41  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 25, 2021, 09:17:01 AM
That's the problem with centralised exchange. Once the founders is tempted to steal the money they have in their platform, they could run away with it and leave no trace. History really repeats itself. I just wish binance wouldn't do same thing with this. Lol.

I heard and then read on the internet it was an investment platform that fled with $3.6 billion of Bitcoin but here I see you guys are discussing about an exchange that I doubt.
People should not store cryptos on exchanges or wallets where the crypto owner does not hold total control of them.

Investors should not fall for these kinds of investment programs nowadays when so many scams are coming up frequently. Rather staking can be a good option where you will have complete control.

Binance is now so big with their own coin, I am doubtful of what you said about them running away. Also, they earn from us when we trade or perform activities to make money, so I believe they will not run away still I hope they don't because this is a very rough world.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: June 24, 2021, 09:50:54 AM
we don't have to worry about the decline in btc. even though recently the price has dropped.maybe this is very influential for the investors. but we can work around this by holding it for a time that we can't determine. with the price dropping we can buy it, to hold it for a long time.and can release it when the price goes up.because this is a long-term investment

For old holders or investors, it is obviously easy to maintain this calmness but I do understand what and how it is for the new investors. Introducing many to this industry I am facing multiple questions regarding these and I see many want to drop out even when they are at loss just to prevent further loss as they mostly think this is not going to sustain. Personally, I am not worried about the decline, rather I find opportunities to gain more profit as you said, buy at low and sell it when it goes up, and based on the current scenario this is fairly possible. Most importantly patience is the key as really it is a long term thing because it might happen you bought at $30k thinking that it will rise but unfortunately it went more down and at this point, you have to have your patience which can turn to be 1 month or even more than a year.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: June 23, 2021, 04:37:24 PM
Responsible gambler for me is gambling with a line which we should not cross or you can say a limit which helps to prevent huge loss during gambling. I know it is tough for a few and some would say this is not possible but long-term gamblers play with caution. If somebody is here to just have fun and go all in what they have earned then being a responsible gambler does not count or matters.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 23, 2021, 04:09:11 PM
In gambling, only luck plays a vital role apart from the player's instinct, knowledge, and gameplay for few games. Apart from these prayer will just help to keep calm while gambling which is also important while you gamble especially during poker because not always it will go as the player thinks.
Even if one does not have luck with calmness with them would do wonders as seen live on tables.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 23, 2021, 03:29:43 PM
Germany have the best chance with Hungary in sure this will win they want to chase points from a fierce match between France vs Portugal. I think Germany can overcome the problem before after losing to France and winning with Portugal with a lot of goals and now Hungary will be easier for Germany to win without the pressure.

Ronaldo will definitely be full of pressure with France this is a very tough match both of them want to win to stay through to the next round, while France has so many best players And Ronaldo only relies on their squad to stay solid.
I doubt Portugal can win with France.
Germany should win today, I don't know if the match will be easy for them, because Hungary in match with French were able not to concede a goal. It will be very difficult for Portugal, that's for sure, but nothing is impossible, good defensive play and one goal can decide the outcome of the match. I suppose that all three teams, except Hungary, will be able to advance to the next round, since the 4 teams that took the third place in the group will also have a chance and further participation in the tournament.

Germany will win the game against Hungary today. All are playing quite well and unexpected gameplay can be noticed but Germany played the last match so well that it seems they found their strategy to win every match.
Portugal will also qualify even after facing difficulty in the recent game but the way they started shows they are capable to find their way up on this Euro.
Yes, I agree that Hungary will probably not qualify due to the other teams only, no doubt they are a good team.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: June 23, 2021, 02:16:37 PM
I think should not bother if Tesla has sold all their coins because as time will pass by authentic investors will pour into the crypto world which will make it grow past the price created by the FUDs. I do understand Elon Musk has a good amount of followers who follows him blindly with stupidity but this will pass too. This will be termed as an incident where an influential businessman took advantage of his worth.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: June 23, 2021, 01:33:00 PM
Hi
I was just wondering if it was too late to invest into Bitcoin atm?
In the world of trading, it's never too late, if you understand how it works.

Speaking of investment maybe yes, you are too late to do it, you should not do it now, when the price of cheap Bitcoin 2018-2019 is the right time to do it.

However, if you trade futures, for example: hourly, minute and today is the right time you take profit, for that you have to really understand the movement of Bitcoin, miscalculation you can lose, right calculation you profit, it's a trading risk.
Before you make a trade you must have knowledge first, that's the key.
I totally agree with what you're saying, it's never "too late" to continue to know and do whatever you can do, and it's never too late to give up. analysis is important but direct practice with a small nominal is a must because with us experiencing mistakes there we can learn not to do that again.

Yes, if we can do that in 2018-2019, it will be very profitable. but if you want to invest, just whenever you want to do it, but specifically for bitcoin you can do it. because the value when you now buy with invest it will eventually be missed at renewable prices. because bitcoin has that character that is always updating the value every time to continue to increase. so just do it without a problem because you have to be sure of it too, because the funds needed are quite large.

or maybe you want to trade, that's very clear especially if you can analyze it well and day trading is now quite profitable, because the price difference that changes quickly is very profitable to do that. Once again, you have to be smart in analyzing and patiently not panicking.

Obviously, it is never too late but I believe in the right timing considering the fact that it is one of the important factors to make profits apart from analysis and related knowledge. If one wants to invest whenever they want, they must have a strong heart to not lose hope and panic because as per my experience panic defeats everything.
So, I agree that even after analyzing, being patient and not panicking is important in both investing and trading.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible to lose all your money invested Bitcoin in 2021? on: June 23, 2021, 12:03:05 PM
Every fall of Bitcoin made people believe that it will go down to zero or will be doomed but it revived from the fall and rise stronger. Whoever invested in 2021 is not going to lose if and only if they all hold them. This thing has happened multiple times in the past. Just because the market is falling and getting worse does not mean the price so high will only give losses on investments.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: June 23, 2021, 10:23:44 AM
Newbies or learners like me obviously require to use the stop loss feature while trading in order to prevent losing more than we can afford at the early stage. I think it is important because personally, it was affecting me psychologically as I was losing more and this made me stop trading for a few weeks.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your trading strategies ? on: June 23, 2021, 08:59:03 AM
As of now, I am learning to trade more frequently on a daily to daily basis. I am learning it slowly and taking quite a good amount of time due to changing market every day.
I usually invested but to maintain a good income from this resource I have to trade.
I have been following the market and some mentor's advice before I make my own decisions to trade, focusing on small profits trying to increase daily.
But not everyday is the same but I completely focus on the market which helps me a lot, yet not sure if I can rely on this strategy as I grow.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 16, 2021, 11:47:32 PM
Given the scenario, based on my current situation I prefer and I have to rent an apartment rather than buying one because situations are getting worse and with increased expense due to rise of cost of the essential products and needs it is important to save as well. I am focusing a little bit more on saving nowadays due to the pandemic which is extremely uncertain.
I would love to buy or build a house so that the increasing rental cost does not affects me for lifelong.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 16, 2021, 11:35:10 PM
We successfully resisted at $30k and quickly regained the catalyst in El Salvado, Taproot, Elon & Tesla.  Assume that the market is going to form a short sale, returning to the $30k level after rallying more than 13% yesterday.  That would be goddamn madness.  Elon and Tesla are still in the game, but I don't think they'll ever act back for the trust of this community.  43k-45k coming this week is reasonable given good conditions.  Personally, I'm ready. The indicators on the chart have changed significantly.

With Elon Musk still playing around I am still being cautious because I now don't trust this person and his actions if it is related to crypto only. But with growing acceptance and faith for Bitcoin we might have resisted it but just to be on the safer side don't put all in one basket.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 16, 2021, 10:56:28 PM
Big YES for that but to know when, it is really hard to answer and nobody could tell neither.

Well, the adoption is in the process and continuous improvement. It can't be done so quickly depending on how the people/user will adapt to it. A lot of factors could affect this and one of these things is because of its volatility. Many establishments are still doubts and they are also afraid of losing their money once the market will dump.

I highly doubt that Bitcoin specifically can be a global payment solution alone because the only thing that bothers me nowadays to transact using Bitcoin is its fees. I still consider the time to be fair enough.
Recently I did search for alternate options to make transactions if the other party accepts or agrees on it. Tron is now one of my priorities to transact as its fees are quite less and the transaction completion speed is faster than Bitcoin as of now.
Hence, I don't know if Bitcoin will be able to make it acceptable as a global payment solution but I believe that surely atleast one crypto apart from BTC will be accepted globally.
I prefer Bitcoin as an asset now more than a mode of the transaction if I have the option.
And as you said volatility is another primary reason that can prevent this from happening.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 16, 2021, 10:32:47 PM
Very good news if this really happens and after El Salvador, if Iran also legalizes cryptos and accepts it for all transactions I think it will boost up more acceptance by multiple other countries but the only factor is that they are not so influential countries to make a huge impact so fast which will invite more countries to accept cryptos as their primary currency or atleast legalize it to remove all kind of ban/block speculations roaming around the market.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 10:16:18 PM
Money is so important in this world now that I would agree that it is affecting the poor. It has just taken the place of the barter system which I think was a very sustainable way to lead a life but with a growing population, it was not possible to continue the system.
I agree with many that money does makes people do anything to achieve it even if it is morally wrong sometimes but also I have seen people resisting any activity just for the sake of money. The individuals who follow money are the ones who are making this world more miserable.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 16, 2021, 09:53:54 PM
Every individual has a different perspective regarding money and happiness. For me, it is not mandatory that if I have money I will be happy but no doubt they are related somehow. I feel I am more comfortable having money as this is important to live a healthy life and health is one of my priorities. Indirectly it is also making me happy because I love to eat good food which also keeps me healthy. So, you see all these are interlinked in this current world.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 16, 2021, 09:40:37 PM
With such a huge craze nowadays with gambling platforms, governments are likely to tax gambling activities. Taxing will surely help them get more revenue. I am just wondering what will happen if they start implementing a tax on the users and the tax rate is quite high than the other taxes we generally pay to the government. That will be ridiculous for sure.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 16, 2021, 09:28:19 PM

What about Portugal, Germany, Spain, Croatia and England? I think they are also pretty good and should not be taken lightly. England will probably try their best to reach the final and I'm sure they have good enough players to do so in this Euro 2020 competition. People keep saying that France is one of the contenders to reach the final, but they have only won 1 match. We'll see how they react in the next game.

FT Italy vs Switzerland 3 - 0
Italy are now one of my favorite team in this 2021 Euro, I never expected them to play so exciting, scoring and keeping their opponent from scoring them, so far in the competition, I think the tournament is among France, Portugal, italy, many may expect England in the list but I do not think they would win it, struggling for a win in their first match.
France has only one a match, but their opponent were Germany and in a group where Portugal resides I think they are good to be on the contenders to win.

Italy really played very well, though it is not my favourite I liked their gameplay and I expect them to play like this with all their future games.
France and Portugal are some of the strong opponents with whom I would like to see them play. I am not judging France on yesterday's gameplay but the way they were playing with such a good team game made me believe firmly they are a good contender in Euro 2020.
Germany had a little disappointing match the other day because we all know how strong they are but this is football and past results cannot judge future gameplays.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: June 16, 2021, 09:16:22 PM
Bitcoin or other altcoins can be stopped by all the governments if they come together but this is not possible because every government has a different perspective against this industry. Few of them are strictly against Bitcoin and few are a little considerate. As of now, only a few countries have completely accepted cryptocurrency and its transaction.
I just hope they don't go crazy and even if they do I feel people will protest a lot and to maintain peace they will eventually withdraw these kinds of stupid decisions.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2021, 09:01:32 PM
Millionaires with an orthodox mentality regarding finance usually do not like cryptocurrencies. I noticed that people who are into the stock market rarely like the crypto industry.
Also, the volatility and few people losing their money might be one of the reasons why they are pissed of with cryptos and the technology which they might not understand is making them go against cryptos so badly.
