Holy incoming updates!

I may have to deem this release 4.0 because the changes are that drastic!

New Theme in place. There a few little inconsistencies with stats and things lining, but I'll get them worked out.

Most of the new pool backend is in place.

Block monitoring is now every minute, along with updates to won blocks.

Awesome. PPLNS is good stuff.

When are you going to update the last month hashrate chart to have the most recent day always be at the right? Wink

I'll get to it one of these days..... Maybe tonight if I finish the new site look.

Awesome!  Grin
BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!!!!

Yes, yet ANOTHER lucky block, that's 5 for 6!

Next block will be Last N Shares!
(where N is 1/2 difficulty)

Is that exactly info you want to give out? People will read that and think, "sweet, I'll just wait two days and jump on!"
Just sayin'!

It is, because we're just as likely to get it before they join in as after they leave Wink

Hmm, you must have been using shares_history different that I am.  My "shares" is only as large as the current round, old round gets cut and pasted into history.  Never have to do joins or unions.

So you throw away the hash data for shares counted?  I haven't been brave enough to do that on my history.

I do, once it the round is paid out it's already been verified. I don't see much historical value in past blocks outside of share counts and block finder.

Got a whole lot of behind the scenes changes in the works. Wink

balances are fixed, your shares should jump up shortly too

Update: Shares fixed, bonus sent!

Sorry for the delay, fixing these geometric scores from a restored backup is a royal pain in the ass.

Once the new balance is in place I'll open up payment again. After that any shares that were miscounted as part of the round will be re-inserted into this round.

Finally, I think I'm done with cheat-proof scoring..... anyone object to lastNshares?

The hung cronjob caused the round scoring to break, which broke payouts (underpaying most and overpaying a few). I've disabled payouts until I run the round on the backup.

I'll be happy when I see it on the webpage!!

Better yet, how about it's confirmed. cronjob was locked up.

Really locked up.... need to make sure everything sorts correctly.

About to move the sql server to it's new home.. I have the install time down to a minimum, the pool should only be down for a minute or two.

UPDATE: Had some firewall issues pop up, but everything is on the new sql dedicated box now.

Seems to reload fast now! Though it may just be that no one is connected!

No, the replication sever is hiccupping, I'll have it sorted shortly. PS, there might be a new block Wink

Haha! That's funny, because I was just wondering if in the couple minutes of downtime we missed our block share! Or basically throws off our "block expected" time!

Would be great though!

Stats haven't updated yet, but it looks like Parja won us a block!

Ok, server is now free, no fees. It will have to survive off donations alone!

That said Donations would be nice!

Now donating 1% again!

Let me know if you need more to survive Smiley

Thanks!

I'll be implementing a tiered donation reward system in the near future. Encouraging donations, and adding some worthwhile features!

shares is only as large as the current round. Why split that data into 2 tables, when you need to join or union them every time?

after the current round confirms I condense the shares into shares_counted to drastically lower the amount of data.
440  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Pushpool Web Frontend] Simplecoin v2.0(v3 experimental) Opensource PHP/MySQL on: August 05, 2011, 04:32:57 AM
Shares history was essentially an extension of shares, but it required lots of additional joins and unions. It made queries painfully processor intensive when they didn't need to be.

Shares counted is the counted sum of valid/invalid shares per round.

As for MyIsam, that was an oversight, I'll fix that before the code is finalized.
