421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Favorite PoS coins on: March 13, 2019, 08:48:15 AM
So with rising energy costs as well as difficulties rising, I feel PoS coins are the way to go and definitely have a future. What are some of your favorite PoS coins? No masternodes either. While I get the concept, they are detrimental to the goals of decentralization.
I have a lot of good pos coins in my possession, but I think the ones I like so much is EOS and ETH, I love this two projects because I see a prospect in them in the nearest future, we have already began to see that this coins will make name in the future following the coin market.

I like to advise those who don't already have this coins in their possession to make purchase of them now that they are still so cheap in the market before you miss out just like most of us missed out from bitcoin.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This IS The End Of The Bear Market [Inside] on: March 13, 2019, 07:15:26 AM
I agree with you. Seems like the remaining investors now are shall we say they are the matured in crypto investment perhaps and the ones selling before are the ones who don’t realize the true essence of blockchain. This stability we experience now seems like theres no more huge dropping will likely happen also.
This is exactly what I have been doing now, though my hunt if for the smaller coins because the tops coins like BTC,ETH are already very expensive to accumulate more but I look for other altcoins with viable projects such as BNB, ADA etc to invest in more, while we await the bull market though I doubt if all coins bearish market has ended, we still have some few coins which are not shitcoins experience decline in their price but this makes it a good point to enter. This time for other stable coins is also good for short term trading.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FUTUREPIA coin name changed to PIA on: March 12, 2019, 09:05:41 PM
Why was the name changed from futurePIA to PIA, is it that the project has been developed making it not to be a future project but now a present project.

I also don't know what the project is about and how it is going to help the crypto community, do you guys have an ANN thread on this forum were I can check out the full details about the project and also see the reviews of others towards the project, just want to do this so that I can confirm if the project is a good one with real life value or it's one of those projects that don't have anything to offer.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This project literally ends Phishing. Kind of cool on: March 12, 2019, 07:48:53 PM
https://www.quant.network/our-technology/goverify/

If your bank or a company calls you, texts you or emails you then you can know 100% its a legit contact and not fake. Huge for enterprise.
I don't think phishing can be curtailed by people because it has always been in existing since the launch of the internet and many people still fall victim for this kind of scam done by developers.

The best we can do now is to create awareness about phishing and how it works so that users can be more careful when visiting a website, this scam of phishing is becoming rampant every day and it's our responsibility to protect our community and the members especially newbies who just came into the space and are not familiar with this type of things.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on the industries of Blockchain, AI and Project Nebula AI on: March 12, 2019, 07:22:29 PM
This is a very nice article and really gives a good explanation and analysis and different technology in existence that will change the world.

Right from the first day I was invited to the blockchain space by a friend , I fell in love with the technology and I have since then been committed to it and always love to see upgrade going on. Blockchain is the future, the earlier everyone knows this, the better.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amon Wallet powered by AI system on: March 12, 2019, 06:58:03 PM
Imagine a world where AI helps you to save money in all your purchases, from paying rent to buying groceries or paying fuel. With Amon AI it will be possible! Download your Amon wallet now! 🤳🏽 https://amon.tech/
Wow , it is cool to see a wallet that is built on AI technology, I don't think we have any crypto project yet that has been built on AI technology making this a very great idea and easy to use platform, though we might still have to carry out some research about the project before we begin to make use of it so that we won't have any problem in the future while making use of the platform, nice one by you and your team try to keep up the good work.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Money - unconstrained by geography or institutions ? on: March 12, 2019, 05:47:16 PM
"Money should move as easily as email does; money should be native to the internet, unconstrained by geography or institutions." - Beniamin Mincu CEO www.elrond.com

https://twitter.com/ElrondNetwork/status/1105046195246981120

What do you think?
Yes I agree with you, money needs to be fully off the hands of the government who controls money by printing as much amount as they need thereby causing inflation in the economy of the system, we need a money that is controlled by the people and should have a consensus before more money is been created and bitcoin is making this happen already, this makes bitcoin and other cryptocurrency government biggest threat.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some good recent ICOs that offers passive income? on: March 12, 2019, 05:05:57 PM
I don't see there is any ICO that currently gives passive income to its investors in the form of shares, this is a feature mostly offered by security tokens which I think is becoming better than just a normal token since companies that carry out STO are now regulated by the government and those companies must pass through a thorough verification by government agencies before giving you the license to raise funds from investors.

I think it's best to invest in this kind of project than to throw you money in a project that you are not sure of it's future.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: March 12, 2019, 02:44:18 PM
I am about to reach a milestone is my trading/investing and am going to reevaluate my trading strategy moving forward.
I want to set myself a goal of increasing my BTC by 10% a week (compounded) and wondering what is the best way to do this
Should I invest in small cap coins, coins with high volume. Invest in one coin a week or to different trades each day.
What would you recommend and is it achievable long term

10% in a week is not impossible but it will need expert hands on trading. You will have to do it regularly to achieve 1-2% daily and diversity in your investment is needed (not to invest all in a single coin).
In this bear market conditions it's better to do short term trading instead of long term.
Definitely it is possible even if the market is still at bearish because we can use the sideway movement to make small profits and keep repeating this many time to reach 5% profits daily but it is not reachable everyday but 10% in a week is possible for me.
Yes, 10% weekly is not that challenging and I think most of the peoples might be having such profits even now without using major trading strategy. Investing into ROM(Rise Only Markets) itself can book a slot of high profits for us because these kind of markets are always going upwards so invest into one of ROM markets can make it happen if that market has the potential.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which you prefer to Gambling, on betting DApp or Gambling in Dice site? on: March 12, 2019, 12:51:31 PM
I feel like I'm interested on the game you shared, that one with sports betting. -----  Is that an android app?
I hope they can be found in the google playstore, I will surely install and try to play.

Both games are good, they have been here for awhile and continue to entertain us, but I believe DApp is the future of gambling.
yes when we are seeing the technical side the DAPP will be more important in the gambling to develop in the future but both are very attractive and easy to make money for everyone in gambling show all the types of gambling will be useful and different approach for anyone.
Not all types of gambling are profitable. Gambling too needs a lot of strategies and deep knowledge before we can play with anything. Gambling is not preferred by maximum of the community behind several reasons. In what we will have profits totally depends on what knowledge and experience we posses in the gambling field.

Playing blind can never make us earn huge profits. Gambling itself is much attractive to make more and more peoples fall for it.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: March 12, 2019, 10:18:48 AM
I'm looking for places to invest BTC. Are there any decent options other than casinos?

It's possible to lend BTC at Bitfinex and Poloniex, but interest rates are ridiculously low. What else is there that isn't an evident scam (like ponzi schemes)?
There are a lot of other options where you can lend you bitcoins if you want to have profits with low risk. You can also go for POS mining where you can get daily dividends for storing your funds onto the wallet. Casinos are also a good option to invest into but the profits there would entirely depend upon the strategy you are using.

The more risk you will take, the more will be the profits and vice versa no risk will tend to less or no profits. Be aware about ponzi schemes as there are a lot in the markets.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins daily.. How do they do it? on: March 11, 2019, 09:39:01 PM
Creating a token or starting your own copy cat coin is nowadays as easy as that a high school boy can do that. So, it's normal that thousands of coins are there but problem is everyone is shit.

if you have $100 you can have your own token and a whitepaper for your project, this is a very cheap for a start an additional $400 you can launch your own ICO you can hire people on the service section or on Fiverr to be part of your team and create your website, you do not need to spend more on bounty campaign you have your token to give away, that's how easy it is.
Yes, it has turned much easy for anyone to launch their own token sale along with the Initial Coin Offering sale which is heavily crowding the ICO markets. Peoples are trying to create as much as possible scam projects which have no other intention rather that collecting the funds and running away.

I think trusting only those ICO which are been running since years might be good for each investor as newly launched ICOs can’t be trusted.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: March 11, 2019, 09:26:27 PM
There needs to be a lot of changes which should be done to the ICO sales to make them more trustworthy as not each investor these days have faith into these kind of sales. On other hand, the sales which you mentioned started by binance are really smooth with a solid team and a good roadmap which is been followed so they were been sold out in less than half hour.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: March 11, 2019, 08:36:12 PM
Hey, Guys, I am jak3, I came back after 1year. (i barely visited this forum in this 1year) but I remember when I left this forum there was a lot of bitcoin campaigns and a lot of discussion topics. But nowadays people are only talking about altcoins. Can you guys tell me what I am missing till now or what exactly did happen under this 1year? I do have some idea about merits thought. Hope I can get a grip back into the discussions.

but we need first to accumulate large and huge volume of tokens if that so? I think if you return in a year without really investing today, you still have no crops to harvest. Just do nothing to gain profit which is not productive.
A year ago, investments were been treated positively and also investing in any coin at that time was been profitable for now. That really was a plus point for everyone who are been enrolled among the community since last few years. If you might have been bought some tokens/coins at the time you quit markets and forget about them then you might surely have been huge profits until now.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: The mentality of an average wannabe investor on: March 11, 2019, 06:46:24 PM
Wannabe investors? Get in, do what you can to get a quick windfall, get out fast. Oh, and at the slightest sign of trouble, they sell out and move on. This kills markets, all kinds of markets, not just the crypto mkt. Speculators have a negative effect, they live on the wild swings in the value of crypto.
That’s it, I think they are just impatient and do not really have the mindset of true investors, going in and getting out fast at a very little fall is seriously dangerous to the market. They start spreading negative rumors that can have negative impact on the market. I think people should be thoroughly enlightened about investment before they are made to commit their money.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crash or Rise – Binance Price Prediction 2019 on: March 11, 2019, 06:12:02 PM
Every single BNB-based ICO gets a major price pump - just look at them.
People are just beginning to get hyped about BNB, I think $50 is not out of the question.
With the way Binance community are doing very well and the project getting stronger, I actually expect more than $50 but I am still a bit skeptical if I should buy more now or it will still go lower than the current price of 15.54 usd it is now, my instinct told me to buy around February when It was still 7 usd but I felt otherwise, I should have used better analysis.

Could it be that the bull run for BNB is fast approaching, I think I might just have to risk buying more because I expect BNB to rise to 100 usd this year.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market looks boring 2019 on: March 11, 2019, 02:22:20 PM
This year will be stable in look of price for all cryptos. It will be good to see some spikes like one that was few weeks ago and made change in bitcoin price. Only way is to look and hope for some small change in price so that it can be made at least some profit in this year in bitcoin. Always stay to invest in ICO with high risk and huge profit.

So far it does not look boring already.

The market seems to stabilize and price is going uptrend although we have not seen a major pump.
It will all start with a small one and as long as we are seeing this trend, it will excite us all the time.
The major pump will not happen until next year 2020, what we will experience this year will be lots of fluctuations which a lot of us can still benefit from if we are into short term trading but for some of our coins dedicated and termed long term investment.

I think we have to keep our hopes down now against 2020 but all I am sure is that the market is already in all time low and will not go deeper than this, we will be experiencing little increase till next year, precisely late next year when the bull run will set bitcoin to all time high of 20000 usd again.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Initiators and Team need KYC more than Investors on: March 11, 2019, 01:51:03 PM
It is fair to say that for the trust and tranquility of the investor to the projects it is not enough just the photos of the developers on the site. Organizers are required to provide accurate information about themselves with all the necessary contacts to communicate, otherwise fraud with the ICO will only increase
You are right mate and it has also gotten to the stage now where whitepaper is no longer enough to proof the authenticity of a project, even with white paper with all manner of photos and paid write ups, lots of investors are still being scammed, in as much as I understand that the block chain industry is created for main purpose of decentralization.

I think ICOs should be excluded please and make them go through all manner of necessary legal registrations before they can promote their ICOs and that can only happen if many top countries to stop fighting crypto currency and give it a full back up.
What you have said is just the truth, I don't think KYC is needed to be done by the users of the platforms since they use bitcoin in the purchase of this tokens and no fiat, they should leave KYC to exchanges and other companies, and they should be a company that verifies the team behind a projects before they even begin ICO. This should be made compulsory for every member of an ICO project to carry out KYC and including certificate on their website so that we can be able to verify their identity before investing in their project.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accredited Investor Portals for buying ICO on: March 11, 2019, 01:16:34 PM
What do you actually mean when you talk about crypto accredited portals, are you not referring to ICO or STO , STO are very much regulated by the government and they are investment platforms where investors can invest money into a project in order to make profit in return in few months or even years, one of the popular company that carried out an STO recently is binance exchange which is the most popular crypto exchange in the world.

I don't understand the part you are talking about down payment, maybe you can throw more light on what exactly you are looking for.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: States sponsoring crypto hacking on: March 11, 2019, 10:22:18 AM
I don't think a government would be involved in that kind of act to scam people of their money, though anything is possible in this world, it is possible they are doing it just to make people scared about investing in crypto because they know that crypto is a very big threat to their economy and also their control over money.

If this act can be committed by a state, then I see a very big issue in the future for many crypto companies.
