41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 strategies for crypto portfolio management on: January 04, 2020, 03:44:22 AM
Diverse portfolio can be use to minimize lost from our activity and mosty I use 2 - 3 coins in balanced amount. Sideways market is the right moment for diverse but the time is relative depend market movement. First time use it is just like no affect into our portfolio, that's normal because the aim is to cover not for make profit. This articles has value for newbie like me and thank you, I hope more articles for ours.

I also use 2 different portofolio, one for investment and one for trading. This is quite good because we could define which is the coins that we should worry about the short time price and which is for long term investment. If we combined it we'll panic if we see out assets in value of USD drops and we'll sell our assets which is really bad for investment
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders spend crypto when they can? on: January 03, 2020, 03:24:34 PM
If profit in trading, maybe this is look like people will usually answer like this. But my friend keep told me to increase capital when profit but don't forget to withdraw some and make it as saving and spend it. So after profit, only my profit which i will split, for increase my capital and withdraw it to bank. So when i need something i still have money and not disturb my capital. And if my capital looks bad and i have chance to get profit, i use that savings.

Yeah i think when we have much profits we should withdraw it and save it for daily needs or an important sudden need. As long as the portion of the spending amount not more than the investment amount i think the investment and the financial status is still healthy, or people could move their profits from crypto to invest in more safe investment
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: January 03, 2020, 01:48:46 PM
I'm not asking recap on what's happens in the Cryptocurrency industry, but on how 2019 made an impact in your lifestyle, motivation and financial status, is it positive or negative, are you full of hope or losing it, what is your assessment this coming 2020.

Much worse than 2018 because anything is stagnan and mostly my investment are loss but at the end of the year yobit bounty is quite good, Hoping this year is much2 better than last year or even better than 2018 also. Cryptocurrency will never die !
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 03, 2020, 09:03:15 AM
I think it's not always like that, we have to manage our trade. If we're sure the profits is having a growth we should just sell a half or not all of our trades because we'll miss a chance if we do. So i think the most important is the risk management, it's okay to have losses as long as our profits is still more than our loss.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best crypto projects created in 2018-2019? on: January 03, 2020, 03:52:06 AM
To be honest, I have not seen any good altcoins created this year so far. There are a few altcoin IEOs in the Binance exchange that are rated very well, but until the end, those altcoins like thousands of other altcoins, were created just for pumping and dumping.

Yeah, I've not seen any interesting projects come out in a while. I'm really hoping people stop investing in this crap so that real projects will start to appear again. I just want to see something new and exciting come out and not a bunch of crap that isn't even worth the trouble researching and will just pump and dump at the end of the day.

People in cryptocurrency should make a new system of token sale beside ICO and IEO because those 2 already expired in cryptocurrency and investors are not interesting with it. Last year we saw and IEO to replace ICO but the result is not good enough, people still think it's just a similiar thing to ICO and not hype for a long time. we need something that really fresh and new
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Realistic 3x - 5x on: January 03, 2020, 01:29:59 AM
easy 3x-5x profits would be easily gained by joining IEO in big exchanges because the projects must be hype and many people are putting demand on the coins. So it's quite easy to reach 3x-5x even it's possible to gain 10x, But we also have much capital to do that because the competition of getting the coins is quite hard
47  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Data Leak on Twitter on: January 02, 2020, 02:33:32 PM
are you sure about your statement, I am a poloniex user but do not receive messages as you mentioned, on the 30th there was an email but it was about the announcement of smaller fees, if there is indeed a leak it will indeed be very detrimental to the user, despite using 2fa security, I'm sure many users have the same password for other sites,

There is nothing at all on Poloniex's twitter acount about this at all:

https://twitter.com/Poloniex

It looks like this was a scam attempt - with the scammers then trying to persuade people that the email was real in this thread! So a double scam attempt.

Yeah that must be a scam attempt and also i think the thread maker is don't know either if it's a scam. Poloniex is an good old exchanges that still operating till right now. I was using it for a long time and nothing problem happened to me. The interface looked like old style but all function is well.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 02, 2020, 01:33:54 PM
A new year and new hope of adopting blockchain and cryptos around the world. Millions of traders or investors are on this Digital Asset Market already.

A good number of people are coming on this market everyday. What are the challenges, regular issues or problems for the traders or investors during investing? Security, High Risk, Scammers, Hackers etc. can be the problems. What do you think?

The main problem nowdays is investors are afraid to invest for a long time in a project which is really needed for a project to develop, so i think the investment system for a project should be renew that make investors are not able to take their money back after certain time
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum upgrade to POS blockchain Vs. Bitcoin Halving[Ian Balina statement] on: January 02, 2020, 04:34:47 AM
Followed that man since 2017 and his portofolio is quite nice and his tweets also are good mostly. It could be happen like 2017 where ETH was surpassing BTC for a moment. We hope it's really happen since ETH's value right now is really cheap and ETH is not deserved that. Collecting some ETHs right now is really good before it's ETH 2.0 this year.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum Big PUMP.? on: January 02, 2020, 01:12:42 AM
if this is true then be prepared to welcome the next Ethereum hike. after a long time ethereum didn't give a big surprise. I hope this is true 2020, new ATH.

https://mobile.twitter.com/fiebsy/status/1211831551509573638?

I'm sure it will have a big pump due to ethereum revolution 2.0 this year if it really happen this year. But i'm not sure it will reach new ATH since last ETH is surpassing BTC in coinmarketcap which is the best days for altcoins. Investors are already losing hope with altcoin right now so i think it wouldn't reach new ATH but a big pump.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: January 01, 2020, 01:34:35 PM

Everyone is very positive about the XRP because we have seen the market situation of XRP which has secured 3rd position in the market. When the market starts recovering there is a huge chance for the XRP to increase its price like previous bull run.

It's because XRP is greatly maintained and many big companies as their partner made XRP is stable on the top of the marketcap.
So i think XRP is the most healthy investment right now since it's decentralized and almost impossible for whales to dump this coin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your new year Resolution? on: January 01, 2020, 07:55:16 AM
Happy New Year in Advance!

In my view, This year was average for the crypto market, and at the same time, it was great if we consider 2018, the year of the longest bear run. This year, the Bitcoin price went nearly 14K USD! Sometimes we did a mistake by selling a good coin, sometimes we mistook by holding a shit coin! Many people get scammed, wallet hack!

So, now 2019 is ended, what is your new year resolution guys? What changes everyone should follow in 2020?

Leave your opinions!

I hope on 2020 there will be a good year for bounty hunter and the crypto industry is growing fast. I hope there are something new that could replace ICO and IEO as a new project to develop. And also less scam and more investors are coming to cryptocurrency. that's all my hope.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEVER EVER deal Bitcoins with PAYPAL (F&F too!) on: January 01, 2020, 05:24:37 AM
I sold my Bitcoins through Paypal Friends and Family payment thinking it would be "safe".
I was TOTALLY wrong.
The scammer issued a chargeback claiming it as "unauthorized purchase".
I sent all the chat logs and the screenshot of the Paypal payment from the buyer and the receipt from Paxful including PGP signature, but I doubt if I will ever win.
Feels so sad that this BS has happened in the end of the year.
I'm stuck between either paying the chargeback or closing my bank account and debit card, never using Paypal again.

Make sure you are using a midman or an escrow if you want to trade bitcoin or other cryptocurrency without using exchanges, the fee of an escrow is not much, fewer than exchanges fee and withdrawal fee. So, it's dangerous if you trade bitcoin or any other currency without an exchange.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 01, 2020, 04:26:27 AM
Depends on the experience, if you already good at trading and know the nature of the current market, 50$ is really enough for altcoin trading. I'm not recommend for investment since investment right now most of them are scam and you will never get the 100% ROI. So, i think casual trading on some big exchanges like binance or kucoin is the best for 50$ value.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why You would invest in this coin? UVU. on: December 31, 2019, 11:14:35 AM
Frankly speaking, No one is interested in buying a brand new coin with not much of a project idea. Also why it is listed before it stopped selling on the website. People will just manipulate with the price and market.

yeah i think it's just a usual projects that came out everyday, nothing special about it and the hype is also small, hype for a proejct is number 1 needed in this day if a project want to success. So i think i will skip this one and move for another good one. I'm sorry it's my honest opinion
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: December 31, 2019, 07:59:32 AM
2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.

I don't think investors want to invest in ICO or new project anymore in 2019, i'm sure investors would likely to invest on existing coins that already big morover next year will be bitcoin halving so investors will save their bucks for invest some bitcoin for goods, So, next year is not year for new projects because investors are losing hope with new projects
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading bots are you using to manage your portfolio? on: December 30, 2019, 01:52:51 PM
I don't use trading bit nowadays as it all seems fake, I have tried telegram bots but their not showing accurate result. It feels like a waste of time so better read the charts, be updated in crypto news or simply watch the coinmarketcap charts if trading with different alts, as for me now I prefer to watch on trading few alts, to focus and have better analysis.

trading bots is not telegram bots, it's really a different thing. Trading bot is a software that could do buy and sell with some algorithm made by humans to gain profits and sometimes it's just worth on an exchange because it only monitor one exchange and buy and sell when it reach the target, also doing stoploss when the price drops hard.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: December 30, 2019, 11:44:57 AM
Just read all the tips given but don't give a full shit on it since sometimes they are not totally working since even for theirselves they don't apply those so best to learn from yourself and read some reliable trading books since I think this is the most helpful rather than reading the post here.

Those tips are helping but there will be no pattern that can we experts or remember in cryptocurrency trading because the market movement are so dynamic and impossible for any prediction can go 100% but luck. So i think the most important thing is the experience and how we control our loss
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: December 30, 2019, 07:49:13 AM
I've been following the trend news of central banks creating their own digital currencies but a question have since then troubling my mind.

1. These new Central Bank coins are they going to be stable coins or not?
2. What will happen if they are not stable coins? If holding them will be profitable many will leave crypto space and focus on these new coins?
3. Maybe people will just use them as a plus since it's from the government?
4. Will regulations still come after this? I think other coins will be neglected and regulations will only be for coins from government?

1. I'm sure it must be stable coins because it's controlled by the banks and the banks created it. No matter how big the demand will be , the banks will always create the supply because it's the same with crypto that have limited supply.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain courses? on: December 30, 2019, 02:14:20 AM
The more I read about blockchain technology, the more I become confused. So I have decided to take blockchain courses. But I am completely naïve about programming concept and the likes. What are prerequisites to enroll in the courses? Can I become a blockchain developer? Please give suggestions.

I don't think blockchain have a good courses yet since it's developer is still few and the technology is quite new so i think not really much people already mastered it and ready to teach other people. Moreover from the non IT person i think it's hard to become a blockchain programmer it's better to learn basic algorithm first, or some basic java courses to train our logic and programming language and concept
