621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: December 10, 2017, 01:08:56 PM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

why can you say greedy? we hold bitcoin as a place of investment and savings for the future, if I have a lot of money I would have bought as much bitcoin as possible and hold it and will take profits if the price is very expensive, so storing bitcoin is not greedy but it is a very choice smart.

Exactly, terming it as greed is false. People do it for growing there wealth and its just a desire. But we cannot neglect few people does fall prey of greed, they buy without thinking and also sell without thinking. That is particularly being greedy, the fear which acts is a sign of greed.
622  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we predict if the value of Bitcoin will go up? on: December 09, 2017, 10:40:48 PM
At the present moment I am fonding it pretty hard to predict it, since 2-3 days I made pretty bad predictions. The volatility has gone terrible to day trade.
For long term its going to grow more but initially for the moment I see very few predictions coming right.
Even I realised most analyst predicted $15000 mark would be reached by December end but you can see what happened.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: +75% jump for Litecoin on: December 09, 2017, 09:27:36 PM
That is what i was looking for, it is exactly what is happening right now.

Everybody is moving their funds to litecoin only because of this:

1- The price is getting expensive, and bitcoin is going down.
2- Transactions are usually confirmed in less than one minute; in btc there are more than 180k unconfirmed transactions.
3- Litecoin is more stable, and it is never going down (the opposite of bitcoin)

Another possibility is the transaction fee in Bitcoin is getting expensive and the transactions are going quiet slow so altcoins like LTC would be a good chpice to use when transacting..

Litecoin is probably stable because it has less investors, I doubt what happens if more people incline daily towards Litecoin.
But I agree with the first and second point. Litecoin is getting new investors and transactions are really way more faster with pretty acceptable and low fees. Litecoin is ideal for transaction as its volatility is negligible with fast confirmations and low fees comparing to fiat.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: was trading beneficial for you? on: December 09, 2017, 08:24:37 PM
Yes kind off beneficial in all way. It help me grow my knowledge about marketing, I had to learn technical analysis which helps me in stock market as well.
Also it is a great way earn or grow wealth. Taught me a little bit of Risk and Time Management. Overall it was not and even now its not a waste of time, rather beneficial for long term.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: December 06, 2017, 08:30:59 PM
Real Madrid vs Dortmund, unexpectedly Real Madrid gave a good start with 2 Goals ahead. Most probably they will be winning this match, though it didn't matter to the standings of group stage but it does matter in various other forms. Tottenham on the other hand from same group is also 2 goals ahead of there opponent, which was pretty obvious and predictable.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 06, 2017, 08:08:34 PM
SL has played well under pressure and they will be able to draw this match. They have 5 wickets in hand and need to play another 20 overs around . India would have hoped to win this match the way they played for 3 days. SL came back strongly in 2nd inning and would be satisfied til now the game is going on.

Sri Lanka made this test match draw. well played by SL batsman in 2nd innings.

Wasnt expecting Sri Lanka to make it until the end, kudos to them for holding it tight and making it a draw.At least this time they learned to spend time on grease and handle each of the Indian bowlers.

Seriously this is an unbelievable performance from Sri Lankan team. Last day when they lost 3 wickets just for 30 runs, people thought India would win this match easily, but today they played a real test match and saved the game. I think many people lost their bets on this test match am I right?

Absolutely Brilliant performance, on 3rd day end, it was kind of pointing towards draw, but Cricket recently became very unpredictable. But the way Sri Lankans defended themselves was good. I felt like they at the end was just playing to make it a tie, which is by every way a good move in test.

On the other hand Australian Bowlers, did some fabulous job, the wickets of England were like nothing to them. Starc might have given a good 88 runs to there opponent but those 5 Wickets did the magic. The 2nd Test was pretty enjoyable.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: December 06, 2017, 07:48:40 PM
I think it's hard to replace bitcoin right now because bitcoin is so popular. Bitcoin is also the first digital currency and it's hard to replace it. I'm not sure there will be another coin replacing bitcoin.

At the moment I don't see any coin replacing or overtaking Bitcoin. Bitcoin is well far away from being replaced. Recently people do talk about few Altcoins which has potential to overtake and yes everything is possible, but its just prediction and guessing.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: December 06, 2017, 07:35:57 PM
Surely it is, Bitcoin is one of the most strongest currency, crypto currency to be precise. But I doubt even now most countries don't accept it as legal tender.
Mostly its been still considered as Investment module. Mostly for most people its still a more investment opportunity than a currency which can be used to transact.
629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: December 05, 2017, 05:52:49 PM
Cashout immediately after receiving  if you get BTC or any Altcoins through selling any products and service, as its not an investment, capital is required to continue the flow of product. This is basically if you use it as currency.

But mostly people now use it as investment, then its better to sell when you reach your profit milestone, or even you can wait more by setting new milestone. Actually Cashing out depends on your requirements. If you are in profit you can surely cashout if needed urgently, if in loss hold it more if and only if there is no urgency or alternative methods to fulfill your needs.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to play low stakes Poker with bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 08:19:18 PM
Personal favorite Nitrogensports.eu, also check out Betcoin.ag
Played on both and few others as well. Naming the others is useless, better play on this two sites. Test both and choose on your own or continue playing on both. Easily you will find low stake tables.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 04, 2017, 08:02:44 PM
Day 3 stumps and still SL is trail by 180 runs.SL batted well in first innings as they scored 369 for 9.India have to bat well also in 2nd innings.I think India will get a huge win again.

OTOH, Aus bowled Eng in 227 runs. But Australia lost 4 quick wickets for scoring just 53 runs.Australia is lead by 268 runs.Australia have to scores as much run as they can tomorrow.I think the pitch has turned into bowling pitch so England have to bat carefully in 2nd innings.

Sri Lankan's tried pretty well, but still the trail is huge in terms of wickets remaining. Even if the players plays well, then also I believe its too tough for end batsman. The trail will continue I think and probably if Sri Lankans can hold on it can be a draw or else a huge win for sure.

About the Ashes, Anderson and Woakes just gave a light for them in the tournament. The quick wickets will help them I think. I feel this can be a draw as England batsmanif wwants can defend pretty well.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: December 04, 2017, 07:37:34 PM
Selling it in a panic in previous year fork, I sold quite few I had and now kind of  feel I made a pretty bad decision. Not only once even after I made that mistake, I continued to panic for like Q12017 till I understood and became stable. Also I got into serious gambling issues, but now all are kind of fixed or semi-fixed.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: December 04, 2017, 05:09:02 PM
well it depends on you contentment level if you are contented on the current higher high you can sell and buy on dips or the next lower low but if you are aiming for larger price you can still hold and sell at some point when you are contented perhaps $20,000 is a good point but bitcoin can reach even higher..

Actually it surely depends on numerous factors, the one mentioned surely does counts. Also sudden requirement needs can also be catered by selling your Investment. But completely selling all might not good as surely it does have huge chances to rise more till December end.

635  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's Surpising: Bitcoin Price Touches New Height on: December 03, 2017, 07:53:55 PM
It is just a normal correction after a huge surge, and actually bitcoin price is already surging again to achieve new ATH price soon.
$20k per bitcoin before new year seems possible..

Probably it was a correction and also a panic sell simultaneously. The price is kind of stable, it will roam around $10.5K to $12K for atleast the first 2 weeks of December. But nothing is impossible regarding Bitcoin, but $20k before New Year is way too high expectation and a kind of unrealistic one.
636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: December 03, 2017, 07:14:32 PM
I don't believe in this, yaa, people can predict and it comes true, but its kind of blind hit. I followed a predictor and till now, out of his approx 12 predictions, only 2-4 hit it. Few pump are easy to know as the market itself indicates it clearly. Bitcoin is a unpredictable thing, so its really a blind hit to predict correctly.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how much % should I invest in bitcoin trading? on: December 03, 2017, 06:48:42 PM
Totally depends on the the trader or investor, he/she wants to risk his capital. Trading on a daily basis, I like to put 10-20%, max 30% when I was new and a learner. After reaching to a moderate position I went to 70% max quite a few times. If asking about amount, $400-$800 as for new learners would be good enough, but it depends on the capital individually.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price in future on: December 03, 2017, 12:45:47 PM
In my opinion Ethereum can reach that level, ETH possible pass this price $1,000 in next new year because the fundamental of Ethereum is so strong and the team founder also jenius who always aktif to promote the platform of ETH in many country.

Having good fundamentals with good future it will surely grow. The pace at which its growing might be slow because most newbies who are recently entering takes time to understand Ethereum. As people gets to understand it better they diverse their funds into ETH and all other. So yes ETH in a form of investment will be awesome.
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start with Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 02, 2017, 08:32:09 PM
Why not Both? BTC and ETH each of them is good features and option which makes them sustainable. Bitcoin being the first coin and kind of primary crypto currency, try to focus more on Bitcoin. Also don't forget about Ethereum as it might be a slow moving and stable, but it will also provide result of worthy amount.
Also why do you want to limit yourself to this two only, better diversify more and if you think long term, I believe you will get more coins to invest to get greater returns.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 02, 2017, 08:15:50 PM
Paul Pogba in a moment of madness and stupidity has made Manchester City won the upcoming Manchester debt since he has been suspended for that crucial, it's really a stupid decision on his part to stamp that player and which saw him given a straight red card, Jose Mourinho will certainly be passed by his actions.

The upcoming Manchester derby have become tough for Manchester United. Pogba been suspended will greatly effect the next game. Pogba made a stupid movement, though it felt to be sudden, but the way it happened indicates foul play. The game was clearly a won game, the foolish act was not expected if its intentional one.
