What doesn't work? Did you go to the download page and then not click the download link (expecting it to autodownload)? You need to click the File menu on the page in the top left and click Download at the bottom of that menu. Works for me.

Anyone know how well the new multipool is paying out and how frequently?   I've been throwing about 1400 kh/s at it for something like 18 hours to try it out and haven't gotten a payment.  

This is why I hate using P2pool types of pools where you can't view a dashboard and see a balance or know it's working.  I have limited mining resources ATM and I don't like focusing them on a pool where I can't figure out the profitability of doing so...

EDIT:  I just got a payment of over 700K, so the pool is paying out.

Why would I sell it? I plan to *use* it.  But then, I live in Hawaii.

Anyone know why Multipool.us has disabled Moon mining? Happened to see it mentioned on their front page with no explanation given.

I've heard from the devs about this via email (currently waiting to hear back for a few more details I had questions about) and while I can't say more at this time, keep watching for their announcement about what they have planned -- I think a lot of people will be very interested!

Not sure if it was my post above, or a tweet I posted later on Twitter with the #altcoin tag, or a coincidence, but there are several more miners on the Privanon pool now. Much better.  

My wallet is syncing, but slowly.  People should try to leave their wallets open at least part of the day to help support the network. I've had mine open for a few hours now for this reason. 

Looking forward to the new autotrading pools! Should help the coin a lot.

Yikes. I'm something like 90% of the Privanon pool right now, and I'm only throwing ~700kh/s at it. I think everyone ran to the P2pool or something. 

Please try to balance between the available pools -- this is always best for the security of the coin (and doesn't put an undue burden on any one miner).

I definitely think we must prioritize getting a Carpe Diem multipool running that works like the BlackCoin pool -- mining other coins and converting them to DIEM to pay out to the miners.  

I wasn't aware of this option until just a few days ago and think it's very smart -- it's worked *very* well for BC and could really help DIEM too.

Privanon does appear to be offline right now, but has been working for the most part recently after some significant technical problems at start. Aside from the idea that technical problems justify murder threats, which most clearly do not, this is not a scam coin.  

I have been mining since the first day and there have been some problems. But the dev team, while trying to juggle this with with other commitments, has done everything to take care of things as quickly as possible.  I can assure you that while payout have been slow due to the high number of confirmations and the low number of people mining (both being worked on by the dev team) I have been getting regular payouts from the Privanon pool -- the most recent being about three hours ago.

Have you tried contacting the devs politely (i.e. without resorting to death threats) to ask for help?

Why's that? The devs are working on an update and there's some cool things coming along.  There's much more long-term potential in a coin with a gradual growth than a quick pump-and-dump scheme.  I'm still mining it while it's being ignored by everyone else, holding it, and looking forward to the update. 

There's more potential in coins where there aren't a lot of people paying attention to it yet than in ones where everyone's competing over it.  It's Hawaii time; not everything has to be rushed. Be patient and keep mining. 

It's slow because of the time 120 confirmations take with so few people mining, but Privanon is definitely paying out for anyone with concerns.

I'm slowly but surely amassing a nice stash of Hawaiicoin, and the pace will pick up once my new Gridseeds arrive next week.

I'm still mining (aside from my Internet being down last night  ) but I definitely recommend doing the update sooner rather than later.

It's very interesting to see how the different coin parameters affect things like this.

FYI for the coin developers, there's a very easy way to add the correct icon to the application.  Take the image you have in the OP and drag it to the desktop. Double-click it to open it in Preview and then Command-A to select all, followed by Command-C to copy it. 

Click once on the wallet application and type Command-I to Get Info. Click on the Dogecoin icon in the upper left and then Command-P to paste in the image you copied from Preview.  Close the Get Info window and you've got the correct icon for the application.

Any of you Mac users who've downloaded it with the incorrect icon can do the same to fix it for yourselves.

FYI, the Privanon website is down, but the pool is still accepting work and I have been receiving payouts to my wallet.

Happy to help out.  Confirmation is definitely happening now and I've had the majority of what I've mined over the last few days successfully sent to my wallet with the rest paying out normally.

Are they confirmed? The coins are slow to confirm right now but I've spoken with the dev and confirmation should be speeding up soon.

This coin has been flying under the radar so people haven't started mining it much yet, which causes the whole network to be a little slow.
Things will speed up the more people mine, and there's an update coming as well which should further improve things.
