401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ashley Madison spambot extortion address? on: October 30, 2015, 12:01:47 PM
Why i see many negative publication of bitcoin this week? From kidnapping, terrorism, fraud, and now ransom Angry
Looks like criminals now don't use bank or payment service anymore, but use bitcoin. Looks like bitcoin adoption is growing, especially for bad usage

Anyway, it's partially his fault for use that service

so easy man, there is always someone who want to take something by doing it, yes? i mean by made all those bad news related to bitcoin, don't worry about it, this just help bitcoin to spread his word more and more even if this is through all those bad news, dont forget that people are not stupid at all to know the truth( well al least i hope that xD )
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debate: Do you think criminals do more good than harm to bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 11:56:32 AM
If you check a search engine, you'll find thousands of entries for "narcodollar". But I don't see the dollar suffering much from this situation. In Europe, the Red Cross doesn't mind using the same Euros as the Italian mafia. I have knives in my kitchen, they probably can be used to kill people, but I need them to eat.

thats why i always said that there is a dark intention behind this, something like trying to destabilize bitcoin, in last months you can see that there is lots of news related to that, in the end all those things just made me think  that bitcoin is doing well, since they seems to be very scared Wink

403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: October 30, 2015, 11:47:18 AM
Shame I can't vote again =)

haha dont worry, if you already vote you are more than welcome, you already help us and yourself since you are involved on Magi too!! Wink

Launch will follow soon! Wink

seriously, this is a big step for Magi, im getting impatient about it!! Tongue
404  Other / Meta / Re: Professional trolls on: October 28, 2015, 11:12:30 PM
The threshold for a post to get removed for trolling and for someone to get banned for trolling is very high due to free speech concerns.

...and is certainly dependent on which subforum and moderators are active in that forum.

but that's not the way that it should be, im not saying that you are not in truth, on the contrary, IMHO moderators should act independent of what subforum they are related, i mean this forum have some rules and should be the same for all.

My question is; this is ok on Bitcointalk? accounts and people dedicated exclusively to try to destroy projects.

unfortunately, there will be always people like that and from my point of view moderators should not do nothing, obviously only if they are doing it always from the respect, but i understand your frustration.

406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 22 more elephants poisoned to death in Zimbabwe on: October 28, 2015, 10:15:54 PM
well is truth that all those things happen in 2015, i mean that some guys made some money about it, because in the end that's the final reason.

News like this make me hate myself being a human. Every other species on this planet is living in harmony and peace with this planet. The human is planet earth's cancer!!
Only we kill and destroy for profit.

that's exactly what i was talking about, if we "humans" really want to stop it there is nothing that can stop us, but the truth is that there is someone who don't want it, so as i said, is sad that an human kill an animal for money, but is more sad that we humans did not stop humans who want to do it.
407  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS "porn" video on: October 28, 2015, 10:08:51 PM
ISIS are just criminals doing whatever they feel like. I wonder how many of them are really into Islam.

when there is something called fanaticism nothing is related to religion, at least from my point of view. i agree with you, people just mask his criminals mind with religion, is really sad.
408  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-28] BTCC Launches Bitcoin Trading Platform, Offers 20x Leverage on: October 28, 2015, 09:56:55 PM
well people should be careful using it, i mean to be very careful with leverage, 20x leverage sounds strange for me, something like "to good to be true" don't know if you understand me...

not only inexperienced people should be carefully about it, let's see what finally happened, but they can count with me out Wink
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this comment ? on: October 28, 2015, 09:48:35 PM
come on guys, you should know that most of those wallets are exchanges and/or businesses there is nothing to be scared.

this is just another news trying to destabilize bitcoin, don't feed them guys Wink

411  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Film Festival de Bitcoins on: October 28, 2015, 09:36:36 PM

412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for the companionship of a Supermodel with Bitcoin. All Money is Money! on: October 28, 2015, 09:26:22 PM
Bitcoin is gaining popularity in the escort business. I would prefer to see bitcoin adoption improve elsewhere, but any adoption is adoption.  Undecided

well yes but you know, sometimes, all those news, just made bitcoin look worse for people who don't know about bitcoin yet.

obviously all money is money, but i would like to see others news instead of those.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:57:44 AM

A legendary member had explained how these addresses are generated.
It's not that link, however generating an address like this i think it takes lots of years (or simple impossible) using vanity.
Q7 i think it would a good idea to have an easy-to-remember address but the possibility is zero.

ohh well you are in truth, i just want to help, you know, btw my post was before that legendary member rank post Wink
414  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] Magi | 1ª POS-II | PoW| Tor | M7M-v2| on: October 28, 2015, 11:55:01 AM

415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: October 28, 2015, 11:50:10 AM
Wow nice! Magi has 37 direct votes!

Magi   - 37 (4.8%) and go on!!!, btw did anyone know when this poll will end? is there a limit day when voting ends or something like that?

416  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Mining profitable? on: October 28, 2015, 11:46:40 AM
Actually is mining bitcoin profitable? And what is the mining altcoins?

one of the most questions around there Tongue

Profitable? depends, do you have free electricity? free HW? if you have some of them for free or really really cheap, then ofc this is profitable and you are a lucky man Wink, if that's not your case, which is more than 90% of people ( more or less ) here, than i can suggest you to just don't think on it anymore Tongue

417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Mr Karpeles up to These Days on: October 28, 2015, 11:35:33 AM
Should've been 1 hour for every satoshi he lost to be honest. Cheesy

then he will need to live 40 times to fulfill Tongue

seriously, from my point of view, anyone who play like he did with the bitcoins of others should pay for that hardly, btw i was wrong, i was thinking that he should be in US jail.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:30:31 AM
So I was finding vanity addresses on the blockchain, and I found this:
Code:
1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE (http://btc.blockr.io/address/info/1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE)
The guy who generated it probably had a lot of free time

i think that's the longest and cool vanity address that i have never seen, this made me think about how many time he has needed to build it.

hell just thinking about that made me feel tired xD

It has something to do with the hash and other things that i don't understand which I've read here(can't find that thread)

maybe this one? -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84569.0
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another movie about - Bitcoin: The end of money as we know it on: October 27, 2015, 08:37:03 PM

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: October 27, 2015, 06:28:42 PM
Looking forward to XMG gaining more steam, and more recognition (not to mention more value)! Send me messages on where I can vote for this coin to help bring it to the front!

also dont forget to visit us on irc Freenode IRC: #magi  where you can find Magi users who can help you about anything you need, just dont ask for money xD
