You forgot about botnets, but no botnets in QCN yet. So enjoy while you can.

BTW, nice hashrate rise. Will least till buy support on polo will disappear.

I had recorded diff rise.

been studying the source code of this and a few others of the same variety,

i am pretty turned off by the unfairness (not the first or last time we have seen this) some people have a cpu and some have optimized gpu's

i guess if I want to pay a 'fee' to someone with a closed source miner I can try a gpu too ?
(no thanks)

still once the playing field is leveled new coins can be launched that are fair perhaps

--- sorry development teams with optimized miners like this stuff, prime coin, memory coin 2, anything with ypool, -------

you are only screwing yourselves by not allowing everyone to have access to the same tools

if your goal is to 'enrich' yourself it won't work if no one will mine the coin

QCN is going to be delisted on BITTREX on 1-AUG

So fuck bittrex. This exchange already marked as an exchange for scamcoins. We have to celebrate delisting from it.

I'll write on Bittrex.

My question is not smarter. I'm going to mine QCN. What is the difference for me is it closed or open source miner?

Considered that if you can see the code and understand it right it will save you from scam.

I think that's fair. Some pools charge 3% fee so these are comparable figures.

This also helps users who can mine only via GPU to join QuazarCoin.

You can see my answer to a similar question.

What does the Egalitarian PoW in this thread's title mean? Is it related to the Emission curve shown in the OP?

No, it's not connected. Egalitarian PoW means that all miners&users have equal rights and liberties.

You can extract QuazarCoin via CPU or GPU but neither of the two has advantages from the other. If we recalculate to pure income both are equal. Also QCN is fully ASIC resistant.

Sorry, I've spent a few days at the hospital.

The following two weeks are going to be full of big updates and good news.

Here are some of them:
  • A cool other developer in the QCN team,

  • An updated GUI miner&wallet for Mac OS X,
  • We're planning a closed beta-testing of Windows GUI wallet. If someone wants to take part in testing, please contact me.

I'm also working on making some updates to the code. Unfortunately, I think that now QuazarCoin not be supporting Win32 because of well-known reasons.

HitBTC will enlist us soon (link here).

And of course QCN promo team continues introducing the folks to QuazarCoin and to attract new users.

Long ago I've promised to introduce you to the QCN promo team.

I'm pleased to introduce you to CryptoCatProjects.

CryptoCat Concepts LLC is proud to be one of the first pioneering digital marketing research and training companies exploring the possibilities and opportunities surrounding cryptocurrency and other blockchain technologies.

CryptoCat Concepts is currently exploring the areas of cryptocurrency, voting protocol and other forms of decentralized applications.

They work with merchants and business owners to develop the understanding of new crypto-technologies and how implementation of these technologies to help their business grow.

CryptoCat Concepts assists me with online promotion strategies and reputation management services for QuazarCoin.

They also contribute to the creating of a blockchain by researching and developing crypto-projects which help to build the future of tomorrow.

beautiful, it is nice to see, much innovation is going to happen, please make sure to assure (always) continuation of blockchain

personally, I saw what boolberry is doing with scratchpad for instance (+ wild keccak) (can not touch it, difficulty was insanely high from the beginning) , you still need "help" and my hope is (in time) appropriate people will step in (that is more of you you need > 1 for the future, you are very good, > 1 will just innovate faster, but otherwise , steady as she goes and thank you  Cool Cool

Can you explain what you mean? I don't understand Smiley

more dev member dev needed to put investors mind at ease in case you would go for long summer vacation etc you would have backup, boolberry is just an example, I also looked at some serious coins like dark, (and monero) they all have dev team in place and maybe this what is needed (long term) short term I see, GPU miner has been developed and QCN difficulty level has gone up, so that is all great (some think GPU mining is bad for cryptonote coins, I don't)

I also see that you have an announcement pending in effect to the above, which is awesome, sorry for the confusion and thanks for your work

Thanks for the feedback! Read the information in the next post, there's a realization of some of your suggestions.

QCN is starting to recover its value, there is space for a 3rd CN coin and imo QCN is it

How much h/s I will have with 2x280x?
Guuuuuuuys.

Around 280-350h/s depending on the settings. You can get more precise info on GPU mining here.
I'm glad you're still around.

Hard work pays, always.

Thanks. BTW I'll introduce you with another QCN dev in a couple of days.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Full privacy&data protection | Egalitarian PoW on: July 25, 2014, 10:51:03 AM
Today QuazarCoin was added to HitBTC with market makers help.

You can trade QCN soon, stay tuned.

And thanks SATOSHI 0.00000001! NAKAMOTO World™ is home of the world's largest private cryptocurrency portfolio with 25+ years experience of investment & cryptocurrency consulting.

So when trading starts? I can deposit, but can't trade. For several days.

The HitBTC devs said they will add QuazarCoin to the trades early next week. I think it should happen on Monday/Tuesday.

@DEV...

Sorry for asking, is there any blockchain.bin for Wind 32 yet?

if I'm not mistaken, there is blockchain.bin for Wind 32. However, you'd better use Wind 64  Wink

I just download blockchain on the first post, but dev said it's for wind 64.
and yeah it's better if u run it in PC. I use laptop.

Yes, if you use Win32 OS you must use Win32 blockchain.bin.
