621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: August 30, 2020, 07:15:29 PM
Many people I know formed a bias that cryptocurrencies are inherently risky and you shouldn't invest in them more than you can afford to lose.
Its not only for crypto currency related investment but also for other field of investment. If you anyone haven't got enough backup fund then its better not to take excessive amount of risk.

I agree with the above statement in a certain extent, but I'd like to ask the community. Is it riskier to place your money in Bitcoin or hold them in a fiat savings account? What's your opinion?
If you want to put all the assets you got then i am not gonna support you. Every investment have two equal side (Profit & Loss) and you have to keep that on mind. I don't think you will find any investment option which have no risk factor and bitcoin is not different from that.
622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good sections for newbie? on: August 30, 2020, 06:46:30 PM
Depends on newbie interest I think!
Its better to learn about forum rules and expand their knowledge vault with other basic things before running after their own interest. In some cases if they start to fulfill their own interest rather than spending time to know how this forum works actually then possibility of making mistakes is higher.

Ive noticed on development and technical discussion, a lot of newbies gained merits, and Im not shocked cause they are really inquiring on what is they experienced.
Its because they have wide range of knowledge about some specific things but they join this community recently. If anyone have capability of making quality posts or helping community users by proving necessary information than their contribution will be rewarded and its nothing new.

623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 30, 2020, 06:21:31 PM
The media portrays cryptocurrency as a market to make huge profits, and they like to make it seem like there are no risks involved in cryptocurrency trading, which is totally wrong.
Its not a wise decision to start trading or making investment just by following media or crypto based news portals. Yeah its true that worldwide people are making good profits by investing their money on crypto but they are doing this because of their knowledge and experiences. If anyone make investment just by hearing some media press releases that people are getting millionaire overnight then its definitely a wrong decision. Every investment have the possibility of profits and losses and its just not only applicable to crypto investment.

They all hear stories of those that turned millionaires, and they believe that if they get in it will also work for them the same way, and the most annoying part of it is that they want that profit to come in a day.
Its nothing new and pretty much common in new crypto investors. I always suggest newbies to enrich their knowledge vault about the specific field before making early investment.
624  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Possible scam Tether mixer on: August 30, 2020, 05:46:51 PM
I wrote a message on the medium as if by chance the message and deleted by the author Roll Eyes
Its clear that they are not interested to hear anything which is against them. Based on your provided information i can say that they are trying to hide themselves. Stay far from this website and let them mix their own tether.

Actually the want to keep their article fresh for their web visitors and make everyone believe that they are providing honest service from their end. Whenever anyone will comment or ask them about their service legality they will delete it for sure. Its better to keep distance from them and i am not seeing any sign of professionalism from their side when they don't hesitate to run their website by using a domain with (-).
625  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] BULLIONSCHAIN - FAKE TEAM on: August 30, 2020, 09:07:32 AM
Another pure scam project who have stolen other people identities. I don’t think they used any picture of their own on team section. Just like other garbage who have no ability to create whitepaper, team and project roadmap. All they can do is copy/paste or stealing contents from other project. Anyway, you may take a look on their whitepaper and i think you will find plagiarism there.

With the reference of this topic you can create a flag against this project and include the flag link on main topic. Scammer profile tagged from my end.
626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Torch-network Plagiarized Website Contents on: August 29, 2020, 03:03:20 PM
You may forgot to open the flag against this user. Just follow the link and open the flag from your end.
Here it is; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=2846644

What a lazy money grab attempt,. As DeFi hype is increasing, we are seeing more and more of those. They were so much in a hurry that they couldn't even make some kind of whitepaper as they hope people will invest into just about anything with magic word "DeFi" in it.
Yeah,,in recent time most old ICO scammers are trying to make investors fool again by DeFi related scam websites and its hard to say how many fake websites are Live now.

Have you checked their telegram ?

They are spreading fake news on their telegram about listing. I have checked all from my end and they are using their telegram to make investors fool. Their real intention is to move people's on their presale page.

Take a look here,

Here is their telegram channel link: https://t.me/defiloanschannel [Don't believe on their lies]
629  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoinmixer.io is a scam ? on: August 28, 2020, 04:30:53 PM
Channel Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoJueds6570pNGpGl3vGO4A
Even if it has a lot of likes or followers Roll Eyes .
I have already visited their youtube channel and they published their last video on 16 May 2020. Yeah you are right their domain is powerful enough but their youtube or social media activities are too weak. Even someone have commented on all their youtube videos that he got scammed but they are not interested to reply there which is obviously unprofessional.

When there is trusted and professional mixing service provider like chipmixer then running after this type of mixing platform is nothing but taking risks. I will suggest our community users to keep distance from this mixing website.
630  Other / Meta / Re: The moderators are bitches here on: August 25, 2020, 08:19:50 PM
Yeah,I notice his username man. But did not think deeply. Yes, it's about viral that we can see every day in social media that some people want to be viral in the virtual world and they do some unnecessary things so that people start to talk about them.
Exactly,,,Now you understood why he is creating all these topics and if i am not wrong then he is enjoying our presence here. Time to push "ignore" button and let him grow with his abnormal attitude.
631  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yet another SCAM by the shady BITTREX Exchange! on: August 25, 2020, 08:03:55 PM
Closing the account is of secondary importance, what matters most is allowing the user to withdraw her funds and then stop using the exchange. For the records, I had accounts on various exchanges which later introduced mandatory KYC and never had issues in asking them to close my account.
They have no right to block users account without giving opportunity to move funds from their exchange. Even they have to notify their users about the changing of TOS and obviously they can't force someone to go through the KYC verification process. Its like you are forcefully trying to keep me on your exchange when i am not interested to provide KYC.

After implementing new TOS if a user think that he/she will close his account then IMO that specific user's case will be justified under old TOS.
632  Economy / Reputation / Re: Purchased account? on: August 25, 2020, 07:38:22 PM
My goal was not to evade the ban, but my goal was to create a new account and start over well and differently from the previous one after I realized my previous mistakes.
Thanks for accepting your mistakes and no doubt that its quite rare to find people who don't hesitate to accept their fault. Usually people try to play hide & seek game after getting caught but you haven’t followed that way. Sorry to say that your intention of creating new account was your own choice but its not supported by forum rules.

If I had wanted to evade or cheat, I wouldn’t admit my mistakes in front of everyone now
Forum rules is equal for everyone and we can't blend our own thoughts with that. Its moderators turn now and they will take the step from their end.

633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Automatex.org Ponzi Scheme. Offering 150% Return within 30 days. on: August 25, 2020, 06:23:56 PM
Some commission greedy ponzi promoters are still promoting this website. They are endangering others in the greed of getting little commission. Because of them, social media has become unsafe, they are very dangerous for new people.
You can't stop them from doing this when they don't care about projects legality. Actually they promote this kinda money stealing ponzi's just to get the referral bonus. Even some of them know that project will not gonna last for long and most interesting thing is that due to this reason they don't make investment by their own. Basically most ponzi projects offer high referral bonus which influence this type of promoters.

Anyway thanks for sharing the update and hope forum users will be careful about this type of social media posts.
634  Other / Meta / Re: The moderators are bitches here on: August 25, 2020, 06:04:14 PM
you are not a doctor, but this is an obvious case Grin
In some cases you don't need physician license to prescribe.

I saw him some earlier posts too. He constantly accusing Facebook because they do not allow him to deceive their advertising system. I guess here is the same thing, mods removed his trash business proposals, and now he is angry at them.
I am damn sure that now he is gonna get angry with you because you find out his real problem. He don't like forum mods because they are not letting him to spread his lunatic acitivity here. Its better to ignore him rather than giving scope to post another thread with new slang.

Ha Ha, Lol. Bill gates, then Facebook, and now accusing this forum moderators. Also, it's sure that the next day he will start to accuse one of us.
Have you seen his username ? I think he is just trying to maintain its meaning.
635  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ScamAlert] Fake 2,000,000 XTZ Giveaway on: August 25, 2020, 05:36:32 PM
About a week ago Tezos got listed on Bithumb and this exchange actually held a BTC giveaway campaign as a way to promote the event.
They announced it over Twitter, here > https://twitter.com/bithumbofficial/status/1295970154640297984
That’s why scammers targeted Tezos and trying to make get some token from XTZ holders. I have seen some XTZ related promotional videos on youtube and some youtubers are giving their prediction about its future price possibility. Actually scammers launch this type of giveway related scam project when real project go through new listing or any event. As an example during binance anniversary we saw BNB related fake giveways.
636  Economy / Reputation / Re: Purchased account? on: August 25, 2020, 09:46:16 AM
But immediately after he woke up, he began to write very actively

The account does not belong to the original owner?Huh
After creating the account he made his first post on May 31, 2018 but didn't continue his activity from June 28, 2018 to November 11, 2019. So its clear that his account was inactive for nearly 17 month and started to make post again. I will suggest you to visit his post history again and specifically check the difference between his last (June 28, 2018) and new post (November 11, 2019) .

I want to let you know that after creating the account he made all posts in English until he get inactive on June 28, 2018 but surprisingly started to make all posts in Arabic from November 11, 2018. It seems to me that during 17 month inactivity account ownership has been changed and new owner is using the account from last November.
637  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch.co is a scam stay away from them on: August 25, 2020, 06:29:19 AM
Left negative feedback and flagged their profiles using Guest/Newbie flags. Please support the flags
Flag Supported from my end and user profile tagged with red paint. I don't think they care about their forum profile and negative trusts. "Coinswitch" bitcointalk account is inactive for a long time and there is multiple scam accusation against them.

Here is another one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271100.0

I just checked their app reviews in playstore and seen enough bad reviews there. Its clear now what they are doing with their users actually.
638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Tether DeFi Plagiarized Whitepaper on: August 24, 2020, 10:17:10 PM
I think TalkStar meant immature in the sense of not being experienced with cryptocurrency, regardless of actual age.

Yeap,,,you are right and got my point. I am actually not talking about investors age where they have lack of experience in the field of crypto currency related investment. Scammers know much better than us that who have minimum knowledge about ponzi/Hyip they will not gonna invest a single cent on their platform.

Basically scammer's actual target is new crypto users who have started their journey with crypto recently and they know that its pretty much easier to make them fool just by showing unrealistic return plans.

I will suggest all newbies to keep enough distance from this kinda money stealing trap. Stay alert, stay safe.
639  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE COINSWITCH WILL SCAM YOU! on: August 24, 2020, 09:51:51 PM
I did one good transaction with them a year or so ago. But i would not do business with them now. Honestly the whole country of India is blacklisted to me at this point.
Personally i think you should take more time before select another platform for your need. Feeling really bad after hearing about your loss and i know our condolences will not gonna give you much relief in current situation. I think you forgot to add their website link on your main topic although you described everything nicely.

I have seen another accusation recently which is about "Coinswitch". Just checked their official account and its inactive from last April, 2019. Thanks for notifying us about their recent activity and don't forget to give update here if they make further responses from their end.
640  Other / Meta / Re: Why Bitcointalk Account Ban? on: August 24, 2020, 07:33:21 PM
You were banned for violating the rules below.
Maybe he was trying to know something like this, "How did moderators are getting informations about all my alts?"  Anyway, most probably he got all his answers from your impressive investigation work.

You have 7 Alt accounts in this Forum, 5 of which have been blocked, the rest are active 2 more accounts.
Thanks for letting us know about all his alts. I will not surprise if anyone else find more of his alt accounts.

Scrolling down this thread, And before seeing Yoshie's reply I decided to try some investigation about this user has any alt/not. But after a few minutes later can see Yoshie already did the good job.
This is why he wasn’t interested to hear common reasons from our side. I don’t know why did he created this thread actually but it helped us to get information about all his alts.
