1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Community research: To drink or to buy coins? on: July 30, 2023, 12:50:02 PM
The rules are always straightforward when you want to spend on something, you need to consider first to ponder upon whether it is an asset or a liability. Most of the time we don't think of such kinds of possibilities rather we always rush to buy them as soon as we can afford it. But that's not the case when buying bitcoins because it is pure assets and earnings it will gonna multiply your capital if you did the right way to buy low and you know how to protect your bitcoins for the long term. When you turn away from those bad habits and instead spend everything on bitcoins instead, that's clearly an asset that will also become your treasure in the long run.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 28, 2023, 11:32:50 AM

Nonito was most taller, So he get more range as compared to other people. The shorter boxer will be easy for the Nonito, he can crush the short boxer using his hand power. In addition he had a power punch compared to the Santiago.Santiago had win many old experience boxer using his power arm. This fight will against the two power arm fighter. So the game winner will be the maximum punch player. The Nonito should win the game against the Santiago to prove his power against the most powerful player. This will make them to prove his power and make other to think about the match, even this help the Nonito to get the championship.

Nonito Donaire could win this fight easily because of his natural speed and power but the problem here is if he can still manage to take punches and managed to survive up to 12 rounds of non-stop action. Because as we know, he is no longer feeling like his old self, and taking multiple power punches is way more harder than before. Most likely he will higher his chance to win when Santiago distances himself and will not gonna choose to throw multiple power punches throughout the rounds because he is scared of the counter punches from Donaire.
1123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: July 28, 2023, 10:46:28 AM
When you have leaders that don't really care for their people, then that's not really a problem to them and when they can just sleep in their bed peacefully with their wealth secured from those people, they don't seem to bothered. But when they have their own plan just after they get the position, surely there will be positive progress every day. Not only that, but they also fix everything in their community whichever the problem was. The people should consider carefully choosing their leader when a new election comes and preferably the right one should be already working to fix the problem even though he is not in the position yet.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 27, 2023, 01:27:18 PM

True, many of us here chose Ngannou to win, despite him not being a boxing champion. Fury is the most popular in the heavyweight division now, and since they are boxing, it's more likely that Fury will win. As far as I remember, I have not seen a boxing champion lose to a UFC fighter in a match. Even Mayweather, who has already retired and only participates in exhibition fights, still wins because it's boxing.

For me, this fight is most likely that of McGregor and Mayweather and since these two are heavyweights, then the fight would not last long because Francis will surely unleash huge power punches that would knockdown Fury multiple times but if he gonna successfully hit him bit if not and the punches will only hit the air, then probably as an easy win for Fury because that's how he most wins his fight in the past by letting his opponent miss and will gonna make them tired and he will throw lots of accurate punches to knock them out.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: July 27, 2023, 12:08:58 PM
XRP is the most traded alt coin so far in this year. So people are still buying it and they are also selling it.
More then $150 Billion in volume on centralized exchanges. And now it is going towards $175 Billion.
I think most of this buying is being done with victory with sec. And possibility of 'bull market' bringing big profits for hodlers.
https://thecryptobasic.com/2023/07/26/data-shows-xrp-now-top-traded-altcoin-of-the-year/

Clearly, investors are seeing its potential because, despite their case, they managed to outclass the SEC and turn down their accusations against them. This a good indication for potential coins to rise its price furthermore in the next month to come and when they fully clear their name against the SEC, it will be a whole party for their investors because surely it affects the price greatly which will make it rise and also they will gain some more investors because of what just happened.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2023, 11:14:07 AM

NBA is a different tournament; some players who are good in the EuroLeague do not last in the NBA, so hopefully, he will be an exception. Personally, I don't follow the EuroLeague, so I would not expect much from him. I'm not riding the hype; this is the NBA, a big stage. I also hope he will be given more playing time so he can showcase his talent. The Bulls are not a playoff team as of now, despite having their big 3 as superstars, so let's see how he can help the team improve.

If he can somehow help the Bulls this upcoming season to gain more wins than lost, then he is one of the great steals in the NBA draft. The Bulls are not that bad and actually, they can fix their team through him if they consider giving him enough minutes to play and showcase his talent on the court. Well! if only the coaches are understanding enough to give each player their due on every game, no players will remain unimproved and each and everyone will gonna have their chance to greatly improve and prolong their career to stay in the NBA.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small/medium scale Businesses confidence in accepting Bitcoin on: July 27, 2023, 10:41:56 AM
  • I'm well aware of the dangers that centralized exchange poses, but doesn't their access to customers data make it feel safer to run a business? (Not to be confused for safekeeping of coins, just a means to run the trade)

I think merchants are getting partnered with 3rd party centralized payment methods when they wanted to accept bitcoins or any other crypto payment in their stores or services because of its convenience. Nowadays you don't need to worry about the way on how to add bitcoins as a mean of payment for your stores because there are lots of tutorials out there that could easily teach you and automatically you are ready to accept directly to your wallet with the help of such 3rd party services. But in terms of storing your bitcoins, then it's a different story and you need to consider choosing security over convenience.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A neighbor next door on: July 26, 2023, 03:29:38 PM
There are multiple opinions regarding this but if I were you I will remain clean and act as if I have nothing to do with it when they ask you because it's simple and it's plain, they want to hide their money from the government and they found you as their way to make that happen. when the police will catch them and they will get interrogated, surely they will spill your name with your knowledge of bitcoins to convince the cops and that would be a pain in the ass to set yourself free by explaining to the cops because they most likely don't care and you will need a reliable lawyer to completely free you from that.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 26, 2023, 02:45:42 PM
I'll be going with Poirier for the next headliner. Justin is an incredible fighter, but I find he winds up too much a lot of the time on his shots, and that'll likely play into the hands of Poirier who's a lot more calculated. Obviously, Justin has the durability, and the power to beat anyone so it'll always be a good fight when he's involved. I expect a good fight, and I don't think either fighter will lose by a landslide. Obviously, a knockout is always on the cards, but I think we'll get a well matched fight before that happens, I can't see anyone getting flashed KOed in this fight. Hopefully not, I want to see a war between the two. I like both fighters, so it's going to be hard seeing one of them lose, anyway.

This is not a common fight we see where the others are more way far from their opponent because they are both strong and cannot be beaten easily by just one punch. Surely the fight would be like Islam and Volkanovski, they both fought to the last to assure the win and in the end, it was a close match. This one will most likely be that kind of fight and that will never disappoint us because right now we are not getting as many good fights from UFC as before. Maybe a new rivalry will be born if the fight will not gonna end up in submission or TKO.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 26, 2023, 02:00:17 PM
But sometimes when the crypto project is active in their telegram and any other social media activities they just do it for some reasons that they want to attract more investors to their project and when they get what they wanted, they start to stop their updates and they start to delay their response to their investors in the telegram. That's why I'm saying that's not totally reliable when a project is active on their social media because sometimes they only do it to lure their victims and do not sincerely make any progress to complete their project or to be listed in some exchanges.
1131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every Bitcoin holder Should Take a Cybersecurity course on: July 26, 2023, 01:22:16 PM
When you have some crypto assets you are obliged to learn to protect yourself from hackers because these people are not resting and they continue updating their tactics to hack and steal your crypto from you. You also need to always update your info regarding their new ways of hacking and also there are lots of ways to prevent it once you are getting used to it. But if you don't have crypto with you and you are planning to promote bitcoins to your families and friends, then you have to learn and take some courses for Cybersecurity so that you can protect them from any potential threats like hackers and scammers.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 26, 2023, 12:39:22 PM
Seeing how easily Inoue destroyed Fulton does not give me any confidence in Tapales. Tapales' record is unimpressive. He's slower than Inoue and he doesn't have enough power to even make me think he has a puncher's chance. This should be a nice showcase for Inoue. It would be the ideal opportunity to fight in Las Vegas and gain more recognition outside of Japan.

I saw how technical Inoue was in his fight against Fulton last night and Tapales doesn't have that kind of moves and also his body is not that quick to move to dodge that power punches. so even if we wanted to see Tapales win this fight, it would be safe to not assume it and just accept that this is just another easy fight for Inoue. Unless he comes up with some effective strategy that will gonna surprise Inoue and somehow catch him off guard but as we can see, that's not easy because they are both in their prime and also can quickly adapt to the situation, especially Inoue who K.O Fulton easily last night.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 26, 2023, 12:08:02 PM
A friend of mine in our discussion today about Bitcoin was insisting that salaries and wages be paid in Bitcoin in some countries.
I was of the opinion that the government will not allow fiat to be replaced by Bitcoin .so what is your take on this will it be a positive move on the Bitcoin ecosystem or not

If I'm not mistaken there are companies that give their employees a chance to convert some of their salaries to bitcoins when they get them and some are willing to take their salaries as bitcoins fully. Others can just actually convert it as soon as they received it in order to preserve the company from any blame when the crypto market is not looking good. right now there are not many who want to do this since the bitcoin price is so volatile that sometimes will only take an hour for the price to change from high to low or vice versa.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2023, 02:45:25 PM

Westbrook can receive a lower salary as he already made a lot of money during his time with OKC. On the other hand, in the cases of Oladipo and Dennis Schröder, they were at their best when the contract was offered, but they gambled and got a bit greedy, looking for bigger offers. Unfortunately, it didn't happen, and for sure, they regretted that decision.

Since Westbrook hasn't won any championship till now, it's pretty reasonable that his salary has gone down lower that how it used to be because the way he plays is not helping anymore like how he used to be in the OKC. Now he is lucky that a team signed him despite the rumors spread against him these days that wherever he goes, he curse that time to lose the NBA playoffs and not gonna get to the NBA championship ever. The Lakers truly made some huge mistakes to acquire him last time and they were lucky enough to trade and get rid of him.
1135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you handle borrowers? on: July 25, 2023, 01:36:21 PM
As for me I only lend my friends some money that I think they can easily pay me back and also I don't mind losing it because sometimes those people don't return back the money they borrowed because they might already forget it or they just don't really care to pay back again and when that happens when they want to borrow money from me, I will tell them I don't have any money. I'm not lying about this but what I meant to say is, I don't have any money to lose anymore because I'm working so hard to get that money and they promised to pay me but they didn't do it at all.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 25, 2023, 12:42:00 PM
Damn! That was fast. didn't expect that to happen that way but that's Inoue for you

I thought the fight will reach up to round 12 and gonna go to the judge's decision but Inoue's skills got Fulton easily and he was just waiting for him to get slower and unleash that huge power punches.

That was a solid round 8 and the knockout was unexpected because Fulton was strong and can take those jabs easily but he miscalculated the power punches which caught him off guard.

Congratulations! to Inoue for being a 4 division champion.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Advise People To Stake? on: July 25, 2023, 12:00:12 PM
I honestly don't recommend this kind of making money from crypto because I had joined once a bounty where they offered staking and when lots of people bought their coins, they run away and sold a massive amount of coins also their social media are not active anymore, so it was clearly a pump and dump coin. There are lots of such coins offering staking and most of them offer high returns of percentage but you cannot distinguish the legit from scam because both are pretty active in their social media updates at first.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2023, 11:15:23 AM
Yes Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. are two boxers who have amazing titles and they are one of the best boxers in their class.
July 29 is the day of the meeting as well as determining who is the strongest and deserves to hold the title of champion.
If betting then clearly Terence Crawford is the best choice to bet on and I will definitely be setting aside some money for their fight later.

Tonight in our country is a few minutes away to see the fight between Fulton and Inoue and to determine whether the accusations are true or it doesn't really matter for Inoue. But the real deal is the fight this coming Saturday because this is to determine who is the current strongest in this era at their weight division because this has been long awaited to see these two clash against each other inside the ring. This time there's no turning back and the fight will gonna be the best fight of the year.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dad's retirement money is invested in Bitcoin! on: July 25, 2023, 10:39:56 AM
I appreciate your thoughts that you want the best in maintaining the financial condition that your father earned. Building a house is your father's dream to enjoy his retirement in a comfortable place, but this intention is constrained because he considers the increasing price of goods. Inflation that occurs will make the price of goods rise almost every year, maybe next year the price will be much higher than now.

Sometimes one big decision such as this one can change someone's life due to the fact that the result will most likely be positive after the bitcoin halving next year. because if we somehow experience some kind of negative results that will gonna make the price decrease instead of increase, then surely the trust and the growth of the bitcoin market will also decrease dramatically as well. But as we know lots of investors are ready to ride the trend and they are just waiting for the right time to enter the market and make the bitcoin price rise up once again next year. If they can decide to make it quick to convert it to bitcoins right now, it would have been a good idea.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 24, 2023, 03:16:38 PM

Great move by MJ; he was able to make a lot of money from his investment, and I'm sure he will not go poor with the fortune he has amassed. This is the kind of player who should be a good role model. After basketball, he focused on investment and used his finances to grow it even more. There might be some big changes now, and I hope the Charlotte Hornets will be able to become a playoff team.

This is not easy because even Michael Jordan cannot do it himself and he always messed it up when the players he choose ended up getting some worse injuries in the NBA which made them sidelined for months and changes the way they played when they get back. Unless they get lucky and get a player that will gonna bring the team to the championship because some players are not really good when playing in college league but they quickly adapt to the environment in the NBA and quickly became strong which will gonna make them easily win most of the games and suddenly find themselves in the NBA finals.
