421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: April 09, 2020, 06:52:05 AM
Hello Community! What’s going on? Hope you guys are safe & staying home! Basically, I live in New York (I’m an expatriate indeed) & you guys know the current situation!! We are suffering badly, although I’m not scared of! Last night I sold my loving 0.67 BTC, since I need cash money!
I believe, in near future when the situation will be normal, I’ll buy it again since I have no doubt on the future of BTC & its use case! Please guys, stay home stay safe & don't forget to pray for us.

This is not the time to save all your crypto. In a dire time like this do not hesitate or regret on what you have done. This is an emergency case and we all know how bad the situation is out there. You can always recover your losses, but you cannot replace life so you did a wise decision for you and your family to survive. I hope all of you guys are doing fine.
That's right it's about surviving from this crisis, if you don't have anything never hesitate to sell your assets as you can manage to recover that when
everything is already settled and the virus is already been cured.
Do whatever you can as long as you still alive chances still there for you to invest back and begin to collect your assets again.

Agree, man. There's no time on holding back for your necessities in times like this. Assets are nothing but a material, living must be on top of all your priorities or else you'll make your life worst. Beside, if we don't have anything left stocks, funds or etc... to start with then selling crypto assets in exchange for goods isn't a bad choice. And I highly believe as well that sooner everything would be settled for good, market and worldwide condition. Lastly, for short reminder keep safe ya'll.

423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 08, 2020, 10:54:35 AM
Yes there are good things like entertainment for yourself or easing the stress inside you thats why you do look for something which would make you enjoy
but of course losing money is part and this isnt fun and its a stressing thing instead.
Become stress is likely to happen for a person expecting too much for winning. While for a person just enjoy gambling for entertainment, I believe he can minimize the stress once losing because he has no serious goal to win. One thing to remind that you must limit the amount of money to gamble. If you only spend a little money, you easily forget it. But if you spend a lot of money, you may have difficulties to admit it.
It will come down to their reasons why they are gambling Cheesy.

Gamblers who are gambling because of money will definitely feel more stress, more regret and more disappointment than the gamblers who are out there just to release their stress after work or just there because they want to get pleasure. The money that will be used will depend on the user. If he just want to gamble for fun then a small amount will be fine already while the ones who are gambling for either money and losses will use more money. More money to use in gambling = more negative emotions to when you lose it.

I somehow agree to the concept of losing huge money feeds more stress, otherwise little amount won't even bother your thoughts. But I still see that the stress origin depends on how someone handles it. Have you ever heard the story of Dave Mustaine, and Pete Best? I could somehow relate it here. So here's the quick story between those two Dave got kicked out of a band which is now the Metallica despite of it he worked hard to become popular as well, he did managed it but he still feel down, and failure (stress) despite getting millions of album sold simply because his former band counts more album sold than his. While, Pete Best despite getting kicked out of his band which is The Beatles, he didn't bother to feel down, failure (stressed) at all as he manage it quite more well than Dave though he loses the opportunity to be popular and wealthy as his former band. Here's the catch, it is not about the amount of money you spent with and loss, stress may come out of nowhere, and in the end it is still up to you on how you'll manage to cope up with it. After all, money is just a material nothing more, nothing less.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DOTA 2] ESL One Los Angeles 2020 MAJOR [GAMBLING DISCUSSION] on: April 08, 2020, 09:24:28 AM

The attitude of Team Nigma, if you have been following them even before they always get into the lower bracket. I don't know if that's sort of strategy to them or they are just adding intense so it's more challenging for them to win when they reach the Semi Finals.

I think that is a strategy or maybe they are trying something else. I think it is a bit of the Path of least resistance but I think they have a strategy in mind. It is Kuroky so we don't really need to be worried about it. I think people would also look at Team Navi right now, they have a good pos 4 that might lead to their good run this tournament. Not surprised with Team Secret though but VP is just amazing too.
Team Nigma's favorite line "Upper Bracket's for bitches" hahaha, you can watch the clip here: Video Clip in Facebook, this is back on the day when they are still Team Liquid. But still, I think they are still doing their what started, lowers bracket then up to the championship  Cheesy
What team I am looking forward also now is the Virtuous Pro, after RAMZES left the team and moved to Evil Genuises, I want Virtuous Pro to prove something even RAMZES left, this team is too strong before on some majors.

Seems a sort of strategy though. May be they are looking for an easier path directly to championship. No idea tbh but this is what I see lol, you know upper brackets consist of much more competitive, and formidable opponents. Nevertheless, whoever team comes down to lower bracket they just destroyed it, like what they did in TNC in the previous TI, the thing is, TNC doesn't have the momentum yet, and they seemed out of the pace that's they been shaken off by Liquid(which is team Nigma by now). But whatever, still rooting for TNC, on the other hand I wanna see OG's chemistry since majority of their players are now off.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 08, 2020, 06:31:52 AM
This is a great campaign initiation on their part and they're encouraging people to wear mask. That's a good reminder because, despite lockdown, there are people who are still insisting not to wear a mask. A reminder that can greatly be seen by Twitter users and that's how they can contribute to fight against covid19.
Did you join the campaign?

People who insist on not wearing mask really are troublesome. But this problem can be solved by a community/LGUs there on not allowing these people have their way without wearing mask. Here in my area, there were rules that prohibits people have their business outside, and prohibits from entering malls without 'em wearing a mask. Though having such kind of a game really helps to at least bring awareness, and warning how life threatening the virus can be if we won't cooperate to one another simply by doing necessary precautionary measures on our own. Love the idea, well, on the other hand I couldn't think of more beside accepting crypto as donations to charities, and beneficiaries to at least help as financial assistance, and be lessen the burdens they already have.

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 08, 2020, 04:10:00 AM
As long as you know that now everyone is guided by the internet, of course the news is a mainstay for all people, no wonder the news about cryoto, blockhain, industry, good and bad are driven by existing news.
Not a few people do something good and bad based on the news.
This is the same as the crypto market or the like can move and retreat based on news, for that if the news is loaded positively everyone will move forward and vice versa.

Agree, news were the main platform community would look for prior to making their decision upon doing something else. I could say, that, news fuels the drive of everyone on doing some clueless stuff. What I mean, is that if there's no source behind such activity then news could be a signal whether to go through or not. It's been ages since media exist, and it really make the world go different simply by hearing different news and such, and so the market as well. At some point good, 'cause it triggers people to act accordingly rather than to be an ignorant one.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 04:36:52 PM
Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.

What is your opinion about the USDT coin?

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.

As being mentioned USDT or not, stablecoins or not there are no guarantees here to satisfy your thoughts about not losing. However, I won't recommend it but the practical usage of it may come in time sooner, you might just not need it for the mean time. Opinions here are totally diverse, you might get yourself confused. Either way, it would still be up to you whether to pick this up or not. But keep into consideration the suggestion/opinions here, so that you'll at least have foundation to back up your thoughts.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 07, 2020, 12:38:23 PM
Insure just pause now, maybe they will come back again after one month later. Actually insure already listed some exchange with cmc even price more down but volume not bad. Basically they listing cmc it's doesn't means this project more profitable because it's will be depends team activity with their development roadmap. If insure team will countinue their development process then insure can give successful profitable.
Anyway, here telegram announced about why campaign now pause:

Looks like OP did see different than this. It is not like that the bounty were going halt suddenly without partcular reason, and will leave ya'll behind. Or may be the announcement is kinda late but now things are settle. Participants must root for 'em and give 'em a warm acceptance, since they stand still on what they promised. Well, no one's excused with this pandemic, so it is expected to have this sudden circumstances. Anyway, take care like what the project did on their precautionary measures.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first BTC ATM in Nigeria on: April 07, 2020, 08:46:35 AM
African giant Nigeria has set up it's first Bitcoin automated teller machine in the country, citizens of Nigeria are famous for bitcoin trading and investment and they are top in that aspect in Africa. Though this is not the first BTC ATM in the continent(Africa)as countries like South Africa, Kenya, Ghana Botswana, Uganda, Djibouti and Zimbabwe all have bitcoin ATM's in their countries. Many parts of Africa still remains underdeveloped, due to bad government, but bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can help alleviate the condition and state of things over there for the individuals taking the opportunity.
Quote
A Bitcoin startup in Nigeria, Blockstale BTM, has installed the very first Bitcoin Automated Teller Machine in Nigeria.
According to the startup, the ATM was installed at Dazey Lounge and Bar in Lagos and the company is planning to install at least 30 BTC ATMs across the nation.
Source of information: https://investorsking.com/blockstale-btm-installs-bitcoin-atm-in-nigeria/

Agree that BTC might help out somehow for the further development. Nigeria did made a wise decision their however I don't really see the need of the following countries to follow up, and install some stuff out their believing it could sort things out. Nigeria, however, kind of late but it seems they assess necessary stuff first; like it needs to be work fine, and smooth and so the installment like ATMs won't go to waste. In addition, I am really glad that the government there aren't against with such ideology.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment for Exploit. on: April 07, 2020, 07:53:01 AM
Good thing that hackers ask for money in return instead of digging directly to patients credentials, and enjoy living a life they didn't worked out for. Why is this a good thing? It simply just reveals how vulnerable the hospital's security itself. Worse possible circumstance than this could possibly happen. Although it seems bad to look at, but looking at it on the other hand, it really helps the security of the hospital to tighten up more or else everything would be doomed. The thing is, do hackers really return the credentials without even looking upon a single sheet of those files? You know it is easy to play pretend nowadays.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 06:14:55 AM
No offense but this is a pretty stupid question. Gambling can lead to suicide but there's a way to stop it. If you catch the virus and your immunity system is downhill already, good luck stopping it from screwing around.

The virus may be a problem now, but it's not going to last forever. There will be a treatment for it indeed. Even if you lose money through gambling, there are ways to recover. If you're addicted, there are ways to stop it. It's not a health condition and your chances to start contemplating suicide don't increase if you have pre-existing health conditions.

Big, big difference between the two and literally no link between them... One is an addiction leading to suicidal thoughts, the other is a virus ..

Man, you aren't alone, I see this topic as stupid as well. I don't mean to hurt OP's feeling but his question isn't like something that needs to be weigh off. Since in the end, money won't mean nothing to you if you're being doomed by health matters that hasn't any sort of treatments, vaccines or what. Money is just a material, nothing more, nothing less. If you see life behind it, and used as a metric to value your so-called successful life then, IMO, you need to assess your POV once again.

Get up, buddy.

We don't need to make him/her feel uneasy. I know that we're grateful to him/her but digging more to his/her identity would bother him/her. He/She doesn't hide behind doors for no reason, and going across the line seemed to show no respect, at least. Satoshi may be loves watching his/her creation work supposedly, and functions as to how he/she designed it rather than to have countless of recognition, not the type of guy who wants spotlight everywhere, he's no Craig Wright, not even close. Well, enough of it, for me he's/she's alive.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 06, 2020, 05:04:25 AM
While in the previous weeks and the month of the March the market price of the bitcoin form 8k dollars it immediately falls down into 3.8k dollars and many investors grab the opportunity on this to make more profit in the future because now it is recovering from the market and now many investors and analysis look forward to the price of the bitcoin because in just a single week it has a huge change and it is become stable on the price of 6.7k to 6.8k because of the previous investment there is 23.8 billion dollar increase to the price of the crypto. From the previous week, the price of the bitcoin comes into 7k dollars and that was good news to us, and today there are a lot of people buying a lot of bitcoin instead of selling because we all know it will go up for the upcoming halving but still we cannot make sure the market price movement will continuously increase. As this kind of changes would you rather still invest or buy a lot of bitcoin or sell?.
This just portrays that people are really into hype which is a bad habit. If they were being cautious on deciding when to buy then at $4k would be the best. Majority here didn't accept that it was already a great come back,  which IMO were already, considering the amount you could gain in a time span of its recovery,  perhaps due to amount they lose not knowing that the market are going to crash soon. Nonetheless, it was more over a subjective POV, and so, excuse, and don't get me wrong.

      ~

I think there's no doubt na mae-extend talaga ang ECQ by at least 2 weeks or a month. Considering the statement by General Galvez ika nga:

      Quote
"With the announcement of the Chief Implementer, [retired] General Galvez, that mass testing can only be conducted on April 14, which is still 11 days from now, we are left with no other choice but to extend the ECQ by at least two weeks," he said.

"Mass testing of persons under monitoring and persons under investigation is the only way to determine if we are winning the war or not. Without mass testing, we are totally blind," he added.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año earlier said an extension is not advisable as this would hurt the country's economy.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque, four days ago, said it was too early to say if the implementation of the Luzon-wide quarantine should be prolonged.

      Source: https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/732536/senators-weigh-in-on-possible-extension-of-enhanced-community-quarantine/story/

Totoo naman talaga na bulag tayo sa biggest possibilities behind. Hindi natin alam exact case or even the closest possible amount of cases we already have in this country. Mass testing to PUIs and PUMs lang makakapagdala somehow ng clear vision sa kalagayan natin dito sa bansa. Thus, further decisions might come up whether to lift up exclusively either sa mga businesses (since babagsak na ang ekonomiya natin, or sa school matters which is malabo) or unfortunate man tingnan we might even experience longer ECQ kasi siyempre magkakaroon pa ng contact tracing 'yan para ma-isolate na agad mga possible carrier or not.

Bukod pa rito, sinusuportahan na rin ni VP Leni Robredo itong extension. Here's the source:

      Quote
MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo said Sunday she will support an extension of the enhanced community quarantine, but underscored that it was “crucial” for the government to explain to the people why it was necessary and that assistance should be expedited.
      Source: https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1254099/robredo-backs-lockdown-extension

Since nag-lead na si VP Leni Robredo, panigurado may ba-back na rin sa idea na 'to. The biggest problem is:

      Quote
“Pero crucial para mag-cooperate ang mga tao, crucial na naiintindihan nila kung bakit kailangan gawin. Kung hindi nila naiintindihan bakit kailangan gawin, ‘yung resistance nandyan,” she said.

(It’s crucial that for people to cooperate, they need to understand why we need to do this. If they can’t understand why, there will be resistance.

The vice president also believes that the local government units instead of the Department of Social Welfare and Development would know better about the processing the national government’s social amelioration program.

“Ako naniniwala ako na ang LGU ang dapat gumagawa nito. Ang LGU yung may sense kung ano talaga ang nangyayari on the ground, LGU ang nakakaalam ng landscape,” she said.

Let me highlight 'yong biggest problem
      Quote
      ‘yung resistance nandyan

      Source: https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1254099/robredo-backs-lockdown-extension

Well, resistance once again. Feeling ko kahit saan naman lumugar gobyerno 'di na mawawala 'tong pag-alma lalo na itong 1 month pa lang na ECQ marami na nakaramdam ng hirap at 'di nakipag-cooperate what more 'yong possible extension pa?

Talk about LGUs naman.

Here's another good news mga kabayan:

do you see it as an investment?
How can someone think gambling is a kind of investment? Does it guarantee you profits or the amount of money?
I never see it as an investment, gambling is a game and the prize is just a bonus. I suggest everybody to not rely on gambling for the future dream. You are better to put your money on Bitcoin or other potential coins.
Talk about differences, this guy was totally different among the other gamblers out there. I see him as an exceptional one, betting his whole life in it. Here's his thread: [AMA] The Life of a Professional Gambler. Try to look on his point of view about gambling, I bet you'll see him as an exceptional one either. I never thought that there were such thing as professional gambler till I see his thread. Don't get me wrong, I don't suggest to rely on gambling, either. It is just that there were amazing people like him who see gambling in different way, I never thought someone would.

      When will people learn?
It really sucks to say this, but this won't going to end, IMO. People who experienced it on hand, had seen the problem prior to doing it may be able to avoid, however, people who aren't aware and an easy to trick one, for sure would took the bait. And no matter how we keep 'em away from such disaster as long as they won't help themselves it will be a forever journey. Beside, such trick comes in different ways we didn't thought possible.
