profession in our time. See those top poker players? they are earning millions if not hundreds of thousands on every event not including the sponsorships and management they have. But still, even though there are people like them earning their living through gambling we must bear in mind that what worked for someone might not work for you.

Haven't meet one, but i have lot of friends who loves to gamble but turned out to have a miserable life in the end. What my perspective if you're living through gambling, i think everyday is living at the edge for you. That path maybe full of hardships and loss, i can't imagine how one can feed their family through that lifestyle.
That's what will happen if you don't have the proper discipline and you are not mentally capable of gambling meaning you cannot control and set aside your feelings when gambling. People like these will surely end up in a miserable life.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 26, 2020, 07:41:52 AM
Bitcoin only Shorted by 20$ to achieve this $25,000
Bitcoin already reached and passed the $25k in various exchange such as Binance, AFAIK price in coinmarketcap is the average price of all exchange correct me if I'm wrong.

and also can this be continues in 2021? since investors now are really dealing with.
We'll see how bitcoin price moves there are still 5 more days and bitcoin may still reach the $26k-$27k mark if this uptrend will continue in the following days but there is a big chance that this bullish trend might still reign in 2021 let's hope for the best.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin FAILED? on: December 25, 2020, 12:33:00 AM
What is the future of Bitcoin in your view
Bitcoin hasn't failed in fact bitcoin became more powerful throughout its 10-year long life and the future only looks bright for bitcoin. Bitcoin is still developing, more and more people and companies are adopting bitcoin plus bitcoin have a lot of usages now compared to its early days.

will it render itself useless and be taken over/killed by a better suited cryptoproject, or are we stuck with it??
We can't say that bitcoin will still reign king in the cryptocurrency market in the future or be overpowered and replaced by a new stronger cryptocurrency. Technology is developing and so as projects, there is a chance that a new crypto project will come out better than bitcoin and replace its spot, and there's a chance that bitcoin will still be number 1. But surely bitcoin will ride along with these developments.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid effect and Crpto blessing on: December 21, 2020, 01:11:07 PM
Hi recently my family affected with covid19 and also huge inflation in my country also job losses . Worried about couple of days after i started looking into alternative income . As always crypto assets became saviour for hard time .
Thanks to bitcointalk and its communtiy . I earned some crypto in past thats helped alot for me .
It is the time i found the real potential of crypto and its communtiy .
I think it is the one of the blessing in my life to get out of my struggles .
I'm glad it worked for you because not all of the people who invested in cryptocurrency had satisfying and good results. I've been in that kind of situation too (not covid but financially), cryptocurrency changed many peoples life including me and I'm thankful that I came across with bitcoin. Just keep on hustling on crypto.

2020 has been a funny year
What has been funny about 2020 beside bitcoin pumping? 2020 is one of the worst year we had experience due to COVID.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Altcoins Follow BTC Rally? on: December 20, 2020, 01:54:27 AM
Sometimes we see When the BTC High then Alts move slightly. So, what's the correlation of Alts with BTC?
Bitcoins price in USD is pushing altcoins value in USD too because most of them are paired with bitcoin. Every bull run we have on bitcoin alts always follows or sometimes some of the altcoins pump along with bitcoin but most of the time IMO and in my observation most altcoins pump when bitcoin gets a price correction but as I said that doesn't always happen because some pump along with bitcoin. I am assured that alt bull run will surely happen in the next few weeks or months I guess, lets just wait.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 19, 2020, 06:29:18 AM
Bitcoin after being in bearish market for almost 3 years finally surpass the $20k mark and made news on the news and social media, bitcoin didn't stop pumping at $20k we almost reached $24k last night and I think with the good news bitcoins price can even rise more.

This is exactly what is happening right now, most of my friends are now asking me how they can buy bitcoin when I literally told them to buy back when bitcoin was on sale last march.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 18, 2020, 06:32:04 AM
What do you think of taking loan(s) to invest in crypto? What's your input? Have any of you done this already? Isn't this crazy?
That's a big no for sure. Cryptocurrency as we already know is very volatile, yes the bullish market will surely arrive in cryptocurrency no matter how long the bearish market will reign but what will happen if the bearish market will stay for too long and you need to payoff your loan and you doesn't have a stable source of income to pay it off? You'll just drown in debt in the long term. If you want to invest in cryptocurrency just spare some amount from your monthly income to put in cryptocurrency. Avoid loans and debts as much as possible.
