941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earnings from long time Holdings on: July 28, 2018, 03:29:21 PM
Hi, how many of you have a successful story/earning from long time holdings? How many months or years that you hold it and what coin/s is/are that?

I am a holder and it seems like im loosing my patience with the particular coin that I am holding right now so I want to gain some inspiration from you when it terms with holding.

The only one coin that guarantee a profit from long time holding is bitcoin i think.
Othercoins will be replace by new coins but bitcoin is always on the top
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcore Is 40X Faster Than Bitcoin, Yet 4000X Cheaper? on: July 28, 2018, 03:10:37 PM
I wrote this article today - How Bitcore is 40X faster than the original bitcoin, yet 4000X cheaper:

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jimbojones/bitcore-is-40x-faster-than-bitcoin-and-4000x-cheaper

Bitcore was created before bitcoin cash, and bitcoin cash was overly hyped and took all the attention. Bitcore seems to be far superior in every single way?

Bitcore is currently selling at $2.. and is listed on 8 different exchanges with around $450,000 a day in trade volume.

Seems like this one has been over looked?

What do you guys think?

Not strong enough to defeat bitcoin until the user prove it by theirself.
Many statement like this like bitcoincash will defeat bitcoin, even the CEO of bitcoin itself said that.
But people still trust bitcoin rather than other coin
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitepaper? Do you really believe 100% in any projects whitepaper?. on: July 27, 2018, 03:48:53 PM
Well...the two are super good
Bounties are good, real investment is also nice.
But you know, bounties is tasky and time consuming..such as article writing, translation, media campaign and the likes.
But you see investment....you just got to dive into any project if you have your capital (BTC) already and wait for what happen next.

Nope, sometimes they just "reskin" other project whitepaper and upload it.
To assess a project we have to look the project closer into their community and ask everything and see if their support can give us good answer or no
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: July 27, 2018, 03:29:53 PM
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?

Literally i'm sure it's already bullish, but sometimes i bothered the statement of bitmex CEO which said bitcoin isn't reach it's lowest this year, it will go 5k after bounce to 50k.
So, i become not sure right now
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Addiction or depression! on: July 27, 2018, 03:03:19 PM
There has been a lot of talk about crypto addictions and depression, sometimes resulting in suicide. Do you think it would be a good idea to create a forum for such kind of help or advice, where people can voice their fears or just be heard and supported.

Yes some of people who joined crypto ended up depression due to loss and not enough rest because of watching market all the time.
Crypto is so addictive and that's why we have to be educated before we enter crypto too deep
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: July 26, 2018, 06:30:26 PM
Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign. And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?

Mostly on current bounty campaigns you need ERC-20 wallet to receive the tokens.
And for selling to ETH or BTC is possible when your coins enters an exchange
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on Privacy coins? on: July 26, 2018, 06:14:34 PM

As defined by coincentral.com, "Privacy coins implement the functionality to hide your identity when making transactions. They also can keep your wallet anonymous and/or hide the balances of transactions as well. "

The topic of this usually goes in two directions. One side claim negative attributes (ie. A utilization for money laundering and terrorist/criminal activity) or positive (ie. redeeming your right to have absolute control of your privacy).

When we think of potential use cases, we think of Silk Road or more recently Verge who entered the porn industry. But at the same time, you can in vision a use case that could be beneficial, which involves protecting people's financial identity. For instance, do you really want anyone to be able to track your purchases, see your salary or know your net worth?

What's your thoughts about Privacy coins? Do you see it as a positive or negative? Do you envision a future where privacy coins succeed?

Leave your opinion on Crowdholding and earn crypto for your feedback for free! Here is the link - http://bit.ly/2ukI6gv

Potentially will gonna be used by crime or something that need anonymous.
But it has a lot of good side of it, safer wallet and can secure it from hackers
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC? on: July 26, 2018, 06:03:56 PM
Coins like BTC and ETH have proven beyond reasonable doubts that they are the best and more safer coins to invest. My little advice is that, whenever you get your altcoins, it would be better to convert at least one third to either BTC or ETH to serve as some form of insurance to your tokens in case it fails to survive. I used to keep all my altcoins and now that the market is red it has badly affected my investment. And mind you, those new altcoins are not like BTC and ETH, they can get zero volume anytime so they are not reliable. Is there any other person with a different view or everybody agrees with me?

I usually do half and half when the time is right.
Such as if my bounty coin will enter the new exchange, usually the price will go up, i sell a half to eth or BTC.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why i will invest in Crytpocurrencies and forget ICO's on: July 26, 2018, 05:54:30 PM
This is what i would advice,... Invest in cryptocurrencies listed on coin market cap and forget ICOs.
Reasons:
1. Coins listed on coin market cap are more reliable to invest in than coin yet to be listed on coin market cap/being offered during initial sales.
2. Lately most ICOs are scam.
3. Lately most ICOs do not reach their soft cap. Hence, chances are, you may either get you money back same or depreciated or loss it entirely
4. Coins listed on coin market cap have been listed on most trading sites. Hence, you get the chance to participate in any form of trading you desire.

Caution:
Before you invest in a particular coin listed on coin market cap
1. Take a careful look at the price graph of coins and decide which coin interest you
2. Read more about how to invest in your desired coin. the pros and cons.
3. Work your way out to make your first investment.

Before you invest in an ICO,
1. Gain indepth knowledge about every aspect of the Project
2. Ask yourself whether the Project is worth your investment?.
3. Ask yourself would other people have interest in the project?
4. Ask yourself whether, the project has greater chance of hitting it soft and hard cap during token sale?
5. Measure your level of suspicion of scam behind the project.

Remember: if soft cap is not achieved the project becomes unsuccessful, Hence your investment might be interrupted
If soft cap and hard cap are achieved, probability of the team running away with your money is pretty high.
Therefore becareful the kinda ICOs you invest in

The above is entirely my opinion. Please share yours below if you agree or disagree

But you have to remember that altcoin you invested is ever to held an ICO past from now lol
For big profit you should invest on ICO and do a long hold, but also a bigger risk
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coin are bleeding badly on: July 24, 2018, 03:09:37 PM
Recently since Bitcoin are up trends but all most all alt coin are bleeding badly. Really it wasn't expected Angry. On previous record we can see if Bitcoin bump tham alt was bump more. I don't know the exact reason for that. I guess alt are waiting for Bitcoin ETF ( Excahnge Traded Fund) for SEC approval. We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.

It's usual condition when bitcoin is bullish, people will not trade alt and holding bitcoin.
Altcoin will back normal when the price of bitcoin become stable later
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: July 24, 2018, 03:03:16 PM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

Depends on the personal bounty hunter, if he thinks the project is good, he will buy more tokens with his new capital.
But if he thinks the project is bad, they will dump sell after the he got the reward
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs bounties suck...do not believe them on: July 24, 2018, 02:53:26 PM
I run a media company, and deal with a lot of ICOs. What I noticed was that all these ICOs want top-notch articles & videos about them but they insist on paying in their token or want it for free. They think they are doing a service by giving bounties. What they don't realize is that their token is useless most of the time. Most of the bounties done by ICOs are bad.

Like:

1) Write 500-1000 words article on us for 300 of my useless tokens (which won't be coming on an exchange and will be used only on our platfrom. And you won't get free service but 25% discount Smiley )
2) Or make a 5 min video for us and post it on your YouTube. You need to have 5000+ subscribers and praise us to get our useless tokens.

I am not making fun of any ICO, just pointing a fact out on how these tokens are just polluting the market.

If you are an ICO or running an ICO, please pay the right price in a currency that works (Eth, BTC, Euro etc). Your tokens are useless for agencies. They take out their time and resources to make a good campaign for you.

Secondly, if your ICO does not have money..it should be red flagged for a potential scam.

What are your thoughts? Are bounties good or bad?

Nope, it's best.
Give us (bounty hunter) a lot of profits without spending capital.
The most important thing is how you choose what bounty you want to join
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Confirms $32 Million BNB Coin Burn on: July 24, 2018, 02:37:07 PM
The exchange conducts coin burn every fiscal quarter. Currently, they are ready for the fourth quarter coin burn which involves around $32.7 million BNB.

https://coinpedia.org/news/binance-ceo-update-coin-burn/

Usually token burning will make the token exist are more valueable, but some also get price reduce because of some reason.
Let's see which one will happen to BNB

956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to reinvest into ETH? on: July 21, 2018, 07:52:25 AM
I hopeall of us are eagerly waiting for the bullrun a similar one which we have experienced last year ? Most profitable investment was ethreum and I am just wondering if it's going to be the same this year? Is it the right time to reinvest into ethreum?

this time is the month of btc bull run, i think it's too risky if we hold alt until bitcoin's price is stable.
But saving some ETH is not bad at all since this coin is really good though
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forum legends, please i need suggestions of profitable alt coins i can mine. on: July 21, 2018, 07:34:34 AM
Firstly, I'm a newbie here Grin and also new to the crypto world, so please be nice.  Smiley
I have a HP elitebook mobile workstation , 12Gb ram and 500Gb hard drive with 512mb Nvidia GPU, Since i can't mine bitcoin with this PC or  afford the required hardware to do that, can you guys suggest any profitable altcoin i can mine with my PC or mining pools i can engage in and at least get profitable outcome.
Thanks.

that such a low spec for mining a coin but i would like to suggest you to mine ETN.
But it still hard to get much, you better do airdrop and bounties to get alts rather than mining with your low specs notebook
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merita for exposing Scam projects on: July 21, 2018, 07:09:03 AM
Interested in this question, if I found the draft Scam and argue this confirmation is possible for it to get merit?

What project is that ? i will give you one merit if the project is big and scam many people.
Just go a head.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: July 20, 2018, 09:12:18 AM
Is there any relationship between the two?
Whh must the fall of bitcoin after other altcoins?

If bitcoin price is in not stable condition, the altcoin must be struggling.
Just like right now, even bitcoin price is up, but altcoins are down because the price of bitcoin is not stable
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the market recovered? on: July 20, 2018, 08:48:54 AM
hi guys! In this article I would like to talk about how the crypto market has recovered in the last 3 days. Is this a real recovery or just a side effect after the World Cup. We need to look into this

I think this year low is already passed, it won't go under 7k again.
It's already the time for the bull run, hope we reach another all time high this year
