221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please stop blaming "the government" for lack of Bitcoin mass payment adoption on: February 27, 2024, 12:15:21 PM
As of now, many countries let their citizen invest in Bitcoin but with caution because there are still some scammers who are convincing them to invest in their Ponzi Schemes and other scam projects. if only not for these people, we would be free and not get much attention from the government but because they always create some kind of problems that always involve money and huge numbers of victims, they put tight and complicated requirements just to create an account in our local exchanges which was not the case before back then.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Ryan Bourland Cruiserweight 8 Rounds March 2 on: February 26, 2024, 04:33:58 PM
Is Jake losing his appeal in the boxing community that he is relegated his fight to undercard he used to be the main card in many of his fights, I have not heard of this guy Bourkland but he's coming from a fresh win from a real boxer and he was a two-time champion even though it's not a World title but still a good pick compared to other fighters Jake fought mostly MMA has been.

Obviously, this guy has run out of choices and he is now facing some declines regarding his view so he will just take some offers to stay on the top list. They used to be promoting their own show and now they are likely trying this new strategy so that they will be recognized by true boxing fans. this is just another market strategy because his last fight was not really good and few are interested in it. In this case, people will forcely watch them because they are looking forward to watching the main event and they don't have a choice but to watch Jake Paul's boring boxing skills before the main card bout.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and people knowledge on: February 26, 2024, 03:53:07 PM
Of course, those people who were used to investing in traditional ways of investment or making money, don't have any idea how bitcoins work and if they want to know about it, you can just simply clear any misconceptions and let them know everything they need in order to prevent them from Ponzi Schemes that are using cryptocurrencies as their props. Many people thought at first that investing in bitcoins and investing on those high ROI scams are the same which makes them not trust bitcoins anymore because they have been deceived because of their ignorance. If only they had taken some time to equip themselves with proper knowledge before investing, they would have not fallen into such schemes.
224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the challenges of developed nations nation? on: February 26, 2024, 03:14:34 PM
This problem has the easiest solution and it should be at its root where they need a just leader who will gonna improve their nation slowly but has high aspirations to do it so well just like the just leaders in the past. Where they managed to develop their countries with the help of their people of course. When the people see that their leaders are good and strictly prohibit any misbehaviors by those below them, they quickly follow his orders and easily make the people happy to serve him as well. Our country was about to change if only there were no more elections but it is sad that after our former president has done with his terms, the criminals are back on their actions in every corner of the country.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 26, 2024, 02:42:09 PM
Yes, it was truly a disappointment since tons of fellow filipino fans are really anticipating for some upset or becoming a champion but thats truly a sure defeat even just on looking in the earlier rounds.
You would really be able to see that Ancajas had some stamina problems later in 6th round as i have observed.  Even with that undercard fight which ended up on having that 1st round knockout. lol
Arent they prepared for such tough fight or really just that Jap fighters are strong now agaisnt Filipino fighters?

Surely, they were caught by surprise and they were knocked out by the Japanese easily because they didn't expect that they now have some crazy boxing skills and people saying that this is the Japanese Era of boxing where champions are not from the Philippines anymore. well, this is so true and with the high enthusiasm for boxing sports, they have improved a lot since then and they are now making history in the group along with their main star 2x Unified champion Naoya Inoue.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do? on: February 26, 2024, 02:14:20 PM
Appearing in public will attract countless questions and the media will manipulate whatever you say to them and use it for their own advantage if they are one of those hostile against bitcoins, then they will just simply ask you about Bitcoin's disadvantages and highlight it on their front page to cause confusions to the people who want and already investors of bitcoins. Therefore, staying anonymous is the best thing he can do and no matter what they try to manipulate their audiences regarding bitcoins, it does not have any impact since they are just speculating as well without any solid evidence.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 25, 2024, 12:39:25 PM
Today, they'll be hosting the red hot Celtics who are currently on a 7 win streak. In their last 3 games, it was all Boston, so pretty much they were dominated based on the trend. can they make a big change today with a big win?

It was a tough game for them and they could not handle the Celtics this time cause Jaylen Brown was once again red-hot on the court and led the Boston Celtics in score which led them to victory last night. Nothing new for the Celtics since they are number one overall in the league, The Knicks are an easy opponent for them because they simply know how to counter their rotations and their defense is not effective against the Celtics this time. And they will be against the 76ers next time, let's see if they can win it easily as well because if that's the case, then they chance to get to the NBA finals this year is quite high.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 25, 2024, 11:33:48 AM
We need to understand one thing that we should never trust any politician they don't do things without their own benefit. As per the statement I don't think is any sort of acceptance but rather a pure manipulative statement and I think we shouldn't be quick in judging or trusting any politicians as it's all the vote politics and they can do anything for votes.

Majority of government and politicians don't like Bitcoin and crypto, you can understand that from the atrocious regulations laid by Indan government.

This is true because in Politics, whoever has more people, they always supported by the politicians. the same happens to our countries where they always have some connections in some groups and they always scratch each other's back. Of course, this statement of Trump will have a huge impact on the crypto community in the US and they won't gonna just let this one go since it gives them hope for the better changes of the crypto holders out there. They may be hoping for insight into some regulations that make it easier for miners to operate in that country.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: February 25, 2024, 11:04:22 AM
I believe you are correct that the psychology of drug addiction and gambling addiction differs, despite certain similarities. Drug addiction causes the person to become physiologically reliant on the substance, and when they stop using it, their body may experience withdrawal symptoms. However, in cases of gambling addiction, the individual is typically psychologically addicted on the pleasure and excitement of gambling, and they may not feel physical withdrawal symptoms when they quit. This can make it more challenging to cure gambling addiction because it is harder to persuade someone to give up something they enjoy.

I think Drug addiction is far worse and harder to cure and I can witness that since all of those who get to serve in prison due to their drug addiction whether they were users or pushers, when they get out, they back to where they were left and they ended up becoming worse than before. Unlike most of whom I know that were used to gambling, they have completely changed and don't engage in cock fighting anymore or some Lottos rather they just continue living their lives normally as the others. Drugs lead users to become crazy and there are lots of people who become crazy here in our community right now.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: February 25, 2024, 10:35:48 AM
I joined Airdrop back then when the list was already huge and scammers already creating their own fake projects and promoting them via airdrops and bounties. Thankfully I was able to join a few legit Airdrops which gave me a decent amount of rewards way back then. But when it comes to such kinds of Airdrops, only few get to the top list on the crypto market, others are meant to fall after the hype they had when they first launched their project. If you can find one nowadays, consider yourself lucky because they rarely promote their project via Airdrops because of some trust issues that the scammers created.

232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] David Benavidez vs. Olexandr Gvozdyk interim WBC Championship on: February 23, 2024, 09:09:22 PM
Not an interesting fight but worthy opponent for Benavidez to further continue his domination until they no longer had a choice but to let him fight Canelo. But on the other hand, Canelo wants to avoid him until maybe they find some fault in his boxing skills. This is what happening in the boxing sport nowadays because when they lose to some worthy opponent and they are not that popular, they are meant to lose their popularity as well until they are given a chance to take a fight against another champion. that's why they are so afraid to lose nowadays unlike before when such things don't really matter as long as they fighting someone capable of beating them as well. They like to be challenged with stronger opponents in the past.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: February 23, 2024, 08:30:11 PM
Interest in exchange tokens is no longer the same as before, at the stage of their formation. Exchange tokens gained popularity due to interesting and profitable offers, such actions were mainly part of marketing. Now exchanges have already reached their level, of all, I like bnb the most, for me it is more profitable to hold this particular cryptocurrency.

Only if other worthy new exchanges emerge and they also offer more benefits when you buy their tokens just like the other popular exchanges had offered their users back then. Not only do they need to work with their token but they also need to promote their exchanges in order to attract investors we see lots of them fail and they quickly just close it because they are unable to support their needs to maintain it. right now, if you are interested in investing in such tokens, consider looking for the way they promote their exchanges, if they don't do such thing, then it is not recommended to buy their token for they will fall eventually due to their other competitor's non-stop promotions.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 23, 2024, 07:53:33 PM
I wouldn't say mistake though, some people just don't really like the idea of risking in bitcoin, remember that bitcoin is a volatile investment, much more so than gold and real estate so it really does make a difference why some people still have some doubts. It's also worth noting that along the way in 10 years of hodling bitcoin, there's going to be times when you'll be tempted to sell because bitcoin despite it's volatile nature, growth can still be shown in years so you might not even be getting a full profit out of that in 10 years.

This was the main reason why there were only a few people who invested their money in bitcoins back then and it adds more people when they see the price increase each year but there are also some others that are still in doubt when it comes to investment until they see the price yet increase over and over again. Right now, not only some people who joined us but some huge companies as well that were in doubt back then but they are now one of us and others are joining as well especially this season where the price is expected to increase even more.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: February 22, 2024, 01:54:10 PM
Any good parent would have been angry, but they would also be concerned. The parent should worry about the childs state of mind, when he had to steal from his parents and questions should be answered... on why he did that.

They should determine if the child are addicted to gambling and if he is, then their main concern must be to get help for their son, not on how they will get the money back.  Roll Eyes

Usually, when parents detect such behaviors in their early stage, they can easily cure and prevent such kind of addiction from happening where they end up stealing their parent's money just to fund their bad habits. Prevention is better than cure and when they always monitor their children's activities, it would not end up this way because they can prevent it. But when they loosely let them do whatever they want, then the problem will occur in the future which will be hard for them to stop especially when their kids are already teens.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gary Gensler: "Bitcoin is not that decentralized" on: February 22, 2024, 01:01:14 PM
That's why most people want to return back to the old way of trading which is using decentralized exchanges and some exchanges that didn't require KYC. I missed those days when you didn't really need to send exchanges your personal info just to trade bitcoins but right now, you have to, especially for local exchanges that didn't require this method before, they need to ask their users for it because the government is also monitoring their activities. this all happened due to the recent incidence of multi-million scams across the country and the result was tight security of all exchanges. Nevertheless, if you don't do anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about because you are clean, but if we have another good choice like some exchanges offer full anonymity, that would be good.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 22, 2024, 12:25:39 PM
I guess if we take any fighter and search for his story, then his life story would be worthy of a Netflix adaptation. People rarely go train any combat sport because of happy life. People rarely become a professional fighter only because they are good at beating other guys. Imho there is never a guy, whos parents were billionaires, and due to boredom, he began training martial art, all of a sudden he realises that he has a talent and becomes a champion. This is plot of a movie from 80s-90s only.

I don't think that would ever happen to some people who were raised and have everything they need at home and they can just simply ask their parents for everything that is a trend today. You can see how Manny Pacquiao's son fights and it looks like nothing from his father's talent even though he taught him well what to do. A person needs determination and high aspiration to achieve his honorable goals and that only happens if a person is raised in a harsh yet positive environment which leads him to dream and wants to be a champion one day. That's why in the tradition of the Arabs back then, they let their babies be raised by the Bedouin Arabs to make them strong at a younger age.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remarkably, how would you rate your past AltCoins price and now? on: February 22, 2024, 11:56:19 AM
During the time of ICO's, quite a lot of people made money through altcoins, though a lot of people also lost money and were scammed, but altcoin projects were very popular at that time and people could make money from them "easily". I would not say i was one of such people who made money from that period, because i have always had interest only for Bitcoin and i have never had any regret for doing so. That "ICO" period is long gone and right now most of what we have is scam projects and pump and dump coins, people still make money from altcoins today, but the risk is very high and it is now almost like gambling.

If only scammers hadn't joined the crowd of the best projects at that time, we might still see some working projects being developed based on their roadmaps until now but they failed because they lost a massive amount of budget and supporters which helped them to continue their work. Investors back then had so many choices that they could not even choose which one was right because there were lots of scam ICOs and most of them were trash and were created to confuse investors which also led to other legit projects falling. thankfully many people also managed to land on a good one including me and we also got a decent amount of money from participating in the early sales.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 21, 2024, 03:49:12 PM
Experts said that's a fact because every time you lose, sometimes it's more than the days you win, and at the end of the day, it's just your own money you get unless you won at the beginning and that's not the case as we all know because once you win or lose, you will end up getting back there after every job you had all day. That's exactly what they want you to do and they are willing to give you some wins just to make you addicted and want to return back to play. That's exactly what online games use and they use gotcha and other methods just to hook up rich players and they only realize that they are only wasting money after they have lost a huge amount of it from playing gotchas.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 21, 2024, 03:22:55 PM
I know how it feels and in my case, I ended up telling him another source of income which is not believable since no one in the world will ever believe that such a job will make money that huge. this is when I got a huge amount of payment from bounties way back then, and I applied for a bank account which they didn't accept because I didn't have enough information and documents to back up my statements. I ended up using another alternative which I don't want to mention because of high risk. The only reason I had when I decided not to disclose the source of money was too many questions from the bank manager and I ended up rejected by them.
