I would go for diversification among different 'categories' of cryptocurrencies/assets (e.g. utility vs. security tokens, PoS vs. PoW, different business areas, ..). Btw. nice post among all these similar 'tell me if I should buy XRP' threads  |

They might have skipped an article about Bitcoin investment potential in Financial times and that is their only perception of cryptocurrencies. |

From investment point of view I would split your sum between the two coins. From crypto philosophical point of view I would choose Cardano because Ripple is heavily centralized and probably supply manipulated coin.

Btc gold i believe at the highest peak hit like 450 dollars. Of course you got 1 for everyone btc you owned. I still have not claimed btc gold yet as in do the process with my wallet. Now its worth like 10 dollars. Now this is like saying you didn't sell btc or any altcoin at the highest price. But the thing here is btc gold was given to you for every btc you owned. So because of that, im frustrated. After bitcoin gold came out, i recalled lot of ppl said it would drop in price a lot and many ppl sold it at the 200-300 dollar price when it was out. At the all time high, it was 450 which is a lot.
Anyone here never claimed their btc gold? Only reason why i didn't claim it or even say i claimed it and wouldn't sell it because i thought it would go high just like btc cash. But most ppl back then were wrong when btc price only went up etc.
I sold my Bitcoin Gold after weeks of hesitation for approx. $110 per each. I should have done it earlier .. but everybody can foresee the history  |

Of course cryptocurrencies could be used for payment - and they already are used for it. It is all about transaction fees and scaling when it comes to retail transactions, it seems that coins like Bitcoin Cash excels at it. |

No currently is our only goal to make a bigger community. We are too small for now that anyone would take us seriously. For now, we are only contacting breweries for permission to use their beer bottle images on our platform and some have questions about the project. Well planned, it is important to show the strength of community to your business partners. First things first, I bet breweries will willingly cooperate. |

I haven't read the report you linked but XRP is vulnerable to such manipulation due to its centralization. Moreover, I would bet there is more of coins that artificially inflate their supply to reach higher market cap.
