221  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 15, 2018, 06:25:30 PM
Bank will still survive even after the legal adoption of this system, maybe the workforce will get reduced. Things will be based on AI and the other techs, like blockchain. But still bank or financial institutions will exist as I think a country will adopt crypto but totally based on there fiat currency, I mean to say they will create their own cryptocurrency.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 13, 2018, 08:25:43 PM
I strongly believe that a lot of these new mobile games are heavily influencing kids to gamble.  Their minds get very stimulated when they win virtual items like points, achievements, or gems.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as long we we teach them to gamble responsibly and treat it as a side hobby.

Besides that, I often heard from my friends who have kids, sometimes their kids buy something from the other kids to fill their bag with special character. I think this will make their kids spend more money than to enjoy the game. But I think it's okay because as long as they don't play gambling in the early ages Grin But I don't want to teach any kids to play gambling because once they enjoy with the game, then it will make them hard to stop them in the future.

It is quite popular among young teens because they need money other than their pocket money, so this option gets popular when one friend wins. People who have money also gamble for fun, mostly retired peoples play for fun.
Another factor is the challenging factor which is in gambling and mostly between two friends. Many youngsters challenge the other just to win over the other, ego plays a big role here.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 11, 2018, 07:45:12 PM
This will mean 100% digital financial system been adopted, which is quite tough and impractical at the moment. In some countries, there is a lack of proper infrastructure, utility support to apply this change. This will take loads of time, maybe a few decades or maybe a century after this thought clicks in the mind of the officials of the respective country.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: October 11, 2018, 07:24:58 PM
Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are bound to be adopted by the banks, why? they don't have choice as OP mentioned that the capital is there and the banks won't waste opportunity of catching it. At first, it seems odd to see themselves adopting it but they will learn it later on that there's a big market that they can also collaborate with it. As long as there's money, they will not waste any single opportunity like adopting cryptocurrencies.

Banks are not against cryptocurrency, the government is, who generally controls the Banks. And most Governments are not against blockchain, trade between fiat-crypto's are restricted at the moment, this is just to make sure there is no money laundering been taken place. Already I read few countries are planning to adopt Blockchain technology along with plan including to implement their cryptocurrency, I guess then the restriction might be over or will be allowed with regulations.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: October 10, 2018, 08:32:05 PM
The second stage to popularize cryptocurrency is to introduce it into the life of an ordinary person. So that everyone stops crying that their coins are worthless, they are used and then the demand for the purchase of currency will grow and the price of coins will not fall.

Yup, this would be a great option to ensure the fear against cryptocurrencies is gone. But the problem is, if the government makes acceptance a law, I guess they would do it with one particular coin, a single coin, might be stable or the value will be same as of the country-specific fiat. So technically, even then many cryptocurrencies would be invalid unless we have an option to trade other coins with the accepted coin or vice-versa.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of altcoins keep increasing! on: October 10, 2018, 07:09:44 PM
I see alot of altcoins and tokens been introduced into the market every day and I keep wondering if that is how this industry will keep growing.  The number of altcoins does not translate to increase in the over all market capitalization of the cryptocurrencies market and it that means that some of the coins we currently have in the market is not needed!

The more cryptocurrencies the better! It means that there is a strong competition in this sphere. And where there is competition there always is development and progress. That is why the number of new promising coins and blockchains is very important.

Too many competition might have some good side, but it does have some serious drawbacks. Too many altcoins can often create a mess in the market, lower the price as there will be many coins of a similar feature and many coins flop as there are available coins of similar use and feature. But new coins with different and unique ideas will be beneficial for the future and the blockchain technology.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH break its highest record again on: October 08, 2018, 08:21:13 PM
Ethereum is the biggest altcoin, not only thanks to market cap but mainly because they have the biggest crypto developer team on the world!
Do you think that programmers will loose time with project with not future? Wink

Ethereum definitely has a very good chance to touch and even break its old high. But the market is changing daily, and their competitors are are coming in strong. I found WAVES to be another very good alternate option for ETH. So if there is no development I guess they will face tough times even to sustain in the market. But as you said ETH has awesome devs, and its thriving market will ensure its stable future.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 08, 2018, 07:13:21 PM
I've been waiting for a long time and i will still keep on holding my tokens and BTC.
Bull run is the only hting i am waiting in the market now.
I have tons of tokens which i bought at very deep. this will give me another lambo.

Bull will slowly move upward, and holding will be beneficial. But the thing that happened last year December was rather a manipulative whale run, I won't consider it as a proper bull run. This kind of run creates panic and makes people lose faith in this market and restricts new people to enter while they start thinking more than they should. The scenario is changing, I don't know if that kind of run will be seen this time as well, but if it does, I assure you it will end similarly.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: October 08, 2018, 06:08:13 AM
If countries issue their own crypto-exchange system USAcoin, CHINAcoin, ROSSIAcoin, GBcoin, etc. Do you think which of them will initially be expensive and will show growth?

I think it will be like fiat money, because still controlled by government. And like current fiat money, its depending on their economic strenght. I think it can not called cryptocurrency because central banks still control the supply and the value

Absolutely true, it will be like fiat money, but in digitized form. They will be controlled by the government and their value will be determined by worldwide actions and economy. It will be based on blockchain technology probably using cryptography, so we may call it cryptocurrency.
They will have both pros and cons if this happens. This will kind of promote usage of the other coins as they will not be regulated and will be without restrictions, and also it may create problem to the orthodox people and there will be many such pros and cons.
It is quite far-fetched thought, no surety if this is going to happen, if yes, when.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ? on: October 07, 2018, 07:30:50 PM
Bitcoin or any other current cryptocurrency won't be a world currency. Cryptocurrencies which are so manipulated and so volatile, possibility of it being a world currency for all kind of trade or buy-sell seems to be pretty impossible. I guess in future there will be some legalized worldwide accepted crypto being introduced which will then be a currency for this purpose, maybe.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if bitcoin seems to average about 7500 USD on: October 06, 2018, 07:45:48 PM
stable at $ 7500 is not bad but is it possible to last a year? I find it very difficult. and it looks like the end of 2017 increase makes everyone forget how Bitcoin used to be. and we feel the price of bitcoin now is low even though it's already at a pretty high price

Actually, Bitcoin is quite high if you consider the older price at which it was kind of stable as it is now. I think with the adoption of this technology and cryptocurrency as well, the price of 7500 USD might not be possible to resist anymore upward movement. But if it happens, the adoption will increase, even more, usage in various stores, be it online or offline will increase and the miners will be having a good as well as tough times as transaction amount will increase as well.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 05, 2018, 07:55:02 PM
Brighton vs West Ham - I think Brighton will take the 3 points, they showed they’re a good team already beating Man U. I think they’ll keep it tight at the back & grab some scruffy goals.

Brighton gave a goal and it's halftime, even I think they can win against West Ham, though both the team defeated a team like Manchester United. But hey, it'ss football and it's EPL and everything is unpredictable here. Brighton is playing some good game so maybe they will snatch a win in this game, but a draw is a possibility remaining as well.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 05, 2018, 06:50:55 PM
India look set to make a huge total in the 1st innings of 600+ runs if Kohli can stick around and make 100+. WI really need to come out on day 2 and bowl well to keep India under 600 runs because if they get 600+ runs its all over as the WI batting hasn't been performing well in recent times so it would be tough for them. India need to bounce back from their poor test series with England which they look to be doing even though its against a weak test team.

Indians are always good at playing on home pitches but do totally opposite on other countries. India already reached 649 runs and last wicket left and Jadeja is in good form so if Shami give him some support. But the current total is already good enough for this WI to put under pressure and win this match since WI players are not good form. But as you said this huge win may give a very good confidence to Indian players to go to the next match.

India declared 649/9 and west indies lose 3 wickets for 25 runs, Mostly this match india will win with an innings if they all out west indies in low score and give them follow on. West Indies are not playing with their big players so india are having double advantage of home ground and Weak west indies players.

At the end of days play WI are 94/6 and India will force them to play follow on and make WI bat again. So chances are that if WI loose quick wickets game can get over tomorrow or max next day. It is turning out to be one sided match and also Kohli and Jadeja did made the century today.

A totally one-sided game it is and also it turned out to be pretty boring now. A quite predictable game as they already lost their 6 wickets and they will surely be followed on and with this performance by WI, I predict India will win without even batting for 2nd Innings, and it is quite possible.
Indian Cricket team's real challenge will be against Australia, though their 2 best players being out of the game, I believe Aussies will still give some tough fight. Before that in October, we will get to see some good ODI matches, South Africa Tour of Australia, 3 ODIs and 1 T20.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: October 04, 2018, 07:12:49 PM
Fiat currencies have been with us for several years and have done so well. However, the popularity of fiat currencies is reducing with the development of digital currencies which is expected to make financial life easy for people. The use of fiat currencies will continue to drop as more people use cryptocurrency.

It is not about fiat currencies being several years old, but the use is more important. I agree people are willing to use digital currencies, but BTC or any coin will not replace the country-specific fiat currency. The World economy works on the fiat currencies, so yup it is very important that this fiat does exist. Maybe in future fiat physical currency will be gone, but the digital currency will be related to old fiat only.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 04, 2018, 04:15:24 PM
I don't agree like others, the statement is not completely true. One can win in gambling be it a dice or poker or other games. Most important is self-control and little bit practice with luck. Also if you are gambling online, one must ensure the website is genuine. I did encounter many websites which used to let me win 3-4 times, but then it went terribly. And for few games, house-edge checking is a must before playing.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency October discussion on: October 04, 2018, 08:27:52 AM
I think those who thinks that the bull run will start this month, then i guess the current market status as of this moment is somewhat showing them that they're in the right track. Hopefully this is really the start of the bullish market that will continue until December.

I think the prediction is still speculative but till now the market is in favor of them I agree. I personally think October might see it green throughout, but not a very high rise. The manipulators will start their game probably from November mid or end, that is what I guess is going to happen. But even if they don't act like the previous year, we hope to see BTC at near to $15k with some good altcoins giving a good amount of returns as well.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties required KYC. on: October 04, 2018, 02:46:52 AM
Do you agree that Bounty needs KYC?

In my opinion only, I will agree with this policy to avoid multiple accounts or the use of other accounts in bounties. If it has this policy it will be fair to investors and to bounty participants. Scams can be reduced to a bounty. Dumpers can also be reduced.

What is your Opinion?
Free comment.

I agree. Participating in a bounty with multiple accounts is just plain fraud and frowned upon by everyone. I think KYC is a good method to implement to prevent such things and open more doors for other participants who want to make a great deal of cash in participating in bounty campaigns.

Not only KYC is a good method to prevent fraud but also it helps in maintaining country laws. Many countries nowadays urge to implement KYC norms, thus making the project more trustworthy and viable. Also, some projects don't provide their service to selected few countries, and KYC helps them to maintain their own rules and norms.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: October 02, 2018, 07:47:15 PM
It is a condition and not a disease. A disease is where harmful organisms affects your body in a negative way. Gambling addiction also affects you bad but it is only in the mind but you can defeat it by having a string support from your loved ones and also with a good discipline.
Addiction is also can be called as psychological disorder which is disease as well when it can't be controlled by that individual but there are different levels of addiction, the early stages of addiction maybe found in all gamblers and they know when to stop and when to play. But some people even after realize they are over doing it they still wanted to do which needs medical help to cure.

Gambling addiction is not a disease but it can cause disease though. Continuous gambling with no control upon the loss of the money can cause some serious health-related disorder/diseases. Hypertension is one of them leading to a serious heart disorder and also it is a cause of Diabetes along with various other diseases. And be assured the addicted gambler may be hampered mentally as well.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: What manipulators want on: October 02, 2018, 07:07:52 PM
Market manipulation is really uncontrolled by now, Is there any effort doing by any jurisdictions to control this kind of act? Small investors and traders are the ones who are suffering from this and if they cant go on anymore because of really bad market conditions manipulated by crocodiles they tend to sell even in a huge losses and try another means of income.

I guess it is the misfortune of the small traders and investors, in every market, there have been people who manipulated the market, and now still they are doing the same and I believe they will continue to do this and this thing will continue. Especially in the crypto market, the owner of the pump-dump game show is only the manipulators, and basically we have to predict their movements, then only we may make a profit before dump, but not all can be so lucky.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: China moves further towards cashless society on: October 02, 2018, 06:43:24 PM
A cashless society will create a huge problem, though it has some great positive effects on the society. I guess it is too early and with the sudden movement of the country making their citizen fall into trouble and harassment. Our country reduced the ATM daily transaction limit, in the move of the cashless society. Not all stores accept cards or other online payment methods, thus the government doesn't understand if the citizen needs cash suddenly, what will happen.
