4101  Economy / Lending / Re: Pop's Short Term Loans on: October 01, 2019, 04:56:30 PM
Hey Chris,
I was just about to update my list of lenders, and noticed you're charging lower interest rates for shorter term loans.  Is that your intention, or was that a mistake?

1-10 days - 0.075%/day
10-20 days - 0.095%/day
20-30 days - 0.10%/day

This people will never stop asking for loan in a strange place.

Allow me to be the first to give you negative feedback/trust...
Good job but the thing that got my attention is your avatar LOL
Nice juicy tits 🤪

Is game-protect still trolling?  I don't ignore people for trolling mostly, but he's one of very few people who convinced me it's a good feature to have on the forum.  Even CH Incorporated hasn't gotten there, and likely never will.

4104  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: eletrum with some problems on: September 30, 2019, 05:15:34 PM
iam not doing exploit test on electrum, obviously, but sorry if that was not clear, its on a site of a friend,
i had some problems in receive the payment in electrum, but already fixed

I'm glad you fixed your issue, but for future reference and for any other newbies who see this thread; be skeptical of anyone who contacts you privately claiming to want to help.  As you can see from this thread and many others in this board there are plenty of helpful members who'll do their best to assist you for free, and will do so in public.

Assume anyone who offers help in private, and especially via Telegram, is a scammer.  In fact, Telegram is the worst.  Many scammers will use it to impersonate established, trusted members of of the forum to disarm an unsuspecting victim.
4105  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Bromance of FruitsBasket and CryptoSparks on: September 30, 2019, 04:14:31 PM
I'm skeptical but I can't call it an outright scam.

An honest TL;DR of this whole flag situation.

After all the blatant lies, misinformation, refusal to address legitimate technical questions, and a demonstrable lack of his own technical understanding, would you send him your money?

Being skeptical should not be the standard for using the trust system to destroy people's reputations.

His reputation was destroyed by his own doing and his own words, not our skepticism.  I was skeptical from the moment he posted in the lending board, bob123 was skeptical from the moment he offered to pay for promotions.   But it was days later that I tagged him, and bob123 flagged him.

I understand your concern about abuse of the flag system and the trust system in general, but cryptosparks is really a poor example of the cause for which you fight.  The guy is a shitposting twerp, without any technical knowledge, who's fishing for an opportunity.  I'll do my part to prevent him from obtaining one.

Knowing what I know about this shitbird, I'd feel like a real shitbird myself if I waited until he actually scammed someone before expressing my skepticism.  And in the end, does it really matter?  All I did was express an opinion, anyone who disagrees with it is free to ignore it.  In fact, cryptosparks has repeatedly claimed that this attention he's gotten has been beneficial, and people have flocked into his spider army as a result.
4106  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 3 BTC loan. Payback 3.6 BTC. Terra-hub $55,214.00 as collateral. on: September 30, 2019, 03:23:54 PM
Looking for 3 BTC loan. Payback 3.6 BTC. Terra-hub balance $55,214.00 as collateral.

https://terra-hub.com

Screenshot of my cabinet

https://ibb.co/82k2G7w

Current price is a same as Terra-hub balance $55,214.00 and I'll use it as my collateral, if possible.

So I willing to borrow BTC with amount of 3BTC, ready to pay back 3.6BTC within month.

Pm me, if interested.

Quoting for reference.

That screenshot shows that you have a balance of 55,214 alright.  But to me it looks like that's the balance of CREDIT tokens, not their value in USD.  According to CMC CREDIT tokens are worth $0.000009 each.  55,214 of those shit tokens is worth $0.50.

In order to have $55,214 USD worth of CREDIT tokens, you must own 6,134,888,889 of them, or half of the total supply.

Prove me wrong.

4109  Economy / Lending / Re: New Lending Service on: September 29, 2019, 02:01:01 PM
did someone actually try the service,

or are all such posts just considered scam here?

If I was looking for a loan and chose to work with this lender, I would not send collateral directly to this user.  I would only send collateral to a trusted forum escrow agent.

Here's a list of current escrow providers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910

4110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 28, 2019, 07:16:09 PM
Furthermore, I've recently had a lot of fun getting familiar with high quality, 50-States-Legal CBD vape products, and found stuff that works well to further keep me relaxed, calm, and clear-headed.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Bob.  It takes a lot of guts to discuss these things out in the open.  I wish you the best in dealing with your depression.

However, I would like to warn you about the vape products; be extra super duper careful about your sources.  There's no regulation restricting the ingredients of those vape cartridges, it requires you trusting your sources.  I have a cousin who sells head-shop products wholesale, and one of his suppliers substituted a CBD product he normally buys (and uses) with some shady shit of unknown origin.  My cousin got really sick from that stuff, and could have died it was so bad.  As far as I know no one has died from smoking good-old-fashioned ganja.  The dispensaries around here have plenty of CBD flowers that are nearly devoid of THC.  That may be a better option if it's available to you...  Just be careful.
4111  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Free KeepKey from ShapeShift on: September 28, 2019, 05:10:03 PM
I'm pretty sure there's a way to use the device without registering, but that's their main hook, right?

I just reset my old KeepKey, and attempted (successfully) to initialize it with Electrum, so there is a way to use it without registering for ShapeShift.  There's also the Chrome extension which is how it worked before the merger of ShapeShift and KeepKey.  That still works to initialize and use the wallet.

Link to the KeepKey extension in the google app store:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepkey-client/idgiipeogajjpkgheijapngmlbohdhjg?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog

ShapeShift has two websites (I've never used either) shapeshift.io and shapeshift.com.  I think the .io site is not available to US residents, due to AML laws, but I believe shapeshift.com is available.  I may have that backwards, I haven't scrutinized their terms of service, but I believe it's all laid out in there.

Why are you posting as klendersgz with a signed message claiming you're mendra_2009?  Is this your alt?

Yes this is my alt
I'm owner of mendra_2009

anyway, thanks for confirmed my sign

How about you post fresh message as mendra_2009 using the same address and new signature, so we can confirm the account is actually yours?  What you've done above proves absolutely nothing.

ETA: I've tagged mendra_2009 as a possibly hacked account.  Prove me wrong and I'll remove my review.

4115  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did yahoo's account get hacked? on: September 27, 2019, 09:13:01 PM
Yahoo is trying to help the forum by controlling the yobit campaign would be a more suitable title. I'm def not hacked and how could 1 think so by me taking a job that I normally do already? How does that scream hacked?

As I told Coolcryptovator on telegram, it's better to have someone vs noone watching their campaign. Otherwise its a spam shitstorm and you'll have 100 threads complaining about it like this 1.

Don't take it personally, it's a no win situation.  And like Abe Lincoln said; "you ain't gonna please everyone all the time," or something to that effect.
4116  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did yahoo's account get hacked? on: September 27, 2019, 09:03:22 PM
It is not just about spam but all about yobit's scam history and yahoo's reputation. Personally, I do not like to see a good manager is supporting a services which is having a bad history.

Yobit has definitely had a shady past, but a big part of that is their previous reluctance to curb the spamming of the forum.  We can (and have) debated whether they're scammers, and for the most part the evidence against them has been insubstantial.  Many newbie accounts show up and accuse them of scamming this way or that way, and haven't been able to provide significant evidence.  Eventually the newbies just stop returning to the forum, and disengage from the conversation.  Does that mean they just gave up, or did they get compensated and lost interest in the discussion?  I don't know.

My philosophy about that is "where there's smoke, there's fire" but I'm entitled to my opinion.  I choose to not do business with Yobit, and certainly won't promote them or their alternate forum.

Yahoo's participation in managing the current campaign is by far better for everyone involved than the way their campaigns have been handled in the past.
4117  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 27, 2019, 08:46:59 PM
I am not accepting participants for this campaign. Everything is done on the yobit website, just follow the instructions above. I will however be able to ban anyone I feel is spamming, anyone with justified negative trust, or anyone breaking any of the forums rules as far as campaigns go.

Basically I am a quality checker. Yobit is still maintaining payments and all that via the website. If anyone has any questions feel free to pm me or post them in here.

To all you spam busters, I welcome pms from you if you want to discuss me removing a user you feel is spamming. I will do my best to keep this campaign as spam free as possible.

This is great news.  Best of luck to you Yahoo, I don't envy the monumental task you've signed up for, but with your experience I'm sure you'll have a positive effect on the campaign and keep the forum from getting hammered by spammers.

No, I won't be signing up to promote a competing forum and the exchange with which they are affiliated.  Forgiving their past transgressions will take quite a bit time for me, and I'm sure many others feel the same way.
4118  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 0.06 bitcoin loan. Have collateral on: September 27, 2019, 03:03:22 PM
I'm going to stick up for StackItUp in this situation.  I think the collateral he's offering is valid, but the trouble is the value of any collectible is subjective.  I won't say that the collateral he's offering can easily be sold for the value claimed, one would have to find the right buyer and that could take time.  But it does seem like they are worth what he's claiming based on other transactions I've seen for similar items.

But I do have a question for @StackItUp; it looks like you just bought those stamps a couple of days ago, did you not anticipate that purchasing them would put you in a financial bind?
4119  Other / Meta / Re: And the yobit.net campaign is back on: September 27, 2019, 01:35:11 AM
Also, it says on their page, there are rules (no low quality posts), but I'm not sure how they will enforce that.

This as they insist you wear a personal message that states:

Quote
★ Personal Message must be set to CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!

Obviously a contradiction, and most likely an intentional one.

(bitmixer had a similar style but I think they had someone moderating and could afford a lot more in pay)... Their support was awful though sometimes...
Bitmixer had the same problem until Lauda(?) stepped in. There was also something similar with hilariousandco handling a previously spam-heavy campaign, I believe.

Hhampuz was managing the bitmixer campaign.  Was there a time when they were not managed (mismanaged?)
4120  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Free KeepKey from ShapeShift on: September 26, 2019, 08:31:28 PM
Wait, 100% free? (including shipping?).

Correct.

This line confused me.
Shipping is also free, so the price is definitely affordable.  Wink

Just me being a smartass, get used to it.

I'm registered on Shapeshift but I didn't receive anything (However, I didn't complete KYC).

Neither did I.  I used my simi-anonymous email addresses to register which is where I found the offer, maybe you did the same?

Maybe you can donate it as you already got one? Roll Eyes

Quit being a smartass.   Grin
Actually I planned on doing just that, I'll be giving it to my brother-in-law.
