961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: August 29, 2023, 11:08:27 AM
Successful gamblers are never addicted to gambling.  Because those who are addicted to gambling deviate from their normal thinking and greed works in them due to which they cannot gain anything good from gambling.  On the other hand they suffer a lot from gambling.  However, those who are successful gamblers do not gamble for a long time but think a lot and do a lot of research and then invest in gambling. Don't panic while gambling but gamble with a cool head. And finally they succeed. they are the real gainers

Obviously, that kind of person is already drowned in this bad habit and only when he finally realizes he is doing it wrong he can stop to play or someone whom he takes as a real adviser will tell him to stop or else he just won't stop until it's finally the end of the game where he loses everything and doesn't have any money to play anymore. before this happen to anyone they need to consider doubling their intentions so that they can pure themselves from any of these critical way of thinking because if they don't evaluate and ponder upon themselves, most likely they gonna just simply ruin their lives if they don't know what are the risks of this action.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: August 29, 2023, 10:41:05 AM
I only invest in ETH among the projects you mentioned. The remaining projects carry risks as they are older projects with large market capitalization. There's a high possibility that they might not have the potential to drive the price significantly higher or might experience stagnant or declining growth instead of growth.

I consider Matic as a good investment opportunity after ETH as well because it has been quite while since we have had such kinds of impressive projects but the competition in the crypto market is tight and they couldn't last long if they don't make some development that has never been done before by their competitors. Looks like next year is also good news for the altcoin holders because we will have another bull run season and we already know how the price will rise after that. so it's better to choose the right altcoins to invest in right now while their price is not yet expensive.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 28, 2023, 11:54:13 PM
As we are protecting our bitcoins today, there's no tendency that we would be protecting it forever and also ripe the benefits of it in the end. so it's better to have someone whom you can rely on and trust for whatever will happen to you, he or she will inherit your crypto assets and will have easy access to them once you are gone. But this is not an easy task because there are lots of people out there whom we know but don't earn our trust. that's why you need to be careful even when you talk about your crypto wealth because if not, you might go in an expected way. you know what I mean right? In that case, I know something called delay email or delay text message or chat message where it automatically sends whenever you are not around anymore probably in 6 months. you can try from that and it might work for you I guess.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 28, 2023, 11:53:25 AM

Paul is undoubtedly one of the best point guards in NBA history,  at least because he ranks third for assists. He is behind only Kidd and Stockton. So, I think it will be interesting to see how the Paul-Curry duo will perform in the upcoming season. Paul will most likely contribute to Curry, as well as Thompson, throwing more wide-open three-pointers.

Undoubtedly, he will contribute some experience and skills and I think it will significantly increase the chance of GSW to get back to the NBA finals once again. They really need to fix their team right now because their last season's performance was not really good and even if they managed to beat the Lakers that time, they cannot beat the destined champion Denver Nuggets because they are losing their focus due to the fact of their not getting the best play from Pooles and the splash brothers also not doing well that time.
965  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of scammers. on: August 28, 2023, 10:29:19 AM
Just last year our government imposed strict rules on phone network companies because of these frauds and they've done well since it decreased the results of scams nowadays. But this kind of fraud you are talking about is only in the movies, I never thought someone could actually mimic our voice, and the worst of the matter is, that they are using it to scam others with the voice they recognized as their friends and families. that's why we always need to update ourselves in terms of how to prevent ourselves from becoming victims of such kinds of scams because they always get updated and know exactly what to do to fool their victims.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 28, 2023, 09:11:45 AM
If this is true, then he should aim for the knockout because obviously when won't be judged fair in this fight because of what he did in the fast throwing some trast talks to Inoue without thinking this time would happen when he goes to Japan to fight. Well, he already has a bunch of dirty fights on his list if it turns out that way, he knows what to do but I hope it won't be like when he fought the guy in Argentina where they lost their temper and started to throw things on him after he knocks out their guy.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto scam: A retired correction officer charged as defrauded $600,000 on: August 28, 2023, 08:27:10 AM
This is clearly a Ponzi Scheme but when you don't have any idea of what is it all about then you will just get blinded by the good-to-be-true offers especially when bitcoins season is going on and when its price is currently at its peak, the news will often publish positive feedback with it and the results are taken advantage by such scammers using the opportunity to fool the others. This is why we need to be careful when it comes to some kinds of offers such as this one because we never know that we are just being lured and when we take their bait that's the start of our loss in our investment. It's always important to shield yourself with enough knowledge before making any investment when it comes to the crypto industry.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 28, 2023, 07:31:29 AM

Tyson Fury has never had a healthy lifestyle and I've never seen ripped Fury after all but there was a time when he tried and still he looked chubby because he has a lot of subcutaneous fat and it's very hard to get rid of it, plus, as far as I remember, he said he isn't that disciplined and can't say no to tasty foods. To summarize, he doesn't want to put the effort to lose weight and get ripped because it brings absolutely zero value to him and he is not a person who cares about looks. So, he eats whatever he wants and has fun.
The fact is, he beats people, he beats everyone, he beats people who dedicate their life to training and diet, who constantly look at numbers on computers to check their conditions and every statistics.

He might just think of how good is he even if he didn't do something about his weight, The dude still has the power to knockout heavyweights and that's all he needs since he already proved it against Wilder thrice. Now that he looks heavier than before, I don't think he will be that serious when he fights Ngannou because he is full of himself and thinks the guy is an easy fight. well! we can't really understand how Fury thinks since he always finds his way to win every fight. let's just see how will it turn out this time.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting btc of tuitions payments for College/students? on: August 28, 2023, 07:03:43 AM
Is it possible in future students to pay tuition with cryptocurrency like btc or another. As we all know that only stable money can run a country, moreover btc price is unstable so you can't do that even if you want to.

I believe there are some college schools that are already doing this where they also accept bitcoins for their student's enrollment. giving them the opportunity to use their bitcoins and the schools are willing to take the risk in order to have some investment in bitcoins as well. I don't know if that went well for the school because I never heard any news of such kind nowadays. But to be honest, that's how it should be because despite the hostility of the other nations against bitcoins, others shouldn't be bothered with it and we should actually have such kinds of options when paying tuition in schools.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 24, 2023, 02:09:05 PM
^ I have my doubts that Zion will ever be able to play a full 82 game season. He’s just too big to be a professional basketball player. The speed and strength of this guy almost ensures an injury. Healthy, he’s the most dominant player the NBA has seen since Shaq, and more athletic than a young LeBron. If they did figure out how to keep him healthy for the rest of his career, he would no doubt be one of the best to ever do it.

He got the best contract in his rookie year They thought he was gonna be a phenomenal player who will bring the team in the championship in the future but his been prone to injuries every year and hasn't been playing complete games in a season since then. That's right if they cannot figure out how they gonna effectively use him without risking too much in a game, then their dream of getting the championship will still be a dream for a long long time because Zion's skills are rusting and won't improve if he doesn't play much basketball in the NBA and learn to adjust so that he won't get injured too often.
971  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meta breaks privacy rules... AGAIN on: August 24, 2023, 01:30:33 PM
This kind of war has been going on for a while now and I just can't understand how they really want to get those people's data. Now that they are caught red-handed once again, other countries will surely check their privacy as well and they will just make some investigations as to whether their data has been breached as well. Meta has been accused lately of stealing their user data without consent and I'm really afraid if they have everything saved in their storage and they have all our data as well. If that's really true, then using social media is not safe anymore.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin at this Price limit its Global Adoption? on: August 24, 2023, 12:42:36 PM
It doesn't matter when the price spikes and it reaches another new level of ATH again because those who can't afford it can just simply buy satoshis that are worth how much they are willing to invest in bitcoins in the meantime. it won't affect the people much but for the early investors, it will become the best moment of their life since their patience and perseverance are now paid and they are ripping the fruits of their success. Sometimes people worry about things that don't really concern them when the truth of the matter is, when something like that happens, I'm sure people will quickly adjust and do the things they are convenient.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 24, 2023, 11:20:27 AM
Overall this is a good match and definitely, both fighters will do their best and won't give any chance to their opponent to win against them. I think Ancajas still can box Though he didn't improve since he kept losing his fights against Fernando Martínez, he still has the power and the ability to upset his opponent especially when they underestimate him. There will be no better chance for him to regain his honor than fighting Takuma Inoue and adding some winning streaks to his record in order to get the chance to win another championship belt in their weight division.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: August 24, 2023, 10:43:19 AM
Since after FTX collapse cryptocurrency market has not been recovering and that is the root of Bear market which takes many people unaware of the crypto market not being recovery for a long term now, but have to accept the fact and believe that crypto market we recovered by entry Bull Run, which is the time to buy more coin's and have the patience of holding for target price of sell.

Bearish markets always happened in the crypto industry and it won't be any problem for veteran investors because they know eventually the market will recover in the future after all of these things are done. if the drama about FTX hadn't happened investors would just blindly invest their money in some centralized coins which is not a good idea at all. As we can see it happened so fast and while we were asleep, the price was cashed suddenly, and without even knowing along with the decline of the price our capital is also decreasing dramatically and doesn't have any chance to recover.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 23, 2023, 11:48:12 AM
I don’t know how serious the trade scenario of Karl Anthony Towns for Damian Lillard was, but apparently it was serious enough for Portland to comment that they don’t want KAT. I’m a little surprised by that, as I don’t think they’re going to be able to get a better player for Dame, but maybe they just want lots of draft picks or something.

I would definitely say with him the trade is fair enough and they cannot ask for more unless the Timberwolves want to give some more just to get Dame. But the trade was off so probably they were just asking for more and an unreasonable price for Dame which didn't go right for both teams. Let's see what team will be interested in Dame this year will they be successfully traded him this time or they will be just like the Lakers who struggled to trade Russel Westbrook as well?
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you go about realizing gains? If you opt not to, what is your reason? on: August 23, 2023, 10:23:31 AM
We're currently experiencing a bear market phase. How do you intend to secure profits once the market undergoes a turnaround? What proves to be the most formidable obstacle in executing this strategy? If your intention isn't to convert profits back to fiat, kindly explain your philosophy regarding this choice. Newbies in this platform like me could gain insight from your past experiences.

In this kind of scenario, I don't really care about it because the first time I expected this thing to happen, and to be honest when this bearish trend will still be here, I don't have any problem with it because my investment in bitcoins won't really matter at this time because I have some other sources of income which I can rely on. I'm not gonna be like the others that put all of their money in it and some of them took loans in order just to invest in bitcoins, that is not a recommendable way because stress and anxiety will hunt you when a bearish market occurs and you won't have any peace of mind since you have nothing to rely on in terms of your financial needs.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: August 23, 2023, 09:45:47 AM
Although Dubois has a very good record, but it seems this will be an easy fight for Usyk because Dubois name isn't included in the top 10 The Ring and in the top 9 BoxRec. Dubois was lose against Joy Joyce, Joyce has a name in heavyweight boxing division, it's obvious Usyk is tougher than Joyce. Even though Usyk's last four fights aren't won via KO, I think this time he might win via KO.

I think this is just a warm-up fight for Usyk since it seems they cannot find a good fighter to fight him this time and in order not to rust, he needs some tune-up fight until they can find someone who will take him to another big stage once again. I have not heard of him for a while now I thought he wasn't going to a fight until I saw this post, that is just one indication that this kind of fight is not that important and they didn't hype this because obviously, the profit is not much.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What features are now expected from cryptocurrencies? on: August 23, 2023, 09:21:27 AM
There are a lot of cryptocurrencies on the market right now, from those that focus on privacy to those that focus on development.
What other features or technologies are out there that people are hoping to get?

More liquidized and more decentralized like bitcoins because this is the only way to overcome other competitors nowadays especially those who are starting to make their own crypto projects. the market has gone too far now and they should have come up with new valid things that are not only imaginations in their roadmaps which most likely are not true. What we need today are cryptocurrencies that cannot budge whatever the SEC does to them and they cannot do something about it except it is illegal internationally but as I said, if they can make another like bitcoins and have some advanced features and kinds of stuff and also being decentralized, it would be better.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 23, 2023, 08:52:27 AM
Seems not serious both social media owner between  Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk will fight each other, just joke and media opinion only because between of them not official confirmed yet when they are fighting and what rule adopt fighting kinds as boxing or UFC.

Yeah! it's just when they talk about something people always listen to them due to their popularity and even when they say something about going to fight against each other inside the cage, people get hyped as if that will come true. anyway, we all know that these kinds of schemes are just for advertisement and both parties took advantage of it since they suddenly became the topic on the internet and people became hyped just to see some progress about the fight and both of them also posted pictures about their training with different popular fighters as well.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life? on: August 23, 2023, 08:28:00 AM
Please do not assume I am asking if "you got really rich from BTC". For example, has Bitcoin/Crypto changed the way you shop, or earn weekly income? Has BTC helped you feel more optimistic and excited about the future? etc. I am getting started late compared to many others, but I see many great days ahead. Thanks for being here at the forum!

Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life?

For some reason, I found bitcoins at the right time when I was struggling financially back then and not being able to buy what I wanted. I studied it a lot every day until I learned the necessary things that I should need to learn about it then I started my journey in investing until I hit the jackpot last bull runs. when people doubt it, I am one of those who trust until the outcome becomes apparent to them and now I come to say thank God that I am not the same as before I knew about bitcoins some years ago, it changed my life positively.
