401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ ✅ [ANN][ICO] 🚀 AZBIT - Blockchain Investment Banking on: March 03, 2019, 06:58:06 PM
The main work of Roger Vera in the field of cryptocurrency began in 2011. He invested the accumulated funds in a number of projects, among which were BitPay and Ripple....

Conclusion . The project will be very cool.

Would love to meet this Roger Vera.. sounds very cool and has an eye for quality more than any other Vera I've known. On a quality note, this is probably my third Ver-backed project. Hope this is THE Ver-backed project to rule them all. Eager to try out the MVP

How are you guys liking the wallet interface screenshot Koji uploaded on telegram. Saw it has a menu for purchase and wondering what it could mean? Use to purchase more crypto or real-world commerce?

A few days ago, Eddie W. Mandel was interviewed for CNBC Nasdaq studios in NewYork. Did you miss it? You can find it in the link below. Here's the full interview talking about blockchain technology, digital asset ownership, and peer-to-peer exchange

Eddie should of known what consequences his presentation could have. He revealed a lot of big stuff and because of this he is currently under the radar of a bunch of govt agencies. CIA and homeland security agency have all the information on guy's affairs and could even be bugging his home stationary phone. That may backfire bad. Seriously, dont mess with big names and their influential friends in the blockchain space if u do not want to wake up next morning with a sack on your head and find your legs tied with a metal cord.

...this he is currently under the radar of a bunch of govt agencies

1. WTF? How do you know this you're with the government or one of the agencies that have been debriefed?

Quote

2. See #1 above.

3. Seriously, lay off the cool-aid and drop the TV remote too. Go for a walk, smell the roses, then you may come back and tell us who in the blockchain space have woken up with sack on their head and cords on their legs.

For a minute, I almost thought you were human
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢📢 [ANN] 💬 MESG - Build applications. Connecting any technologies. 🚀🚀 on: March 03, 2019, 11:25:28 AM
I'm so confused now, do I need to Hold MESG or sell it now because I see the price of MESG has dropped since first listed on Digifinex. Need another exchanges or what? How's your opinion about this situation guys?
The question is what are you holding MESG for; the future potentials or speculation? And no, it doesn't need any exchange even Binance because the price is going to be determined by those holding the tokens - how much are they selling it for and how much are buyers willing to pay for it. Doesn't help that some bounty hunters don't give a flying f and are just throwing it away at any price. Best time to accumulate
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW/POS] Obscure - Privacy Simplified MINING/FAUCET ONLY NO ICO on: March 02, 2019, 02:59:41 PM
Testnet has been nothing sort of a revelation though I feel for the "zombie" clicking syndrome without checking to see what "net" the blockchain was on - was so impressed by the tx speed, I probably sunk 3 straight hours into it before realizing  Cry.
Testnet or not, gonna join the mining pool too
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-ICO]MODULE-Cryptoeconomic ecosystem on a decentralized file storage network on: March 02, 2019, 02:47:11 AM
It is well explained article about mining and its kinds and differences and approaches to solve various issues this industry still facing. Module team is doing great work and exploring new ways to come up instead of relaying on existed ones. We need more enthusiasts projects like this to keep the innovation of Bitcoin and blockchain technology to new heights.
If only we can get those "When exchange", "Why price low" section of the community to pipe down and follow the technology and cheer the project development along, that would be great. Most people forget that the community is actually the most important force behind price. A positive community helps a lot

Indeed! What is more appealing for this project that it could possibly lessen the energy footprint needed for mining as compared to traditional PoW cryptos like BTC, making it more environmentally friendly. Smiley
Lower energy footprint definitely is a good selling point for mainstream consumption considering the fact that mining most cryptos is well beyond the reach of most folks - hardware, power, cooling, and maintenance costs. PoSTT makes mining extremely cheap and accessible

The site went as far as cloning MEW to have users enter their private key

The OP claims they are not affiliated with the project and is just a fan... a newbie fan... yeah right, water is certainly not wet

Are you the one who moderates this thread now after Zapo is going away?
Last time I checked the bounty calculation is not yet finished, after several months. I don't know how many months they'll need after they prolonged ICO, continuously saying calculation will finish soon, and leaving the bounty group dead.
Looking into getting this addressed as soon as humanly possible. Last conversation I had with Zapo early this week was that the calculations were done and he'll be putting them up. Seem to recall his saying that they've been reflected in the bounty thread. I'll confirm and get back to you shortly
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SPECTIV: VIRTUAL REALITY + DECENTRALIZED ADS - 10,000 ETH ICO! on: March 01, 2019, 08:38:04 AM
Lol, the bottom might be in for Spectiv's SIG token. Griffoninvest has stopped spamming this thread. I don't know why there's so much hate by him and no real evidence too.
Butt hurt bounty hunters. Hell hath no fury like that. I was on Spectiv bounty - both versions and got paid, but I've been on other bounties that either miscalculated my stakes or didn't reward or ended up exiting. It hurt, but there seems to be a special breed that takes bounty hunting as a full-time job. Nothing wrong with that, but when you're working in a volatile and unregulated industry, you best have triple-layer backups, fail-safes, good rapport with the project team and BM, and eyes on the spreadsheets weekly
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Level01 Derivatives Exchange - Blockchain/P2P/Ultra Fair/ AI on: March 01, 2019, 08:24:18 AM
Maplechange, a small Canadian cryptocurrency exchange, has ceased operations following the purported theft of all the funds it was holding. Despite promises of an investigation into the matter, many have accused the exchange of attempting to stage an exit scam.

This will never happen with Level01.io INSTANT DEPOSIT / WITHDRAWALS.
Trader has full control over funds and deposits/withdrawals are done instantly.

Any ETA on when the platform launches? I've been keeping an eye out for the release, but the project keeps slipping under my radar. Would also like to know if you'll be listing the token on other exchanges first or it will only be exclusive to platform
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 NO longer a fork of Lisk 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 on: February 28, 2019, 11:20:34 PM
Well, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery they say. I'm glad to have hitched my ride with ARK though. Would be honest, when I first started out, I was all about the lambo and moon memes. Thankfully, the bear market forced me to reevaluate what I was getting behind and really focused on the fundamentals.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 28, 2019, 01:36:50 PM
I'm very excited about upcoming hard fork. I hope it will be success later today. Fingers crossed.
Everyone is waiting. I wonder how the market will behave a couple of hours before the plug, it’s not so long and we will find out.
Think the fork has already been priced in for now. What's left is market reaction to the features implemented by the fork. We'll have to wait from some programming god to wow us with what's under the hood and how they likely will change the phase of the game for us to FOMO in again
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢📢 [ANN] 💬 MESG - Build applications. Connecting any technologies. 🚀🚀 on: February 28, 2019, 01:35:00 PM
Hey. When is it expected to pay tokens for a bounty company?
Bounty distribution is ongoing in batches. However, they seem to be paying the smaller rewards first to prevent dump. They're now pausing distribution to attend a two days program before resuming on the 1st and 2nd of next month.

Hello, you didn't mention When The Bounty Ends?
The Tokens's Pool (how many tokens allocate for this Bounty)?
Also, you better have a telegram group of this bounty for faster response when problems / misunderstanding happens, just saying Wink
Let me know before i join this bounty, love Azbit conception  Cool

Hi!
All the information is given in the 1st post! Bounty campaign ends on March 31 and we will distribute 6 021 120 000 tokens!
We also have Telegram support @azbit_bounty to help our participants.

Registered on the site, but there's no google form for filling signature campaign application

We perform our campaign on bountyhub.io..
You should take the task according to your rank and copy the link to your profile after pressing "complete".
Just a suggestion, but a guide to choosing tasks - especially for signature - would be nice to have. And the process for filling details plus getting confirmations too. Almost lost my way

Unfortunately, increasingly "wonderful" projects on paper prove disastrous in raising funds with investors, and therefore can not even start or, if it does, stops after a few months due to lack of funds.

I believe we should resign ourselves at the moment and wait for better times on the market; only then can the team and some investor take over the project and carry it forward ..... I'm sorry only to have "lost" more than two months with the signature campaign.
Makes you wonder what's the value of having all those blockchain "advisors" if they can't guide these startups on how to survive the bear market other than hibernating and waiting for the best. You'd assumed that a  product claiming to be backed by real-world assets would be better at surviving based on cumulative business acumen and experience

Had the most unpleasant of experience with withdrawing from Exrates. Took close to 24 hours before the payout could be approved and sent to wallet. Looks like they manually approve each withdrawal request. That's so shitty. If MODL's swap wasn't so close at hand, wouldn't have mind seeing it listed on IDEX, but since it wouldn't remain  an ERC20 token for long and the need to focus funds on developing the product, I guess we have to grin and bear with it

Exrates seems to have such issues which is not good but I guess this are all temporary. By the way, is there a definite schedule for the swap? I would also love to see MODL being listed on a better exchange after the swap process. Additionally, a listing on CMC would be great too. Smiley
Close to 24 hours to approve withdrawal is not just an issue, it's a nightmare buddy. My thoughts went from hacks to exit scam as I kept waiting for the pantry exchange I had made to be deposited. Thankfully it came.

Have no idea when the swap is, but a new article just came out: https://medium.com/module/modules-postt-vs-proof-of-work-72478f2f49b0

It seems PoSTT mining algorithm by the Module team could address mining power distribution often held by a select few. Hopefully it will be implemented successfully since everyone can have a chance to mine it even on their smartphones.
I've got a bunch of phones lying about doing nothing. Would love to put them to good use mining something, Module seems to be the perfect, non-overheating, non-battery exploding option on the table. Don't know how much one is likely to be making daily though

There's a lot to think on. But the simple truth is there's much more research to be done. I understand that the word "scam" gets thrown around as easily as any other four-lettered words and emotions can lead to using the most damaging word to try and hit back, but there's no denying the fact that the industry is littered with way too many abandoned development - some due to naivety on the part of the dev, others due to cashgrab agendas. Going to have to walk down this dev's history and try and figure out why. I also understand that certain projects may have grown bigger than the original dev like ETH - there could be a whole team of devs behind the devs...
