402  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL refunds works flawlessly and fast on: October 30, 2012, 11:48:37 AM
what made you change ur mind?

i wanted a refund because i am afraid that bfl is not the first on the market and i think that i wont be able to mine back my price of the gear.

So, your going to quit mining?

i have quit a while ago and wanted to restart with bfl asic's
but i dont see any sense in it when i loose money over it.

i think its better to just buy coins. (this also saves me from discussions with my wife)

a GOOD  REASON TO DITCH THE WOMAN... Wink KIDDING.. Cry

bUYING AND SELLING IS A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE INDEED...

hi,

i just want to share my bfl refund experience.

i have send them an email and after three days i've got all my bitcoins back.
obviously they gave me a few less coins because of the changed usd/btc price.

i wanted a refund because i am afraid that bfl is not the first on the market and i think that i wont be able to mine back my price of the gear.
i do still think bfl is the best asic vendor - at least for now Wink

what made you change ur mind?

405  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Bfl jalapeno asic on: October 29, 2012, 10:46:17 PM
  • bASIC
  • ganz knapp danach Bitforce SC

SCAM could also be explained as at the time they WILL deliver they are worthless pieces of gear because they will deliver/generate the same amount of BTC as an GPU of 800mhase does right now an you will be behind in the game again like ur right now, thats a scam to only plus is the securety of the network but if u say u are in for that u ar an liar.

show both devices in one foto makes sure it taken at the same timeframe now they just upgraded the jally board few days later added some parts take another shoot and he there is the SC board,, yeah right...grow a dick and mine on... Grin

407  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Looks like ASIC's have been deployed on: October 27, 2012, 06:21:55 PM

I don,t think this would be ASICs.. maybe the last month of easy BTC or maybe the fact BTC becomes more in the open to more people learning about it becomes more and more in the publicity over the last past weeks.makes this a naturally rise of hashpower.. Wink

conspiracytheorie: BFL hangs there stock fpga minirigs@25gh x 75  on the net and in 4 weeks they run the fack off.. just kidding Shocked Shocked Shocked

If the price drops this is good to buy them it,s normal in an speculative market this all is a good sign..buy buy sell sell  Cry

That may be the most intelligent post I've seen from you yet.

Hey faggot, go back to coding and attaching trojans to your miner!

Wow, Your going STRAIGHT onto my ignore list
Ckolivas is the creator of the legendary CGminer, One of The Best mining programs out there, He publishses all source and is totally transparent about his product.
Your calling him a faggot, Thats derogatory considering that i doubt you know his sexuality, And he has not ever attached a trojan to the CGminer compilable files.
Everyone would see it!

Just saw this posted in another thread...

Quote from: BFL_Josh;3000
We are not going to be shipping the first week of November, I can definitely say that.  We are waiting on the bulk chips from the foundry, that is really the major delay right now.  As soon as that dam breaks loose, we pretty much have everything else either ready to go or in the pipeline to be completed shortly.

Q: when

Quote from: BFL_Josh;3004
They are not done yet.  We are paying for what's called a "bullet run" though, which is essentially an expedited process to get the chips done sooner.

Mining is a function of Quality assurance.........

Since these manufacturers need (hopefully) to test the kit before it is sent out ,and a 1 hour burn in would be totally acceptable.
Personally We used to run 24 hour burn ins to remove 'bath tub failures' on lighting.

Unless they setup dummy  mining servers or utilise dummy back ends, it is feasible that they will 'impact' the generation of bit coins.

Now we could in theory use that 'meta-data' to see when they actually start manufacturing /shipping these rigs.

HC

Well there are no asic out there yet, but they will be shipping them nov/dec  mmm testing them for 4 weeks then ship them to customers they hang them on the net 24/7 and after 6 weeks they blow up then there super customer service will deliver a new one in few days??? yeah right dream on people...
413  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How about some proof from BFL? on: October 23, 2012, 07:55:28 AM
...3) BFL then starts connecting, on a live webcam or screencast or whatever to given credentials within just a few minutes and stay connected for 30min? 60min?

Even if there would be prototype ASICs available right now, there's no software that supports them.

ckolivas/cgminer has offered to support the ASICs - but hasn't received anything (prototypes, dev board, etc.) from BFL yet.

And, according to Josh/BFL, not even their own miner - EasyMiner - supports the ASICs.

Biggest question for me so far: How on earth do those guys test their own hardware?!

Ok.. i didnt know that... so... goooood question...
Well if they cannot proof to someone thats very reliable like Ckolivas who i now is 100% for real another red flag appears to me...so we will see the lack of proof could be the lack of self reflexion and customercare in all cases ..
414  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Op Hoeveel Schatten Jullie NL-Bitcoingebruikers? on: October 23, 2012, 07:50:09 AM

Wink kijk naar onze loser leiders in Den Haag srry to say so..

415  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: here's just how screwed ASIC buyers are - READ THIS if you have a preorder on: October 23, 2012, 07:45:26 AM
To all those people who think they get more BTC in the first few days-weeks.....

What will happen if the ASIC manufactures blow up the difficulty before they start shipping? they got there money anyways.... Who ever gets them late thinks they are not the first inline....

Whos gonna benefit...

i think i keep away from all this mining and just trade BTC's. its more profitable that way

who hit rewind...

BFL, CablePair, Avalon have all publicly stated they will use testnet in a box.

ASICMINER is the only one I worry about, because it is their intent to mine with them first, and they have stated so all along. It sounds like they might be 2-4 weeks behind BFL though, and Tom is shipping in November/December as well, so the race is on...

what is he shipping it,s 23-10-2012 no signs of any WORKING ASIC yet everyone keeps pointing delivery dates as soon as november/december Huh Huh i just don,t understand how this could be possible...tell me if i missed the actual working device with the custom chip..that will get shipped next week or three from now Huh Huh

Well put! I also need to let you know that you personally had some influence on my entering the bitcoin economy. I too am planning on exiting the matrix Wink

Wow, I am honored and shocked that I touched so many lives.

well, im a bit scared that UPS will screw up delivery, they are known to just place it in front of the door and leave, i just hope i know when i will get it so i can take a day off work Smiley

Thats why I have my order delivered to my office, to eliminate as many possible screw ups as I can.
they can still deliver it to the wrong place, happens from time to time. or a friend of mine got his package heavy damaged during transport and UPS didnt want to replace, accodring to them he destroy'd it. all this BS with these stupid companys hiring as cheap as possible human scum to deliver stuff and dont care anymore about quality Sad yes this is harsh but sadly its a fact.

In two or three more years from now the bachelor and master degree people will be standing in line for a cheap ass job like that.. mabye some quality will brought back in.. Wink
419  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICs any proof they are coming for ANY of the companies? on: October 22, 2012, 03:11:08 PM
BFL has shown production boards (though has yet to show that they actually work). They are so far the only company to show a physical product.

Though all three companies, Avalon, btcfpga, and bfl have all had past products in the fpga market so it is reasonable to assume they are not scams (I hope).

This doesn,t say anything about new products witch are 1000x harder to produce and they could abuse the trust build up ..but give them the benefit of the doubt for some 6 weeks or so...the boards they show are no proof at all looks just like some more bait.to me  .its up to you if you will bite...i hope they are for real.. Wink

If they are, they aren't in the same state where they use their PO Boxes:

- Butterfly Labs "Address": PO Box 413671 Kansas City, Missouri 64141-3761
Missouri Business Entities : Result - no Butterfly Labs

-  btcfpga "Address": P.O. Box 246 Hannibal, NY 13074
New York Business Entities : Result - no BTCFPGA

Have you ask the companies themself how they registerd maybe BFL has another name Registerd orso?
Shady it is but online they are trusted by the mass..mmm u can ask Inaba he is always posting en answering question in treads around here.  Wink
