401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to store paper wallet digitally? on: April 02, 2016, 10:45:44 PM
Say i put ubuntu on usb and boot from it and now generate 1 paper wallet using bitaddress.org gitup file locally and then instead of printing this i ssved it as pdf and then after booting back to windows i put this pdf in .rar file with secure password protection and save this file in mutliple places. Then even if i use the internet i won't be at risk right?

Good idea, but you must be carefull dont lose your password

and last question if i have say 7 bitcoins on this digitally stored paper wallet and i want to spend 2 bitcoins from it and want to have 5 bitcoins in it.Can i do so?

why not to generated 7 papers wallet, and make them to the one pdf, i think it could be easy to used, you wouldn't be cost by the fee if you spent the amount separately

P.S i don't want to print a paper wallet because i am too paranoid i may lose the paper or damage it
You can save it on a place where you safe your secret and important document, just saying

405  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: April 02, 2016, 09:09:27 AM
Regulations are necessary at least exchanges must be regulated because they can steal money and run away, we had this example many times before. That is why we need protection. That cannot harm Bitcoin can only bring more people who are insecure. Maybe this can trigger mass adoption.

The companies who are in bitcoin can be regulated by the government and that is why they required KYC just like coinbase is doing.
With this users in coinbase will be not anonymous anymore.
this actually against the nature of bitcoin yeah the pseudoanonymous [not anonymous] it's clearly that government will not accept bitcoin officially as their currency, but nowdays people still using bitcoin and trade them as like stock, yup gold, silver and so on

408  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about uᴉoɔʇᴉq ? on: April 01, 2016, 03:42:13 PM
For me the only thing that i hate about bitcoin is just lack of adoption of the bitcoin by the owner store in my city, yeah it's really hard to spend your bitcoin directly, but for paying things online so far i'm not complaining bitcoin it's the simplest payment processor
409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on uᴉoɔʇᴉq? on: April 01, 2016, 12:22:33 PM
Nooooo!!!!
At present, there is no way I would even consider going full time uᴉoɔʇᴉq.
For now, i still do my job & involved in uᴉoɔʇᴉq when i have spare time
making bitcoin as part time job it's a good choice, but you have to be carefull if you get in to the trading, need extra patient to watch the fluctuation especially altcoin trading, i've missed so many chances to get more profit from it due to my time was limited when i was working
410  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in uᴉoɔʇᴉq on: April 01, 2016, 11:24:30 AM
When I first discovered uᴉoɔʇᴉq, I wondered if it was even worth getting into. Over my long time with it, I believe that there is one answer to my thought, yes. uᴉoɔʇᴉq is worth everything and more. If only more people would start to see just how useful it is in everyday life.
The reason why i still believe in bitcoin, since using bitcoin is exteremly simple you dont need to upload your identity, bitcoin is the simplest for paying things online, the best payment processor, with the irreversible system it's prety safe for seller to transaction with their costumers, those things are make peoples untill now still believe in bitcoin
411  Other / Meta / Re: How to protect an account from being hacked? on: April 01, 2016, 04:10:48 AM
the best solution is stake your address here, through this link
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0
make sure your signed massage corectly, it's absulutelly effective when someone has stolen your account then you can prove that you're the owner of the account by signed massage from the address that you've stacked on that thread
good luck
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make bitcoin transaction get 3 confirmations faster? on: April 01, 2016, 02:47:11 AM
I know that confirmation is directly linked to mining and exploring blocks. But what will happen where there won't be anything to mine in the future.
There won't be blocks right? How bitcoin network will be confirming transactions then?
that the thing that i always wondering. But after reading this thread someone mentioned that "the Blocks will return 0 satoshis by year 2141 or so"
but eventually we're not living at that age
refference

413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: April 01, 2016, 02:24:03 AM
I have a strong feeling that price fluctuation is making people to stay away from bitcoin as they have fear of loosing money and that is the reason they are not investing into it.

They are afraid of something else it is the lack of knowledge that scares them. Bitcoin might be a little hard to learn but while using it and asking.
I highly doubt this, since it has been made easier when more players in the market have entered and have more variety available on who to go with. There are over 40 different wallets available as an app for your mobile and it is easy to start using it. So lack of knowledge is not an excuse anymore. If you can use a phone and of course use it's apps, then you can use bitcoin. Nothing is stopping anyone from getting into it now.
To using bitcoin we don't need to learn about how blockchain's tech work, mining processing, etc. All we have to do just create a wallet and start transaction. Lack of knowledge is not a main reason why do people stopping using bitcoin since if they created a wallet they will feel that bitcoin is easiest to use than other payment processor due to simplicity of it's procedure.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: April 01, 2016, 02:15:38 AM
IS there any Bitcoin Bank that really works like bank that provide interest for customer that available in this world?

If it is like a normal bank where you have to submit documents or ID, then this will defeat the purpose of bitcoin. I want my bitcoin anonymous, tax free and I want to keep it that way. I will not submit it to any bank so government can meddle on it.

Yes i agree with you, if bitcoin bank same as bank in real life. I prefer using bitcoin wallet than bitcoin bank, no need submit id or some verification. And i'm sure anonymous is why people pick bitcoin.
you are literaly using bitcoin bank, if you using coinbase as your wallet. As we know that coinbase need us to provide our identity, however it's against the pseudoanonimity nature of the bitcoin. But for some people it's not a serious problem. I think it's a serious problem for those who make some ilegall activity.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates there bitcoin wallet with real info? on: March 30, 2016, 01:50:36 AM
I have created a wallet which doesn't have my real name

can blockchain limit my account if they find out. I also might need to get loans from elsewhere and when they ask for I.d will they ask for my blockchain account info as well. Huh
You dont need to upload your identity to create a wallet, that's why bitcoin was created to use as pseudoanonymous,

Blockchain will never limit your account, even though you have lot of money out there by make some ilegall activity

for third question i think they're only want you real id not blockchain acount info, since the blockchain account  info only your address which is you can create or generate the addy as much as you can
416  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet? on: March 30, 2016, 01:41:58 AM
I chose bittrex. in bittrex lot of coin are supported. with security features and a trusted website. I recommend this.

Bittrex is not a wallet, it's an exchanger you don't have ultimate controll over your private key, once the site is down you are literally lose your money,

In my opinion the best online wallet is blockchain is easy to use and have a system security like 2 factor authentication, and it's prety safe due to the controll over our private key, it's better than coinbase or xapo

Never tried greenaddress and bitgo and other wallet before
