721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better than Bitcoin? Good investment? on: October 22, 2018, 11:18:09 AM
Great opportunity to invest? Who thinks this will reach hard cap?

ICO https://tmoney.io TMONEY is the token

I never seen an ICO reached their hardcap recently due to no investors wants to invest much in ICO.
People now are waiting for btc bullish then move invest to alt/ico
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to ETH? on: October 22, 2018, 10:24:38 AM
From last few months, the value of ETH is going down. It touched ATH $1300 but now the price of ETH is around $200. I am in big loss by holding ETH.

Why this too much dump? When we will be able to see ETH raise again?

Because market is too stagnant and big traders lost interest to ETH and move to another coins.
The only hope is hopping the BTC will have a bullish this year, so altcoin can follow the track
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Monero become next BTC? on: October 20, 2018, 01:14:41 PM
Currently, Monero is the 10th largest coin by market capitalization. Crypto miners are attracted to Monero because it has emerged as the most profitable altcoin in the past few months.

A research firm Satis Group, which forecasts the cryptocurrency market and the fate of individual cryptocurrencies, published a reporting stating that Monero could be worth $18,000 within the next five years. That represents a more than an 18,000% increase from its present value, which stands at just over $106.

From"Monero's price: all you need to know"

How do you think about XMP? Another BTC?

I think it's far far behind if it's compared to bitcoin.
Bitcoin has a really far marketcap from monero and it won't be close even with ETH
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What thing you much check before investing in an ICO? on: October 20, 2018, 12:30:23 PM
Read whitepaper > Check the orgininalty > Search about the team project member > decide.
Or you can simply go to ICO review sites that a lot in the internet and make a conclusion from there
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BountyHunting and Airdrops? on: October 20, 2018, 11:57:40 AM
So i heard a lot about these terms but confused exactly what these mean.  So basically if you own any btc or any altcoin, you could participate in these?  So basically it requires very little money or does it require no money at all for something like this.  I read about how ppl do certain things like post links on facebook and social media etc and then they get rewarded or something like that?  So basically you could do this for income or side income?

I also heard how when people receive an airdrop or another term, they immediately sell it for btc.  Can someone explain this process as basic as possible?

So if someone has free time or doing nothing, they could make money while on the computer with this?  But how much money could one even expect to make if say they could do this 20 hours a week vs say 40 hours a week?  The other thing i heard is if you do this, you could get scammed?  How exactly you get scammed?  They send you airdrop but its to your wallet and then your wallet get hacked?

Yep, you can sell your airdrop/bounty tokens into btc when your token listed on any btc market.
And the value of different campaign is different, based on how successful the project is.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest in an ICO, Reviewing of the team behind is necessary? on: October 20, 2018, 11:29:42 AM
Most ICO's tend to hide their members behind the project. Is not it necessary to know about the team also who are building an ICO project, including other factors of it?

It's not about necessary or not.
But, it's a must. The team is the core of the project besides the idea.
With professional and experienced team, the porject will be really implemented in the future
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened? Why do prices fly down? on: October 19, 2018, 04:04:41 AM
For the current day, the prices of the main crypto-currencies show a steady decline, what could this be related to? Is it because of some rumors? And as a result - a panic sale?

Because the market is bored so investors are waiting for further hype.
I'm sure in this year there will be a bull run at the end
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth holding XRP and BTC, or selling my XRP for more BTC? on: October 19, 2018, 03:36:20 AM
I currently have holdings of ETH, XRP, AND BTC. However I believe we may not see prices this cheap for bitcoin in the near future, espeically with institution funds rolling in. Should I sell my XRP for more bitcoin???
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

I think right now it's more worth to hold btc because recently XRp has already pumped and i think no more pumps in near future.
Bitcoin is already stagnant for like 1 month, it will have a big move soon
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin/USDT, Coin/ETH, Coin/BTC which one is better ? or all is good ? on: October 19, 2018, 02:43:27 AM
as we know when coins enter exchange then we can buy the coin using BTC, ETH or USDT according to the decision of the ICO developer who wants to make their coins can be purchased using USDT, ETH or BTC, even can use them all in the exchange.

but here I want to discuss about that, in my opinion it's better to use the purchase method with just USDT to make the coin more stable.

because like now the prices of ETH and BTC are going down then the coin will go down the price, because they are interrelated even though if ETH and BTC go up then the coin price will automatically go up too.

to make it easier then I will make this by using an example.
for example coins can be purchased using ETH and the ICO price at that time is 1 coin of $ 0.05 and if we buy with ETH then we will get the price of 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH (I take the example if the price of ETH is $ 450).

and now the ETH price drops to $ 290 even though the coin price does not go down, still at the price of 0.0001 ETH, but their $ (USDT) value must go down, because the ETH price drops to $ 290 automatically even though the coin price is in 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH, but the price is not $ 0.05 again it actually becomes $ 0.03 and it drops as much as $ 0.02 from the ICO price even though the exchange rate does not go down (still 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH), even if the ETH price rises to $ 500 the coin price goes up too, but according to me is better that the coin can only be exchanged using USDT only to make the coin more stable and determine its own price without following the increase or decrease in the price of the ETH or BTC even other coins that can be used as a coin purchase.

this is my opinion, if your opinion is different then that is your right, because everyone has a different opinions.

All good but for me.
I always do the coin/btc, because i always earning btc no matter btc at what price.
Because i'm sure one day btc will boom again and that's the time i can payout all my btc
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $194 million dollar worth of Bitcoins is moved with a $0.1 transaction fee on: October 17, 2018, 01:47:13 PM
when it comes to banking institutions, transferring large amounts of money comes with a hefty transaction fee.

TransferWise
a UK based multi-billion dollar firm that allows its users
to send small to large payments with substantially lower fees. Even on
such platforms to transfer $1 million it costs around $7,500 for transaction
fee.

However, a bitcoin user on October 16 moved 29,999 BTC worth $194 million with
a surprisingly low fee of just $0.1. Blockchain has the ability to large payments at a cost
similar to that of a small transaction.

Does this mean crypto has the ability to crack offshore banking market?

https://www.ccn.com/194-million-was-moved-using-bitcoin-with-0-1-fee-true-potential-of-crypto/

That's the main advantages of bitcoin transaction, very low fees.
But people are still afraid because it's not safe enough, those bitcoins can be hacked by the hackers and we don't know what to do
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO on: October 17, 2018, 01:28:49 PM
Hello all,

There's one thing I have ever noticed, after ico the token price dropped drastically could anyone explain why such is happening...
Eg, there are some tokens are I have in my wallet which I want to trade since then till now I have been waiting for the price to come up but instead decreasing. What do I do in this scenario?

Because in these current market condition.
No investors wants to invest on ICO except a really good ICO.
So, listing ICO tokens is this current market is a suicide for the project
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty needs KYC to receive reward? on: October 17, 2018, 12:59:52 PM
I've been in the bounties in this past few weeks in order to do something in order to have some earnings in my free time, probably to join a signature campaign since it's doesn't required a full time to do it and you hold your own time to complete the tasks needed by the campaign.

After hovering for a couple of page there's one campaign that gets my attention because of its presentation and the concept and solutions of their project to the existing problem (Whitepaper) so to make it short it's a legitimate project, after reading the thread there's a note stated that "Campaign requires KYC." well i'm not from the US but this concerns me, for what I've known a KYC stands for "Know your CUSTOMER" so basically it's for the investors or the customer of the certain project.

According to Wikipedia a "Know your customer is the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients and assessing potential risks of illegal intentions for the business relationship. The term is also used to refer to the bank regulations and anti-money laundering regulations which govern these activities."

In my understanding a KYC is a document needed in order to know the credibility of a certain person (investor) if the money they going to invest came from illegal works, money laundering and also to know the status of a person if he/she is has a criminal records for the certain country, etc. but in this case it's required in order to get the rewards.

As a bounty hunter and a fellow forum user this concerns me. Giving personal details to anyone on the internet is VERY DANGEROUS in today's era we can't live without using technologies including online banking, etc. it means they can use your personal datas in order to do illegal works and the likes, but let me give you the advantages and disadvantages of it (According to my own perspective) why they're requiring users to pass KYC documents in doing bounty works.

Reasons:
- To control spam
- To avoid users who uses multiple accounts
- To avoid cheaters
- To avoid abusers
- To get personal infos and used to illegal works (It might be right?)

Effects: (For bounty hunters)
- Risk

Summary:
There are different possible reasons why the project requires the users to submit KYC documents. Probably a good reason or a bad reason but no matter what sending a personal documents or a personal valid ID is very risk for the users.

Solutions:
There are some ways in order to avoid risk in sending personal details/KYC to bounty campaigns
- Review the project
- Read every technical details
- Review each team member
- If the projects seems unprofessional it's a scam

but the safest way is not to send any information of yourself on the internet.

Disclaimer: All of the statement, solutions, etc. above are according to my observations, opinions and perspective on the said topic it might be right to others or wrong to others. This section might be wrong (I don't know where to post, maybe in meta? please correct me.) but I posted here because most of the bounty hunters are wandering in this section.

I'm 100% agree with this.
Many people are just doing bounties with so many alts and many social media alts with many wallets to receive rewards.
With KYC everyone will do bounties honestly
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the USDT crashing? on: October 17, 2018, 11:48:44 AM
Some people say that the mission of the USDT was created to collapse. Why does OKex trade all large-scale USDT futures explosions? This caused the entire market to start exploding, and coins such as Bitcoin Ethereum rose rapidly, and BTC rose 13%. Is this situation beneficial to this market? Will the collapse of the USDT cause the entire market to collapse? What do you think will happen in the next situation?

I think usdt is not a really fiat converter, it's still a cryptocurrency too that can up and down normally.
Bitcoin sudden price pump that made tether price down i think
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody knows why there was this big pump today on: October 15, 2018, 02:54:49 PM
hiiii.

does anybody know why there was this big pump 3h ago?

The whales are transferring very big amount of tether to binance and bitfinex.
And they're pumping btc, i'm sure something big will happen soon Cheesy

736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 15, 2018, 02:02:53 PM
Hi, everybody. With the development of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, not only good ideas and projects began to develop, but also those who want to get a lot of money on the HYIP,  use new technologies for their personal purposes. Projects began to carry out the KYC procedure for investors, airdrops, bounties to protect their projects from prosecution by the authorities, to improve security, to know their investors in person. But maybe we can use the KYC procedure not only for buyers but also for sellers. If we introduce such a procedure for new projects, it will increase the level of investor confidence, as well as deter many fake projects from collecting our funds, protect our crypto assets from fraud. This procedure can be entered in this forum to host projects or in special platform. The project developer will have to provide his personal and contact details.
Do you think this is a good or bad idea? Express your opinion.

Actually it's good due to many people double their account for joining ICO which has a limit buy.
So, KYC is pretty good for buying an ICO or doing bounty for the project
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I lost it? on: October 13, 2018, 03:48:35 PM
Hello guys, I logged in one morning to notice that I have been brought back to newbies, instead of Jr member I was, or even promoted to a member.
I don't really know what happened. But I noticed seeing lot of people as newbies, and  I can't do any signature campaign again. what should I do, to gain my rank back. Please help if you have an idea.

You should need new rules.
You'll need a merit to break a newbie, this things applied due to many people create multiple accounts and joining many bounties at the same time.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: October 13, 2018, 03:11:18 PM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.

Many of them are good but most of them are scam and just an "idea" but they don't really make it.
So we have to careful of choosing it
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: October 13, 2018, 02:07:46 PM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call

Will really takes time too much where there are thousand investors or bounty hunters.
It's better to ask them to upload a video with required things to say
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 12, 2018, 07:55:19 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

There will be always bad guys that always want to steal our hardwork and it can be never over.
So, we have to be more careful
