421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 16, 2019, 05:07:28 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
Without full time workers in cryptocurrency only few people don't involve any others work without trading, holding and hunting. Main source of income should business or job. In cryptocurrency only staking, mining and reference rewards is left. In bullrun some are involved in airdrop instead hunting bounty.
I have day time job and it is my source of income, I known many people that want to make investment but they do not have enough capital. It is really hard to build capital at first, but we should be smart and work hard to build a capital in order to start investment like trading or mining. My first trading portfolio only consists of few bucks but I manage to grow it through my skills.

For now, if we don't have large capital, it is better to make cryptocurrency a side job. The absence of clear regulations in the cryptocurrency market makes investing or trading in crypto a high risk although I think cryptocurrency is a potential investment
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 16, 2019, 05:03:19 AM
I think in any goverment they can't replace fiat money, so difficult to change a national currency to be crypto. There are many program cashless with their own currency in every country. I think they just addopt the technology, remember that high volatile cash in value can't be accepted by people.
Cryptocurrencies are created on the principle of decentralization and anonymity, but all governments want to control cryptocurrencies to protect their economies so that they do not now recognize cryptocurrencies. But I think in the future, when blockchain technology is widely used, every community will create a type of cryptocurrency, which they can control, to represent them.

In my opinion the government wants to control cryptocurrency because of several factors. One of them is so that cryptocurrency does not interfere with the dominance of fiat money and also to get taxes from cryptocurrency transactions. I think the Government will recognize cryptocurrency sooner or later because technological development cannot be dammed by anyone
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 16, 2019, 04:59:34 AM
It's important for this type of IEOS that the team and initial investors have vesting. That way they cannot sell their coins for at least a year or 2 years. That way the next investors are protected from big whales that just want to pump and dump and gives the project enough time to develop and grow.

I think whales participated in IEOs. With millions of dollars in sales achieved in just a few minutes or hours, I think most of the buyers are whales and I think this is only natural because everyone wants to make a profit. The prices of almost all tokens and coins are currently down and not limited to IEO tokens, so I don't think we need to worry as long as the project is still running and has active transactions on the market
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 11, 2019, 09:42:13 AM
The fear of dumping often makes the project team fear or avoid the payment of hunters until sometimes after the exchange listing. I wonder why the team make themselves restless on an easy thing like that when they can easily conduct their bounty with bitcoin or ethereum for payment. That will safe them of the fear that the bounty hunter will dump after the exchange listing.

Fear of dumping should not be unreasonable because if the project is good and attractive to many investors, the project will still go up in price even if the reward for bounty hunters is paid. Hunters will not be dumping tokens if the project promises and the developer team provides ongoing information to investors and hunters
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: December 11, 2019, 09:38:12 AM
MEW is the most preferred erc20 wallet by most people because it is easy to create a wallet and it is easy to access. There is also metamask as an alternative wallet where you can add as an extension on your browser.

I think MEW is better because it's easy to use and so far I think it's safe. The most important thing is to always check the web certificate that is in our browser so as not to be lured into visiting a fake web
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 11, 2019, 09:31:06 AM
If BTC dominance would drop to 35-40 percent as it was back in 2017, all altcoins will raise in price and we would finally enter green market cycle. But I do not see this happening in the nearest future, so buy BTC and wait.

Agree, if the dominance of Bitcoin goes down, altseason will occur naturally. With the altitude of almost 5,000 coins and tokens, I don't think all altcoins will go up in price, just a few altcoins that I think will give profits to investors.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: December 10, 2019, 09:34:40 AM

Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?

Bitcoin dominance in the market today is more than 60% in my opinion because the market cap value is down compared to the beginning of 2018. Besides that, the number of new coins affects the dominance of altcoin in the market and I think this is not a sign of altcoin in the boycott but investors prefer to secure their investments in the form of Bitcoin
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 10, 2019, 09:30:55 AM
Many people want to see their governments adopting crypto currency and using it to replace fiat in their daily life. If it happens futurely, it will be in a centralized way of course. Governments will create their own crypto currencies and force people use it.
But my main concern is: why would they do this if there is already digital cash?
Isn't a centralized crypto currency the same than digital cash? What is the difference, if there is any?

Share your thoughts, please.

Even though the Government will issue its own cryptocurrency, I think it will still be controlled by the central bank. In my opinion, the state cannot arbitrarily issue money because it will affect the economy as a whole.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top performing Altcoins this year? on: December 10, 2019, 09:27:37 AM
The year 2019 will end and I think 2020 will be an interesting year after many coins whose prices have fallen in 2019. For 2019, in my opinion there are a number of profitable tokens but because the price of Bitcoin has fallen below $ 10k, the strengthening is less meaningful if faced with US Dollar
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: December 10, 2019, 09:24:12 AM
I dont think there is any chance for any altcoin when bitcoin is fluctuating like this. The panic drops are too many these days and whenever we see a hit to bitcoin, we see more sumps of alts. Its better to stay away from alts right now.

I think there are some good altcoins as an investment even though the current altcoin market conditions are not good. Bitcoin price movements are still fluctuating indeed influential but I think it will not continue to be dominated by Bitcoin alone
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts with no liquidity on exchanges on: December 09, 2019, 09:47:15 AM
Since Coinmarketcap added Liquidity to its indicators, you can see a lot of tokens with enormous daily volumes have no liquidity at all. Is it even worth to invest in this kind of tokens? Does that mean that most of the volumes are fake? Thanks for the answers.

Coins or tokens that don't have liquidity, I think are not good investments. In my opinion, one indicator of an investment is said to be safe is to have a large liquidity and is also actively traded in the market.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba cooperates with new blockchain platform, Is this project worth following on: December 09, 2019, 09:42:48 AM
this will be big news ...
Alibaba is a large company from China and has a large business unit. I'm sure the project will have a big impact. what's more now that China has supported the blockchain project, this could become a new force in the cryptocurrency market later. I can't wait for the project to be truly released.

Maybe Alibaba will use the technology blockchain but that doesn't mean they will jump into the cryptocurrency market because they already have their own payment method, Alipay. Blockchain has become a technology that will be used by large companies and I think it is not surprising if Alibaba uses blockchain to secure their data, it will be a surprise if Alibaba releases its own cryptons
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 09, 2019, 09:39:21 AM
There is no doubt that the scam projects are bringing bad image to the cryptocurrency industry. This explains why more people and projects are sceptical of joining the space. In fact some persons have misconstrued the cryptocurrency space to be a hub for Scammers and unscrupulous individuals.

Agree that the scam project gives a bad image to the cryptocurrency market because new investors will be afraid to invest. In addition, good projects that should be able to achieve sales targets and run become hampered because of investors' fear of scam projects.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: December 09, 2019, 09:34:11 AM
In the midst of volatile prices, calm is needed so that our emotions do not control our trade. In my opinion, hold and calm is important because investing for the long term is a good thing to create a good climate for the developer team to be able to produce good products and also price development
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 09:41:17 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?

Trading or bounty is still my side job because I have a long-time job. Meanwhile, to look for profit in the midst of current market conditions, in addition to trading in my opinion is to accumulate potential coins or top 50 coin marketcaps and hold them for the long term
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you stake? Exchange or wallet? on: December 04, 2019, 09:36:50 AM
Considering the safety of your coins and the simplicity of staking process, do you stake in centralized exchanges or you consider using crypto wallets that supports staking like imtoken, trust and atomic wallet.

Where do you stake?

If we really want to staking in a centralized exchanger, it's better to choose an exchanger who already has a good reputation. But it will be safer if we choose staking in our own wallet because we are in control of the coins we have
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: December 04, 2019, 09:31:56 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

In the market, both the stock market or forex, including cryptocurrency, when the market is in a bad condition, they better wait and see. I think that every investor will take the opportunity when the market is down and many big investors are accumulating coins at low prices
Investors who understand the market too well are making money even in this kind of situations, they acknowledge the adjustment that they needed in order to continue gaining out from the market. While in the other hand, people who are suffering from loses are those who are not ready not knowing that in every event there's cycle that's needed to follow. Wise investors will scalp and also accumulates, they will split funds and wisely balance the trading strategy that they will going to use.

Agree, experienced investors will be able to take advantage even if prices fall. Long-time experienced investors will not easily panic when prices in the market fluctuate so they can prepare exit strategies and sometimes they play in the short and long term at once in a few coins
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: December 04, 2019, 09:27:59 AM
Guys, let's try to figure out which altcoins can give a huge% growth when the entire cryptocurrency market flies to the moon. I have a friend who bought xem when it cost very very little and earned more than $ 100K on growth, I think that now there will be such coins that our pockets can make rich, you just need to know which projects have a chance, so let's offer each other options Smiley

I think an opportunity like that will come again even though we have to sort out lots of altcoins. Getting profits like what happened in 2017 could have happened if the market cap value of the cryptocurrcurrency market rose again above $ 500 billion and hopefully this will happen in 2020
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is Crushing The U.S. in Blockchain Adoption on: December 03, 2019, 09:26:12 AM
China is Beating The U.S. in Blockchain Adoption.  READ THE FULL ARTICLE VIA THE LINK BELOW https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2019/11/30/china-is-beating-the-u-s-in-blockchain-adoption/

China is one country that is open to new technologies and is able to adapt and take advantage of these new technologies. With adoption, I think the Chinese Government will become the world's biggest economic power in a short period of time and might be able to surpass the Americans who still stutter in the face of Libra Coin
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: December 03, 2019, 09:21:36 AM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

Well only bitcoin lives up to its expectations this year, for altcoins no single expectation comes to reality and 2020 is already here, now everybody is expecting bitcoin halving to bring new ATH which i think it might not because last halving bitcoin doesn't start surging instantly

Expectations are sometimes not in line with what is happening in the market and I think this is common in any market. I think many people are expecting more on the cryptocurrency market but because of the many bad news, investors are a bit scared and wait and see. Hopefully 2020 can meet the expectations of crypto investors and can provide good profits
