Another dice site copying PD's signature. I am not surprised. Not the first time and will not be the last.

I am holding most of my coins, but I do spend some of them. Overall, I buy more bitcoin than I spend, is that hoarding? For me that it saving. I have to agree we need to spend more to keep the bitcoin economy going.

I have this experience before! I wish an online shop can accept bitcoin, much better than wiring money and deal with exchange rates. Good campaign OP!

you didn't want to pay me for posts made in the interim.
How many posts are there in question? If it is not a lot, better to just let them go. There is not a lot you can do except leaving a negative comment on his trust

Anyone can monitor any address on the blockchain. There is no risks involved when you subscribe to the service with only your public address and not your private keys.

This is nothing new. It all boils down to money laundering . The profits they get from customer's accounts working with bitcoin is not worth the risk of fines and lawsuits.

I often worry about this myself. I reuse addresses, but I figure it will take much much longer to crack my private key before the day I change to another main receiving address. Most importantly, I have too little to be a target.

Even if there is one, would you trust the developer enough to use it? I would use the online blockchain wallet instead.

If you have a keylogger, no password is strong enough. Best to use a dedicated machine for bitcoin, and install nothing but your wallet software and no altcoin wallets either.

You only need about 20 posts for the posting delay to be dramatically reduced. Being patient is what you need, no need to pay a fee.

As others had said, transaction fee is a fee to pay miners to include your transaction into the blockchain. But there are ways to send a free transaction. If you have enough bitcoin, something like 0.1 btc, you can leave them idle and accumulate maturity. Read about it on the wiki, I am still researching.

The bitcoin poster is great! Pity I didn't see this when I was a newbie. Understanding the structure is important for knowing what to expect when sending transactions.

If have larger and larger retailers accepting bitcoin, it is difficult for bitcoin prices to crash. Stop spreading FUD! Sell all you want, I am holding mine.

Download a linux live cd and bootup your old pc with a USB flash disk, copy your wallet.dat on to the flash disk and hopefully you can recovery your wallet.

Just wait it out. Everyone here has to endure the newbie limitations, it's not a big deal. Keep reminding yourself that you will be rewarded when you get to member status.

The component labeled "301Q" is a mini transformer. It is very likely to be a modem card.

Btc-e is one of the better managed exchanges, I would give it a little more trust. Not saying a delay is excusable.

Euro is very cheap now. I expect Euro to rise in value when their economy improve in a few years.

I get the same feeling too. Bitcoin feels like it is worth a lot more than its equivalent value in fiat. When you loose a dollar, it's no big deal, but when you loose 0.001btc, it feels like $10.

Blockchain.info has been unreliable recently. It will be fixed eventually. Better to use a second block explorer to view transactions, such as blockr.io
