361  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Investro using fake team member photo+ ANN thread shilling! on: November 09, 2020, 03:33:42 PM
Good to see that you have detected their fake team at the very beginning of their project launching. I have already posted a warning on their official ANN thread by providing this topic link but they are maintaining a self moderated topic. Like you said it also seems to me that they are using all these newbie account to continuously bump their topic and taking others attention.

I wish our forum users will maintain enough distance from this type of baseless projects who have only ability of stealing other people’s identity.
362  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake Ledger site on: November 08, 2020, 04:08:42 PM
Not sure if someone has fallen for it, but we will always assume that this kind of website can still get someone a victim. So again, community help is needed to report this kind of malicious websites.
I have seen exactly same frontend in some phishing electrum sites and IMO this one is running by the same group of scammers. Thanks for letting us know about this and i believe that Ledger users are not gonna share their wallet information on this kinda fake platforms.

I guess most users who have a hardware wallet like ledger knew the risks of exposing their recovery seed to any website or software aside from using related apps only with their ledger and its USB connector.
Yeah you are right. From my personal experience i can tell that after spending a good amount of time in crypto world people learn about hardware wallets and at-least ledger users will not gonna give scammers easy chances to steal their assets.
363  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Revolut account blocked on: November 07, 2020, 07:04:27 PM
Update!!! At the end of the day, after 5 months of inactivity Revolut finally contacted me telling that they are closing my account due to their "internal policy" with no detailed explanation. Within next 2 months they returned about 80% of my money back to my card (that was initially used for topping up Revolut account) and to my account with another bank (asking me to provide a bank statement with valid account details). No more deals with this fintech Revolut!!! Stay away from it!
Looking forward to see more updates from your end. Personally i will suggest you to cooperate with them and provide necessary docs which they are asking. Although its not looking professional to me that they will close the account and after that they will pay your money but If they keep their word then don't forget to give another update here.

For now you can update your main topic by including necessary evidences and you will find proper format in this sections pinned post area.

364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake ETHEREUM staking website on: November 07, 2020, 04:47:34 PM
Another group of scammers who are trying to make ETH users fool by taking the advantage of Ethereum 2.0 announcement. Recently the word "Stake" got so popular due to DeFi Hyip and to get DeFI hunters attention they are using a domain like this.

When I heard the news about ETh 2.0 the other day, I asked myself when will they start with fake sites, and here it is, and there will be much much more in the coming weeks. Worst of all, many people will fall for this, even though it looks obviously fake.
Its nothing new and scammers usually launch their fake projects after getting new events announcement from established projects. Its not like that they only follow projects upcoming events like ethereum, Tron, Litecoin where their only intention is to take the advantage of any well established projects new announcement.

We have seen many projects like this one who specifically targeted the user of exchanges, wallets and established tokens in the past. No one can stop them from doing this where site visitors will have to take his decision after visiting a fake one like this.

365  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 07, 2020, 02:46:47 AM
I'm not expecting great things to happen like another all time high this year, I consider this year a good momentum or preparation for the next all time high, so many things have happened this year and 2021 is the right time to bear the fruit of 2020.
Although the possibility that Bitcoin can hit an all time high this year, because of the strong buying support.
We have already seen a significant price change due to US election and still its effect is going on. After seeing Biden positive results on electoral vote counting worldwide exchanges started to get new investors and bitcoin investors is also following the same way. Based on current situation Biden will easily get 270 electoral votes for presidential run but still now some are waiting for final results before making their investment.

So hopefully we can expect some spike in upcoming days and i am not seeing chances of sudden drop from this point. Afterthat its crypto where everything depends on holders.
366  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Miners.eu SCAM Website Review on: November 06, 2020, 05:23:33 PM
Hello guys,
I want to share with you this scam website, which claims to sell ASIC miners. I ordered 3 Antminers Z11 back in late July. Made the banktransfer within the required time period and my order still hasn't been shipped. They stopped replying to my mesages now and don't pick up the phone. I am 100% sure they will not send anything at all. They even deleted my account so now I can't even see my order.
Just wanted to let you know about them, so you don't fall in the same trap as me. Stay away from them!
No one gonna believe you without seeing proper evidences and we can't give you suggestions in this case too. I will personally suggest you to visit this topic to learn about proper scam report format.

Here it is, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

You have mentioned that they have deleted your account but i think still you have the proof of conversation that you made with them. Just follow the proper scam report format and attach all that you have in your hand.
367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] KEEP5R - Fake Team on: November 05, 2020, 07:58:07 PM
Most interesting thing is that this guys have wasted a lot of time to change these real faces by editing. I wanna give all credit to their editor who should start work for filmmakers. Unfortunately their fake team has been detected by you and now they are going to hire another photo editor for next project.

Another Impressive work done by you.

I am wondering even who had forced them to use team photos for a crypto platform? Many projects have been running even without team photos, it doesn't mean there is no team behind that project. But using a fake team is an immediate red flag for me and fake team=/scam. No matter who is behind it, their intention is just to raise funds and skip somehow. Just stay away from scammers.
No one forced them to steal these images where its their habit to use other people’s identity. If i am not wrong then they are not new in this field and tried their best to create new identity for all these stolen images but unlucky again.
368  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] xlux is planning to launch an HYIP soon on: November 05, 2020, 04:59:08 PM

370  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] xlux is planning to launch an HYIP soon on: November 05, 2020, 04:44:06 PM
Sorry forgot to support the flag last time. Flag supported from my end and hope others gonna do same.

Project is modfied now !!
instead of daily the earnings can be changed to weekly.

please check out previous origanl topic we have announcement still looking for promoters and contributers.

It doesn't matter that you changed it from daily to weekly when you are offering unrealistic return packages. I think you don't know what you are offering exactly but after seeing your project anyone will understand what you are going to do with investors. Yeah you can only provide this type of return to miners if you have a money printer on your hand otherwise who have minimum knowledge about Ponzi/Hyip.

Do you have a money printer?

373  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] - Uniswap google ad scam on: November 03, 2020, 07:16:18 PM
From what I have seen I think what they do is they make the website acceptable first in Google's ad placement standards and when their ads are up and running in their search engine this is the time where they change their website and turn it into a phishing website that is why they somehow bypass the security Google is trying to implement. If Google wants to improve on this kind of matter I think the best way to do it is to constantly monitor the changes happening from that link to see if there is something suspicious going on with what they are advertising.
Yeap,, this is how they get the approval for their Ads first and replace the phishing one after that. Although i am not sure about google recent ad rules but they go for initial review after getting report from anyone. In most cases this type of website owners follow strong SEO to bring their website on top suggests list.

To keep safer from these traps i always prefer to bookmark the real website for regular use but most new crypto user usually like to use browsers search bar.
374  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Phishing Ripple website then redirecting to fake giveaway on: November 03, 2020, 06:52:08 PM
Ok so criminals just got another method here, they replicate a ripple.com domain through cryllic attack, but then will present themselves with this kind of fake giveaway and there could be some that will think that this is legit enough and deposit some in hope that they will double their money. Clever trick, and thanks for the fair warning and we also wish that no one will be a victim here.

Its nothing new and they are running multiple websites like this. Even they are using the same frontend for most of their websites. Few month earlier XRP authority have requested youtube to remove all fake XRP giveaway related content from their platform and after that this scammers are changing their domain on a regular and keeping the trap active for cryoto users.

Here is more details about fake Ripple giveaways, https://eng.ambcrypto.com/another-xrp-giveaway-scam-goes-live-youtube-where-art-thou/
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it wise to deposit $ 100 in bitcoin before the united states vote? on: November 03, 2020, 06:39:09 PM
You understand it right. This is gonna be my first time that's why I will buy to find out whats its gonna be happen. Election in US I think it will increase the prices.
You have already mentioned that its gonna be your first investment on bitcoin and for that depending on US election will not be a wise decision IMO. Although I don't know how much financial stability you got but if this 100$ isn't a big amount for you then you don't need to wait for US election voting results. Already many users have shared their suggestion for you and you can easily find your answer from their replies.

If I am not wrong then you are expecting bitcoin price bump after US election but sorry to say that no one can give you guaranty about that. Its just a formal prediction where actually it depends on investors own decision. I am not seeing any obstacle for investors that they will have to join the market after election.
376  Economy / Reputation / Re: Suspicious Signature campaign Hex.com on: November 03, 2020, 06:12:36 PM
So it can only mean there will be no spreadsheet and that this is a joke campaign for free advertising, which’ll run for a week only before the manager comes up with an excuse to run away. I don’t think he will even choose a list of participants to be accepted.
If you are getting the opportunity of free advertising like this then why you will spend your money.

Have you seen his second reply?

After reading his last post it seems to me that he don't care what people are talking about him and similarly all the participants who have already submitted their application for joining that campaign have no care about it is real or fake. So you can tell that campaign owners and the applicants are same in their behavior.

Let them do it whatever they want. That's their time and they have the right to waste it anywhere. We can just create awareness, they are the ones who have to follow. Even there are many red tags on the manager profile but participants do not care. So they deserve the loss of their time. I don't want to leave neutral feedback for them, it's just a waste of time.
Yeah,,, You are right. If participants don't feel it necessary to justify the authenticity of the campaign then no one can keep them on right track. I don't think after getting tag they will change their activity where they have tendency of join the crowd without justification.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285523.0

I will really appreciate it if you help me to flag that scammer.
and for sure if someone needs the whole conversation that I export via telegram(html) I can send it even it's a small conversation

Its a newbie account which was created 3 month earlier and he is trying to provide his service through a self moderated topic. Dealing with a newbie account is always risky and the risk the level is much higher when you will going to make a deal through telegram conversation. You have already got the experience what I am trying to say and you made the mistake by taking his service.

I will suggest you to visit this thread and update your topic by following the proper scam report format.

378  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-10-30] Bitcoin transaction fees jump by 570% over 12 days on: November 03, 2020, 05:40:04 PM
Then again, we don’t have many other places in the world that have favorable conditions for mining farms, so I guess mining power should be distributed across the different countries that are cold/rainy enough to mine a lot there. (I heard rumors that cold weather makes mining faster because he miners can be overclocked). I guess Antarctica is always an option in the distant future  Cheesy
As far as i know cold weather is favorable for mining equipment's and this is why most mining farms try to ensure their mining machines longevity first. Mining machines temperature control is a big fact but it doesn't mean to fulfill that you have to choose destination like Antarctica. Currently most mining farms are doing good with their central cooling system and its not an big task for professional miners.

You can take a look here and see how miners are running Liquid cooled bitcoin mining farm.
379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DreamerBT tried to scam me for 0.1btc using the fake telegram manager trick on: November 03, 2020, 05:24:11 PM
PS. Should i be worried of the scammer's backlash on me in my fight with the casino topic?
After seeing your previous thread scammers are trying to get some easy money from you by showing wrong guidelines. If you make mistake from your side and let them play their money stealing game then no one can save you from getting scammed. After having a experience like that I don't think still you will believe on strangers who are trying to help you for their own benefit.

I don't know you have checked "DreamerBT" trust page before following his instruction but its the only way by which you can justify someone. Good to see that you haven't put your foot on his trap. Anyone can contact you and say that he is a team member of Betcoin.ag but you will have to justify it from your end.

I will suggest you to use small size images which will help thread visitors to read your topic without too much scrolling.
