541  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Phishing blockchain wallet on: September 22, 2020, 04:49:10 PM
Advertising blockchain phishing sites is an ancient way, but indeed many people are trapped entering the site. The thing we have to pay attention to not to get caught in a phishing site is to check the domain on that site again. one of my friends is also a victim of a scam from a wallet phishing site
Its common that scammers will take the advantage by using reputed platforms name and its nothing new. Such like this one many projects run continuous advertisement to get crypto oriented or specific wallet users attention. In this case we have to stay careful during searching the real website because most of the time you will get phishing site on the first place. If you don't check the URL address carefully then chances of getting scammed is definitely higher and no one can save you from that.

If you bookmark the real website in your browser then chances of visiting phishing website will be relatively lower. In some cases this phishing website owners use 99% similar looking domain where its hard to detect the difference between real and fake one.
542  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit closed my account and stole 1.2+ BTC on: September 22, 2020, 04:10:04 PM
One of the worst gambling sites with the worst review online I have ever come across. I wouldn't trust them with even a cent.
I don't think they have minimum care about people's negative reviews. They have strong advertisement budget and you will see their banner ads on many places but i don't know why the their mentality being so narrow when its a matter of solving accusation. There is multiple accusation against them but after that if people feel it safer to use their platform then what we can do actually.

If I am not wrong then gamblers are running after this platform by seeing their online ads and facing the reality after getting issues during withdrawal.

543  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GRANSINO.com SCAMMY on: September 22, 2020, 03:46:45 PM
Hi there, thanks for reply!

I was little off on a trip too.

Just sent you my username on PW.

My withdrawal is still under review after all that time, and the promised offer was declined without any reason.

Best Regards, Makkaroni.

After resolving your issue don't forget to change the topic title. In some cases its better to wait before opening a accusation and giving extra time to platform authority to check everything from their end. Platforms with large amount of registrant users usually faces customer support issues due to massive support tickets.

Anyway, good to see that Gransino authority have already made their response here. Please keep patience until you get the withdrawal confirmation from their end.
544  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake OmiseGO Airdrop bounty on: September 22, 2020, 06:10:58 AM

You may forgot to archive their website. Here is the archived link :  https://archive.is/vfY3Z

I will suggest you to notify Omisego authority by sharing your thread link to them. After getting your thread link they will be able to let their community know about this fake airdrop.

546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Sushi Swap 1,000,000 Sushi Fake Giveaway. on: September 21, 2020, 05:50:08 PM
A good amount of funds are already coming into the scammers wallets. The fund may have been an innocent crypto user who could not control his greed, sending his hard earned money to scammers. Scammers will bring scam websites as long as they get victims, because if they did not get victims, they would not have spent so much money to create websites.
You can't save all of them from getting scammed when they don't feel it necessary to research properly before investing on this kinda garbage. Let them fulfil their thrust of greediness and they will get the realization soon. We can only expect their upcoming topics on scam accusation and you may know that after getting scammed some of them will come here as a victim.
547  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [$crypto$] - List of Scam Projects I've Ever Exposed - [List 45] on: September 21, 2020, 05:42:57 PM
Good to see that you have done a lot of hard work by revealing all this scam projects. No doubt that its a big contribution for this community and i hope you will keep continuing your scam busting activities in the upcoming days. It doesn't matter how much people saved from getting scammed by reading all these topics where your intention of keeping this forum users safer is the most important thing in my opinion. If a single user changed his mind after reading your topic and keep him/her far from investing on these money stealing projects then its enough achievement for you.

Don't forget to give regular updates. Good luck.

Note: Please double check the domain address carefully during searching the blockchain wallet on google.

549  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TalkStar - List of Scam Projects (2018 - 2020) on: September 20, 2020, 11:08:24 PM
Not really sure where to post this but I figured it fits here, I came across a thread here (I believe it was in the Altcoin Bounties section) but it claimed to give 0.001 btc with a chance to win up to 0.25 for messaging the telegram bot. It said I had won the 0.25 btc prize and it gave me a code to deposit on this site (bilario.com)
It will be much better if you create a separate topic and provide all the evidences you got. Before posting a scam accusation you can visit this topic; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.

Just follow the proper scam report format from the above link and i hope your topic will help our community users to stay far from this website.

551  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some Guidelines when you posting a feedback. (Account sellers) on: September 20, 2020, 06:04:06 PM
I have to admit sometimes I wrote short on the feedback especially those are obvious scammers. But to be honest I should write more details. For the account sellers, mostly I write "account sellers aren't to be trusted".
Details with proper references is always a good option than short line feedbacks. It doesn't mean that you can't use short lines for your feedback but if you think newbies will not gonna get proper meaning from that then its better to write briefly. IMO an user who have already got multiple red trusts and reason is clearly readable from previous feedbacks at that time we can use short sentence there.

I think its almost enough to realize why this person isn't trusted. Anyway, all DT member's opinions and comments wouldn't be the same, so the feedback comment wouldn't same as well.
Most important thing is the purpose of tagging where opinions of writing short or long lines can be different.

553  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful of new email Bitcoin scammers, read this on: September 19, 2020, 10:50:04 PM
Similar like this email our inbox is getting full with lots of fake emails. As we all know that some dishonest platforms sell their users database to others and purchasing emails for marketting purpose is nothing new. This scammers have got OP's email address somehow and sending emails to to get some easy money by giving threats.

I don’t think anyone will believe their stories where they are trying to prove them as hacker. Just ignore this type of emails and report it as spam. Thanks for letting us know about this and i hope forum newbies will not get panicked after having this kind of email. Stay alert, stay safe.
554  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some Guidelines when you posting a feedback. (Account sellers) on: September 19, 2020, 08:05:26 AM
In my personal opinion its always better to write proper description whenever you are tagging someone. Its just not only important for account sellers but also for other type of scammers. New users have limited knowledge about negative trust and flag.

Few days earlier someone contact  me through telegram and shared a flag link. I was so surprised after hearing his thinking about that flag. He asked me that, Will you please take a look on this user's profile? I want to use his service and seeing that lots of users included you have supported him (flag support). His thinking about flag support was wrong and i helped him by providing information about flag and the meaning of support/oppose. Finally after getting all information he cancelled the deal with that scammer.

After having this experience its pretty much clear to me that newbies have less knowledge about forums Trust, merit and flag. So if we spend some extra time to write the reason of negative trust then i think its gonna help them a lot.
555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] 10,000,000 UNI Fake Giveaway on: September 18, 2020, 06:25:15 PM
I don't know who is sending these funds, but these scammers are getting huge amount of funds in their wallets which was very little even yesterday. Is it a matter of concern that so many people are falling into this trap? However, many newcomers will be the victims of this scam, the main reason is that there is a lot of hype in the market with these coins, so many people will be victims of scams because they can not handle greed.
This type of scam projects have their specific target and they launch their project only for them. They know that who have lack of knowledge about crypto related scam projects or comparatively new in crypto will easily send fund to their wallet and this is why they launch multiple scam project in a regular basis. Actually you can't do nothing but creating awareness about crypto scam and we can only keep them far who follow bitcointalk or have account here. Sorry to say that most victims feel it necessary to post their thread here after getting scammed.

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot more of this fake uniswap token giveaways soon.
It is trending and scammers follow trends.
Its nothing new and scammers know well how to attract immature investors and when. Yeah,,,you are right. Maybe some of their uniswap related scam projects are on development mode.

557  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: September 17, 2020, 06:14:38 PM
Thanks @Zasad for giving me the PM and inviting me to join the interview here. Best wishes for everyone.

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?

I wanna give all credits to one of my client who discussed with me about bitcoin and requested me to create a bitcoin wallet in 2014. During that time bitcoin price was nearly 500$ and he wants to send my payments through bitcoin but i didn't accept his proposal that time. I got surprised after few weeks when i checked its price and it was 700$+ just in few month. I shared this matter with one of my friend (Professional Trader) and got lots of information about bitcoin and its use. He suggest me to take clients regular payment through bitcoin payment method and its safer enough. At that time due to other payment method's pending and banking related issues i set my mind to take some of my payments in bitcoin. Couple of weeks later crypto currency trading looks profitable to me and joined the world of crypto traders.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?

I got my first bitcoin from my client as payment for my freelancing work. I can't say the exact date of that payment but maybe it was in 2014. My biggest purchase was in 2015 during price drop and i purchased nearly 8 bitcoin at that time. Still i can remember the day when i shared about my bitcoin investment with my dad and after hearing it he told me that he will gonna stop giving my educational expenses. Few weeks later my dad forced me to sell all the coin because someone suggested him that "Bitcoin is a scam". Although he realized its potentiality later and invested too.

My Grandfather was the only person who secretly supported me to hold my bitcoin's. My grandfather was a banker and still i can remember some of his predictions about digital currency.

3. How did you get on the forum?

After starting crypto trading i have joined so many social media groups for getting news about cryptocurrency and in mid 2016 one social media post took my attention where the guy explained how he got scammed by a bitcoin doubler. During checking his posts comment area i found the link of bitcointalk and made a short visit. It was the first time i heard about bitcointalk but due to personal workload at that time it was hard for me to manage free time to explore more about it. Few days later i found some gigs on some freelancing marketplaces which were bitcointalk bounty and official ANN related.

At last after following this forum users activity, features and acceptability i took my decision to join the community and created my account in mid 2018.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?

You can't ignore the power of ancient banking system and its control over global economy. Worldwide banking organisations are not ready to accept the use of bitcoin and its rapid growth warmly. Honestly bitcoin overall development credits goes to its community who are getting connected with BTC family from different countries. Even people are using bitcoin after getting restrictions from their local government. Some middle earning countries have not sufficient technological support in this field and they think if they accept bitcoin legally in their areas then it will help drug dealers, money launders, arm dealers and criminals to make their transactions easily but unfortunately they are not justifying its positive sides. So, IMO its need more time to create  trusts among more people and hopefully modern world people feel its necessity soon.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?

I am not seeing any problem here and if i am not wrong then lots users are choosing their gambling destination by following these advertisements. For me through mass advertising gambling platforms are making competition among them and bringing new offers to attract professional gamblers to their platform.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?

Personally I always suggest our community users to enrich their knowledge vault about the specific field before taking the final step. Its same for cryptocurrency investment. I think its not important how many years you spent to gather experiences where it actually depends on users capability of learning and thrust of knowledge.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?

No, I don't think any of them have put bad impacts on forum.

After the implementation of merit system entire community got the opportunity of supporting best users. Like same through signature campaigns crypto oriented platforms are getting the opportunity to spread their names and due to this reason they are giving priorities to bitcointalk and its users.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?

There is so many useful topic in forum but to get informations about forum rules and proper guidelines you can visit this one, Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

I don't want to mention most helpful user's name because its not gonna be a short list. All i can say that forum is full with helpful users and they always make their responses when its necessary.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?

Time will say what need to be implemented or not and i don't think my personal opinion will make a big difference here. After that i will like to see any kinda strict rules against "scammers".

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?

Yeap,,,I have interest in both but percentage level is always higher towards trading.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?

As a trader its hard to remember the losses or profits when you are facing both  in a regular basis. But i passed my golden days in 2017 when BTC broke all past price record.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?

I think scammers are taking more advantages than real project owners and very soon people will change their mind about it.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?

I wanna keep this answer open for creator of bitcoin "Satoshi Nakamoto" because he is the person who  have already showed us its necessity.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?

I can't remember the name exactly but it was blockchain related. Have plan to collect some crypto related books before making the next tour.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?

  • BTC
  • ETH
  • TRX

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

At the end of the year Bitcoin's price will be around 16500$ - 17500$ or little higher but real drama will start when it will touch the milestone of 20k.

15. P.S. (Optional)

Don't forget that scammer's are always ready to steal your money. Stay alert, stay safe.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 15, 2020, 08:03:32 PM
there is a big gap between the popularity of IPL and PSL. PSL is still very fresh and has a long way to go.
PSL need more time to get popular and if you make  comparison with IPL then they have to go a long way to match that level. After big bash league IPL has been the most popular cricket league and worldwide cricket fans eagerly wait to enjoy this league. Its just not only like that IPL got strong support from BCCI but also indian bollywood community gave tremendous support which bring massive popularity in a short time. I haven't seen this type of celebrity and business tycoons involvement in other cricket leagues. Even their football leagues are also getting popular day by day and have same support source.

Due to Pakistan's terrorist attack on Srilanka cricket team ICC put restrictions on hosting cricket matches and it was a really bad time for PCB. After this few years later with the support of their government Pakistan cricket board managed to run cricket matches again and as a result PSL launched. So in a situation like this its need more time and hopefully they will be able to get best players on their league in upcoming seasons.

I don’t think he’s the right player to take them to the next level. They need a lot more, he’s good but not world class imo & that’s what they need to compete at the top again.
Yeah i agree with you but maybe Barca have different plan about their future squad.

Before joining olympique-lyon he played for Man Utd and now Barca took him to their squad. Positive thing is that he have experience of playing English league and most probably Barca consider this thing during choosing this left winger.
