401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: February 06, 2024, 12:47:41 PM
the thought of being rich and lucky, rich people will also hope for luck in gambling, but from the beginning I read you might think and want to use gambling activities to get extra money, right? For me personally, that's the wrong thought in gambling, if you want to have a lot of money work and save, don't try gambling even if you are rich, in gambling money is worthless, friend

That's right, if you are poor and want to save money for the future, don't play and take the risk of doubling your money in a rush because you don't make things easy for your life with that especially when you become addicted and lose your money overnight. You will have anxiety about how to quickly recover it and might end up taking loans to get back what you have lost which is the worst decision you could ever make to your life. instead, just move on and never try it again because you might not just gonna lose it this time but you will end up becoming addicted while you are not capable of getting back that money easily like others.
402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies how do you feel when your post is criticised. on: February 06, 2024, 12:01:15 PM
Usually, those who criticized your post are helping you to improve but you just need to be positive and take your time well the next time you are about to post something, especially when it comes to sharing some knowledge about security and prevention since there are lots of people here that are more eligible to share preventive methods against scammers but are just shy to share it to others via creating topic but when they want to genuinely help you, they won't hesitate to post a reply to your topic so that by next time, you will improve a lot just like what happened to me throughout the years I was year in this community.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: February 06, 2024, 11:27:47 AM
The crypto market is very uncertain, therefore we must always be careful and alert to its movements, and most importantly, don't easily trust people who claim to be market experts, it's best to monitor and learn with your own confidence, if we always follow and read market movements.  then we can easily determine what we want to do.  Even though the results are disappointing, at least we are confident and believe in what we have learned.

Most likely they are influencers who are investors as well and they have been paid to promote certain projects they have collaborated with the owners because when they say that the price is gonna increase that day, it will increase without a doubt but this is just a trap because next time there will be more lots of people who will follow their advise because they already witness him before, but this time, there will be no more price increase but instead the owner will dump their coins and the new investors will be left with that huge amount of coins without any progress or updates from their owners anymore because it is officially abandoned by this time. So we need to be vigilant and not rush our investment just because of the influencers we watch on YouTube and other social media.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 06, 2024, 10:53:21 AM
What happened to the Lakers? Grin I mean, they've been winning more often lately, and they've even improved their spot in the standings a little bit. The surprising thing is also that LeBron and Davis are becoming more and more active on the court, as well as players like Reaves and Russell. By the way, LeBron recently had a triple-double against the Warriors, and now Davis has a triple-double against the Hornets. Have they finally found their rhythm?

With this kind of games recently, they are holding their position well and not giving up on trying their luck to win playoff games if ever they manage to enter the playoff tournament without worrying about the play-in knockout rounds like last time. But right now, they should prefer their plan to beat the Denver Nuggets because that's when they hit the wall when they are against the Nuggets they don't have enough players to counter their offense and great defense since LBJ is slowing down, they are now in need of more players to survive that round unlike before.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy BTC NOW? on: February 06, 2024, 10:29:00 AM

We saw Bitcoin reach around $49k after the Bitcoin ETF was approved. It reached 38 thousand dollars by dumping from $49k. Bitcoin is now between $38,000 and $43,000. But since we have seen the market dump before the Bitcoin halving, we can expect dumping before the Bitcoin halving. It is still a good time to invest in Bitcoin but if anyone thinks Bitcoin will buy from more dumping conditions then you can wait. But it is better to invest using DCA method because even if there is no dumping of market, if you invest in DCA method from now then your investment success will be more.

This might be the last chance for us to see a price as low as this one because when another company announces their implementations of bitcoins, surely the price will further increase and will not give us another chance to buy this low and that's why this is the right time to buy if you have been doubting since last year because the bitcoin halving is approaching and there won't be a better time to buy other than today. After the price crashed not so long ago, we see that it recovered again and it's still at $40,000+ this is an indication that we are holding solid ground rather than seeing the price to further after the ETF event.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: February 05, 2024, 12:08:53 PM
I don't have any wild experiences outside of gaming and art like you said, or is holding an NFT for a collection until it has no price a wild experience? Smiley
i have some nfts that i collect and the price dropped almost 100%

That's exactly what happening right now some people are facing charges due to the promises they made when they sell those NFTs and they are facing multiple charges because of it. Just like what most investors said in its earliest days, this trend will be subsided and eventually forgotten because there are lots of popular investment platforms that are being made throughout time while bitcoins and other cryptos are becoming popular in other countries and also in some big companies.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: February 05, 2024, 11:20:16 AM
Yeah as no employer wanted to see their employees doing unrelated things especially those that involved in gambling during duty hours as it is against the company's policy. As an employee I followed every single rules and regulation not to brag this but yeah gambling don't work with me while I am on duty. I can do it on my free time if I want to but no.

Let alone gambling, I can't even open my social media account whenever my boss is around though he won't scold me he always says nicely that I need to be productive to his company whenever I am done with my work for that day, my leisure time with the computer should be related to my work about researching for its improvements and looking for suggestions to further improve it. Nevertheless, That's what we should do while we are at work because we cannot afford to lose our jobs just because we are eager to play online games or just look at our social media account while our boss is monitoring us.
408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good thing about your government? on: February 05, 2024, 10:40:24 AM
what's the best thing your government has done which should be followed by other nations?

I think the best thing we have that other nations don't have is the free will to practice our religion and that's the best thing you could ever have at home unlike in some other countries where they almost banned everything except for Christianity and some countries are not suitable to live due to the danger of the people who don't acknowledge your religious activities and they always make a plot to terminate you just like what happened to some friends of mine who were deported because they didn't follow the rules and forced to leave the place where they worked.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: February 05, 2024, 10:03:08 AM
Absolutely! Gambling with loaned money can lead to financial distress and significant risks. It's crucial to avoid using borrowed funds for gambling activities to protect yourself from potential financial harm and ensure responsible financial management.

Some people who are not aware of the things that are about to happen with their life while in this state especially when they are too addicted to play and started to take loans just to satisfy their hunger for their addictions, are prone to lose everything they have including their precious properties whether their home or their cars which they used for their livings. Some people in our community are like this and most of them already lost the house that has been donated by the government to them because they actually sold it just to fund their addictions and they are now homeless or just living with their other family members because they are already broke.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 05, 2024, 09:29:13 AM
Like money, gold, and valuables, Bitcoin can be stolen. If the Bitcoins are stored in a safe place i.e. if the wallet in which they are stored is hacked then it is possible to steal the Bitcoins as well. Everyone should store Bitcoin storage devices securely so that no one can hack those wallets.

No computers are safe, because scammers are all over the place on the internet and they can just simply use some plot twist to fool you and make you think that it is just normal software that you used to use but they already injected their malware into it so that they can steal some necessary information to access your wallets which happened to many bitcoiners when they loosely just hiding their keys on their computers and ended up getting hack because they were not aware of the hacker's tactics nowadays.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 05, 2024, 09:04:13 AM
Obviously this is not about title or victory but about the weight of the two which is quite far apart, this is the main reason why Davis refuses to meet the KO monster Inoue.
After all, Inoue has also perfected the title he earned and now only time will tell whether he stays or will jump to a division above him by trying to become challenger for other champions in higher class.

They cannot force themselves to fight each other while there are lots of opportunities waiting for them and they could just simply make this fight happen after they successfully beat every challenger and run out of any available opponent that could fit their strength. Anyway, that would be best for them if they could just wait before making any arrangements for their fight because as we know, Inoue is slowly making a world record for himself and not letting this chance go to waste because this is not something others can have to demolish everyone who wants to challenge him and take their belts.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Safe is MetaMask? on: February 05, 2024, 08:27:03 AM
It has always been advised not to hold your assets in exchanges. it is a very risky venture to do so.
As for metamask, I have been using it for years and I have had no security isssues using them. I speak for myself though, someone might have a contrary opinion.

Same for me because I have been using it and sent and received huge amounts of ETH already from it and there were no problems encountered by me but that does not mean that others have the same experience as well because most users' recommendations are not these kinds of wallet rather a hard wallet that only you who have the full authority to control it. Let's just say if you don't have any alternatives or you have not bought any hard wallet yet, you can always use it just like others using Electrum for their alternative Bitcoin wallets since they don't have enough budget to buy hard wallets yet.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: February 04, 2024, 11:42:02 PM
The platform itself won't scam you but when you are doing p2p trades there is some risk that that you might get scammed if you are receiving a payment which can be charged back. If you don't use escrow you can be scammed also. This happened to me once when I was using a new p2p exchange where I wasn't familiar how it worked and mistakenly sent a payment before the other user's funds were in escrow. I got scammed but it wasn't a major loss. You should start out with smaller trades when you are just beginning.

Even in the popular exchanges that have some of these P2P features, scammers are wreaking havoc and I've nearly become a victim of their scam because of how their fraud works. they sent me a screenshot which an evidence that they already sent the fiat that I was asking for, the amount was correct and they nagged me to send the BTC to them but when I watched closely, the account number wasn't mine, and when I realized I was talking to a scammer and he nearly got me with his old trick. so you just better not to lower your guard with these guys because anytime they could betray you.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 04, 2024, 11:08:09 PM
=

Bulls won't get anywhere close to what they are looking to get from him.  With him being hurt who is going to trade a better player for someone who might end up being shut down for the rest of the season.  The report says 6 or so weeks but you never know with these types of things how his body will respond.  His value went down significantly with that injury.

Just like the others who were exploding and close to making their team a great contender in the league but then injuries got them and their skills and value has crashed dramatically because of it. now they no longer have any plan for him in terms of their progress in the team rather they are interested in trading him now. Man, they were unstoppable a few years back with DeRozan and Lonzo Ball, but because of their consistent injuries, their team didn't even make it to the semi-finals.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 02, 2024, 12:34:18 PM
That was an impressive win by Lakers without Bron and AD. Austin Reaves led his team one more time. Brown and Tatum were cold, Celtics played awful as a team and they have the right to play like that sometimes. This is a regular season game after all. Betting conspiracy theorists are already writing about this match though. Grin

That's why they kept this guy because this kind of confidence and dedication with basketball skills like that, can make him the next Lakers cover if he can win more games without those star players. And we are talking about a big-time team they just beat last night, the one that has the potential to be crowned the NBA champion this season but when Reaves exerted all necessary efforts to win the game, he could do it and the fans didn't expect this to happen but as we witnessed earlier, everything is possible inside the court with this guy around.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Updates policy allowing bitcoin and crypto assets trust to be advertised. on: February 02, 2024, 11:47:54 AM
Google giving the green light to advertise crypto stuff, including Bitcoin, is pretty cool. It means more projects can reach a bigger audience. And with Bitcoin ETFs getting the nod, it might bring in more traditional investors, making the whole crypto scene even more interesting. Exciting times ahead more opportunities with bitcoin

It's another big huge step forward for the crypto community because this kind of exposure with Google is something that we really need this time and it will shut all hostile groups on spreading bad rumors against Bitcoin because it is now partnered with strong and decent companies such as Google. Now we are going to have more on the boat because Google ads are everywhere and no one could deny its popularity. This timing is nice since we are in the Halving season and it can create a good atmosphere for the investors and they might gonna buy more bitcoins just because of it.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 01, 2024, 01:11:37 PM
Similarly, with the Bucks, adjusting to a new coach can indeed impact both the team's defense and overall performance. Two games might not be sufficient to assess Doc Rivers' impact accurately. Patience is key, and giving them around 10 games to find their rhythm seems like a fair approach. As fans, it's important to allow the team the space and time needed to adapt to changes, and then make a more informed judgment on how the acquisition of a new coach has influenced their performance. Let's hope for positive progress in the upcoming games.

They just need to win their next game and I'm sure they can do it since they are a strong team in the East they can easily win against the Dallas Mavericks if they can easily stop their scorers but obviously that's exactly what they are lacking because most players in the NBA today can score after Curry's prime era, they practiced to shoot from afar and can just score without any proper defense. What the Bucks need to do is to fix their adjustment on their defense since they don't have Jrue Holiday anymore, they can acquire some free agent to fill that position and talk to him that his job is only to strengthen the defense. that's one of their ways to prevent some losing streak because it is not fit for them to have that record while they have some best players on their team.
418  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skill key to success! on: February 01, 2024, 12:33:02 PM
I say is not always skills but rather knowledge that benefits because this is the reason why people don't hit any dead end because they know exactly what they are doing based on what they have learned from others and also have read from different stories. while skills will not gonna make you successful forever because it has an expiration and most of the time, you are replaceable by someone more skillful than you. But when you have proper knowledge on how to be successful, your job doesn't matter to you as long as you are living the way you want by having the peaceful life that others are dreaming of while they are a millionaire because of their skills.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Different wallets for each buying origin? on: February 01, 2024, 12:05:34 PM
Agree with post above that there is not much need to have separate wallet for each KYC exchange that you use. Though, it may helpful for account purposes and tracking of your coins, rather than mixing everything in one place.
Having separate wallet for non KYC exchanges isn't bad idea, but I think it's not must have thing for everyone. Personally, I have my BTC in several different wallets, but KYC/non-KYC isn't one of reasons why I do.

I think it's just best to mix them if you don't have much time to diversify them into other wallets but if you can easily do so, then it's preferable because it has lots of advantages and you can secure it more. One of the advantages is you can simply use one wallet for your main transaction on exchanges and others are for mere storage and there are many more usable that you can choose from. You just need to have some good memories because to separate your wallets you need to remember them well and not forget some important details on where you put them or you will gonna lose them forever just like what happened to others when doing it and they can't remember it anymore.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: February 01, 2024, 11:27:04 AM

It's true that when we start to get out of control, it's a good idea to take a break from the world of gambling for a long time, this will stop addictive activities for a while. And we also don't have to assume that people who gamble are addicted because some gamblers are responsible be responsible in carrying out his activities so that he does not worry that there will be problems for him due to his gambling.

If it goes wrong like you cannot distinguish right from wrong after getting addicted to gambling or drugs and others, this is when the problem starts because this will be hard to cure and the healing process is completed because there are lots of procedures to get back to your old self. you need to have lots of adjustments and one of them is to migrate to other places that don't have any of these problems and no people out there can influence you back to your old habits. that's why if you don't have such capability, just stick to the rules of prevention is better than cure.
