1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing number of altcoin (Good or Bad)?? on: June 24, 2018, 02:29:08 PM

I'm just curious if what are the effect of increasing number of altcoins in the market is it good or bad in crypto currency? Do we really need a lot of altcoins in the market ?.

Actually it's not really increasing, every day there are always dead coins or coins that delete from the market.
People are compete each other to make the best coins that can last longer in the market.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: June 24, 2018, 02:17:45 PM
Why?

Because it's not the future yet.
People need new entery price for getting more profits.
It's already too high before, so we just need a break
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am i expected to do? on: June 23, 2018, 02:57:31 PM
I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.
Any advise that will be useful is welcome.

Just hold your coins and sell it on the end of the year.
January - July is the time for entering market and at the end of the year time for taking profits.
This is the way of safest trading and biggest profits
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: June 23, 2018, 02:40:40 PM
If I have a few mins to kill during the day (usually when waiting for ETH/BTC to hit the exchanges from my wallet) Ill sign up for an airdrop or two. Most of the ones that I have either haven't hit exchanges or are worth under $1.

TRON (TRX) was the first one for me that actually did something.

500 free TRX peaked at ~$30 and is currently worth ~$19

HODLing!

I've ever join EQUAL (EQL) airdrop.
And when i sold the tokens it was just like 200USD and i got twice.
That is my biggest reward from airdrop
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop of over $500 on the price of a bitcoin last 24 hours on: June 23, 2018, 01:22:19 PM
With mixed sort of news coming, bitcoin fell sharply last 24 hour breaking all the so called resistance point of 6500 and 6300 to reach around $6K.
Where next? Below $5K or rise back to $10K?

Famouse prediction is this year low will be 6k and high 60k.
It was below 6k for a while, then bounce back to 6,1k. I hope this is the last low and bullish in the upcoming weeks.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it works? on: June 22, 2018, 03:59:01 PM
Seeing how many projects that conduct ICO are listed in Exchange at lower prices than it was stated during the ICO, investors continue to invest in projects.
Why are they still doing this?
I'm not talking about scammers...
Sorry for my English.

Those because right now so many weakhand investors who sold cheap.
Also the bounty hunters (if the project have bounty), will sell the tokens at any price because they get them for free.
If the project is really good, you just have to wait token price rising.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started! on: June 22, 2018, 03:33:42 PM
It is sad but maybe unavoidable!
The only thing that can save BTC going under 6K is a big Whale buying BTC!
Sending BTC down is easier than sending it up: Less resistance. That is why it is going down! When it goes to a 3-4K the bears will become bulls: Opinion.
If you worried move into Tether and sit it out: Suggestion Only.
2 Billion down as I typed this: It looks real ugly

It's not a crash, it's because of japan news.
Japan is making a new regulation for cryptos and ask some big exchanges to recreate their system.
It's planned to make any crypto user is not anonymous.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much is everyone earning from bounties per month? on: June 21, 2018, 04:35:27 PM
I was wondering, how much is everyone earning from bounties per month, feel free to leave your comments below, this topic was started out of pure curiosity.

I know for a fact that bounty hunters get paid in the altcoin currency they work for, whatever job they do.

Cashing out the altcoins they get is a pain in the a$$ though, mostly because when the ICO ends the altcoin gets listed on shitty exchanges.

How do you cash out altcoins, is it worth it to participate in bounty campaigns anymore?

I've ever joined a bounty service that paid like 50 USD per week, so it's around 200 USD per month for signature bounty.
And for bounty signature at some project, i usually joined for like 3-4 month each project and get paid around 2k USD at successful projects.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: June 21, 2018, 03:36:21 PM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

Yeah me too, it's too wasting time even with very easy task.
But later on your email will be got spammed by random spam email from nowhere and also your wallet will be full of trash tokens.
Airdrop is not worth for me.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: June 18, 2018, 03:00:19 PM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?

It's not hard actually, you can see their project details such as websites, teams, roadmap, whitepapers, and other components of bounties.
You can find an originality from those things, and also you can choose a good bounty manager that handled the bounty.
From there you can avoid scam bounties as well
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: June 18, 2018, 02:25:09 PM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?

I think it's not possible because there are still no rules or regulation in a law of any country about cryptocurrency.
That's why many experts in cryptocurreny said, only invest the money that you can afford to lose.
So, invest with your own risk.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got my rewards for first successful bounty campaign I joined on: June 18, 2018, 02:02:33 PM

Please ignore the NewPiedPiperCoin!

I wrote this new thread to express the feeling felt after receiving this XPST tokens from Pokersports bounty program that I joined for couple of weeks of doing the task required by the platform. Simply posting / sharing the links from their Facebook page as well as making a tweet or retweets at their Twitter account able me to received 12,000 XPST.

That is equal to more than 1ETH, as a newbie to this crypto bounty hunting I have no idea how to trade this token and convert into cash. This is one of my task to learn for now for me to have experienced how everything works especially on trading. I just can't believe to have this thousands of XPST token but thanks to this ICO and to this bounty program.

Well, I studied and read the updates of this token and saw that they are already listed in Bitpaction and Idex but haven't tried trading to those exchange sites. Still reading how it works, maybe in few days coming I will try to trade with small amount first just to experience. This bounty program is really helpful to lot of people, all we need is to work hard on doing the task required, I was inspired to work hard on this bounty program for me to earn more tokens, earn more money.

Want to say thanks to my online friend who introduced me to this program! Not to mention their names, 2 generous people who never ignore every questions I asked the day I started until today.

I have a few questions in mind hope to have a response from my co bitcointalk members for me to have an idea!

1. Is Bitpaction & Idex a reliable exchanges?
2. For Pokersports Token holders out there, any advice on what to do to my tokens? Do I need to hodl this? And if I do, until when? Any updates, news and prediction about the tokens we have?

Thank you for reading this thread and for the respect! Have a great day everyone and let's keep bounty hunting!

1. I haven't heard bitpaction before but i know IDEX is good, it's decentralized exchange.
2. I think you should hold your tokens until your tokens has an official exchanges, decentralized tokens is good but the price will be much cheaper than when it listing on official exchange (centralized exchange).
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: June 18, 2018, 01:49:07 PM
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?

Because the current market price is bleeding, the ICO teams project won't sell their tokens cheap because most of them are in ETH rate or BTC rate.
Maybe they will wait until August before opening ICO
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best project? Which one? on: June 17, 2018, 02:26:00 PM
What is the best project right now, regardless of Token or Coin price?

Things to look

Real use cases
Adaptibilty of the system
Why is that necessary?

Streamity is one of the best.
They're open the ICO yet because they prefer to launch the system they build.
Because they're selling products, not finding investors to fund their project.
Come and join to streamity next month will be the ICO
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: June 17, 2018, 02:09:22 PM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?

The manager is also get scammed by the team of the projects, so the one who can we blamed is the ICO team projects not the bounty manager.
The bounty manager is same as the bounty hunter, just their work is more and salary is more, also more responsibility.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth using the Stop Loss when the market is in the bottom? on: June 16, 2018, 04:09:38 PM
I have used the stop loss to protect my investment, but with this market bleed, I have doubts if it is worth using Stop Loss. What do you think?

Stop loss is always worth in any market situation because in crypto everything could happen, it could be happen that coins you hold will be delist on the market or even it's scam so the price will drop so much.
So, use stop loss in every market condition.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: June 16, 2018, 03:51:51 PM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?

You can't just do a random buy to a tokens based on the volume.
it depends on what the tokens do and their future project.
If it's good, it recommended to buy even with the low volume
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market makes ICOs cheaper on: June 15, 2018, 03:44:50 PM
I see that many people complaint when the price of the coins drops, however that makes the ICOs cheaper and they are more likely to gain xMore than just hodling when the market recovers. What would you do to seize the opportunity?

Yeah but why you would like to invest in ICO?
Just buy the coins that already in market while they cheap, and we ready to get multiple profit when the market is bullish
And the important thing, it's far more safe than investing in ico
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto long-term? on: June 15, 2018, 03:28:59 PM
Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?

Yes, i'm sure.
I'm also a long time holder, bought ETH in 2017 at 200USD, and still holding it right now.
I'm sure crypto will be boom at the end of this year.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that STABLECOINS are needed in the future of crypto payments? on: June 15, 2018, 03:17:27 PM
Do you think that STABLECOINS are needed in the future of crypto payments?

There are already exist a stable coin called USD Tether.
The price is following the USD, but this coin is just for payment just like fiat, not for investment like other coins.
many people in crypto is aiming for investing, not for payment.
