How does the wallet=miner gets all the required data like last block, utxo,...? Only SPV style?

Could we agree they are not impossible but you need to put lot of energy and efforts into, to get them more or less safe?
If we agree on that, I would like to see not this energy spent to sidechains too much, at least not for scaling tasks, rather spent this energy and efforts into KNOWN safe on-chain scaling and improvements.

Frag mal Roger...

When last have you heard about someone paying for a service or product without going through some third party? Most of the merchants will only accept your bitcoins, if you use a regulated third party. They are all too scared to accept bitcoins directly from users. The governments has got their claws into third party services and are slowly destroying pseudo anonymity. Sure. But what advice do you have for the miners (5)? What advice do they need? Miners should sell their coins directly to people and not through exchanges linked to all these privacy killer regulations. {KYC/AML} I am not saying that these exchanges should seize to exist, but all these regulations are killing people's financial privacy. Use exchanges as trading platforms and transfer your coins out of these exchanges and sell them on the street. Ok, that is sth I did not think of but a very legit point. I was rather thinking of miner's need to BUY their software from...

Ansonsten würde man ja alleine durch das aufsplitten schon Geld verdienen - ohh Free Money "There is no such thing as a free lunch"
Hehe, da is was dran.

it's happening and it's being exchanged. currently they are exchanged at about 20% of the BTC price. which I think is quite significant. It may stay much longer than you think. It's like LTC. it can develop its own path. I'll hold both and see how it goes at the end of the year.
That is fine by me. Finally Roger and the big blockers get their own altcoin, have their own forum and subreddit and can fork off this forum. This is losing energy - not good for all and Bitcoin.

It can be viewed as a political attack against the current developers. Activating Segwit via BIP 91 might be a decoy. Its the hard fork to 2mb block sizes, which the miners want is the real problem. Its a contentious hard fork.
Sorry - this is about game theory and the Nash equilibrium that keeps bitcoin safe from a 51% miner attack. This is about to be broken once miners can choose mining on 2 similar blockchains. This is 'no' issue if there is a big difference in those 2 coins. It gets very critical if those 2 coins have same value / perspective. Than they could destroy one of the blockchains with a 51% attack (double spending , ...) - AND shorting the breaking coin. Game theory is like the glue for bitcoin's safety!

seems chicago has the best understanding of the reality of whats happening with all the drama right now. that gif explains easily. now people just need to get passed the drama and actually look at the future REALITY of ACTUAL growth expectations and solutions GIF says the truth indeed. While Segwit is the healthy solution for the community, retarded miners act like babies and want the segwit2x (goddamn chocolate bar) The parents tricked the stupid baby for her own good. Baby didn't like that but nobody gives a fuck. Stupid small people... (i mean the babies) Yeah - stupid so ---- But next scene they spite the crap into your face !

The Bitcoin 'open' source is getting more complex now and so we introduce more and more middlemen. Who can read the SW stuff and trust it ? > We need to depend on few experts - getting fewer with increased code / protocol complexity Same is for block size. Big blocks are simple - small complex block + 2nd la(w)er stuff is highly complex -> this is clearly leading us into middle men and central authority dependence. Just found these guys here http://www.marketwired.com/press-release/datablink-introduces-a-new-bitcoin-transaction-security-solution-2227237.htmYes - right now we depend on some miner pools, but this is pure Satoshi Bitcoin Design , far far better as the other option incoming now! Indeed, bitcoin is looking more and more like a human organisation, with power struggles, kings, fights, and layered hierarchical structures. The Vitalik trick of power by complexity has also been pushed nicely (and ALL reasons given to push segwit are false arguments, from scaling, to cheap off chain transactions, to the importance of non mining nodes.... - there's only one good argument, that is that segwit eliminates one bug from the bitcoin protocol, which is transaction malleability; but there are so many other bugs in bitcoin that all this hassle for this single bug is ridiculous). And exactly mostly un-needed fixing transaction malleability will now invite next level middle men - happy Christmas ! How many posts are needed to make sheep learn or can they only learn the hard way ?

Mother Satoshi handed over to mother in law Gavin Gavin was moved out by next mother 'in law' preparing patents on cost of the baby's future How could an 8 year old see the it is getting brain washed ... ? The bias is so strong - our brains are so lazy... The mop is just dumb and mostly stays.
