421  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [DeFi SCAM] Yearn Finance Decentralized - plagiarized whitepaper on: October 24, 2020, 12:50:08 PM

Can't wait for all this hype to pass, but I'm afraid consequences will be even worse than that ICO hype back in 2017/2018.
Yeah you are right. These DeFi projects are making the situation much worse and investors are running after them without thinking about the risk factors. Most of these DeFi projects have anonymous team but they are creating hype among investors through showing Yearn Finance success. Although some Defi projects are taking taken legal license from their government and sharing details about their real team but most others are hiding it.

I don't think this situation will last for long and investors will be able to realize after having bad experiences like fake ICO projects. Maybe this is why scammers are in hurry to launch their project and this one is a clear example of that.

423  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC and escrow scam atempt on: October 23, 2020, 11:12:56 PM

As much as I'd like to red tag him right now I agree that screenshots of the conversation are at least required. All the warning signs are there but some people will ignore all of them if the "-1" is not in front of their trust score.

I have already suggested "OP" to share more evidences and in this case his telegram conversations are important. Although most of time this kinda scammers erase all their footprints and clearing telegram chat history is one of the common thing they do after not getting successful.

Looking forward to see updates from thread creator and this guy did a good job by ignoring  telegram based deals which saved him from getting scammed.

424  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC and escrow scam atempt on: October 23, 2020, 05:02:02 PM
Good to see that as a newbie you are giving priority to forum PM rather than email or telegram chats and its the thing which can save many newbies from getting scammed.  After reading your description it seems to me that whenever you get agree with him to use escrow service for your bitcoin selling you may shared the escrow name with him and he tried to make you fool by sending emails from similar looking email address.

Though your story isn’t complete and kinda hard to get exactly what you are trying to say. I think you are trying to say that the same user have used multiple account and contacted you to complete the deal. Whenever you cancelled one then he came through another one and tried to act like trusted escrow service providers. Right?

Sorry to say that you haven’t added enough evidences on your topic and i will suggest you to add your conversation screenshots to make your accusation stronger.

You can use this escrow service  Escrow Service of Bl4nkcode [Active] and his service is Active now. Don't forget to send him PM first.

427  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-10-22] 10% of bitcoins haven't moved in over 10 years on: October 22, 2020, 05:56:47 PM
10% of bitcoins haven't moved in over 10 years

According to the Glassnode service, 1.8 million BTC have not moved in over 10 years.
Among 1.8 million BTC 1 million is sleeping on creator's account and most probably rest 0.8 million bitcoin holders are waiting for next all time high price or some of them may lost their wallet access. There is lots of stories about bitcoin holder who spent their BTC for small reason or forgot their account credentials and after 10 years now they are realizing what mistakes they have done. Although its was not so easy for early bitcoin holders to get idea about its future value.

At the moment, the bitcoin supply is about 18.5 million BTC, which makes almost 10% of the mined coins inactive. Today, the total value of sleeping bitcoins exceeds $23 billion.

Most of these coins may belong to the creator of the cryptocurrency Satoshi Nakamoto, who has remained silent since 2011. It is estimated that Nakamoto owns 1 million coins that have been inactive since mining.
The amount of BTC which is belongs to creator's account its current value is 13 billion and most of us know that it will remain same until any miracle happen. We can expect rest of the amount which may get active in the future.

We can get some interesting information about Bitcoin God from here, Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney)

429  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PRIMEDICE SCAMED ME ALL DEPOSIT XRP AND BTC on: October 20, 2020, 10:54:57 PM
i did contact them and support ask me to give them id and picture  of me

and i will not do that because im not agree about them term when i sing up and i was not read it because  i did not see it i just great username and password and enter to site so i deposit thats all
Please keep patience and you can contact them directly through bitcointalk PM. They have their official announcement here on this forum and you can make a reply on their thread. Sometime its kinda difficult to solve all issues through support in a short time due to long list of support tickets and we don't know actually what happened with you.

In a situation like this i will suggest you not to put blame on them before giving little bit extra time to solve it from their end.

Here is Primedice ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.0

I have already sent a PM to Stunna  and shared this accusation link with him. Lets wait for his response here.

431  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinBene - The World's Leading Trustworthy Crypto Assets Platform on: October 20, 2020, 05:55:46 PM
Probably almost all, I just checked a few pages below, especially the registration page and login page which I think is very sensitive.

Code:
http://www.coinbene.com/auth/register/phone
http://www.coinbene.com/auth/login?backurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.coinbene.com%2F&source=contract

http://www.coinbene.com/
http://www.coinbene.com/spot/exchange/BTC_USDT
http://www.coinbene.com/spot/markets

Coinbene website Url with "http:" and "https:" both is working from my end. I have discussed with exchange authority about this and they told me that their developer will take a look soon.

Here is login and Signup page view with secure "https";

I have already suggested "OP" to update the website link on their official ANN with the secure one. I think he will do it after getting online.

432  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] CoinBene Signature Campaign | Full Member+ | Up to 0.0035 BTC/week on: October 20, 2020, 05:08:21 PM

Oh, i am sorry Talkstar, I really didn't check their official thread before because I just wanted to tell everyone to raise awareness about any campaign before they start promoting it. I hope the team finishes this quickly and the campaign goes according to plan and provided that they have resolved the problem especifically with the code signature. We just hope people don't register on site that are not safe when it comes to trading their asset.
It's not your mistake where it was your responsibility to notify me and you did that well. After launching their ANN multiple user have detected this SSL issue and interesting thing is that if you visit the website through google searching then SSL will work properly for you. Before your detection i have discussed with team about this and they have already delivered this report to their devs.

For visitors safety I have already updated signature banner with the secure website link, https://www.coinbene.com

Coinbene authority have already added banner on their website about bitcointalk. I think its gonna help lot more crypto users to know about our community.

433  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] CoinBene Signature Campaign | Full Member+ | Up to 0.0035 BTC/week on: October 20, 2020, 04:35:30 PM
Of course, I've seen him manage different campaign before and had no problems with "if I'm not mistaken" payment. But I think people should pay attention to this one before they decide to promote an exchange.
There are two different url present in this campaign redirecting people to the same site but with different security certificates. The first is safe with the url "https:" and the second is insecure with the url "http:"
If you try to click on the signature banner used by attendees, I believe you will be redirected to an unsafe site. However, if you enter from the OP's greeting, you will be taken to a safe site. Has anyone noticed this before ?
Why is this different ?

Code:
1. https://www.coinbene.com/ (secure)
2. http://www.coinbene.com/ (not secure)

Impressive investigation done by you. I have already notified Coinbene team about this SSL issue and they assured me that their developer will solve it as soon as possible. Thanks for letting me know about this but you may haven't checked their official thread yet. They have already made a reply about that there.

Note: List of selected participants will be announced soon. Please complete your application submission process if you haven't done yet.
434  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] CoinBene Signature Campaign | Full Member+ | Up to 0.0035 BTC/week on: October 20, 2020, 04:22:54 PM
I would like to know how you guarantee that the bounty participants are paid. Are you using an escrow, who is holding the campaign funds (e.g. TalkStar who is managing the campaign)? I am asking this because you registered your account about a week ago and your announcement thread was created yesterday.
It is to notify you that as a professional campaign manager we never take risks with campaign participants payment and I am holding campaign participants payment on my wallet.

Feel free to knock me anytime and don't hesitate to share your information with me. We are not here to spoil someone's reputation or helping anyone to steal peoples money.

Wait, what? You have offices in over 180 countries worldwide? Sounds little much to me lol. You must have thousands of employees. What do you need all this offices for (just for reference e.g. Binance has twelve offices)? Never heard of an exchange, which has an office in almost any country in the world. Do you have a proper licence in all these countries? I am asking this, because the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin, Germany) warned in 2019, that your exchange hasn't a proper German licence.
Its a typo mistake by them and you may haven't checked their website or the signature banner. Sometimes we need to examine by our own what is a typo mistake and what is genuine. I will suggest you to check their website and if you need more details please make reply on their official thread.

I have a high respect to Talkstar I have seen him reporting a lot of scam projects and I supported some of his reports, he has done is assignment and he can address this issue at the right time, he will not let lose his reputation promoting projects with proven and legit bad reports.
Thanks for showing respect on my work . Please check their explanation which they have already provided from their end. I hope you will get all your answer from that.
435  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcointalk copper member for seller. on: October 20, 2020, 12:17:26 AM
I have seen that you have mentioned on his/her account selling thread about a PM that you got from his/her end. To prove that i will suggest you to add the screenshot of that message or conversation here.

Note: This user have already another alt account (or more) which get active recently after a long period of inactivity.

I'm quite certain you're trying to frame this user for making an accusation against you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282603
Yeah if i am not wrong then OP and the account seller is connected together and trying to frame "vareole" due to opening a flag against him.

436  Economy / Services / Re: ⭐ TalkStar - Campaign Management Service (Hire Now) ⭐ on: October 19, 2020, 05:59:24 PM
I see there have been some people who have complained about their issues against this exchange before based on this post. How do you respond as a manager, will all the participant who will be accepted be at risk such as payment or reputation that the participant will receive ?
Thanks for making your response here. As a professional campaign manager we never take risks with participants payment and it is to notify you that i am holding advance fund for participants weekly payment.

To get more details i will suggest you to visit the Coinbene signature thread again and take a look on "Special Note" area. I have mentioned about participants payment safety and the risk factor of investment.

Coinbene authority will make their explanation about scam accusations against them and its their part. I hope they will make their response on this issue soon and we will be able to know whether the accusation is valid or not.

438  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Trust Wallet Reward Fake Giveaway on: October 19, 2020, 04:37:17 PM
I have seen exact similar giveaway like this one few weeks earlier but that was telegram based. Although i am not sure about that domain but frontend design and rewards claim option was exactly same. Just like this scammers they were trying to get the control of users trust wallet through private keys. Most probably this one is running by the same group of scammers where they have just changed the platform of advertising.

I will personally suggest every single newbies to be aware about this kinda obvious fake giveways and don't lose your crypto assets by running after it.
439  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 19, 2020, 03:03:37 PM
